Last year the match was almost burnt to the end and flickering.
Now the pilot is lit and the gas is on.
“Let’s put a smile on that face!” And…Why so serious?
joker out
Westinghouse is a multi billion dollar company. They claim to be the worlds largest nuclear power supplier. They are owned almost entirely by toshiba, who is looking to sell a large portion. Projections for the nuclear industry are way down. Could they be entering solar in a big way like NRG?

Solar Industries Association commitment statement.
re read the guardian article. Andalay didn't fill out their survey so they blasted them. That is definitely not a quote from our new COO.
I can wait
Zep's revenue comes from the sale of hardware to support the Zep Groove mounting system, and to a lesser extent, from licensing. The firm's licensees include solar vendors such as Yingli Solar, Canadian Solar, Trina Solar, and ReneSola, some of which supply modules (and now license fees) to SolarCity.
good job
Tianwei?
from 10-K Q1 Andalay
In September 2013, we entered into a second supply agreement for assembly of our proprietary modules with Tianwei New Energy Co, Ltd. (“Tianwei”), a panel supplier located in China. We began receiving product from Tianwei in February 2014. Although we believe we can find alternative suppliers for solar panels manufactured to our specifications, our operations would be disrupted unless we are able to rapidly secure alternative sources of supply,[tag]insert-text-here[/tag]

"the next 3 years
would be about BoS (Balance of System) cost reduction - whi
ch includes the inverters, hardware,
customer acquisition and financing costs"
Installation is a big part of BoS.
The settlement is one of the things that really excited me about Andalay. All of a sudden they are chums, no harm done. Either Andalay was smart and cool in otherwise hard times, or they know something that they haven't revealed.
Sure am glad I got more at under .02.
Patience, this one will run on it's own
When I play Black Jack that way they ask me to leave.
http://www.pv-magazine.com/news/details/beitrag/solar-mogul-cheng-kin-ming-unveils-massive--multifaceted-clean-energy-initiative_100016600/
Cheng Kin Ming owns Shunfeng, who owns Suntech. Suntech is far from bankrupt. Cheng Kin Ming paid their debts and acquired them.
If Chan says he is excited, then so am I.
They are holding this close to the vest so far.
There are potential suitors for merger or acquisition that are much stronger than Westinghouse. Once again, where did Chan come from?
NRG and Suntech. Both are giant corporations seeking to acquire total solar technology and expertise. There are also clues to a tie with NSP solar.

looks very similar to the andalay panel
Where did Stephen Chan come from?
"practiced law in the New York office with focus on M&A, venture capital and public company work."
mergers and acquisitions, Eh?
Anybody know what Chan did between the time he left NRG and the time he arrived at Andalay?
Anybody have any good photos of NRG panels?
Something about NRG's website design looks familiar.
What it means for us is that the insiders including Chan think that if he does his job then the share price will much higher than .02.

Andalay is a high risk investment. The possibility of loss is great. Knowing this, I still view it as a value bet. (look it up).
I have an exit strategy that does not include selling at a loss. I can afford to lose it all, but believe that I won't.
Chan is paying .0192 per share for his 6 million options exercisable on november 6 0214. At current share price he is losing money. His relative lack of attention to the current share price could indicate that he is either not concerned or that he has given up. We are free to chose whichever until we have some real news.
Given what I have seen for CEO incentive plans I would say that Mr. Chan's expectations for this stock are considerably higher than .03.
Reduction for labor payments and claims made under the warranty
— (4,400 )
It appears that the escrow account is considerably overfunded.
As long as we are reading the quarterly report and drawing conclusions, here's something to ponder.
Pursuant to the New Equity Purchase Agreement and as provided in the Prior Equity Purchase Agreement, Southridge has committed to purchase up to $5,000,000 worth of our common stock
I'll guarantee that Southridge knows a whole lot more about the situation than we do. After analysis they decided to buy a lot of this stock. If they thought that Andalay was going under I doubt they would have entered into this agreement.
liabilities for discontinued operations, ie panel installation, is in the form of an escrow account in the amount of 931,773. This is to cover potential warranty issues on existing systems.
One thing is certain. This is not a typical penny stock. Our opinion will not affect the eventual stock price at all.
Yes, they have been close to bk for a long time, but somehow they have inventory and capital.
There is a very real possibility of a turnaround. The market and the world are ready for this product at this time. They have a seasoned and well connected team.
There are more subtle tells if you know what to look for. I don't know about a merger, but anything is possible
God didn't give you that 20%, it was me.
Good luck and see you back here later.
This patent is bigger than you know.
from Barry's resume on linkedin
Mr. Cinnamon ...
In 2001 he founded Akeena Solar – which grew to become the largest national residential solar installer by the middle of the decade. He partnered with Westinghouse to create Westinghouse Solar in 2010, and merged the company with CBD Energy in 2012.
Most of the Andalay team have popped up on Linkedin.
take a look at the newly promoted Roger Pang. Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
"Experienced closer with business development, sales, sales management and account management and operations experience. Proven hunter and manager.
Experienced in hiring, training and building successful sales teams in all aspects of sales: lead generation, client mapping, relationship building, inside sales development, cold calling, follow-up, strategic selling, account management and complex sales strategy.
Experienced with customizing CRM systems for reporting and analysis to achieve optimum team performance."
How or why does someone like this get promoted.
Is this quote from Margaret Randazzo's Linkedin account a mistake?
The merger terminated in July 2013 and was responsible for rebuilding company’s core business, expanding product offerings and pursuing strategic opportunities.
Whatever happened with the confidential settlement between Zep Solar and Westinghouse?
Why do the websites of all these companies look alike?
Is there a hidden hand in this from China?
There has been neither pump nor dump.
I'm not sure what to think. That's why I asked the questions. I think the connections are probably in the past. I was hoping that someone could dig up some facts. Even so, my 193000 are in for the long. I have personally seen what can happen when the right people are paired with the right product. If they survive they will prosper.
EEG in oxenford Queensland claims to be the exclusive manufacturer of Westinghouse Solar panels.
There is a Westinghouse solar, a subsidiary of CBD with offices in four Australian cities. They say this about the panels. made in China by Fortune 500 company China Southern Group.
This is what they say for themselves. "For over 125 years, the Westinghouse name has stood for reliability and innovation. Our knowledge is derived from a rich heritage, developing secure energy solutions that have made a positive impact on millions of people’s lives."
How are these connected, if at all?
How are they connected to Andalay?
If they are using Andalay proprietary racking and quick connect is Andalay licencing them and receiving a royalty?
That is EEG's current data sheet. It is Andalay's with only the name changed.
If you read the president's executive actions on solar it is apparent that he has been influenced by Barry's drive to reduce permiting costs. There are big things afoot. What is Andalay's role. This is big time stuff and a little company like Andalay could get steam rolled pretty easily.

here's some of the copy
The Westinghouse Solar PV modules are offered in two configurations; the top of the range DC module and the full plug and play AC module with incorporated micro-inverter and mounting system through the Westinghouse. The Electric plugs are integrated into the module frame eliminating wiring and providing automatic grounding.
