Oh, so now Dan O'Connor is reading the message board along with the Board of Directors? Who knew...Again, I say, if you are so concerned, why do you not contact the Board of Directors or the CEO instead of posting the same thing over and over?
What, you think the board of directors is reading this message board? If you feel that strongly about it why don't you contact them instead of posting the same thing over and over...
Added some this morning, and just bought again. Loaded with shares. These prices seem too good to be true if you are looking to buy....
I see the "investigation" as good news. At least one of the shorts is wanting to cover. I would not be surprised to see a hit piece to go along with it. Shorts are gradually covering, and share price increase should follow...
Low today 7.77...
That is good info. Thanks for posting...
Somebody taking a nice sized position here (or adding) and are not worrying much about how much they pay. Hope it keeps up...
Well said...If I had a dollar for every time "erode shareholder value" has been said I would be all set. It gets old.
Adage sold out of 97 other company's stock but did not sell any shares of ADXS.
Adage 13F is out. They are holding strong with 5,939,366 shares. They did sell out of 97 stocks and reduced their holdings in 279 more, so I find it encouraging they have not sold a single share.
Thanks for posting that link. Sometimes it is easy to forget that there are real people (in this case young girls) who are suffering enrolling in these clinical trials. Of course I want Anavex to succeed because it will benefit my finances. But even more importantly, I want Anavex to succeed to help make the world a better place...
Fbg, you never answered the question. Why don't you sell if you think CEO is a liar and a thief? There are at least a thousand other bios out there with promising science and "honest" CEOs. And why do you repeat the same thing over and over? What does that accomplish? It is bashing, you know.
I don't get that either. Why stay invested if you think management are liars and thieves? No normal person would, which is why I think there is more to the story there. Trying to buy back in? Actually went short? Whatever is going on it is past old and I hope people start to see through it for what it is?
I agree losing the shorts is critical. Those institutions shorting are not stupid, nor are they without resources. I think that one of the reasons the short % is staying so high is that they are continuing to short to keep the price down. In some ways, I am happy to see the price down in the 7's. It gives them a chance to cover, at least some of their shares. I would like to see more volume to allow more to cover. True short squeezes are rare, but do happen. If you are long, this share price is uncomfortable, but hopefully temporary. A good time to add, in my opinion. Of course, I have been wrong before, but ADXS has a lot going for it...
Nice post. Thanks...
Excellent news! Seems as though the company is back on track. Contemplating adding...
I agree with you. Not a fan of the FDA at all. Just seen many decisions made by them that defy logic and stink of corruption. It is not like the women in that trial were healthy-most were on death's door and halting the trial when they did likely cost some lives. Now the delay in getting the drug approved will likely cost some more women their lives.
Your comments are helpful. Thanks...
I am glad to see ADXS on the list. I happen to own my own business and do you know how I keep a good employees? I pay them well. I pay them more than they can make elsewhere. I try to be as generous as I can possibly be. And that employee in turn works hard and is loyal, and others want to work with me. So, I have no problem with DOC spending money on employees. It really is a must. I'm sure there are other metrics to make the list as well besides compensation. Would you rather the company make the list for "worst companies to work for"?
FBG, I share your frustration over share price, but hang tough. Patience will be rewarded-better days are ahead...
Nice day today. Up 8% on high volume. Start of a run, I hope? IDRA has so much potential if all goes well...
Baird initiates coverage of IDRA with Outperform rating and $5 price target. Good news, certainly. Hard to believe that this caused the flurry of aftermarket activity, but I'll take it....
You better be get your grammar better, too.
Interesting that those targeted were all doctors. Not sure what to make of it...
Very clear signal. DOC is not stupid, however. I would think that he is as disappointed as us shareholders at the current price. After all, he owns a bundle, and has bought many shares out of his own pocket. I really don't entirely place the blame on him for the share price, but you do have a point that, ultimately, it is his responsibility to provide a return on investment for shareholders. Overall, he has done some things well and has made some mistakes also. I am glad that the story is not over. If the science is what we believe it is, it is only a matter of time before we are rewarded. I have been in since 2012-I am willing to wait a bit longer...
