If they put the bid at .01 and you have a stop loss in at .01, it has been my experience (with the penny stocks, not the big board ones) the MMs will snap the stop losses up. They have to move the bid down to do it. That is why I never use stop losses with penny stocks.

Don't put a stop loss in, MMs are jumping the bid around to pick those up IMO. Bid now .01.

Actually it didn't move until after they mentioned it on CNBC. That is when I jumped in. I truly expected a PR this morning from GEVO.

I heard it live on CNBC a little after noon pacific time Friday. After hearing it I grabbed up as many options as I could. You'll note that within minutes after that announcement the stock went crazy. I think the reason it backed down some, from the peak, is a lot of preset sale orders were activated. Unless you happened to be tuned into CNBC, you would not have heard the announcement. GEVO may not have realized it would hit national TV, before they got a PR out. This is all IMO, but I know what I heard.

According to CNBC midday on Friday (11/15/13) Coke and Ford just signed contracts with GEVO. It sounded like a new event. I suspect we should see a PR from GEVO on Monday or Tuesday.

If they have contracts from Ford and Coke no need to dilute, they can get financing based on the contracts, they also have cash on hand, so not really worried about dilution.
