Eqbeck, never mind - I misread your post. You posted 1/2%(.54), not 1/2. My bad.
eqbeck, I see the Demensional Fund Advisors Inc. and their holdings are 1,431,797 shares. They sold (7800) shares for .54% of their holdings. Where do you get HALF of their holdings? What's up with your numbers?? Did I misread them? TIA
dfmantx, go to this link and put in Dallas (as an area to look at) and see the locations of MetroPC in the Dallas area. Pretty extensive. They are all over the place. So, it looks like a great roll out location to me, but I am not versed in all the details yet.

dfmantx, I grew up in Dallas and visit my daughter often. My question is why did you zero in on Richland Hills? That's just 1 outlet as I understand it. There are many stores all over the DFW complex, ie Duncanville, Euless, etc. Just curious why you specified Richland Hills, as if it was the only source and a bad area to launch the new caller program.
dfmantx: Where did you get or see the info about launching in North Richland Hills? TIA
Try the link below - different site than what you are looking at.

nerd, only difference is the BONY deal was a dump of 1.5MM shares with no buys. Admittedly I am a novice in trading and certainly a novice as to how MM's play their games. But, this flurry of action was concentrated and quickly over and the matchups in size just make me think the of the old word "manipulation". Again I hope I am wrong.
All the 4 large buys are matched and within .005 of each other. My guess would be that the MM's are trying to generate interest(buy/sell between each other), not actual buying going on. Hope I'm wrong but too suspecious looking for me.
cam_66, It's people with little vision that can't see an invention before it happens. After the plane was flown everyone could see the obivious, but before the flight, naysayers abounded. That's what separates a visionary or inventor from the average person. Who or what law says that only big companies have the answer to all the technical, complex engineering issues? A single person with a vision can solve a complex problem without the help of the Giants of Industry. GTEM may be that next company that gets the HAA prize, just like the Wright Brothers solved the complex issues of flight. It's so much easier to bash an idea rather than to develop it, thus the reason that so many are followers and not leaders.
Could be special accumulation for a favored buyer and the MM will ignore retail buyers. Retail will get filled when the MM are good and ready to do so. Remember, the Pinks are the Wild West in the trading game. All IMO.
Jim, are you out now? I don't plan on running and I don't think a lot of others are either. If you are out, we will miss your input from Germany.
GTEM Web Site home page has changed - added the Sanswire airship - same picture that's on the Sanswire Web Site. If this is old news, disregard.
Yes, saw that also - don't know what to make of it at this time. He may not be an Executive officer or that position may still be under consideration. Just a guess but who knows.
Appears that the Corporate Governance info has been posted back onto the GTEM Web Site.If this is old news disregard. Looks good and defines the purpose, functions and makeup of the audit committee and others.
sinful, We all feel the pain, but I want to try and look forward as it does no good to try and rehash the past. GTEM is under new mgt and I need to see what they can do. IMO
sinful, mr_schnizzle, Suspect they will add those things step by step during the testing phase in the next several months. At least we are seeing something on the Strat as opposed to the past blackouts. Bodes well for the new management team IMO, as it appears that they are at least trying to communicate with updates, albeit minor at this point but better that previous mgt.
Just added another new photo to the Sanswire site showing people around the HAA. Interesting picture. Actually it appears larger than I had envisioned even knowing the measurements.
My patents were issued in the late 60's, early 70's. Don't disagree with what you say, however, if I develop a gas lifting product with a working prototype, and file for my patent, say on Sep 12th, 2006. Prior to my filing some guy steals my idea and technology, files his patent on Sep 10th, 2006, then develops his protype a week later, who would receive the patent? I believe I would if I could produce proof of prototype development prior to the date that the guy stealing my idea filed for his patent, even though he filed first. I believe that is still the way it works, but you have more recent experience than I in this area.
Soma, you are correct. The date of the invention (provable) is the date of the protection, regardless of how long it takes to get the patent issued. If you file on Dec 12th 2003 and the patent issues May 10, 2008, you are protected as of Dec 12th, 2003 (earlier if provable). I hold several patents and have been through this procedure.
Danielle-, seems to me that is a really bright spot. And they increased their holdings by almost 550,000 shares, not chicken feed by any standards. And like you mentioned, in face of all that has happened. They must know something we don't as the current risks are not exactly a non-issue. So for them to invest an additional $150,000+ is a positive to me. Just IMO.
ShakeyGuy, If that's the case, ie all low buildings in Chihuahua, then it may well make a lot of sense that Hotzone could use all the pay phone booths(with pole extensions) as node locations.
DetTiger, or they could install a pole at the booths that have the node configuration on top. It probably depends on the city profile as to building height and building congestion/density. I feel however, that the booths are just an adjunct to the total system in Chihuahua and not intended to be node locations. But who knows. Just IMO.
cpmac, one thing that would possibly have caused Huff to step aside is if there are some questionable issues with the SEC, ie bad decisions as to old mergers, questionable deals in the past, etc. Not saying that any of this is true or real but could be an explanation of why he would step down right before a successful test completion in Mexico or Strat launch. Just a possibility and my opinion only.
crashtestsuperstar, the way I understand the Hotzone tech is that certain type buildings in the line of sight of transmission/receiving nodes can cause problems, thus the reason that each city is unique as to the way they set up the station nodes. Height is important as it apparently solves a lot of clutter issues and linking problems throughout the network area. The booths would be able to link into the network and some could possibly serve as nodes, but IMO they would not be ideal locations for the nodes throughout a city intallation as they would be too low and thus cause a lot of transmission/recieving concerns. If I recall this issue was addressed by the Hotzone management but I may be wrong.
