Don't be sorry, its what you want, right?
I can't complain, i also want that too, but not like that.
(sorry, as Soon as I posted this reality check, the PPS dropped)
Look at all of the patents we have benefited from with the Apple Monopoly...
I believe that has already been taken care off, how? by doing nothing and letting China be China.
The yuan is a bubble only floated on the backs of a billion plus, near-slave-labour citizens.
(and holding trillions of USD)
Real estate is a bubble, Ghost cities built by states for no reason other than to raise GDP.
Banks are a complete mystery, State controlled too.
Other asian neighbours are becoming more attractive (cheaper) to global companies.
Watts a better question to ask ?
"How many Engel machines does Jabil have and how many of those machines are able to be adapted to use BMG if not already specifically made for BMG?"
You are welcome.
After all MTRN is a supplier not an OEM.
Lqmt is tweeting an old 2012 article regarding lqmt and MRI machines, looks like its finally possible thanks to Engel,
Old news yes, but the difference now is that lqmt finally has injection molding machines that can do these things. Where Visser failed Engel has succeeded, and taking lqmt along for the ride :)
Right on the Cusp of Commercialisation.

So Steipp gave an indication of what would be the minimum income they would expect from a contract.
You can multiply that endlessly, 1 knife is 100k-200k, what happens when MA starts making other lqmt designs?
What happens when dozens of knife makers come to lqmt and order several designs?
What happens if those orders are above the 100k-200k example given, there are many knife makers with huge volume compared to MA.
And thats just in knives.
Oh thats easy, S Jobs was not CEO anymore and the rich kids at Apple have taken over, who could have predicted Apple would start making 37k watches, S Jobs would not have allowed that to happen, and thats where my DD failed.
Now please explain ALL your hundreds off posts over the last decade telling everyone how lqmt will make millions.
Oh ..... and the metals in the AppleWatch are Semi-amorphous right?
Don't you remember the patents from Apple regarding "Restricting Crystallisation" ?
And don't worry, amorphous metals are being manufactured in molds, Engel is already doing it :)
You need to TRY HARDER, search more, find something better.
So just to recap, I am right, the alloys in the AppleWatch are indeed (semi)Amorphous.
I remember going through with aapl shares, i did well BUT i sold way way too early :(
Lesson learned, need to buy at the right time AND sell at the right time.
Best chart reading ever :)
Agree, looks like the charts are turning into rocket man.
Thats what the chart says, or rather how you interpreted a selected time span,
but what i really want to know is...... what do the tea leaves tell us ?
So i guess it means you will now sell your holdings and wait until the charts give indication to buy back in, after the dilution, right?
Or i guess you are hoping it has that effect on others?
Seriously, all the chart reading/guessing in the world amounts to zer0.
I'd guess that most investors are just waiting for a major contract to be announced before deciding what to do next, easy guess, its human nature to wait and see.
Those are my guesses for the day, feel free to add yours.

You can add ANY manufacturer to that list,
hows that for a knee jerk reaction to an ill-considered question ?
Maybe you should do your own DD instead of asking others to do it for you, right?
So lqmt is cheaper than both CNC & MIM, and that was 2 years ago with no economies-of-scale to lower the costs.
News keeps getting better from here.

I would have loved to order the MA knife but there are restrictions here in Australia, i'll wait for Leatherman to make a lqmt multi-tool and finally replace my old Titanium Charge multi-tool.
First multi-tool guaranteed not to rust? cause right now the blades are steel, just the handles are Titanium.
Can't wait for the outdoors/sporting manufactures to see what Miltner-Adams is doing,
monkey see monkey do :)

More importantly, the quality of the RFQs that we received continues to improve as we and our MSRs get a better understanding of what Liquidmetal applications provide the most value to our customers. These and other components of our overall business measurement process are incredibly encouraging to me, to Paul, and to the rest of our internal and extended teams.
This is from someone who has been with this company 12 phuqqing years.Repeat, Investors Business Daily is a rag for suckers.

