Ya right and both of the new hires (one for sales and one for marketing) have also been asleep at the wheel-NOT!
IMHO Santa arrives with the publication of the year-end 10-K.
Time will tell which of us is right.
I sincerely hope you are right!
Last year's year-end 10-K came out on 4/14/16
Well, my magic 8 ball says SFOR closes green tomorrow. Let's see whose right the optimist or the pessimist!
Can't wait for the year-end 10-K to be published which will capture those holiday sales figures!
Yeah man, Ram has the bubble on this stuff. He was the first kid on the block to own the shiny new toy called OOBA for mobile devices. At least that's what I saw reading the original date of his filing with the US patent office.
Yes, shortly after he was elected and formed his transition team.
Readers will know which of us is right with the publication of the 2nd Q 2017 report. Until then I am long & strong SFOR!
Mission essential Trumps guidelines! "I will make certain that our military is the best in the world in both cyber offense and defense: POTUS -Elect Donald J. Trump written remarks prepared for delivery Oct 3, 2016. You seriously think he is going to let guidelines stand in his way to do this? He will get the military whatever it needs from whoever has it to insure mission success.
Right, the FFIEC is going to shut the doors of the Pentagon. LOL!
I was completely unaware of that! You know he has a Trump connection right?
I agree because outfits like MITRE, DISA and US Cyber Command have a lot of military on staff working with the PhDs in IT. When the rubber meets the road the military will make the call in support of their mission. In this case it's getting the troops the best defensive software on those issue I-Phone 6s before hostile intelligence services can exploit them in support of their mission.
FFIEC guidelines on vendor management do not have the force of law. They are only guidelines. You & I both know that. Also, if you have been evolved with the DOD procurement cycle, mission essential needs trumps everything else! The DOD fully realizes the seriousness of the chink in its COMSEC armor with mobile devices broadcasting in the clear. They will bypass "guidelines" and get the best solution to this problem before a COMSEC problem becomes an OPSEC one with potential mission failure. The DOD has a history of choosing what they think works the best when lives are on the line regardless of "guidelines". This sometimes has meant dealing with a small business that fills an unmet need. In accordance with SBA initiated legislation in 2015 the DOD must, by law, consider small business for a slice of the DOD budget pie.
Agree with "DOD would have to do DD on any software company they were considering" That's exactly part of the mission of outfits like MITRE, DISA and U.S. Cyber Command.
Disagree with "SFOR would not pass the DD test". Thanks but I'll leave it to the PhDs in IT who work for MITRE, DISA and U.S. Cyber Command to decide which defensive software is best to address the DOD mobile device COMSEC problem. May the best software win! The troops deserve the best. I think it's SFOR's Mobile Trust version 3. You don't.
Like I wrote earlier. Call our CEO Mark Kay and ask him simply this: Did ACS make a presentation to the DOD/CIO? (He will say yes) as far as "pursuing" that is entirely up to the purview of the DOD/CIO and nobody else!
The DOD/CIO decides which vendors they want to PURSUE further. Their office could task: MITRE,DISA and/or US Cyber Command to evaluate. I am retired & no longer privy to any Pentagon decisions. Even if I was I could not discuss them due to national security considerations!
All that I helped happened was the presentation. Nobody will know how that presentation turned out until the first 100 days of the Trump Administration is history. Consequently, I believe, we share holders will know if SFOR is a chosen vendor or not with the release of 2nd Q of 2017 report. Period.
Bingo! People think that the Federal Government is as quick on it's feet as in private industry. Unless there is a true emergency it can be an almost Byzantine bureaucracy wholly dependant on effective dates of funding. For the DOD that was 1 Jan 2017. The Government grist mill frequently turns exceedingly slowly but exceedingly finely. This is exactly why I expect no contracts of any large magnitude
(IF SFOR is chosen) until the first 100 day of the Trump Administration is over. I believe decisions will be made by then.
If SFOR is a beneficiary we won't know a thing until sometime in the 2nd quarter of 2017 IMHO.
Wow! A man with his connections is an "SFOR supporter, a proselytizer, even". He might be able to help the company in some way some day IMHO.
RDY2ROCK another poster here and fellow vet has already done this.
Please check his post regarding my veracity. Thank you.
Mark Kay CEO SFOR told me he would verify my efforts. Go ahead & call him at your earliest convenience. Then post truthfully what he tells you on this message board. Thank you. P.S. this goes for any other curious investor!
