I understand your fondness for joking! These boards are way to solemn. Now your source is Wikipedia? - that's amazing. Never thought of them having a sense of humor, or can they be they be serious? I suppose since the Web can apparently teach us how to make chloroform or blow up Fort Knox, it's only a short step to informing us how to cook each other. The recipes seem fairly routine .... think I can handle them! Add a little Belize hot sauce?
So ....! This explains a lot! It's a well-known fact of course that cannibalism, a favorite diet in Belize, promotes exceptional brain power especially in the area of finance. Taxonomic indications include acute insight and total courage of conviction. Now we know how you came to be a billionaire I'm all the more anxious to learn the result of your current sagacious DD. Happy Barbie on the 4th! Serious admiration and LOL.
Many Thanks to my respondents - Your excellent explanations of gap-filling dynamics make everything as clear as .... mud. Think I'll stick with Boyle's Vacuum myself which is about as nonsensical as the myth itself. Curious how often it happens when there can be no plausible reason for it. Makes one wonder who's in charge of things around here, don't it? Are the MM computers programmed to tell each other - "Wait now, This bucket's got a hole in it! Until it's mended no-one get's more Beer ..." Oh well, just so long as we don't need to go back to fill .0 to .05!
Can someone please explain a logical reason why gaps have to fill? The dictum seems completely absurd however well founded in experience. Boyle's Law do you suppose - Nature abhorring a vacuum?
Thanks Belize. I believe everything you say and applaud your thoroughness. Among many, I think, I look forward to reading your conclusions in due course, one way or the other, it doesn't matter - although I'm hoping for positive results.
Speaking of DD, Belize, how's the research into your new interest going? Please don't keep us in suspense too long. A positive prospect would be very welcome while WDRP continues to languish inb the doldrums, and as usual your leadership will be much respected.
Too many dazzling hopes in the air, not enough plain facts on the ground. Easily corrected by regular simple information. For reasons unknown (?) seems to be the inescapable pink environment.
Right on, Cap'n! We were moving forward nicely till we met a speed limit and red light waiting for the permits. When they were issued the signal turned to green, but insted of accelerating the driver stalled. So much news awaited: Repeat OXY sales, #'s 2 & 3, naptha LoI, JV roll out program, secret smile, etc etc. Steady release of updated info is needed continue progress.
Of course that's the need. But commando raised an important subject which has not seen much attention here. Like him, I was asking what was known about the Company strategy and intentions. I wondered if anything had been said at the AGM which has not been noted. Post permit expansion brings processor production to the fore, and I understand that JBII is to finance all of them - for JVs as well as its own use. Just asking for facts - no criticism implied.
Good. I don't doubt it. But it's a fair question to ask how it's to be done because magic won't help.
I was going to post the same question when I read commando's post. 5 weeks means 10 per year, so that takes a while to reach 2000. There will need to be a huge factory and assembly line - where? how financed? etc. Incidentally commando is also spot on asking for facts only. Enthusism is great but the board is getting overloaded with idle speculation. I used to read every post - now it's hard to find enough time to scan the headlines and sort the trees from the wood.
Happy B-day clever lady!
A prepared technical information release is a necessary tool, and you are right to propose it if it does not exist. All the same you can bet that Reporter/Editor/Typesetter errors will inevitably creep in. Unfortunately you can't believe much of what you read or hear because the media never get all their facts right.
Correction - my error regrding date. Thought the quote was from 09.
"Management also wishes to dispel and comment on certain questions and conspiracy theories brought to our attention by investors surrounding the company."
Thanks for a good chuckle this morning! Can't you just picture them camped out in their tents in Florida and Ontario 'laying seige' to the Company staff and offices? Unfortunately 07/10 was before my time or I'd have joined the fun with my crossbow ... Sorry all - just couldn't resist making fun of this classic 'misspeak'. I know I've said it too many times already, but - Dear Mr. Martel, please hire yourself a professional PR writer!
