I believe the 10K is due 45 days from the end of the fiscal and it would include any financing transactions ocurring within the last quarter.
I wonder how many shares Ontheedge has sold now? LOL
"If the technology is revolutionary there will always be investors."
Does CDEX have technoilogy? Yes, however, I don't believe the technology is revolutionary, on the contrary, I believe it is a no more advanced (and in some cases less advanced) than other fluorimeters selling on the market today which is NOT what the company and stock promoters have lead investors to believe about their "technology platform" IMO. That includes the PP investor.
Granted, the software and packaging are unique since it has been designed specfically for a niche market, but as it turns out, that niche market HAS BEEN SERIOUSLY LIMITED, by the realization that CDEX must license the technoloy from another company. That license is LIMITED to a small percentage of the potential market once advertised- liquids only. I believe that has hurt CDEX tremendously.
Why have PP investors stopped investing?
Has Baxa exercised their stock option?
Why the doom and gloom here:
http://quotes.barchart.com/texpert.asp?sym=cexi
Why the blitz of promotional advertising by Loch/CDEX stock promoter, Capnmike?
Somethings up IMO. Good luck to the honest investors.
Here's what I have never waivered from and still what to know:
WHERE IS THE TRACE EXPLOSIVE DETECTION AT GREAT STAND-OFF DISTANCES? WHERE IS THE REAL REVOLUTUIONARY TECHNOLOGY? OUR COUNTRY NEEDS THE ORIGINAL TECHNOLOGY ADVERTISED BY LOCH HARRIS AND CDEX!!!
LOL! You mean something like dis:
"In my opinion MP was here for one reason only and that was for the boyz. He did his job and now he is retired with millions of our shares. The master plan that everyone said couldn't be true seems to be more real everyday."
It appears we have a new alias pulling rank on our Loch/CDEx stock promoter, Capnmike.
"Where o'where has ontheledge00 gone?"
Honestly, I think Loch/CDEX management pulled him from the boards after the SOL expired.
He was doing more harm than good, not even the stock promoters and insiders that post could afford to tarnish their reputation and back up his absurd stories.
"We Loch Harris investors can not blame CDEX for our stupidity..."
Are you proud that who've held long?
The insiders and stock promoters are very proud of you and thank you for your loyalty.
I got out late, but I still got out at 4.50-5.00 CDEx- around .10-.11 Loch.
Took a right-off too.
The Loch/CDEx insiders are right proud of ya'll Longs!
Crow, do you remember Griffin's predictions? 50 million/year in 2008... 100 million/year by 2011?
Congrats Paige, your daugther sounds very talented... not that you haven't been telling us all that for a while now! LOL
I've observed that the intensity that Capnmike promotes CDEX on this message board is directly proportional to the degree of bad news about CDEX.
The more the stock promoters spam, the more troublesome the condition of the company.
Over half of the last 50 posts are advertisement by Capnmike and the PPS dropped two centavos.
"We need an announcement or something to argue over.'
We most certainly do not!
Let us know Crow. eom
High C,
"There may be a dam good reason (besides lack of money) why they now seem to be kissing cousins."
Kissing cousins? LOL
The way I see it only one cousin is doing the kissing and it ain't lip-to-lip IYKWIMAITYD.
Look what capnmike posted to me!!
"If you have a position in CDEX, I hope it meets your expectations and you find peace."
"If that's not loving me, then all I've got to say is...
God didn't make little green apples
And it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime
And there's no such thing as Doctor Seuss
Or Disneyland, and Mother Goose, no nursery rhyme...."
- Lyrics by O.C. Smith
http://www.lyricsdepot.com/o-c-smith/little-green-apples.html
High C, that's a very good question, how do YOU know the PP investors are intelligent?
Do they have enough financial security to qualify as PP investors? Apparently.
Intelligent? I don't know, do you? Have you read the original CDEx prospectus? Others can verify this, but I believe the CDEX forecast was to have eight figure revenues at THIS TIME- NOW.
