Comical post, Paramour! I love it when you guys magically pop in here to blow each other up.
Hmmmm. Your butchery of the english language seems familiar-
Good post, Birdy?
Banal, unsourced, illogical, sophomoric, yes.
But good?
C'mon Birdy. You're letting the pumper nation down.
So, answer this one for me, straight from your post-
You say-
"Lawsuits and creditors disappear real fast once you have money"
Please back this up with any factual examples. Show me another company with a track record similar to this that turned it around.
Specifics, Birdy. Otherwise, we'll know from what orifice you're talking from...
Birdy, I'm thinking, maybe you're dyslexic and I'm just too darn hard on you. Perhaps what you REALLY meant was:
"Money disappears real fast once you have lawsuits and creditors"
That's a bit more realistic and less fantastic, wouldn't you say?
Kishmech...
what does
Oh c'mon, Inthemix, NOTHING compares with the MIDEM fiasco! The Baidu episode was a refreshing blast of honesty in comparison!
I also was very impressed with the "super, top-secret" engineering that allowed content on to iPods. BLLN technical prowess at its finest!
AK's BS was so much more creative "back in the day"....
I knew it would be you, Darth (Eagle will be echoing close behind, of course) and I predicted as much. Blaming folks on this board for the charade called BLLN. Delusional until the sad and bitter end.
Nothing significant you ever "shared" had any basis in reality, and only served to harm folks in here who believed your anecdotes. Had no one stood up to your and other's postings of madness in here and people actually bought more shares, they'd be suffering even more than they already are, and that is the plain indisputable TRUTH.
Your last post was as filled with falsehoods and half truths as we are so used to seeing. Leopards can't change their spots. "Only the positive were banished" you claim? What about Chewy? Q-Crap?? AVDI???
No dancing here, Darth. I think it is a CRIME to consider the losses folks have endured because of the fantasy pump & dump called BLLN and a cadre of irresponsible dishonest pumpers. Whether you were a part of the pump 'n dump (like birdy obviously was), or just another duped investor I know not, and really don't care, but I'm not going to let you get away blaming the board for this mess, no matter how many of my posts are deleted.
I think they're going to have big trouble spinning out the next new entity. I think if the new entity continues intellectual property originally developed within BLLN, or continues to be a model that relies on Oracle for the database infrastructure, Oracle (and various other) creditors would just re-aim their attorneys to the new shell. It would be tantamount to a fraudulent conveyance. I wonder which creditor wins the answering machine in NYC?
Then again, as I've said for months now, we've seen the last of Klepsy and Co. in the United States for reasons we all know, and that includes "Son of BLLN". He's going to have a blast trying to get seed capital for a new entity elsewhere in the world, especially considering his reputation.
Hi Lucky. I've a Japanese friend who volunteered to translate these power twitters you guys have posted. Here, unabridged, is her commentary-
"N" says it's mostly babbling on twitter -- a large portion is just link spam. She says that there was a news article on TV last week, and so there are useless comments like "since I posted a blog article about the TV spot, my traffic went way up" (kira). A different guy said he was going to give Qtrax a try. An hour later he wrote that he is giving up.
Right now you can't get any tweets past 7 days ago.
On Kira's blog, he quoted an article, since expired, which indicated that in April 2009, Qtrax launched in the US. He did try to use the system in Japan back in April 09, but he was unable to listen to music (no indication if he was clever enough to use a US based IP address).
Anyway, by looking at kira's blog, she learned it was supposed to launch in January, but didn't, though oddly there was that TV spot a week ago. Some people are wondering if it has a chance because of questions around how artists would get paid.
She also googled japanese blogs:
-- one says it launched in Japan 3-26-2010
-- another one says that it is a legit service but you get ads when you play music. Ipod playable. (Note: this is just hearsay, not actual testing by this blogger.)
-- another blogger says he wants JP version of Qtrax.
That's about it from the blogs -- I get the impression that a lot of the hits were just keyword sites trolling for page views.
_______________________
So, Lucky, as I told you or others last week, the Japanese tweets are garbage.
Shame on anyone who would propagate this crap. SHAME!!
Your response clearly indicates a lack of capacity to understand these issues.
(or, an intentional desire to mislead). Either way, have fun while it lasts.
"...we have to remember- THIS IS A FIRM DATE. This date has been released to the world, not just the people who visit qtrax.com. Nobody, including AK, would throw this date out there without money in the bank and a really strong package to put out."
