GSAT: 0.23 +16% on big buy already. This is its bottom IMHO, ready to run real soon.
I agree. We should move up next week. IMHO
yes it was a buy.

watch it go screwy eod. in last minute.
Green, as my original prediction. IMHYO. Buyer returned.
And now we go green. WOW.
No way, not diluition. Even in the canf call in november, they said they had equity funding available if they wanted, but would wait after april if the market improved. That was my take. they have enough cash to the end of second quarter of 2009. So it would be nutz to sell down here.
This is not a reflection of global star. Its the market conditions. Its wild out there. The whole market is down huge. Did you see BAC and C today. Wow, glad I'm not in those right now.
IMHO we close over 0.23. Someone wants shares, and they are buying down here. But IMHO, they will buy at the ask by the End of the day. Feel like they want in by next week.
It will come matt. You have to agree, the whole market is screwed up. Today is a good day for us though. Lots of bid support. Up from here my friend. Earnings call in a few weeks. Should be a good one.
I didn't see that. Not showing up on my real time streamer.
I think that was a fat finger. that 26 should of been a 22. Regarless, tons of buying going on right now.
plus I think the MM's are jumping above retail by puting their bids between the pennys (like 0.2108). IMHO everyone is starting to want back in.
about the same. It started 120 thousand on 0.21. I don't have more info then that. I think the market is starting to say 'This is nutz, let start putting some cash in this'. IMHO
today is different. Something going on bud. Tons of shares on the bid, and some are hitting the ask. Looks good today.
GSAT: 0.22 Big bidding going on. IMHO this is the bottom, will run again soooooon.
wow, look at that bid on GSAT. over 100 thousand shares at the bid. We may move today.
Today? I don't know, but weeks or a couple months, over 1 dollar IMHO
lets move up today. Great things coming IMHO
Hey everyone. Looks great here. Lets hope for a great day. GLTA
selling is done IMHO. 1 cent uptick and no one selling at that.
major markets starting to go green now. We should follow soon today. Watch. IMHO
This is the price the CEO bought 3 million dollars worth of GSAT stock over a month ago. 3 million bucks. I know we are safe.
Who knows, the guy that sold, might be due to a margin call. The market was crap yesterday, and looks shaky today. Keep the faith.
Don't worry guys. Someone just sold there shares. Ask is still thin. I think he is done now, it will bounce back to 26 today. Mark my words. We can't worry too much about daily fluctuations. Earnings call in a few weeks, launch months away. We will do real nice on this play. Keep the faith.
I'm jacked about GSAT. IMHO we have a winner here.
It looks like our competitor Iridium got hit with that satelite colision 500 miles over the earth.
Collision 500 Miles Above The Earth
Evan Hessel , 02.11.09, 11:07 PM EST
Iridium faces slight service disruptions following first in-orbit crash involving commercial satellite.
A Russian satellite crashed Wednesday into a satellite operated by Iridium Satellite LLC, destroying one node in the global communications firm's orbital network. The incident is believed to be the first in-orbit collision involving a commercial satellite.
The satellites smashed together just before noon Eastern Standard Time about 500 miles above Siberia. Iridium called the collision a "low probability event" that would likely result in only "brief, occasional outages" to its global voice and data service. The Bethesda, Md.-based company also said it would move one of its in-orbit spare satellites into the slot occupied by the satellite within 30 days.

Yahoo! BuzzIridium, which sells satellite phones and global tracking services to industries such as shipping, mining and defense, declined to specify when or where users would experience dropped signals. The company operates a web of 66 satellites circling the earth at 16,800 miles per hour. Data bounces from phones and devices on Earth to the closest satellite, which directs the bits throughout the network and back down to terrestrial appliances used by Iridium's 300,000 subscribers.
Iridium's satellites can quickly patch up their orbital network to compensate for the destroyed equipment, says Bruce Elbert, founder of satellite industry consultancy Application Technology Strategy. He estimates the absence of one satellite would cause periodic outages in certain spots for about 10 minutes.
Iridium competitor Globalstar (nasdaq: GSAT - news - people ) forsees no service interruptions due to debris created by the collision, as its satellite constellation is located 360 miles above the Iridium's, said Anthony Navarra, Globalstar's president of global operations. Satellite television and radio companies such as Directv, Echo Star and Sirius XM (nasdaq: SIRI - news - people ) won't be affected, either. Those companies use geostationary satellites positioned 22,000 miles above the Earth.
Founded by Motorola (nyse: MOT - news - people ) in 1992, Iridium became the poster child for the failed satellite communications industry after sucking up $5 billion in funding only to file for bankruptcy in 1999. Dan Colussy, a former aviation equipment manufacturing executive, bought the firm's assets at fire sale prices in 2000 and rebuilt the company, which first booked an operating profit in 2004. In September, Iridium merged with a publicly traded affiliate of investment bank Greenhill & Co. (nyse: GHL - news - people ), in a transaction that valued the satellite outfit at $591 million.
The increased danger of colliding with decommissioned satellites and other space debris has long been a well-known risk-factor. The company's original 1997 stock offering prospectus warned, "Satellites operating in the low earth orbit region, such as the Iridium satellites, face a higher risk of damage from space debris than satellites operating in geostationary orbit."
Stimulus package money for GSAT: Check it out. I was waiting to see if this would happen. I see more info coming as we move forward. GSAT mentioned in the below article.
Could the broadband stimulus package be a coup for wireless broadband?

