As we approach the new deadline for becoming current I would expect AFYG to begin leaking rumors that it won't be met and that it will take just a bit longer.
The fat lady left the building two years ago so disillusioned she couldn't belt out a single note.
No it's not, however if you take the price action since the missed deadline and combine it with the overall dismal nature of the conference calls, inexorable is very much in play.
I heard nothing in any of the conference calls that I haven't heard in every other penny stock pump. This is a movie I have seen too many times to not know the ending with a high degree of confidence.
Speaking of confidence, you can hear it rushing out of this stock like movie goers exiting a burning theatre.
What I see here based on price action and disappointing conference calls is the inexorable decline to my predicted .02 or below by the end of the month.
Actually no. Most of the time in these pennies there are investors with inside information who are very enthusiastic until they begin to peel back the layers to find the rot that lies beneath. You can almost hear the air when it comes out of their balloon. They are telling us something if we are willing to listen.
I see we have touched the fours today on volume as some have seen the hand writing on the wall and are exiting.
In reaction to the staggering decline in public investor confidence, I am reducing my forecast for the probability of AFYG becoming fully reporting by EOM to just 3%. If conditions change, I will update my forecast.
I guess you didn't get the memo, nobody cares.
If you look at the price action since AFYG mysteriously rose from the ashes, who has been more accurate on AFYG's fortunes, the bulls or the bears? It's not even close.
My forecast still calls for .02 by the end of the month or sooner if the current in regulatory filings are not achieved, dribbling to sub pennies soon thereafter. I see a 5% probability this does not happen. AFYG.
Thin line of bids defending the .03 level. Let me guess, this is a good thing, time to load up for the push to dollars.
In my opinion there is little else to do here at AFYG but sit tight, it's too late to exit and there are lottery odds that it will pull through. Look at your shares as lottery tickets, that's the reasonable outlook.
If you will forgive the observation but it appears the statement that "At this point this board is irrelevant" does not seem to have lasted the afternoon.
I am going to take credit for driving the board back to relevance.
I do have to admit that seeing a fresh coat of Krylon on a 19th century rail car has to have new investors in an absolute tizzy.
In reviewing the AFYG conference calls and the corresponding price action, I see a clear decline in investor confidence despite the occasional display of public bravado. I've seen this many times before and it portends poorly for the future. Even a relatively small market order would collapse the price at this point which is likely why you are not seeing it.
Does anyone have a picture of the Affinity World Headquarters? I may be down to Maple Grove later this spring and thought I could drop by and meet Corey and the crew. Best I can tell they are in the Homestead Corner strip mall but aren't on the sign. Could they possibly be located between Sonny's Nails and Weigh Watchers?
Well, at least we know what the market thinks of the conference call.
Spam Let's also try and remember this TOU element going forward.
Posting the same or almost identical post more than twice within a calendar day
TOU Reminders for Stock Specific Boards
•You are posting to the Affinity Gold Corp. (AFYG) board. Please keep your post about the stock and company. Do not post about other users or other stocks.
Well, let's check out what the market thinks of all this astounding pounding resounding news. Should be up 30% plus on huge volume by the end of the day. If not, that's a real bad sign.
If you gave each one of those guys either a pick or a shovel I would be more impressed.
It seems like the sagging investor confidence sentiment index is holding AFYG back these days.
Let's get the AFYG trading moving this morning, pick this up while it's still cheap and those wheelbarrows are running smooth.
If the AFYG ore car rail system is not working, how are they getting the ore out, in their pockets? What do you think the total value of that ore might be to date, about a buck fiddy?
Here's a new question for Corey at the upcoming conference call.
Since you pretty much have indicated that becoming a fully reporting company is not going to happen by the end of the first quarter, what is your new projected estimate for achieving this?
If you don't give us a new target date that pretty much puts some very nervous investors in limbo regarding this very important milestone.
If others have good questions, post them up to we can have a meaningful call at the end of the month.
I agree but AFYG has been getting pumped real hard since last fall. They indicated they would become current by the end of the first quarter this year but are already saying there could be a delay. I see the delay as most likely stretching indefinitely as they milk what's left of the pump. Thanks for looking at it.
Janice, you seem very adept at smoking out the stink pinkies, what is your opinion on AFYG? Thanks much.
Well glad to clear up the fact that that frequently posted picture is nothing but a broken down old mine. The Lost Dutchman maybe?
Well I had the impression you two were pretty tight. That picture has been posted here many times, which mine is it supposed to be from?
Enough with the strawmen, I said very visable gold not bricks. My opinion is that photo is pure BS.
You don't think they are wanting people to believe there is very visable gold all over that picture or are they just showing off the wood beams.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, this could just be a Munger Muddle Burble Blip.
Secco, what did full disclosure Corky say about the gold on the mine floor and all those big yellow trucks? Are those pictures real depictions of AFYG assets?
I cannot help but conclude this was directed toward me personally by Corey.
"I want to especially thank all of those who continue to ask the hard questions,"
Ask him what he did with all that gold laying on the floor and which mine that picture came out of.
We could see .20 if they become current with their filings at the end of this month. I put that possibility at 10%.
That is my price target for the end of April if they haven't become current like they committed to by the end of the first quarter. Quoted from their website:
"Affinity Gold Corp. is committed to providing timely and accurate financial reports. The Company will be releasing official comprehensive updates soon and completing a full independent audit by the end of Q1/2014."
Do you really think that picture is representative of the gold concentration in any of the mines? LOL