-Qurious 8/17/09
I'm not the one who brought up Japan. Others did. In the normal, vague, flowerly, fluffy, pumpy manner, of course!
What am I supposed to think- Is Qtrax supposedly in Japan to crow about their imminent Vietnamese rollout?
Who are Darth's mysterious Orientals?
Has everyone completely lost it in here?
ps- I'm glad you're still talking to me, Lucky. Maybe I can still be saved?
I'm with you on that Germy- I don't remember seeing Japan on the schedule. I'm just trying to figure out what the pumpers are alluding to, is there any fact and substance behind it, or is it more smoke and carrots.
If I recall correctly, Japan was once specifically mentioned as an Asian country for which Qtrax didn't have a license. If these guys are talking rollout in Japan, based on all the great inside dope they have, then that question should be easy enough to answer.
Then we can get to tougher questions...
Lucky, please share what you think Lance Ford supposedly being on JTV actually means, if you have a sec.
A year ago Japan was not one of the countries for which Qtrax had a license to operate via the labels, has this changed?
As all of us know, US, UK, Global, and Asian rollouts were non events- Did Lance explain how and why Japan would be different?
Qtrax depends on Oracle for its infrastructure. Currently Oracle is suing Qtrax. Did Lance cover this?
I'm looking forward to hearing about the specifics of Lance's Japanese television coverage which has made you hopeful.
I regret that some in here resent my skepticism as I no longer trust Qtrax/Klepfisz promises (then again, maybe AK had his fingers crossed behind his back); however, one would have to be insane to take any of this Oriental news at face value without independent, corroborating data.
At which point did "fantasy" replace "faith" in KTF?
Why would anyone believe that anonymous Orientals are ponying up cash for BLLN so as they can pay their old debts and settle old lawsuits? Seriously, just because someone pumps sunshine, that doesn't mean there's a connection to reality.
If you really want to believe Darth when he says that many Asian countries want to participate in the "awesome" Qtrax launch, as we just witnessed many Asian countries FAIL to launch, I'd really appreciate what due diligence supports such belief. Trust me, Eagle's blame of macroeconomics has nothing to do with collapse of BLLN.
Darth-
This is AMAZING news.
Since you've shared that Allan has a cadre of "very loyal friends" in "the Orient", please share more details. If you know enough about them to post assurances as to their loyalty, please share more. WHO are they? WHAT are their names? Any friend of mine who is loyal CERTAINLY wouldn't hide behind a cloak of anonymity. So please, advance your post. WHO are these friends willing to stand with AK?
And, do you think these friends will pay Allan's old debts to Oracle, among others, or has QTRAX found even more Oriental friends to pirate the Songbird platform and distribution system Oracle is awaiting payment for.
This is very good news Darth, thank you, and please share what you know.
Well, you're modest. Luck may have been a factor, but you were wise enough not to let greed color your decision making. Too many in here can't say the same thing.
Sorry to hear your friends are holding a bag that big.... Unfortunately, that is not such an exclusive club, and I predict significant gnashing of teeth as this saga winds down. Do me a favor, just shoot me before someone in here blames "bashers" for the failure of the infamous scam known as AVDI/BLLN/QTRAX.
I have no respect for folks that get personal in forums such as these, so if you find this question intrusive, consider it withdrawn, but I'd really like to know- what is the neighborhood of your profit investing in BLLN?
You're pretty much the only hero in here, MMs notwithstanding, no one else has made money on this pig. How long did it take you to liquidate your position without moving share price (assuming you had a big stake)?
Feel free to round the figures. I guess I just want to feel jealous...
I'm not advocating rubbing salt in the wound, Q-tunes.
And let's remember the personal slurs and insults that have been hurled at Mr. Rosso by various members in here. Other than the fact that this guy actually understands how the industry works and personally knows many of the relevant players, why shouldn't he be attacked when he correctly predicts what is happening with Qtrax? That's right, he shouldn't be, and if you look back you'll find far more vile insults cast to him compared with what he has posted here.
I like to pretend I'm a sponge, especially when folks who know a hell of a lot more than I do about a particular business share their commentary. If the guy says something that hurts your feelings, treat it as a learning experience rather than being reactionary. Just my $0.02...
Perhaps you didn't have an opportunity to read Darth's post. Here's what you missed- "Great things are around the corner, KTF, disbelievers will die, we will party in Vegas, etc..." Pretty much the same stuff he has been posting that has no connection to reality and we've heard SO many times... It's called running scared, Q-tunes...