What happen? The original revolutionary tech is back-burnered RIGHT AFTER 911 and replaced with a common fluorimeter which turns out to require a license from the inventor in order to sell into the targeted niche (application) market.
Do you think that may have been the straw that broke the camel's back with PP investors?
One thing I do know is that they appear to be smarter now than when they first invested.
We all are.
BTW, you made a couple good points in your last post to me but I'm not going to tell you which ones they were! LOL
"I hope you find peace" Well thank you very much Capnmike.
LOL! Are you trying a new approach, a new angle from:
"...you certainly seem to be uneasy, or unhappy, or frustrated..."
I must say, you're new approach is much more personable. "This is very pleasing" to d4diddy!
" This is very pleasing..." CapSpeak LOL!!
How a nice weekend Cappy. Be good.
Sanddollar, just like Valimed has fallen far short of being all that it could have been... errr, according to the stock promoters anyways, so we read all the wonderful things the meth gun can be and wonder what it will become.
That's the realistic picture.
"I believe the future could be extremely rewarding."
I believe this investment has already been extremely rewarding for you.
However, that topic is irrelevant. Regardless of what the future may hold, investors that claim to be "Long" and have been holding a position while the PPS goes from $6.00+ to under a penny are not using the wisest investment decisions IMO. That was my point, not what you believe about the future.
{i}"...you certainly seem to be uneasy, or unhappy, or frustrated..."
LOL! You must have that phrase in one of your "favorite" folders for instant spamming! As much as it seems you would enjoy that from the many times you post those words, I am in none of those emotional states.
Entertained, intrigued, amazed are more accurate descriptions. Also disgusted with what people will do and say when greed controls their actions.
Valimed is what it is and will need to be a lot more than it is now to live up to the hype which stock promoters like yourself have published on investment message boards.
I once said we need to give Valimed more time to be fair in evaluating the market potential. I still do, but I also realize the potential has been seriously limited by Valimed being confined to a licensing agreement for liquids only.
AFA the glowing reviews about Valimed which you continue to spam, I've been told that CDEX has paid professional consultants promoting Valimed. Consultants are paid to make those glowing reports otherwise they go hungry. Loch Harris also used paid professional consultants, of course, much more blantantly.
I beleive that ASD has their scopes set on a low cost validtion instrument for solid dosage form prescription drugs-that's 90% of the market. No wonder CDEX put their counterfeit drug validation device "on the back-burner".
I noticed you don't advertise that anymore.
Keep up the good work promoting the meth gun. Just don't try to over sell it with wishful thinking and irrelevant links, that game has been played out.
Rottenapple, wasn't this Capnmike the same person that posted years ago that he had his whole life savings invested in this penny stock?
Why on earth do some people proudly claim that they're still holding as if it's a noble thing to do, when in fact, it's got to be one of the stupidest investment decisions you can make. Especially was a penny stock with the ugly history of Loch Harris.
Remember how these same people were posting about the bright future of Loch Harris and that they're "Long"... as the PPS slowly waned from 4.00+ to under a dime?
And what were the insiders doing the whole time? Shorting it and "making a fortune" off the skills of the paid, on-line stock promoters enticing investors to hold their positions!
What was Loch management doing at the same time? Dangling new carrots like the VAMMP. Loch advertised how wonderful VAMMP was, but never even had a prototype. It was a concept product. I remember how they played the late arrival of the "crystal" to death, then announced the "blip on the oscilloscope screen". That was as far as VAMMP ever progressed.
Are we witnessing the same type of play today as took place in the past? I think so.
A new stock promoter, Capnmike. A different style than Tomscheboy, but a stock promoter all the same.
All the wild speculation, innuendos and connect-the-dots has produced nothing. We have Valimed, but at this point, nothing nearly as grandiose as advertised by the company and it's stock promoters. The brazen advertising about saving the world from the crisis of counterfeit pharmaceuticals has been embarrassingly reduced to the requirement of obtaining a license from the inventor for liquid medication use only.
