Great... a Clay video. This gang of get rich quick suckers that follow him around is the last thing KGKG needs.
Big mistake. You should ALWAYS take your financial advice from the farm equipment.
Now you've got all this extra money sitting around that you have to deal with.
For those keeping score at home....
Using quick math in my head I count about 2,000,000 shares trades at .10
That's serious money betting big on it going up from a dime
The .098 resistance is even stronger when manipulators wont' let it break through.
When it reached .098 the ask drops
Every time bids start going through at the ask the ask drops again
Predictable as the sun rise.
Someone is stopping this from shooting to the moon. And I'm okay with it slowing down a bit. I rode the unregulated SHMP boom to .95 and back to .18. I know that's a bad way to let a stock rise as it wont' sustain
But KGKG really WANTS to rise and it being held back
This is why SHMP has to come out and say SOMETHING
Even if its just officially "We can't say what we're doing but we are working on something that should pay off soon."
If they don't say at least that they are neglecting their fiduciary duty to their share holders.
And I don't mean come out next month. I mean come out this afternoon and make a statement saying SOMETHING. Let the world know you're not sitting around the office playing ping pong.
You can't do things old school in the modern world.
5.6 million shares at 10:30am
If we hurry...and get a few big sales...we MIGHT break the 10 day average volume of 5.7 million....by 4pm. haha
...
They need to say something.
Even if they say "Hey guys, we met with F&T this week and we have something we think will be really cool in the works. The time horizon is X months, but that is a variable estimate. We can't go into details on this right now for some business reasons but we wanted you to know we're working on something good."
That would be fine. Just say that if you can't say anything specific. Make people know you are doing something.
OTC stocks be crazy....
KGKG announces partnerships with major industrial scale distributors, share price goes down every time.
KGKG announces a tiny sticker on some dude's water skis and the share price sky rockets.
I'm not complaining about a 5% green morning.
I just don't understand it to save my life. hahahahaha
I may just not travel in the Competitive Water Skiing circuit. but does this have any viability?
Prior to this morning I didn't even know there WAS a competitive water skiing circuit.
This is a serious question, not a negative one. I don't know anything about competitive fishing either, other than it's popular with a large group of people who aren't me. So for all I know this is a popular thing among coastal towns.
It's also possible the dude is a friend of someone and this is a low cost deal with no real down side. It's certainly a 'can't hurt' situation.
Fine. That stuff happens. Everyone understand that stuff happens.
Come out and say "Hey...this happened. The numbers are still awesome. The official report just needed to be retyped because the auditing firm spelled something wrong. It'll be out in a few days. All is well."
Hell...Tweet it. I don't need an official PR. Just offer an explanation when you don't deliver on your promises.
People will understand mistakes. They won't understand silence.
That said...maybe that report drops in the morning and this thing gaps up to .095 and then piles on another 10% for the day.
That isn't the point.
The point is credibility of the CEO
He's earned it with me over the last 6 months by being a straight shooter. So I'm not super worried about a promise being at least 1 day late since I don't believe it means the numbers he eluded to were false. I can give him the benefit of the doubt.
But a new investor who is just looking at the stock this week sees that without having a history of credibility and see a self imposed deadline missed without a public reason why and it can hurt the stock price and chasing that investor away.
The point is you don't make promises then not deliver on them silently.
Either make promises you can absolutely keep, or make a statement about how something went wrong and you'll keep the promise as soon as possible. Credibility is everything. And all the credibility you've banked with investors who've been around for 6-12 months means bubkis to the new investor.
Until someone shows video of him saying it or photos of the products on a Walgreen's shelf, it's not true.
It's just another random thing someone said on iHub that transforms instantly into a rumor.
As for today's price action, the company needs to address this soon. They have had a 40% fall off since their high price around 75 cents all of 10 days ago. They need to say something to reassure the stockholders that the company is sound or the selloff will continue
It can be something as simple as "We know the price has fallen. We're aware of it. These things happen but we're very confident in our future because of X, Y, and Z"
I think they already bumped the Q2 forecast to $400,000 based on the Q1 numbers that they know but haven't officially released (though unofficially they are $260,000)
I can't imagine they would bump them again prior to actual Q2 sales coming through showing them they were off the mark at $400,000
But it's May. They have a month of Q2 sales they can see now.