The only pitiful thing I see is the avoidance of reality so many folks in here have fallen into...
My regrets on your loss, QTunes. But ease up on those who don't pump.
Unfortunately you're wrong. AK is already hiding. We've seen the last of this scamp in the US. And really, what power does a judgement creditor have over someone like AK who is undoubtedly insolvent?
Oh well, easy come, easy go. Anyone who can pretend we didn't see this one coming is delusional and should never be allowed to gamble with other folk's hard earned money again.
rt
I agree with you here, Q-tunes- the internet's "grammar police" are annoying and that is not my style.
I was trying to be funny by pointing out folks who talk about Klepfisz using his given name is hysterical given they've never met the crook, and even more outlandish since they can't spell freakin' "Allan", but out of respect to your wishes I will cease and desist...
Sorry friend, it is clearly not me who is missing the point here.
Your crew is the one blaming anyone who doesn't KTF. I blame AK, and merely point out the hypocrisy of you guys continually whining about the "bashers" when in fact the "KTF"ers have cost people money.
I was hoping you'd have a better response to my destruction of your premise in the last post, but am not surprised you didn't....
Anyway, KTF!
With all due respect, I'll have to categorically disagree...
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
For instance, your bit regarding Darth's posting is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. 10/31/09 was not a trading day, so there was no way to take a position based on whatever Darth seemed to think was going to happen. The next trading day, 11/2/09 was the famous Baidu PUMP DAY!
Trading opened at 0.072
Then, the infinitesimally quick BAIDU intraday spike to 0.0975...
Immediately (and I mean IMMEDIATELY) followed by a crash to 0.066, the day's closing price.
There is no way you can argue that one could have benefited from Darth's post bought in any significant degree, and then sold perfectly at the peak (which, as anyone who knows BLLN knows, would have resulted in the peak falling apart even faster than it did due to the thin trading of this stock).
So now this mythical investor is stuck holding the bag between 0.072 and 0.0975.
For a brief moment, the next day, the stock got to 0.074, but on tiny support with its usual volume sensitivity, and fell back into the sixes that day. Any big sell would have taken it down immediately (as of course, it did).
THEN, of course, THE PLUNGE began in full. After November 5 (day 3 in this scenario), this pig would never see 0.06 again.
In conclusion, someone who traded based on your specific example would have been absolutely DESTROYED. What could you possibly find supporting your argument "people clearly could have benefitted" in this example? I'll save you the time- nothing.
As for Inthemix and his claims of profiting, well, all I can say is this- the volume of BLLN doesn't support a claim that day trading this pig could be profitable and secondly, if I had a dime for everytime someone told my how much money they made trading, well...
Anyway, my point stands- the "pumpers" have caused folks to lose money. That is the group you guys should be frustrated with. The guys who "hear things"...
I'm curious, Q-tunes- What is a good example of the board benefiting from a poster sharing "what they heard", in your words?
Surely in the nearly 23,000 posts we have here you've got a multitude of examples of how such anecdotal information was ahead of the curve and benefited us as investors.
Well, IMHO you're mistaken.
The contracts labels negotiated with BLLN are a win/win for the record companies. It provides an avenue of monetization of their existing catalog without any real cost, and BLLN hardly has an "exclusive" in the deal. There's really no logic in your argument- contracts are drafted every day where Party A promises to do something when Party B does something in return. "Secure funding" is hardly a prerequisite.
What's the risk for the labels? Besides Ihub, no one even knows or cares about BLLN (except the duped investors, I guess)... I CAN answer one of your questions- "Where is the money?"- Nowhere.
Thank you so much for the treatise on investing, Q-tunes, but I'd rather keep my own counsel.
Nothing that I do or say has any material impact on BLLN. Just because many if not all of us have lost our shirts hardly gives us an excuse to cast blame on each other, rather than the ROOT of the problem.
I generally post as a reaction- Darth, Eagle, or Lucky goes too far with the KTF in the fellow whose name no one can spell and I pop in. I don't make anything up, so either quit reading my spiel or quit taking it so personally. You see, we've been the victims of fraud here IMHO, and once you've stolen from me, fat chance you're also going to shut me up.
By the way, can you please loan Darth the 5 grand? I've already got my winnings spent!
That is right, Darth!
I am in the septic business- sanitizing the toxic waste pumped by you and Eagle.
"Paid to bash" the company? You've lost your tenuous grip on sanity, haven't you?
So, let's find out, RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW- are you a MAN who owns up to his words, or are you something a bit less than that?
