We don't need to be occupying wall street. What we need to be occupying is Pensylvania Ave. Wall Street is not at fault here. Who is to blame? The Federal Reserve, OTS, FDIC, SEC, etc. for the anti-capitalist policies of picking and choosing who tumbles and who gets to further consolidate the wealth.
JD under some serious pressure lately?
Thier egos may be thier downfall if they are unwilling to pitch in on settlement negotiations...
Just sayin ;)
What do you think the possibility is that TPS had discussions with EC prior to today's hearing since each speaker is only supposed to have the floor for 30 minutes maybe Parker chose to address only the frivilous response of the SNH since he knew Artie and crew would be hitting on valuation, etc, etc, etc?
Mr. Rosen,
How is it that you still have a partnership with your current firm? Wouldn't your nefarious conduct during WAMU's bankruptcy proceedings call into question Weil, Gotschal & Magnes's ethics standards? Mr. Rosen, at this point I think that the honorable thing to do would be to fall on your own samurai and resign. Maybe you can find work at JPMC?
Just some advice from one of the 'Carnie' WAMU shareholders that you tried to rip off.
Parker's debunking of the SNH's little chart handout showing trading activity, IMO discreted all four HF's entire presentation here today. IMO the judge probably feels like SNH and Debtors committee have made a mockery of her courtroom all the way up to thier final arguments. EOM
This guy's argument is basically as follows: If you rule according to our actions then it will have a detremental effect on our business operations. He is "assuming the deal" (sales tactic) in reference to IT allegations being unsubstantiated. The judge saw right through it and is of the opinion that the IT did in fact cause damage to the estate.
"Equitable disallowance" = throwing out the SNH claims, correct?

Anybody noticed the Institutional ownership on WAMUQ? (MSN Money) I'm guessing some of these firms could be holding short positions???

WAMUQ/UP'ers,
I am WAMUQ / WAMPQ / KQ / DIMEQ holder currently in working in Afghanistan supporting the US forces here. I would like to write a letter to my state's senators & representatives concerning what has and is unfolding with this case but frankly I do not have the knowledge or expertise on the subject that some of the board members here possess. I am requesting that some of the more read-on, well versed & legally minded board members create a template letter that captures some of this aweful corruption for us less knowledgeable members to use to write our Senators for the cause.
Thanks
Ben
I speculate that the execs are worried that the financials may hurt share price if released prematurely as the company has had a bumpy road up until now. I further speculate that the execs will release the finacials about the same time revenues from Turtles start to hit to offset any investor fear / uncertainty based on past performance. IMHO
Let's see if I am right.
Go TDGI! Go EP! Go Turtles!
The profit potential here getting more notice in the media:

"Is Washington Mutual stock a buy at this point? Here’s two points to consider:
1.It is definitely a better buy now than it was in early 2007.
2.Washington Mutual, ironically, will emerge from bankruptcy in much better financial health than many banks that are currently operating."
My father runs a company that provides native wild land seed to private and government organizations for the purpose of land reclamation and restoring natural habitat. He has been involved with several strip mining companies in the past so I just contacted the company through the website about conducting a site survey. I think the land reclamation portion will play a major role in appeasing uneasy locals and may be a requirement as per the permit.
How about all those old WAMU branches up and down the west coast now plastered with that disgusting CHASE TM? When do we get those back?
Bounce baby BOUNCE! Oh yeah!
Yup! Erick has been true to his word about not diluting stock and the longs who stuck through will be rewarded!
GO TDGI!
IMO turtles is going to be the catalyst needed to launch this company into the big leauges.
The next couple months are going to be exciting! Just watch the buzz that this movie is going to create.
My niece just changed her favorite animal from Penguin to Sea Turtle!
I think it's about time to start setting some funds aside to double up my position getting ready for turtles. Just waiting for this to hit bottom then POP!
Is there anyway to look up institutional ownership of the different classes? It would be very telling to see who is accumulating at this point...
A reverse split is impossible a.) while this is a BK stock and b.) when shareholders are in control of the reorganized company as they will have majority vote.
EC will represent 3 out of the 5 members on the BOD of the new company so a R/S is highly unlikely with the new company.
Trying to double up! BINGO! JACKPOT!!!
BONANZA!!!
BONANZA!!!
BONANZA!!!
Which exchange? What's the Deutsch symbol for WAMU commons equivalent? It will be interesting to watch...
Here is how bad they are were trying to keep the price down last night:
I had a buy order in for 50,000 shares at .104
The order filled at .1021...
Never in my life have the MM's worked in my favor like that as usually they are trying to fleece you for every last drop.
That would be very wise...
Turtles are awesome.
I have all my nieces and nephews (about 10 of them now) and cousins kids (about 100) all anticipating the release of this film. Kids love this stuff and so do I!
Turtles is the best thing that has happened to HH to date... IMHO
Found it:

Thanks but no thanks Matt... I would rather ask someone with a clue who doesn't dismiss an opportunity simply because he broadstrokes all bankrupt secutities as one and the same.
Nice plaigerism...
I read that article a couple week's ago. Written by some no-name investment advisor who clearly hadn't done his DD.
Ah I figured it was an error with my bank (USAA) or someone with a seriously high ask and a market order getting filled at that price. Are you looking at the L2s at close yesterday (I don't have access).
Is anybody else showing a share price of $23.50? I logged into my brokerage account to find quite a suprise this morning. Is this due to the recent settlement reached with JPM?
Hello fellow TSHO investors. I'm just popping in to say hi. I'm still long, still holding strong and still loading up. I just had a buy for 3,000 shares fill at .24!
Gain a frame of reference before posting. I'm talking about what releasing the financials means in the greater sense. I don't give a shit about what the revenue amount during the period being reported on, I've invested based on what I project it to be in the future. It's what the disclosure represents.
Great news!
Another promise made good on by De Beers. Exactly as he said he was going to do. This will go a long ways towards attracting institutional investors as well as negating about 75% of the bashers' arguments once the ball gets rolling again.
Next move will be to OTC markets.
I might get ostracized for stating this but I hope this sucker drops to the teens and stays there for about 12 more paydays before any indication of success that way I can get hundreds of thousands of shares instead of mere thousands.
Hello fellow TSHO investors. I'm looking forward to the coming months and the full scale roll out of Ultamate Squeegie in addition to the rest of the products poised to be marketed this year. There was obviously a difference between the intrinsic valuation range, which Skymark and we as investors can calculate based on future sales performance scenarios, and the current paper value of this company. The current stock price does not in any way reflect the true value of this company when you consider the sales and marketing engine being ignited here. Those of us still long are in for a good year!