Remember "ELF will save the children from land mines". Does CDEX still post land mine "crisis news " on their website?
Counterfeit pharmaceuticals and "trace explosive detection at great stand-off distances" have been put on the same back-burner as the ELF/EM-1, VAMMP and the PS3. Hmmm, I wonder when we'll get the funds to bring them back? LOL
So what's it now? The meth gun. Once Missouri accepts it "the reasonable conclusion is that every state will buy them" There'll be at least one in every department in the country. (Of course Butterfly will "make believe" like with Valimed and post that there'll be one in every cop car.)
INET says I'm wrong, there is no similarity between Loch and CDEx. I say BS. The only difference is Loch/CDEX is/was under investigation and they wouldn't dare do the things they once did, other than that, I see little difference.
A penny stock with company shares being their primary product. A company with a new carrot right around the proverbial corner which will solve the latest nation/world crisis.
We'll see soon enough.
Looks like High C and the rest are going to have a new shareholder to admire soon.
lmorovan said he'd buy in at .27! LOL
Thank you Xeno, I shoulda read ahead before posting! DuOH!
Detroit77, if this world class patent attorney that you are referring to chooses not to express his or her opinion I would suspect that it's because the qusetion is so obvious that it doesn't warrant an answer, or the question may be too specific to the ASD/CDEx settlement and it's a matter of professional ethics.
Just my guess.
But from a layman's view, I would tend to agree with Wasp, If for whatever reason, CDEX stops royalty payments but continues to sell Valimed, ASD can once again sue for infringement. And of course, CDEX can counter sue for patent invalidity.
Although on second thought, I'm not sure how the "with prejudice" fits into the above picture. Maybe the law suit would be for breach of contract. Don't know.
"Faster than you think from what you've posted..."
Still, I realistically don't think we'll see any significant sales until late '07 or into '08 and that's if the meth gun works well with no major kinks to iron out.
The history of this company, which so many investors would like to ignore, tells us it is a very BIG IF!
It's certainly not going to save the company through revenues, only investors.
Paige,
"Does being "fully licensed under" ASD's patent mean that our patent is strengthend against infringment claims of future other companies patents...if they say we infringed on them at a later date?"
What do you mean "our patent"? What CDEx patent are you referring to, the "x-ray/at least about one meter" patent?
If so, that patent has little to do with medication validation IMO.
As for the pending patents, well... we're going to have to wait and see how the settlement may or may not effect the granting and/or utility of those applications. I've been wondering about that.
In any case Paige, you need to ask a qualified PA like Xeno, not me.
I don't know sheet! LOL
The meth crisis is nothing new for Japan, there has been a generation abusing the drug since it's extensive use in WW II to pump the troops in battle.
Google it.
LOL Nolajo, yep, we have equivocal CEO statements, disingenuous posters asking leading questions and pretentious on-line stock promoters spamming any news topic remotely related to the newest crisis saving gadget being advertsied to shareholders.
It's a penny stock circus with all the players.
Same blueprint as Loch Harris, 'cept CDEX has actually made a few sales.
Paige,
"If they ""dismissed"" each others claims then we had no infringment."
ASD sued CDEX and asked for compensation for CDEX infringing on one or more of ASD's patent claims.
CDEX said they weren't infringing, that it's their technology and ASD's patent is invalid.
Settlement Agreement: CDEx is acknowledging the validity of ASD's patent and is paying a royalty fee as sought by ASD.
"If they ""dismissed"" each others claims then we had no infringment."
Correct, CDEx agreed to license the technology from ASD, therefore CDEx is no longer infringing.
"Being invalid takes away the right to even have the patent in the first place...Doesn't it?"
I believe so, unless there is some type of severability clause that may reject certain claims, but continue to enforce others. Might ask Xeno about that.
Shucks Rottenapple, twas nothing. LOL

Viking65, while you were quick to announce the dismissal of the infringement law suit, it would appear that you failed to post the terms of the settlement agreement on the two other boards that you moderate, the "Valimed" board and the "CDEX (Old)" board.