I'll wager you $5,000 that I can prove my equity investment in BLLN for the entire saga (2+ years) I've hung around this forum. Through today.
YOU can pick an attorney/independent arbiter/whoever to verify my information. We each put our money in escrow until the bet is settled. How's that for trust, pal?
Time to MAN UP or SHUT UP, Darth. $5,000 US. Should be an easy call for you since you claim to know so much about me.
Which is it, Darth? Man or mouse??
Again Eagle you mislead.
The delays here are ABSOLUTELY abnormal and evidence of complete and utter failure of leadership and execution and tantamount to FRAUD. Find me a single example of a successful company that lied about their product, lied about their rollout (multiple, serial lies), lied about the relationship with their "suppliers", and have been sued by nearly every "partner" they've had?
Why in the world do you refer to these guys being a "venture capital" company? Do you not understand what VC is? The fact this pig is traded OTC means we're POST-VC. The company is already public. Are you talking just about Qtrax? Words are important, Eagle. We "bashers" thank you in advance for using correct ones in the future.
And you distort about "doors being open". To wit, just try to phone their registered company number in NYC. These boys are shut down.
Have a good weekend, Eagle.
Oh, Darth, you never cease to amuse. I heard you were in the used car business, but now I worry you spent a bit too much time in the body shop with the acetone.
Anyway, why not try "gold medal". Gold metal is a bit redundant, don't ya think?
It's over bro. Your investment is done and any others you led into this are done as well. If you actually brought "friends" into a pinkie like this, you are either beneath contempt or just too freaking lazy AND GREEDY to understand what this is all about.
Big boys are never "humbled" to be around others, Darth. What on earth are you talking about?
And what is up with this Titainum you claim to have? Are you trying to be hilarous or is this by accident?
Fat lady has sung, Darth. Take your hat off and go beg forgiveness. It's your only move.
Actually, in retrospect, MIDEM was really the bell tolling the demise of the BLLN.
Any company (or really, any individual, as this fiasco seemed to be totally the fault of AK) that would BS about essentially the most critical part of their model and assumed they could get away with it forever breaches the trust of their investors. You can't buy reputation or credibility.
The BAIDU silliness and the scheduled rollouts were just jokes in poor taste, imho.
I would have no idea.
He's likely smart enough to leave this dead horse. That was my inclination as well, but Darth's BS brought me back in.
"I am who I am"????
Really?
Your name is actually Darth Vader?? Wow.
A couple of corrections if I may-
I am still a BLLN stockholder. Please refrain from lying about me in the future.
Secondly, if you are going to gushingly write about the charlatan/scoundrel/debtor Klepfisz using a first name basis, for god's sake SPELL IT CORRECTLY. It is ALLAN. ALLAN!! Not Allen. Not Alan. It is freakin' ALLAN.
On the other hand, should AK ever be brave enough to return to the US, you could just use the term "convict" and we all would know who you're talking about.
If what you say is so, Germy, I would appreciate your differentiation as to the lies we've been fed for 5 years by AK&Co. I can demonstrate proof of loss directly relating to their fraud. Can you or anyone else say the same about Chewy, Quispy, me, or whomever else you wish would go away?
He doesn't, but everyone in their right mind realizes there is absolutely NO way the labels would allow QTRAX to distribute "free" music without DRM/DWM. That just will never happen with this model. Bet your life on it.
Prove it, Eagle.
Find me ONE user who has downloaded music.
PK-
Actually, you are 100% correct. And I don't blame anyone but myself. But I don't whine, nor do I predict impossibilities, nor do I quote liars forecasting good news "around the corner".
I'm happy you've made some spare change trading this puppy. The volume is way too thin and pps far too elastic to interest me from a trading perspective, but I'm gratified to hear some have profited.
All I know is I'll never look at carrots the same way again...
Dear Darth-
Just quit. I'll not rub salt in any wound and sincerely hope you and your friends profit greatly on other endeavors, but at least do us the favor of falling on your sword with honor. "Negs" or whatever boogiemen you and others want to blame for this disaster your greed got you into have nothing to do with the failure that is BLLN/Qtrax. Now would be a great time to open up your mind and learn from the money you (and I) have lost on on this. It is the company's fault. It is AK's fault. It has NOTHING to do with the truthsayers in here. Sorry man, it hurts, but don't blame the messenger.
Web-B:
Only ONE question. What in God's name makes you think we're a "bunch of smart investors"?
I'd say our presence here clearly proves that statement false...