The vote for additional shares for the incentive plan was pretty close-roughly 10 million votes for and 8 million votes against. That has to send a message to DOC that many shareholders are a bit unhappy...
Great post. Thanks for taking the time to give us your thoughts...
FBG, have you called DOC and talked to him about your concerns that he is dishonest and milking shareholders?
I would not be surprised if Justice and Equality reads this board and just does not post-he had a most amazing ability to write in a way that allowed me to better understand the science and I was sorry to see him step away. Pretty weird how Chinaman just disappeared- I am pretty sure Bourbon knows what happened to him but he ain't saying...
That is one great post Thank you. The DOC bashing gets old. I can understand people voicing their negative opinion on our CEO, but to do it over and over and over is so tiresome. I can say that I have owned 50 or more small biotechs in my lifetime and every single one of them has issued shares to raise money, most after good news. I am more comfortable with ADXS having millions in the bank and more shares issued than the reverse scenario. I think DOC has done a nice job. At least he did not dilute when we were in the $3s or $4s. For the life of me I cannot understand how somebody can feel as though a company's management is immoral, greedy, and detrimental to the stock's price, yet still continue to hold. Sell and buy something else, like an ETF... Well, enough of my ranting...
Great news! This is the big benefit of partnering with big pharma like Amgen. The FDA takes you more seriously making it easier to get a drug approved. Also, you have a sales/distribution network already in place. And the money does not hurt, either. Really looking forward to watching this story continue to unfold...
Thank you for taking the time to research executive compensation and for sharing it with the board. It seems our CEO may not be so bad after all. In fact, it seems as though he is somewhat extraordinary in accepting shares over cash.
I think many are just looking for a punching bag to take out their frustrations over the share price, and DO is the chosen target. Others (myself included, at times) tend to be easily influenced and are swayed into thinking the CEO is a greedy villain and should be replaced. It is refreshing to see an opinion backed by facts.
In my opinion, the low share price and corresponding low market cap have nothing to do with the whole issue of excessive compensation for management. The bottom fell out of biotechs in general last year and ADXS suffered along with the rest. Several bios I own have not recovered nearly as well as Advaxis.
That is interesting. Thanks for posting.
FBG, you are a smart guy and certainly one of the most informed posters on this board. I have nothing against you. Just letting you know that you posting the same old disgruntled posts concerning the CEO gets old, and I feel is counterproductive to the share price. Perhaps it is your way of venting? I will say that I do not care for his share grabbing myself, but I do not believe that this is the reason for the share price staying low. I currently own 10 biotechs, and I think every single one of them has been manipulated, some more than others. Many have not recovered nearly as much as ADXS after the biotech meltdown. Is DO greedy for wanting to reward himself with so many shares? I would say yes, but that is not necessarily a bad character trait to have in a CEO. Hopefully, that characteristic will benefit all of us in the long run.
Adage filing is out. They still hold 5,939,366 shares of ADXS, and did not sell a single share. The did, however, sell out of 92 positions and reduced their stake in 350 total stocks. IMO, just continuing to hold is a vote of confidence for Advaxis.
Hey, finally an optimistic post amid the doom and gloom. Yes it sucks that the share price has dropped this low, but I for one have not given up on PCFG. Their communication stinks and it ticks me off that they won't answer e-mails or keep us, the part owners of this company, informed. However, as it has been said, the two main shareholders have a huge stake here and PCFG has really been through a lot of diversity to get to this point-a producing gold miner with other prospects on the horizon.
So, although I am not adding another share unless communication improves (I have averaged down three times so far-enough is enough) I also refuse to sell my shares down at these prices. I have to believe that management is not as inept as many are claiming them to be. I listened to the conference call and was impressed with the overall answers and presentation. Guess I'm just betting that they pull this off...
I love to see a stock trade like this! Healthy consolidation at this level = nice gains once MIKP takes off again.
11 milllion plus on the bid and nobody selling...
Sure can't complain about a 40% gain in one day...
Pretty exciting, really. I enjoy owning part of a gold mine that is going into production. Looking forward to the survey samples, then following the company into production and seeing production rates.
Agreed. Lots of potential for GDSM. I plan on holding a core position, personally. May sell a few on the way up, and may buy a few on the way up as well. Lots of catalysts for GDSM to move price higher.
