it finished 10 mins ago..only 1 question was asked..if we could have asked questions (those of us online, i'm sure more would have been asked).....you can listen to the replay at the link i posted a bit earlier
Winalov, i dunno, parternship on Libigel seems to be asking a lot to me. How many companies are willing to put forth that kind of money for the arguably very risky proposition of another endpoint failure?
nutsyprofessor, libigel safety data is supposed to be out any day now? Is this legit? that's the first i've heard on a data release from BPAX being imminent? I would like confirmation. Where in a filing/p/r has the company indicated this?
dionfr: why should the stock trade to a discount to net cash tho?
Lol, why do you say that of me Nutsyprofessor?
Winalov, why do you want this deal to be cancelled so bad? Do you think the high risk level of the Libigel trial is worth it? Especially giving the high cost of running these trials?
Just bot shares at 1.36 on that dump. I'm expecting 1.35 to be the bottom today and some bounce expected.
Why is that r3d?
Iclight, i like your post. Im of the opinion that ANI will cease the move towards the "2 new proposed libigel trials" and will sell the libigel asset. I see this move as good for shareholder value as the cash will not be spent (wasted?) on these 2 imo VERY high risk trials. Therefore, i view the dump that occurred on 10.04 when the merger p/r came out was unwarranted strictly speaking. I believe that ANI will be a better steward of BPAX's assets..mainly by not pursuing the high-risk "2 new proposed libigel trials".
1.40 on the bid still..don't like seeing it at this support juncture..would like to see 1.45 on the bid. Is it too unlikely too imagine that the CEO presentation this afternoon at 130pm et will restore some investor confidence and the share price will rise?
Can we get some bid support here at 1.40? Could this stock see a run today with the CEO presenation?
Sheff, it's not "late November". It's "first half of November" per the company's own p/r: http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=54308193
Why are people saying that CEO Simes gets a golden parachute with this deal? I just double-checked the 8-k and there's not one mention in it of any compensation/severance package going to Simes.
The 'vouchers' do acct for sale of the Libigel asset.
so that didn't quite answer my questions homeslice. I'm wondering is there a final data release coming up soon? if so, what is the target date?
Im not sure if i follow you on the bpax data being ready for fda review..if it is, why did Simes propose these 2 new libigel trials?? And if it's satisfactory data, why haven't they filed the NDA already? Am i missing something here?
that could be homeslice, i'm not sure which endpoints you are referring to tho to be honest..i'm outta the loop on this point. Are you referring to something related to the 9th safety trial that was p/r'ed in Sept? When is the data release for these endpoints that you are talking about supposed to occur?
BPAX has no need to raise cash tho now..ANI mite cease the libigel 2 new proposed trials and sell the asset.
well simply maybe Simes does not believe that the risk/reward of running these 2 new Libigel trials is good..and thus did this merger for shareholders (ie. basically selling of BPAX's assets + cash), in the best deal he could to preserve the share price for investors..i mean ANI had a profitable 'net sales' figure in 2011..that's a pretty attractive point, considering that most small cap bios can only dream of that...and also ANI can takeover BPAX for it's cash and drug assets, and then decide to cease the 2 new proposed libigel trials if they want..thus saving a ton of cash on trials that a lot of people think are too risky + think will fail. ANI can sell the libigel asset if they want to, and raise whatever cash that brings in.
thing is tho nutsyprofessor, is that if we just see one hedgefund that things it's way undervalued here at 1.50 and starts buying up..that can bounce the stock to over 1.60 all by itself.
And I don't think that Propthink author is short anymore..i think he just hit it for a day-trade short yesterday and covered..his logic and assumptions from what i can tell are just really poor. I think he was trying to create a dump effect by putting out that nasty article, and just capitalize on unsophisticated longs dumping.
Propthink had some very big assumptions in their short-biased article:
a) that ANI is only worth 1x it's 2011 sales of $16m
and b) that BPAX is only worth it's cash
I think a) is very likely wrong, and i think b) BPAX should get some premium over it's cash for it's bioTgel and libigel assets. They also have that their assets which is licensed to Jazz (can't remember what it's called).
Maybe the bottom is in at 1.46 and this thing can slowly rise a bit? I mean i think this deal is positive for BPAX stockholders, if you're one like me who doesn't want the 2 new proposed Libigel trials to be run. ANI can take over the company and not waste/spend any of BPAX's cash on those proposed trials, and rather use the cash for more productive purposes.
I don't think that is accurate. THere was ZERO mention in company p/r of the "deal being valued at 93 to 95m" . If it is accurate however, since BPAX is 47% of the new deal...47% x 94m is $44.18M. Right now, if BPAX has say full diluted shares of 25m, that is a current cap of $37.5m.
When is this top line safety data supposed to be out? And how big of a catalyst is this? I'm out of the loop on this aspect of the company guys. Can you help me out please.
form 13d/a filed ..5.6m shares were sold end of sept
a) i rely on one because it's more efficient
b) i don't have time to check navb's website everyday to see if there may or may not be a p/r out
And, beyond the 9.18 p/r, i see that ihub is missing the 9.24 and 10.01 p/r's! http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=68527&p=irol-nda
Why am I the only one posting about this? I had no idea NAVB had these p/r's until today. Hard to be a successful investor when your news source fails to keep you abreast of the NEWS.
$ALXA i think it's because the valuation here at around $60m is still too cheap...and willing sellers at these prices are drying up..and it's possible that smaller hedge funds are buying up shares
Looks like all this momo guys are gone. Only 12 posts today. Whereas yesterday, there had been like 200 posts in the preceding 24hr period
Just bot $ALXA. What a steal of a price. Market cap here 40%~ than it was in May.
So there's like 250 new posts in the last 24 hours..all you new traders posting on here what is your price target? Something like 5c by friday?
So...that's intresting strongwave...so the "igcluose glucometer" is a disctinct/new product then. The other product mentioned on their webpage is "iglucose system"...so i guess that is technically/specifically the one that is approved by Food + Death Administration.
And I concur with bull_investor..wtf happened iwht the liberator medical holdings order of 15k units? Is that for for "iglucose glucometer" lol? (and thus can't be filled yet because the product ain't approved yet).
Sheff: why did i get an email alert the same time this as you posted this, but with different details?
This is the one i got (at the same time you posted this) in my email (i'm signed up for your ihub board alerts):