Thanks but I'm just a retired, passed over Major (no masters degree) not a Major General. I was most comfortable working to support operators like combat aircrews. I'm not an analytical ivory tower dweller but a bombs on target type of guy. Believe me when I tell you I am not well connected or heeled. I just remembered enough bureaucratic Kung-Fu from my time in the Pentagon to break the ice & help get ACS a chance at bat to showcase the SFOR solution to the mobile device COMSEC problem. I will continue my efforts for the first 100 days of the new administration. Then it'll be game over IMHO. Cyber is a high priority for the new administration. On Oct 3, 2016 the President-Elect stated "I will make certain that our country is the best in the world in both cyber offense and defense". I believe him and what the DOD/CIO's policy guy told me "We are aware of the mobile device COMSEC problem and working the issue".
I am confident that by the end of President Trump's first 100 days a vendor will be chosen to address this issue. I hope it's SFOR because I believe the troops, including my kin, deserve the best. But, I'll trust the PhDs in IT at US Cyber Command to choose. Until then I am long & strong SFOR!
Thanks lucky. Every long on this board contributes to moving the ball down field. This is a team effort and like you wrote "We all have to do our part" whatever that part is. Each long investor brings something unique to the SFOR table that can benefit us all. I am deeply in debt to those who have done such an outstanding job of contributing DD to this message board. Your research is outstanding! Me, I'm just a retired dog-faced GI trying to help his kin and their generation of warfighters that replaced his. Long & Strong SFOR.
Thanks for posting that! Bear in mind that in 10 days the Trump Transition Team will turn into the POTUS and his National Security Team. Their new address will be the WH!
Not knowing exactly when key members of his team will be leaving One Trump Tower considering sending your SFOR support letters to both New York City and the White House to insure one of them is not lost in the proverbial shuffle.
I hope the Commandant got a copy but I had to make sure! US Cyber Command is a joint command. The Marines are a vital part of it. As you'll recall in the reply from Mr. Strickland the USCG Chief of Business Operations, Command and Control, Communications, Computing & Information Technology (C4IT) Service Center wrote "Together with U.S. Cyber Command and the Coast Guard Cyber Command, we're focusing significant attention on all aspects of our information technology investments. I appreciate the referral to products developed and offered by Strike Force Technologies. This information has been provided to our information technology and cyber communities for evaluation." I must insure that the United States Marine Corps is aware of the SFOR solution to the military mobile device COMSEC problem!
Any USMC vets or people who just care about our Marines can contact their Commandant, General Neller and inform him of the SFOR solution to the COMSEC problem his Marines have with their issue I-Phones at the following address:
Joint Staff Public Affairs
9999 Joint Staff Pentagon Room 2D932
Washington, D.C.
20138-9999
Dear General Neller,
I’m writing to you at the urging of my Congressman Poliquin’s senior staffer Tim Gallant, a retired USN CPO.
As a retired military intelligence officer & former EUCOM member I was alarmed when I read EUCOM Lt/Gen Ben Hodges AFN interview in Poland during NATO’s FX Anaconda in June. In it he stated, “Neither (unclassified) radio communications nor email are secure” and “I assume everything I write on my BlackBerry is being monitored.” I believe he’s absolutely right! This COMSEC problem can become an OPSEC one with dire consequences in the near future. It helps enable enemy targeteers to put munitions on American targets and troops, as I did to our country’s enemies by utilizing their bad COMSEC to help build my strike folders.
As you are aware, our military is switching from Androids to Apple’s Chinese made I-phone 6. In July my (relationship withheld) and fellow unit members deployed to the Middle East in support of operations against IS. They have their personal mobile devices with them. These and issue I-phones have inadequate protection against cyber-attack and exploitation by hostile intelligence services to find, target and kill them, preventing their mission success.
Last winter I became concerned about protecting my personal and financial information from hackers. I found out that the anti-virus programs available fail to protect against the zero day attacks that key loggers and click jackers use. I wanted multi-layered defense and anti-screen capture capabilities. I read that “Silicon Review” recognized Strike Force Technologies as the world’s leading provider of patented, military-grade keystroke encryption, out of band authentication and two factor authentication. I purchased on-line via Amazon and installed their Mobile Trust product on my mobile device. I also encouraged family and friends to do likewise.