And I would say that the conversations we have on a very regular basis here at Span, the spectrum from customers who want us to make parts, customers who are interested in getting their own license and contract manufacturers who we might utilize in conjunction with those customers. But I just want to reinforce the comments that Paul made which is that - by the ones we're driving those discussions, they want to work - as to define the viability of the technology and then they will give us some advice whether they want to take a license themselves or turn it over to a CLM. And our intent is to have discussions with those that we've got a handful of folks that we can partner with.
Does anything from this article (posted May 1 2015) tell you that Jabil/Nypro would NOT do anything the customers want?
The firm announced the opening of its Blue Sky Center, a 100,000 sq. ft. site aimed at helping customers get products developed and launched more quickly.
“The Jabil Blue Sky Center is a hands-on showcase of our broad range of world-class capabilities,” said Jabil chief executive Mark Mondello. “We’re working with customers who have innovative new product ideas and our Blue Sky Center is where we turn dreams and ideas into reality.”
The facility features the company’s novel intelligent digital supply chain toolset, factory-of-the-future technologies, state-of-the-art Internet of Things (IoT) and rapid prototyping labs, as well as access to advanced capabilities for increasing customer collaboration and product innovation.
Jabil says the center will help customers innovate and bring new products to market faster, more affordably and with less risk. The site should go a long way toward helping customers that struggle with supply chain response, based on an April survey sponsored by Jabil of more than 300 organizations, which found:
More than 95% of respondents say lack of supply chain visibility introduces risk, with the top three risks identified as longer than desired lead time, additional shipping time and difficulty managing capacity.
More than 80% reported it would take days or weeks to understand the impact of an extreme global weather event on their supply chain.
Approximately 80% of respondents would launch products more frequently if manufacturing supported faster/more cost-effective delivery, while nearly 60% reported passing on a product idea because existing manufacturing processes were insufficient.
75% of those surveyed are planning, developing or producing IoT-related products; 77% admit a lack of expertise in-house to deliver.
The site will offer rapid prototyping with digital model shop capabilities, including various 3D printing technologies and materials; access to Jabil's product conceptualization and product design group; and participation in the Industrial Internet Consortium.
According to Mondello, the Blue Sky Center was designed to help customers engineer growth and stay relevant during a time of unprecedented market change. “Advanced technologies and a new generation of consumers are driving massive disruption across most markets, particularly as consumers demand instantaneous access and infinite customization,” he said. “These dynamics create complexities for customers and opportunities for Jabil to empower organisations, keep them relevant and ensure competitive advantage.”
It is obvious to all who have read both posts.
End of Discussion
So you say "no" cause if it is "yes" then we would already have heard about Nypro involvement.
No one can argue with that logic, your on your own with that one.
That's definitely possible, won't surprise anyone if some manufactures contract lqmt directly to make parts, just like MA knife, small start but its never happened before.
Absolutely, thats how i see it, lqmt is now very flexible and willing to do what the customers want, to learn from potential customers whats the best way to get lqmt into markets, and those pesky NDA's keep us out of the loop for now.
Had they any intention of going the liquidmetal route, they would already be on board as a contract mold-maker.
The point is, if Jabil were going to go this route, then they would use their own in house mold maker to do so and not go to LQMT for mold design. In fact, Nypro could teach RSM a lot more than LQMT could teach Nypro Jabil.
It could also be the Apple patents granted today regarding liquidmetal, Gamesc posted the link earlier.
http://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2015/05/apple-granted-a-patent-for-the-creation-of-liquid-metal-screws-for-devices-like-apple-watch-and-beyond.html
Another common question, why have no CLMs or certified Liquidmetal manufacturers come onboard? Our strategy has evolved; customers with an interest in the technology want direct access to Liquidmetal and may prefer to have their first parts produce directly by Liquidmetal. In some cases, they have indicated explicitly that they do not want to be obligated to by parts through a CLM. In other cases, they have specific suppliers that they prefer to work with. We are moving at a much more careful and deliberate pace. Now we do not view CLM development as a critical next step in our evolution but rather has a strategic effort to develop strong collaborative partnerships with companies that are viewed as a desirable by our customers.