2ez - Thank you for your apology which I accept. Memory can betray one all too easily! I wish I had known of WDRP at its previous low levels and envy your good fortune. I had not discovered Ihub either back in those days, but have enjoyed the contacts it has brought me with some friends and a few enemies who have disliked my constant criticism of WDRP's garbled PR bs. I truly believe that management does itself a disservice in failing to communicate simply and clearly. There would be no need now for expensive news-letter promotion if they had explained the position instead of going dark so long and reiterating undelivered promises. What is the point of of IR if all it can do is repeat 'soon'? And thanks Rikki for your message - sorry I can't pm without an email address. I remain hopeful that WDRP will overcome its beginnings despite the many 'whys?' which remain unresolved. Sorry - my second and final post today.
2ez - A ton of money, eh? I could not reply immediately as for reasons unexplained I am limited to two posts daily. You are evidently ignorant of the pps history following the release of the big pump PR. WDRP was instantly among the top rising stocks of the day, and I could not get filled before .0295. If my math is right my profit at yesterday's closing bid is .0015, or 1.50 per thousand shares, and I am not a whale like Belize but a very little fish. I give you the facts to show you the importance of knowing what you are talking about before making incorrect imputations even though my personal story has no relevance to Gatz's big question - WHY were huge claims made for a product which did not exist? You say it was to accord with the Licensing Agreement... But that imho validates nothing since without a product everything was mere fantasy. And the same consideration applies of course to the sales LoIs which could not possibly be completed when there was nothing to sell. Gatz now says the water heater begins to look more real, and I hope he is right. All the same his BIG QUESTION deserves a better answer than a few facile words which overlook the basic cause for mistrust which the Company itself or its promoters created, and which remains the cause of WDRP's lamentable performance in the market. Isn't it sad, eh, that great ideas make no-one rich without substance?
They certainly made it sound as if there was not only a product but that it had won a prestigious award for innovation.I believed it, I was excited and bought shares, and I have been now been waiting almost eighteen months and still can only guess WHY such a claim was made because it clearly had no justification at the time. Something to do with a previous investor/partner/whatever wanting a good price to get out? Oh well, live and learn. Who can tell whether perhaps there really will be a heater to supply those massive contracts one day, some day?
I ordered a sample pack offered on a web site (forget which) some weeks ago. Received no acknowledement and no product.
Fair question. Can anyone make head or tail of that classic WDRP sentence? If so, please enligten us with its meaning.
Hi BRIGG - Do you think your Spingle may invert the old maxim? May we see 'Sell on tne Rumor, Buy on the News'? C'mon thar that Fluke - Git kraken, Baby!
I will for one.
"The results of said evaluation will be actively shared with engineering partners and assimilated into future designs and models. Further to this, Wanderport expects Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) to accomplish the following:"
How many grammatical errors, excess words and muddled expressions can you count in this classic little passage?
Very good - let's hope so! - but more difficult to pronounce! Let's go with SHMOO - anyone remember Al Capp? - and MOOMOO for the multiple chamber.
How do we say SCMHU - SHMOO?
The cost of profssional services has been posted here previously by others as very modest. Talk of 20m is absurd and PRIMA has one 'm' not two. Many may admire your persistent enthusiasm through thick and thin, but I don't think we'll give the drafting job to you. You underestimate the importance of good communication because you cannot tell the difference between good and bad.
Positive PR - but PlEASE WDRP, for the Nth time, hire a professional who can write simple English. The usual labored sentence construction makes even good news look suspect, and results in an unflattering and amateurish image for the Company. Little things count a lot when you want to creata a competent public impression.
Cap'n Gort - art thou sleeping down below? Time to wake the Kraken with a fat spingle for breakfast?
Can you please elucidate for dummies? I cannot see what you see so clearly without simple explanation.
4 - can you please comment on this morning's action? Hope my email did not get junked.