KGKG from their April 15th and 18th PRs
"will be releasing quarterly disclosure later this month"
https://ih.advfn.com/stock-market/USOTC/kona-gold-solutions-inc-KGKG/stock-news/79697521/kona-gold-solutions-inc-begins-production-of-its
Paragraph 2. Line 1.
'this month' ended yesterday.
I'm not too bothered by the contents as they have eluded to what the numbers are. But it's off putting that they say there is an official disclosure coming by end of month that then doesn't come. New investors are turned off by that kind of thing.
What is going on with this stock today?
And where are the financials that were promised by yesterday?
Not gonna lie. I'm a little off put by being promised financials by yesterday and having them not delivered, especially without any explanation or an apology saying "Oh we forgot to cross one of the t's so it'll be delayed a couple days. Our bad."
Instead we get rehashed news yesterday and no promised financials.
I'm not worried about the company long term. But that cheeses me off in the short term a little.
Me 5 seconds ago...
I'm not seeing piddly little 2000 share transactions
I'm seeing 90,000...62,000....50,000 etc
Those kinds of buys (if they continue) will help to sure up a new support level in the high 8's
There was a lot of that going on yesterday between .08 and .082 as well
I have a large core position that I'm not selling for a long while.
But I do have a smaller position I picked up as a flipper position to pay for my hockey tickets for next year. So if we could run to .0922 today...that'd be cool. I certainly wouldn't mind watching my team for free next season.
Tomorrow is good too. No pressure.
His glow plug is burned out, if you catch my meaning.
Doesn't look like today is going to be the big day.
Oh I didn't realize it was a car show. I thought it was some beverage industry event
Public exposure is just as important and industry exposure
Who attends these kinds of things?
I assume it's not consumers. If it distributors? Retailers? Marketers?
Multiple $10,000 buys at .08 this morning. Not 10,000 share buys. 10,000 dollar buys.
That's not someone who's betting big on a lot more .075's (I'm good at math like that)
Is KGKG delivering Q1 financials today?
I don't see anything listed this morning
I believe they promised by end of month (which technically could mean after close today still)
Stores that carry Kona Gold around Baltimore....
Anyone know of any?
I've tried to get the holistic store who's on this new CBD push that's walking distance from my house to sell it but the place is run by a moron who honest to god thinks the real money is in healing crystals. There is no fixing that.
Keep in mind Kona Gold is a cold beverage
It's sales through March are impeded by the fact that no one wants a cold beverage in winter.
They have all these distribution partners set up and and breaking company sales records....and it's not even warm outside in most of the country yet.
Imagine when summer hits.
Best segment from today's PR
How did you learn of this material information?
Someone explain to me why KGKG is falling this deep into the 7's today
I don't get it.
Are they just spooked by any upcoming financial report?
KGKG has pretty much broad casted what the numbers will be. It's not like there is a huge unknown here.
I get why people would want to buy at .074 but what kind of nincompoop would be selling at those prices?
I know the day to day trading trends don't matter. It just makes no sense.
Keeping more shrimp alive to maturity is the single biggest distinguishing factor making Natural Shrimp a better alternative to current breading practices from a financial standpoint due to higher profit margins. (The clean water non antibiotics stuff is the biggest factor of sales and marketing)
If you think that having a mortality figure SIGNIFICANTLY better than the industry at large, which would increase profit margins dramatically, wouldn't be material information that would boost the stock's share price, you are just wrong.
An immaterial event would be someone learning that the company was repainting the break room at the office.
But ANYTHING related to the actual business the company is involved in would be considered material information that would land you in a whole heap of trouble with the SEC.
And if you traded based on non public information you can make the argument to the SEC and to the judge that you didn't believe it was material, but if they don't agree....enjoy prison. So that's a pretty big risk to take.
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/insiderinformation.asp
If you don't think information confirming the mortality rate being significantly better than the industry average or a new location opening to be materially significantly, I don't know what to tell you.
Both of those examples would be materially significant.
Both of those things, if made public, would make the stock price jump dramatically.
Knowing about that sort of thing in advance gives you a material advantage on other investors.
It is still insider trading if you trade based on non public information
You're just an insane moron if you publicly declare to the world that you're doing it on a public message board.
Well played. hahahahha
And yes...there is always the unsupported sudden burst in share price based on nothing. That WILL happen here too. But it will be short lived.
If you see it suddenly jumping up 30% one day, you should sell it and buy back in the next day when it settles back to where it was before.