This was a lotto play that I have been in almost a month. Just got an upgrade today from ROTH with a $1.75 target. The catalyst is Monday Sept 24th and don't want to carry this through the weekend. http://bit.ly/PbpTbA
Confident the FDA will grant expedited review but not enough so to watch my profits erode here.
Definitely don't want to get greedy here with my gains. Did that with the last play NAVB & they had a CRL."

....So i'm guessing this was just from a sell writeup you had done last week and you send it out this morning by accident?
Series F, what's the conversion rate on these? I ask because 100 shares of series F were issued to IronRidge on 9.12: http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=54216259
Has anybody spoken with IR recently? by email or fone? I haven't heard anything back from the last month. I sent numerous questions via email.
8-k out. Ironridge getting 100 series F shares....what's the conversion rate (into normal shares) on this?
Also the reason they were issued seems kinda fishy to me..they were issued to satisfy any penalties because they were late on delivering shares to Ironridge under a conversion of Series F shares that IronRidge did.
My other questions:
a) how many series F shares does IronRidge own?
b) why are they liquidating them here? Don't they think the company is undervalued at this mcap level?
Looks like IronRidge is getting sent 'drawdown shares' shares today which it is selling. Price just hit 0.0136.
That's a mcap of just 2.72$m for the whole company based on 200m total shares.

OK thanks for that info Jeff! So Cold Genesys..it's a privately traded company..so how do we find out what it's worth (ie. market cap)? ..Do you have any opinion/idea of what it's worth?