Fourkids - Had to smile! - My abbreviations meant 'please private message your email address'. Nothing to do with adding jbii - though I will be doing that within my meager limits. I wanted to reply to your pm to thank you for it. My email is clucas2000@hotmail.com if you would like to make contact again. Regards. Cyril Lucas, or exogyra.
fourkids - Hope you noticed ps to post 105106. Thanks for yours anyway.
Bold and clear! Seems very possible and welcome as opportunity.
I fully understand the impossibility here. Was only teasing when I said neither could tell us anything with certainty tomorrow. But everyone seems convinced about the trend - except the shorty denizens of 4's chasm, and they may not be in doubt much longer. Thanks 4 - sorry can't PM. Pl adv e-m add.
It is very interesting to follow the 'controversy' - if that's the appropriate word - between fourkids and Estimated P because in principle the only difference between them seems to be the scope of the influence of shorting on daily market movement. In modern practice shorting has become almost a 'fundamental' factor in itself, and 4's detailed analysis of daily operations puts its effects under a microscope. It does not contradict basic causes for a stock's movement - if I understand correctly - but studies the result of a particular factor on fluctuations. I believe that in ancient days shorting was not permitted and simple fundamentals ruled price performance directly. (It took 3 days or so to register the paper involved in any transaction, imagine that!)
Is'nt the difference between the theories a matter of micro and macro views? The only problem is that, sadly, neither one can tell us what will actually happen before it happens on Monday morning!
Four -Thanks again for your response and I look forward to reading your posts on Monday! I don't trade either. Can't decide if I'm hoping for buying opportunity more than I enjoy watching the climb! What you are saying about the shorts' chasm is v. exciting.
Four - Just got home to read your most informative message. I see by the response that many besides me are extremely grateful for your time and trouble in posting in such detail. I'm very glad I posed my question and Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge: it's invaluable.
Please forgive one further question - one of your messages yesterday, I think the one about 'cracking', used the word 'chasm' in relation to Monday's opening. That normally suggests -"deep fissure" is the Oxford definition i.e. a fall. But I don't think that is your expectation because your other messages suggest any break will be upward, subject to ususal market upheavals and machinations of course. Ta again!
Does seem to resemble the dreaded Scott in wild language. If so, it's the first time I ever agreed with him. There can be no argument that wdrp performance has been deplorable since the announcement sixteen months ago of huge sales orders for their product - which did not and still does not exist. There are two possible reasons for the astounding delays. First it does not work, Second Robert Simoneau has personal reasons why he does not want to bring it out - which he has no intention of revealing. My sympathy goes to Mr. Martel who has consistently tried to be straightforward with shareholders and - as yesterday - has respected dates advised for information release. Without support from a 'partner' (?) who provides him with none and cares nothing for commitments to despised shareholders, he has now been obliged to write a personal apology to us. I thank him for it. But the necessity is hardly solid confirmation that all is well on board the ship! I wish I could see the lifeboat - or the cavalry - on the horizon! Oh - and sympathy too to distributor Dave and and minion Andrew who suffer directly from the whims of the tyrant inventor.
fourkids - Your extremely valuable posts are "awesome" as someone said and I read them with the closest attention and respect. The problem is that I am sometimes unable to understand what they mean because your shorthand abbreviations and expertise result in obscurity for readers less familiar with market technicalities than yourself. At the same time as thanking you for your contribtions may I, with the greatest respect, please request a little greater clarity for the sake of dummies like me? Thanks for what you do.
Tying jbii permits into complicated legislation appears adverse rather than positive. The bill could involve months of delay or never be approved. And of course contracts can include contingency provisions. But the simple need is for approval so fuel sales can take place. I am not being obstructive - simply see this as basic practical requirement needing all possible pressure for earliest clearance. jbii application stands on its own merits and all possible support (including White House?)needs to be energised.
imho Permits are critical first requirement before contracts can be signed. NY shareholders could/should pressure state senate and bureaucrats for approval grants.