Musta slipped your mind.

Matt has faith in you, don't let him down.
"Remember how Griffin indicated that the meth gun will also produce revenue streams? Could we see a similar type of revenue stream with the meth gun and a tipping point at which almost every police department in the country has several of these units?"
Similar to what? The anticipated Valimed revenue stream?
About the meth gun revenue stream Griffin said: "...but that's WAY in the future..."
Now , I know why the insiders don't want to talk about the past. They're using the exact same tactics over, and over, and over again. Tactics which produced nothing but the sale of shares.
"...there'll be a Valimed in every Mom and Pop pharmacy in the nation..."
"... there'll be a Valimed in every nursing unit in a hospital..."
Yawn.......
"NIR is better for analyzing solids, UV is better for liquids"
What is the meth gun using? UVF for solids.
What is this portable gun using? NIR for solids:
http://www.polychromix.com/details_phazir_bluebox.php?ID=22
Griffin's vision for "way in the future" is as close as visiting another company's website today! LOL
"I wonder how many of those hospitals actually paid for the ValiMed?"
You can bet that every hospital considered a "partner" was not a straight sale.
Then you have the hospital staff that were hired by CDEX to get Valimed to work properly in the pharmacy environment.
Next comes the paid professional consultants used By CDEX just like they did in the past with the ELF scam.
That provides enough ingredients for the "compensated", on-line stock promoters to season to taste, then endlessly spam the glowing reports for potential investors to read... while in the mean time... Valimed continues to sell very slowly into a niche market at a dramatically reduced price.
But of course Valimed is only a side dish, what's really cookin' is the sales of stock as usual.
That's how all the insiders are lining their pockets as any resonable person already knows.
"Negatives.. They are outa money.
They advertise many things that they ain't got..'
Yeah, but they think about 'em and put their thoughts in PRINT. If that's all ya gotta do to sell stock why inthehell would ya build 'em?
Griffin states that "the reason we've picked 300 beds or larger hospitals is because those hospitals will have a high usage rate of the cuvettes..."
Yeah right, sure it is Griffin, you're targeting the big hospitals just to sell more of the cuvettes and not because very few smaller hospitals can afford to buy a picee of equipment for supplemental quality assurance! LOL
Ya'll best be lowering the price of those things so ALL hospitals can afford 'em, not just the cream-of-the-crop.
It appears as if the price skimming strategy of the newly launched Valimed was short lived. Not enough buyers at the 80K, even a 38% discount doesn't seem to be generating sales.
That's what can happen with a highly niche product, you're assured some sales, not a lot, just some.
Have they learned their lesson? NO! The meth gun will only detect meth at first, then a few other substances later.
Ahura's FirstDefender can detect over 2500 drugs, explosives and haz mats and can do probable analysis on over a million combinations of chemicals. It can see thru glass and plastic containers as well as open air.
How can the meth gun possibly compete? Answer: It detects trace amounts of meth in open air.
Another niche market. Good news, they're guaranteed some sales if it works reliably.
Well RA, looks like some of the True CDEX Long posters agree with you:

Not a single trade at the ask...all at 38 cents...must presume all sells...yet bid and ask remains stable.
Very much different from recent action, where a sell for very few shares would often lower the bid.
Do you or anyone else have an explanation? Something's fishy.

It looks like last weeks big volume day (200,000+ shares) was nothing more then some insider unloading more shares. At this point if you dump 37,000 shares at 0.40 it still sounds ok if you expect the price to deteriorate even further. Something stinks and it is getting worse.
No updates on funding, no new sales announced, no money for travel and now weeks after the conference call when Griffin said there were 3 financing options on the table.
At this point in order to bring in 2 million dollars they would have to sell shares for a very low price. They may be backed into a very serious corner.
With each passing day the options become less appealing and survival all the more difficult.
Sorry to be negative, but the facts are the facts.