I won't do that because I don't have the stomach for that kind of thing....I mean you never know when a sudden bump like that will hold at the higher price and you'll be screwed. But logically speaking and statically speaking, you could make some good money flipping short term jumps on KGKG
It's just hard to commit to it with this stock because it doesn't trade 'normally' for an OTC stock. So all the normal logic is kinda of out the window.
It trades more like a big board stock so everything I said before about Q2 and Q3 numbers is more of what I think will happen. In a normal OTC stock the actual numbers are often irrelevant. They jump and fall based on rumors and dark sorcery.
The same kind of legal troubles one would get into by saying he learned non public information from someone with inside access to a publicly traded company and used that information to buy stock.
Hypothetically speaking of course. Not talking about anyone in particular.
Just saying that IF someone were to publicly admit to doing EXACTLY THAT on a message board, one would be setting himself up for some serious legal problems.
Hypothetically.
That is not the real Peter. The real Peter has said he doesn't post here.
That is another iHub user with an alt account. If I say which one my post will get whacked again. But look for the other obvious promoter on the board this morning. That's him.
This is why the Q2 and Q3 reports are what till make KGKG go bonkers
The upcoming Q1 report is probably already baked into today's share price. The official report will solidify the current prices, probably raise then a few percent. But it will make .08 a rock solid foundation floor.
It will likely spike the price to .09 for a day or 2 due to some new investors just hearing about KGKG but I imaging it'll settle in the low .08's after that. There just isn't news in the Q1 (probably) that we don't already know.
They have already told us what the numbers are and what the projections for Q2 are. What else is going to be in Q1 that is super explosive? Probably nothing.
There might be a few other PR's in the next 3 months that are exciting and give it another few percentage point bumps like new flavors additional distributors and stuff like that. And of course there is always that unexpected possibility where they suddenly PR that Kona Gold will be in every Wawa and Sheetz or something crazy. But you can't plan on the "amazing news out of nowhere" PR's
Q2 though will likely show increase sales over Q1, which is obviously a huge thing for any company. That seems like a foregone conclusion to me based on all the new distributors they signed up in Q1. Those distributors' sales aren't reflected in the Q1 numbers coming out because most of those are probably just getting up to speed and restocking the original orders now. The should be up and running at speed for Q2 so I see no reason why Q2 numbers won't be really strong and give us a big bump in share price.
But Q3...that's the one. That's the "sell some shares to ride free" report. That one is for July, August, and September. Those are prime beach months. KGKG has a lot of distributors in coastal areas and vacation spots. Plus summer is just the best time for and cold drink sales. It's not a stretch to think that the Q3 numbers could be better than Q1 and Q2 combined. That is not crazy talk.
The Q3 financials in the fall could send KGKG towards $1.
The point is...don't get upset when the Q1 numbers are released next week and the share price only jumps to like .082. Be patient.
Trades going through at the ask of .46?
Better drop the ask to .455!
Oh crap! There are buys at .455! Drop it to .454!
Whew...that was a close one. Someone might have gotten the idea that this was an honestly trading stock and not being massively manipulated today.
Makes sense
Manipulators are trying to bring the price down.
But it got so bought up around .51 this week that no one is willing to suddenly sell at a loss.
The manipulation is going strong too. That ask dropping from .499 to .498 to .497 to .496 to .495 all in about 2 seconds is some major manipulation to prevent the share price from climbing.
And it wants to climb. If left alone it would go up 20%
Rookies think that when you buy stock you buy it from the company and they get all the money.
They don't understand that the company only profits from the original stock sale, not the later sales between investors.
I'm curious what caused that sudden spike this afternoon.
Nothing changed publicly.
No news of JV's or sales or anything.
So this is 1 of 2 things.
Either it was a manipulation that tricked a few people into chasing share price (which I might believe on lower volume, but about 2 million shares changed hands during that late day run) or someone heard something about SHMP and was willing to pay a 20% premium on the daily market price to make sure he got in before the price goes even higher.
It could also be something in between...where someone heard something and was willing to pay a 5% premium above the level price of the last 3 weeks and that high bidding caused others to create an artificial run that spiked and settled 10% higher overall.
The volume just seems too high for pure manipulation. About $500,000 changed hands in that last hour. That's not pocket change. That's not someone screwing with the bis/ask or buying $200 worth of shares above the ask to get s mall rally started. $500,000 is real money. Manipulators don't just have that kind of cash sitting around waiting to play games with.