The $825 billion economic stimulus proposal from the incoming Obama administration and House Democrats contains $6 billion for improving the U.S. broadband infrastructure, and the wireless industry is cheering because it was included.
A summary of the proposed spending plan released by House Democrats calls for the money to be used for "broadband and wireless grants in under-served areas to strengthen the economy and provide business and job opportunities in every section of America, with benefits to e-commerce, education, and health care. For every dollar invested in broadband, the economy sees a ten-fold return on that investment."
The plan seems to be vague on the particulars, but Obama transition team member Blair Levin, speaking at the Congressional Internet Caucus' State of the Net 2009 conference, said any monies that came from the economic stimulus package likely would use "existing structures" and programs to get money pumped into the economy as soon as possible. A more comprehensive broadband policy, it appears, has yet to be determined as the Obama administration is considering a host of possibilities.
The House version of the stimulus package includes $2.8 billion for the Rural Utilities Service (RUS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to give out as grants and loans to broadband providers. The bill also would give $2.8 billion to the U.S. National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) for broadband deployment grants, with $1 billion of those funds going to wireless broadband projects. Another $350 million would go toward a national program to map areas that don't have broadband access.
According to the bill, about 25 percent of the NTIA broadband grants would go to areas without broadband, and 75 percent to areas with limited broadband options. The money going to unserved areas would focus on providing basic broadband service of more than 5 Mbps on the downlink speed for wired broadband or basic wireless broadband.
Interestingly, the way most of these grants and loans are set up may become a coup for wireless providers when it comes to providing broadband service to those communities with limited options. In order to qualify for the 75 percent of the money going to underserved areas, a wired broadband provider has to deploy a service offering 45 Mbps on the downlink, while a wireless broadband operator must provide 3 Mbps on the downlink. Rob Atkins, president of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), speaking at a broadband stimulus form late last week, said wired broadband providers such as AT&T and Qwest aren't set up at this point to deliver broadband connections at 45 Mbps.
Perhaps what we've seen with Colorado-based rural broadband service operator Open Range Communications could be the expectation of what we'll see with more government money. Open Range, which has a deal with Globalstar to deploy WiMAX in some 500 rural communities, secured a $267 million broadband access loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture in November. The private equity arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co. followed this month with a $100 million investment, which was part of the condition of the government loan.
Open Range said the money also would allow it to launch "affordable" high-speed broadband Internet and voice services to more than 6 million consumers in 546 "underserved and rural communities" within five years.--Lynnette
Get ready for the run people. IMHO
GSAT: 0.25 cents, 52 week hi of 8 dollars. CEO bought 3 million bucks of stock recently at this level. Recently ran up to over 60 cents and retraced. Launch of new satelites months from now. IMHO, its going to run hard soon.

I just relistened to the Nov-08 conf call. Man there is a lot of great info in there. The March conf earnings call should be better.
That was a good interview. Thanx for posting the link. Great things to come. Should see that earnings forcast within the next few weeks.
Did you guys know there is only 49.4 million shares in the float? This will help on the climb up. IMHO
No problem. IMHO we are going to rock with this stock.
I called left a message. Then they called me back 4 hours later. He couldn't give me any details. But I did get the impression things were going on. He re-iterated many times to re-read the 8Ks, and re-listen to the december audio. He did talk about the June launch of the next generation satelites and how management was concerned about the share price. He also said, rules are in place for them to PR earning forcasts(not his exact words) within 75 days of the new year. I did do what he asked, and after doing all that, I came to the following conlusion. Those who own GSAT will do very well(very very well) over the next litle while. IMHO of course.
I agree. I talked with the company today. Feel great. I reread all the 8K's, did more DD. This is ready to explode IMHO. We have to break the trigger 0.28, and watch out.
GSAT: Matt it was 80,656 shares buy at 0.25 After Hours. 20 thousand bucks.
