1260,
Think about what you are saying....someone is accumulating and therefore the stock is down so they can do that? Then, when the buying from this BIG INVESTOR dries up, the stock price will rise? Why? Oh, yeah, because there will be no buyers, therefore it must go up?
Please, re-read what you wrote and think about it!
CPA
vader,
Too much selling for me to be wrong!
LOL
Don't you understand that for every buy there is a sell?
CPA
vader,
What is really going on is people running for the hills, as they should. Maybe its the institutions dumping?
CPA
Jas,
The hype is in the timeline of when all this is going to happen. The 4th qtr. revenues prove that. It is going to roll out way slower than was, and, IMHO, is currently predicted. Not the TPM's, the software. THERE IS THE HYPE!!!
Wave cannot afford the timeline, period! The stock price shows this. Financing is again inevitable. Delisting, IMHO is inevitable.
It IS going to get uglier before it gets better, if ever.
CPA
cosmo,
You are correct. Nobody can predict the exact highs or lows. However, 20% decline is far from buying at the low.
This call was an easy one.
CPA
cmf,
Thank you.
I feel bad for the innocent longs who have taken in by all the hype. However, it was inevitable.
CPA
cosmo,
You said it was a great buy at .67 two days ago. Since then, the stock fell 19%. That is a real loss my friend.
It is a pump and dump. Those who bought at .51 this morning are up 6% in a few hours. Now they can dump and make a nice profit. Many I'm sure will.
It will hit the 40's either later today or tomorrow morning. Mark my words.
CPA
Things tent to go in the same diection until something compelling comes along to change it. Lower higns and lower lows are not helping Wave out.
This is going to be very sick for the next week or two, IMHO.
CPA
I was asked why I didn't participate in the last financing. I responed that I found it too risky with a 60 day lockup. I was called crazy and told I should have taken it.
Well, looks like I was correct to stay away.
This is uglier than I even thought it would be.
Where and how are they going to get financing now? It looks like even the Wavoids are running for the hills.
CPA
ps, pathetic, just pathetic.
COSMO,
It hasn't. What I'm saying is that you'll call it a good buy when it gets there. I believe you'll call it a good buy the day before they file for bankruptcy. This is not meant as a shot at you. I just think you are convinced of success no matter what the 1/4lys look like.
CPA
cosmo,
As was .72, .67, .58 and will be at .50, .48 and .40
CPA
Have you ever heard of the Army buying a $500 toilet seat cover? The Army is NOT THE REAL WORLD!!! They waste millions on tanks, jets, ect...that congress never approves and are never built. 300 thousand is what they find in the couch cushions.
CPA
go-kite,
A three year deal with NO MINIMUMS!!!!! If the technology doesn't catch on (like Beta didn't), Dell and every other OEM will drop it like a hot potato, end of story.
Until (if) the technology catches on, more dilution, lower stock price and loss of your hard earned money. The only smart play is to be on the sidelines watching and looking in.
CPA
Jaybeaux,
Why do you call it venom? You yourself have come very close to admitting that I have been right to this point. All I'm doing is calling it like I see it and for the most part have been correct? Just because you don't like the message does not mean I have bad intentions.
The problem with many Waveoids is that they take what I say as a personal attack. IT'S NOT! Open your eyes, see the light. Step slowly into the light! It's bright on this side.
CPA
Jaybeaux,
To make money, just like you. You CAN make money by not being a long.
Another serious question back....Why do you continue to hold when each conference call and financing brings the stock price lower? The longs said things like this when the stock was at 72 cents "what a buying opportunity", "won't get these prices again". Can't you see that the success of Wave, if it is ever going to happen, is a year or two away from beginning? The stock is going to take major hits between now and then. You could sell today and buy back way more shares in 6 months. You yourself just admitted you think the stock is headed lower. Are you that in love with Wave?
CPA
rockcards,
Yes he did. However that is two financings away. And, even at that rate, you are far from breakeven and therefore, more financing, lower share price and eventual delisting.
SKS has also been overly optimistic in the past. Why do you think that has changed? Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.
CPA
Jaybeaux,
SKS couldn't afford me!!!
Why do you think I have fears? I don't own the stock!!! The fall today is going to hurt you, not me. Or, do you think the stock is going up today? (A serious question.)
CPA
weets,
Many of the machines are going to people like me. I'm not turning the software on. If you didn't know what a TPM was, you wouldn't even know (or care) that you have on in the machine.
You are making the 50 million machines into way bigger a deal than it really is.
CPA
helpful,
You are correct. Although I doubt Wave will be there when it happens in earnest.
CPA
awk and all,
Here is the problem.
Wave put out an official press release with (finally) some numbers attached. However, those numbers have more holes in them than I care to count. SKS says positive things on the call about those numbers, but, adds that adoption rates could be as low as 1% or as high as 40%. So, what you have is no guideance (not necessarily SKS's fault).