crashtestsuperstar, the translation appears to be correct "800 COIN-OPERATED telephone BOOTHS", (pay phone booths). There is no way GTEM would foot the hugh expense of hard wiring an entire city, nor would the city of Chihuahua. So IMO, it has to be Hotzone linking these 800 booths into the entire city plan, which really makes sense if GTEM gets the go ahead on the JV to set up the city of Chihuahua with Hotzones. And the "premission" period to be granted to accomplish this is over 5 years, starting with 300. Has to be approved by their equivelent of our FCC,(COFETEL) but has been in the works since the town meeting presentation which took place on 07/20/06, according to the release that was posted by maybegte.
vkoenig, not a backward step if all the pay phones utilize the Hotzone technology, ie wireless pay phones. Everything fits into the Hotzone wireless concept. To me this is probably a deal that is in conjunction with using Hotzone throughout the city and the locals thought it might be nice to avail upon GTEM to add in the pay phones as a way to seal a deal. We'll see. Don't see any hard wiring issue but may be wrong. Have a good night.
siriuslyricher, I have sent the original article to someone that will translate it for me. I will post it when done. May take a while.
maybegte, my guess on the below would be that the city wants to install 800 pay phone booths in diverse locations around the city for using Globtel technology. What is not mentioned is whether Hotzone is involved, but my guess is that it would be. Also it appears that to get this plan to go forward, it has to be approved by the Secretariat of Communications and Transports to him and the Federal Commission of Telecommunications, COFETEL. As to the 2nd part, who knows! That's my GUESS!
Also in town hall session it was approved unanimously to install in the city of Chihuahua 800 telephone houses of currencies on the part of the Globetel company, same that will be located in diverse points to offer to the chihuahuenses one more an option in the scope of the telecommunications. The permission will be of five years and it will begin with 300 modules with the commitment to abstain to place publicity in these new telephone houses. The opinion was presented/displayed by the commissions of Property, Urban Development and Nomenclature and the one of Ecology, but he will be subject to the permission that grants the Secretariat of Communications and Transports to him and the Federal Commission of Telecommunications, COFETEL.
jfburk, agreed, but the Mexico deal may be a ways off and we may possibly be in surival mode for the next several months (thus mention in the COB letter Oct12th ref funding efforts in the next weeks etc). But I truly hope you are dead on and the Mexico deal comes in as anticipated by many. That would be the ultimate event at this stage as far as I am concerned.
And cookie, In addition, there is not 1 single startup young company that I am aware of that has not diluted it's stock when trying to survive and grow. That's the way they raise capital to get money to grow. So, I expect another 50MM-100MM share dilution at this stage to survive and try to grow into a solid company.
jfburk, I agree that few will sell their shares at these prices. The only way we will get out of this trading range, IMO, is for GTEM to release some kind of solid news. Otherwise, the MM's will play the waiting game and when the time is right a run will come. But, I don't think the MM's will be able to make a good run without retail involvement, so we may have to wait until GTEM gets their act together and moves the peanut forward with dollars in the bank news. Also, I am a novice in this arena, and just watch and try to learn.
That may also explain why we can't get fills on our buy orders, ie shares not there to trade and the MM's don't want to fill from their inventories. Had 2 orders in for 5K each at .28 and never got filled. Others mentioned the same situation.
siriuslyricher, thanks for reply. The last entire week has been very low volume. What does that mean to you? I cant' see short covering at this point. I think it's MM's playing back and forth between themselves trying to generate some interest but are unable to get any bites from retail. Just IMO.
miguellara, closed at .30
Lowtrade, since no settlements have been made in AH, your statement below means that we are getting ready for a short attack? Is that what you are implying? Otherwise what does "go naked" mean? TIA
If these blocks are swaps, watch for a settle at the EOD. If none comes, someone just decided to load up, and go naked. It happens. IMO
Hello DocS, read your post last night on the other board and if you need any assistance, let me know. As to the sp, we might as well all take a 6 month nap and check back in later(unless swing trading)as the MM's will play this stock for all they can suck out of it,penny by penny. Without some significant NR's we are all sitting here with nothing but pure hope, which is not always bad. I think GTEM needs to put out news as they promised in their Oct 12th letter to "Dear Fellow Shareholders". If they don't, then appears to be just more words to me, and I don't want to think like that. Just IMO.
nilremerlin, Thanks, wasn't sure. Am looking for the corporate governance page to be put back on the website. Hope they get it back on the site this week. Be interesting to see who is in what positions etc.
Is this a new addition to the Sanswire site under capabilities? Don't remember seeing this before but maybe just didn't notice.
The Sanswire 2 Airship platform will be used to test communication links to ground receivers within its footprint and allow Sanswire to also test relay signals to other airborne platforms, ground stations, and satellites. One key advantage over satellites is that the close-in operating altitude of the Stratellite platform means that less power will be required to transmit information from airships to end users on the ground. In addition, we will be able to demonstrate superior airborne communication capabilities to government and commercial customers, test our platform at the most extreme wind speeds and demonstrate our negligible latency compared to the 0.25 second delay for signals traversing a 45,000 mile ground-to-geosynchronous satellite round trip.
hogman_5, my understanding (which is very limited) is that the helium atom is very small thus the containment problem and the hydrogen atoms are much larger, thus not as much of a problem. Suspect Vern can add to this discussion.
nilremerlin, good point and really interesting that they have not attacked. But at .30, what's the point. Also, the GTEM web site is down and hopefully being updated.