Our customers have been both vocal, our customers have been both vocal and invaluable in offering guidance with respect to the identification of strong candidate CLM companies.
Maybe i should join his parish, get me some extra shares lolz
New iPhone6s rumour
7.The bending issue will be improved by using different casing materials and internal mechanical design changes
Those RFQ numbers are going to skyrocket for June, after the MA knife and Engel show, should be good news.
Lqmt also did a good job building trust internally with the MSR’s because they spend their own money to make these contracts happen, awesome way to have motivated sales representatives without all the expenses. Smart move for a cash strapped company.
Mesa complex is always a possibility thanks to the Apple partnership, i have a crazy theory here, what if another certified LM licensee is Jabil, they use Engel machines, bought a healthcare supplier,
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2013-02-04/jabil-to-buy-nypro-for-665-million-to-add-health-care-products
http://www.nypro.com/
http://www.ebnonline.com/author.asp?section_id=1084&doc_id=272427
are expanding in San Jose, they have a "customer experience center that will demonstrate Jabil's experience and capabilities,"
http://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2014/08/18/jabil-leases-sobrato-building-in-south-san-jose-to.html?page=all
It wouldn’t take much to converts a few of Jabil’s Engel machines to use lqmt,
or order new ones to work alongside other Engel machines on the factory floor,
lqmt then becomes another part of the entire production line, no need to convert everything to lqmt,
-lqmt making lots of parts that go into other products, a small piece of that pie is Huge :)
Jabil is also alleged to supply Apple, not the best link but its more informative of Jabil’s scope and reach.
http://9to5mac.com/2013/09/05/china-labor-watch-levels-numerous-labor-law-violations-at-alleged-apple-supplier-jabil-circuit/
Jabil seems to actively seek joint manufacturing partnerships with companies to sell products.
http://www.jabil.com/
http://www.lse.co.uk/AllNews.asp?code=r2mgf1t5&headline=Flowgroup_Losses_Widen_But_Remains_Positive_As_It_Prepares_Boiler_Launch
so yeah i’m waiting for Jabil to use lqmt or get an order to supply its use in a product, and then its a happy time for all :)
I believe long term lqmt is looking for manufacturing companies to licenses lqmt then go and buy all the Engel machines and BMG they need, lqmt just collects royalties. These small tactical contracts greatly help promote what lqmt is now capable of.
just to remind everybody, these are for the most part by Paul and/or MSRs who are paying their own way, see the opportunity and are paying their own expenses until such point in time they get orders and restart shipments because we don't pay them until that happen.
Indeed its great news, especially when you consider that potential customers must have been pessimistic and tired of hearing that lqmt is the new wonder material, being told that for several years but seeing nothing and knowing that lqmt had management issues must have turned away a lot of customers in the past, but yet here they are returning in ever increasing numbers, that part shows how much confidence customers have in lqmt now.
what we've seen objectively the past couple of quarters is very encouraging. 50 customer visits, more than we had all last year;
I wish I could take group of investors to actually see the response this technology gets in the market. Obviously I can't do that,
Yes, this is a very significant progress, and yes, it has been a long time in coming but is important to remember the critical importance as a foundation that we put in place over the last several years. Based on our earlier experience with the technology, we made a decision to shift from dye casting to injection molding in 2009 which turned out to be a dramatic but necessary shift resulting in lower cost machines with more repeatable manufacturing parameters available from a world-class supplier.
recognizing that and the fact that we need to get shipments out the door this year and next year tactical opportunities, things like the knife order from Miltner Adams, sporting goods and fire arms probably round out the bulk of other ones that we've looked at."
They were spread most significantly between medical
I believe he means the specifications where overhyped.
We all know he is connected, even saw him talk about it in a youtube video and i am still glade he is out of the picture, Steipp is doing a fantastic job getting lqmt back to commercialisation, my point about the name dropping is that its good to see Vmatter/Kang use lqmt to try and elevate themselves, gives more credibility to lqmt.
Are you certain which composition of BMG was allegedly delivered to Applied - talented-tv's former DD which he's now saying is speculation?
I cannot prove you wrong, anymore than anyone might be able to prove anything related to Applied is right.
Great link thanks, Kang looks like a wanna be physicist while Dahl looks like Mr Monopoly only missing the top hat.