So, what you are left hanging your hat on is the 4th qtr. actual black and white numbers. You have to ask yourself, 'why did revenues only go up $13,000?'. I'll tell you why....because adoption is slow, sloth slow.
50 million chips in three years? Okay, I'll buy that. However, the numbers will have that hockey stick curve you guys like to refer to, low for the next year and ramping up in year three.
Where does this leave Wave? I'll tell you! Going to the well quarter after quarter with the stock price diminishing with each dip into the money pool. Also, even if the delisting doesn't occur in April, I'm sure it will 180 days later.
In conclusion, until the adoption ACTUALLY happens, there is NO COMPELLING REASON TO OWN THIS STOCK at this price, IMHO. After hours trading supports this theory. The stock will trade in the low to mid 50 cents today and I think you will see the 40's by mid next week.
The death spiral has begun.
CPA
Um, so I'm trying to have the Waveoids own the whole company, because no one else will fund us.....
CPA
LOL, he sounded very nervous with that question.
trustcousa,
I don't know, I think mine have been right on.
CPA
Pathetic, just pathetic!!!
Revenue increase of $13,000.
Bar pushed back to "sometime in 2007".
Adoption will be slow by their own admission. 50 million units over THREE YEARS!!!
This sounds like financing every 3 months for the next 3 years.
The stock will be at 50 cents or less by the end of tax season, IMHO.
CPA
Not much in the line of revenues either!
CPA
Yes, it was. I dumped all mine at 6.25. Took a hit, but still made money overall.
I'll watch it and buy on the rebound, which I think will happen Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning. I'll only hold it for a quick bounce.
CPA
kant,
Yes, that is correct. I was once one of the longest of longs and held shares from 60 cents in 1997 right through to the high of $50 and then back down to $8. I was buying all the way up. Was on marging and got killed on the decline. From $8 down to where it is today, I've been a trader. This has allowed me to recoup some of those losses from when I was a long.
I turned into a trader by necessity. I turned into a disbeliever a year or so after I became a trader.
I hope that is adequate history for you. If not, ask away. I've NEVER hidden my position, intentions or beliefs.
CPA
matt25,
I have on occasion announced when I bought and then when I've sold. I have not done that each time, and I have not made money each time either. However, I have made money about 80% of the time. Overall I have made money (not including the huge hit from the loss in 2000) by playing the stock.
CPA
go-kite,
I'm sure they can raise money at .46, then .38 then .25 ....You get the picture.
CPA
rosie,
I've been around for over 9 years. Was HEAVLY invested. Lost alot, an very bitter (according to longs here), hate the spragues( also according to the longs, because I've claimed SKS has lied). Also made alot playing it ever sense.
CPA
kant,
I guess what I'm saying is this....for those who say I'm an idiot (and there are many of you) for not staying invested, for not believing....I've been right so far. No hindsight required. I've called it right for 5 years now.
CPA
Weby,
Yes, it could. But it would pull back to 2 over the next week or so. I'd buy on the pullback.
CPA
go-kitesurf,
I'm not argueing with your point. In fact I agree. However, Wave doesn't have that much time, IMHO.
CPA
snackman,
But the longs claim govt. is the thing that will get the whole thing started. If it takes them a long time, where does that leave Wave?
CPA
Snackman,
Point well taken.
You point out exactly why I think Wave is not the place to be in the short term. The article points out that this may take years before it is truely adopted.
How many more trips to well are left? How much more dilution? Each trip brings a lower offering price and subsequently a lower share price.
Why own this stock until the bleeding is over? I see no compelling reason.
The longs have argued that "you never know when it is going to pop with a press release". That arguement has been made for years now. It was being made when the stock was at $2.00.
Imagine how many more shares you would own if you sold then and bought back in now....or a month from now.
Please, someone, tell me why I'm wrong. As of right now, I just can't see it.
CPA
I thought it was the whole next decade.
If it is as good as the last decade that was theirs, they are all going to be very rich!
CPA
Hey snackman,
Go back and READ what I said. I said if it closed below support of .62. It didn't close below .62, so I guess I'm off the hook on that one.
I still stand by today's prediction.
March is mine! (sound familiar?)
CPA
Lower highs and lower lows. This stock looks very sick to me.
I bet it breaks through the .585 barrier today.
CPA
Me too. That is what makes this such a great place to be.
CPA
cosmo,
What is it that you see that pleases you? The price dropping when you are long?
I don't understand, seriously.
CPA
cmf,
I see .55 by the end of the week. That is an 11.3% drop. Significant IMHO.
For those who don't believe in the charts, guess again. Unless there is compelling news to drive it the other direction, the charts are rarely off.