Mobile Trust is now being sold in brick and mortar stores nationwide. It was easy to install, costs $30 a year for two I-phones (or any android device), does not slow things down or cause any other problems. I did this only after Strike Force Technologies settled with Microsoft over patent infringement in January of 2016. In full disclosure, I was so impressed with Mobile Trust that I even bought SFOR stock. My Senator Angus King, who sits on the Senate intelligence sub-committee stated “The next Pearl Harbor will be cyber.” Don’t let your Marines’ mobile devices enable that. Please consider helping get them something to fix this tremendous COMSEC problem. I don’t even care if it’s Mobile Trust! They just need something better than the standard consumer encryption Apple provides its I-Phone 6. It is nowhere near the level of protection they need!
With the recent passage and signature into law of H.R. 5293-DOD Appropriations Act, 2017 funds are finally available to do this. Thank you for considering my request. If I can be of any further service to you or our country in this matter please don’t hesitate to call, e-mail or write me at (personal contact info withheld)
Best Regards,

This updated letter sent to the Commandant 1/10/17
Wrong! My other letters got through, broke the ice at the Pentagon and helped get the ACS foot in the door. They made a presentation to the DOD/CIO regarding the SFOR solution to their mobile device COMSEC problem. Go ahead and call Mark Kay CEO Strike Force Technologies to verify this.
Letter to General Neller, USMC Commandant, received at Pentagon 8/30/16 was returned to me. The Priority Mail envelope was in rough shape. It had been opened, inspected then resealed by the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. This was indicated on their sealing tape with their motto "Semper Vigilans". Something about the condition of that flat rate envelope concerned the mail room staff who alerted them. It was obviously inspected. Since my personal contact info was on the enclosed letter, I assume my military record was probably also accessed for security reasons. The envelope was then marked "returned to sender" and wound up in my mail box last week. I applaud their vigilance in keeping senior officers safe. I will resend my revised letter on how SFOR's Mobile Trust can enhance Marine Corps COMSEC. Only this time it will be mailed first class in a plain white envelope so as to cause no alarm!
Are you thinking the release of the year-end 10-K 3/30/17 (or 15 days after if they get an extension) is what will provide that tailwind?
Yeah, looks like it to me. Good to see yet another. Thanks for finding & posting it.
With "A TV store in January starting to show our products" according to CEO Mark Kay I think there should be a PR informing people which TV show on which channel on what day and time slot some time ahead of the broadcast. That might contribute to a rise in the pps ahead of airing IMHO.
I agree with most of what you've written. However, although SFOR has solutions it also has some competition. Personally I believe SFOR has the best OOBA, 2F-A, key logger protection out there but only Mr. Market will determine if it sells as well as we expect. Much depends on our marketing & sales team.
"With a TV store in January starting to show our products in 2017"
Mark Kay CEO Strike Force Technologies. That is what you are waiting for! The wait will be over in another 22 days. Let's see if once again Mr. Kay is a man of his word. He promised "No R/S" and the much feared and ballyhooed reverse split did not occur. By my count we haven't had one for over 14 months now. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Until the end of the month I give Mr. Kay the benefit of the doubt. The jury is still out IMHO.
Brilliant brook! Like you I encourage all impatient investors to move on, de-stress and be happy! I am not a short-term investor here. I look at the chart for the last 10 months and see a gradual ascending triangle. Last week we were up 22%. Today another 6%. We broke the 200 day moving average Northward. A hammer candle has formed. I see nothing wrong with this picture for a long term investor with patient capital. Long & Strong SFOR!
Noticed the hammer candle also! I agree it looks similar to Septembers. I can see the pps going back to .024 this month. But, what do you base an easy dime on?
I agree. Fortunately longs, knowing what they own, have patient capital invested here. We can wait for the catalysts listed in ZPaul's sticky note to happen.
A 22% weekly gain & break above the 200 day MA not bad at all!
Never doubt that your posts are eye-opening and informative to all who read them! You also cause us to think about SFOR matters in a new light. This reader much appreciates you complicating his thinking!
Hardly "the worst settlement in the history of civilization". I would rank Neville Chamberlain's appeasement of Adolf Hitler and the abandonment of Czechoslovakia for "Peace IN Our Day" as one of the worst! SFOR taking $9.7 million from MSFT to survive to thrive another day in the future is nowhere near in comparison!
SWEET!
To contact VP-Elect Pence about the SFOR solution to the military mobile device COMSEC problem, Mobile Trust as I have, write him at:

News of "Tanks rolling into Germany" reported Lt/Gen Ben Hodges is getting the armor, troops and air assets he needs to bolster the defense of NATO's East European members. Glaringly missing from that list is defensive software. Let's help America's best get the best, SFOR's Mobile Trust. Write VP-Elect Pence today!
