JRoon, nice find.
I don't know....... isn't the Trigs indication the result of the Marine study? If so, that's where to look.
Hi North, AMRN can't withdraw it's ANDA for the Trig indication unless there is a safety problem with the drug.
Zip...... I agree.....and I'd be one happy dude if they acquired us for a handsome price. I'd be fine with stock and cash
I don't think EddingPharm paid out millions in royalties to sit back and watch generics rip them off but we'll see.
It would be nice Stockboy but the 300 - 400K would refer to pills and not scripts I'm guessing.
Much appreciated Capt'n
North, that will pay for a some Christmas presents...... not many but it should cover this years.
Da Bears....
Cardinals have a better team than the Patriots...... by a mile.
My Scottish and Irish friends would say they could spin a whole spool of copper thread with that profit.
Not to brag but I'm up about a quarter of a penny on my newly acquired shares. Genius!
Denisk.........I don't see the problem with that! What am I missing?
Tried to keep it above .80..... I bought a few more shares at .81....... the stock gods hate me.
Hi Nukem...... no kidding.... Steelers are a bunch of pretenders...... my Rams almost took down the Ravens..... great game but a loss is a loss.... I'm glad the Packers lost last night.... the Rams can sneak into the playoffs if they take care of business and stack up some wins down the stretch.
liam....... the ignore button is a wonderful thing. Use it. It will simplify your life and reduce your reading time.
I'm keeping it pegged above .83 I have an order in right there and it won't come down to hit it.
Good stuff SB
Thanks Lizzy
Thanks JRoon....... it does seem to line up that way.
A Form SC 13G/A was filed so based on what I think it means...... Morgan Stanley controls less than 5% so they no longer control more than 5%.... is that what the filing means?
Remind me not to invite you to any upcoming parties of joy! Eeyore
Up another 7% today which doesn't suck! Would be nice to close over $1 this week. Why not!
Nice...... the more we can show benefits for all kinds of medical issues, the better quality of life for these sufferers.
It's been a long time coming that watching the share price action is fun again.
JRoon....... understood completely...... I'm in the camp that I don't care what Sarissa does with the shares including wiping their backside with them as long as he can make my investment in AMRN pay me back large sums of money...... as in now I can retire money.
Well... our new Chief Legal Officer is now in the money with his options for 800K shares at .75c. I want his shares to be worth $8 million
Every share Sarissa buys is one share less in the float.
Much better than a sharp stick in the eye! I'll take it.
Very interesting indeed Captn...... and we have the World Health Organization, American Heart Association, and lot of others in the Global health community to thank by continuing to push higher consumption of crap filled polyunsaturated fat and processed food high carb diets over meats and saturated fat diets. I'm in the "if you can't beat them, join them camp meaning, they create the diseases, I invest in the treatments. What a racket!
zman, I love that idea of yours...... good luck running with it.
JRoon, does that mean they are no longer classified as controlling shares for reporting purposes?
I have no idea what this answer is but I wonder if you loan your shares out to be shorted, are you technically still in control of them while they are being shorted?
Good article and I'm glad to see Dr Mason cited in it and referring to icosapent ethyl.
These statements are always misleading as they leave out important details
"People who follow these plant-focused diets have lower rates of heart disease than omnivores, who include animal-sourced foods in their diets."........ the only reason this has some truth to it is that people on plant based focused diets are far more involved in their health and well being. They tend to have a healthier lifestyle so it's not about the plants. They are doing it wrong with a plant based diet but at least they are consciously thinking about it.
I did see your flip phone Nukem.......look next to the portable 4 track player that still has the Herman's Hermits cartridge in it.
Lizzy, anyone can do it and be successful if you don't have a generic equivalent to your chemical. AMRN has generic equivalents to V so a simple name change may drive more scripts for V but a percentage of those will go the the Generics just as they do now.
Lizzy, unfortunately that won't work......... I emailed the suggestion to Elisabeth who was PR for AMRN at the time of the DU decision. She emailed me right back and said it's still icosapent ethyl (I'll never spell it correctly). The Dr would prescribe whatever the name is and the pharmacy/insurance would still search for a generic equivalent.
Well Nukem, my Rams took care of the SeaHags so now we turn to your Cardinals...... a team that we should beat but Boy Wonder McVay will find a way gift it to you. Stay tuned!
There will always be Nissens when there are agendas and big money involved in the medical industry. The impact can be devastating....... look back in history when Ancel Keys convinced the medical "thought leaders" (American Heart Association advisory committee)that saturated fats and animal meats were the cause of high cholesterol which caused heart disease.. He used flawed science and "cropped tables" as well. This became the basis of the so called healthy food pyramid which is a bunch of crap. Now so many people are convinced that vegetable oils (polyunsaturated fats) and carbohydrates are good for you and cholesterol is bad. Now look at the health of most Americans and other countries on western diets. Heart disease is still the number one killer in the world and look no deeper than the recommended food sources today.
Can we get above .80 today? If only I had one of those classic magic 8 balls to predict it for me!
