Consolidation time.
I don't remember the last time ESPN has broadcasted a show in 3D?
Remind me, hasn't major networks like ESPN already cancelled showing events in 3D?

Agreed. If we get the announcement around then like I think we will, I think we definitely see .50 by Thanksgiving and then on our way to $1+ land.
I think there is a very good chance we hit .40 - .50 by Thanksgiving. I believe we definitely get an announcement regarding the NP-1s and being shipped before Christmas.
I agree with Mini Me. 3D was not successful due to the inconvenience of having to wearing glasses and getting dizzy watching hours on end. They tried it a long time ago and it failed and it failed again. 4k is the real deal since more and more people are buying bigger flat panels where the 4k resolution would definitely get rid of the pixelation. In addition people are wanting resolution similar to the retina display.
It's going to blow thru that. This stock is officially on fire again!

The way we're chugging along this very well could be at .50 by Thanksgiving especially on the announcer of the NP-1s! I think we might get a mini pull back/accumulation sometime or another in the very short term.
Well if NTEK can continue to execute their plans successfully, I have no doubt in my mind this will be a 1.50 - 2 stock by next year at this time, possibly even more. Just take a look and see what NFLX is valued at even after a huge dump today. If NTEK can reach a fraction of the market cap, imagine the possibilities.
Power hour time. Above .16?
I think we can all agree that .25-.50 is very obtainable by Thanksgiving.
What's the minimum pps required to be up listed?
I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see this at 1.50 - 2 range at this time next year. IMO
I personally don't want to see that extreme of a run. I would rather keep seeing a steady increase although eventually a big run will happen. IMO
Vizio used to be a very small company that nobody heard of until they made their mark by selling televisions for reasonable prices in Walmarts. Tivio kind of started the whole trend of being able to record tv shows and they weren't some huge company.
Where did you pull that quote from?
And dilute and drive the price down even more. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures. It's about the Reduce It results now which are a ways off.
This should run to .5 by end of year or early next year. I think we hit dollar land by next summer although I could see us it hitting dollar land a lot sooner if we get some big time revenues next quarter.
This might have topped out.
Man I feel for some of the original people that held on this stock thru the good times and the bad times. I remember buying into this stock around $11 with so much promise and potential. I really enjoyed reading the articles by Steve Rosenman. I remember when it shot up to around $15 after approval of the MARINE. I eventually got impatient and sold at around $6.50. I remember telling myself I was going to buy back in before the ANCHOR decision and didn't realize the decision was made this early. Maybe Joe should have taken the $18 -22 buyout offer (whatever was offered to him).
I have Ameritrade as well and have been using them for a long time. It is kind of frustrating how long it takes your funds to clear before you can buy more shares.
Loving the price action!
Wow the price keeps dropping. I can't believe the price right now.
Yes I was referring to huge increase in FYQ2 and FYQ3 earnings. I still think they get the NP-1 out the door in time for Christmas as the Foleys know how important that could be to revenue. Nonetheless, I think the big revenue will be generated off the streaming service (including advertising) and 4k Studios, in addition to the NP-1 box. 4k should really start to catch on over the holidays, as a lot of major television companies will start promoting this technology. By next year sometime, the price should start to come down a little bit on some of the major brands of televisions. The Foley's are smart and know the direction television is heading towards, which is online. More and more people are getting very frustrated with cable companies continuously raising rates and people would rather watch tv when they want to. There are so many people I know that have discontinued their cable all together and rely strictly on the internet and Netflix. Next year is the year that I think we really see NTEK shine and see the rewards of all the hard work. IMO
When do you think it will happen?
Depending on when the NP-1s ship, the big jump in revenue should occur in Q2 and Q3.
Completely agree. That's what I keep preaching, the big revenue generators were not even included in the past quarter's financials. The next two quarters we should really start to see a huge increase in revenue.
Exactly.....two steps forward, one step back. The pattern of the chart is setup beautifully! A lot more stable then the price just shooting up all at once (although it's only a matter of time before a huge run happens).
I'm keeping mine as this party is just getting started. Gotta love the flippers and MM's games. This is just getting warmed up as the big PR's have not even been released yet. This about to transition from the developmental stage of the company to reaping the rewards for all the hard work put into building the 4k infrastructure. The big revenue will come from the NP-1s, advertising (from streaming) and from 4k Studios.
With Ntek stocking Seiko flat panels in their warehouse, in addition to Mr. Foley buying more shares, this tells me that an announcement/update will happen very soon now on the NP-1s. Honestly, I would be scared to be sitting on the sidelines as this stock could start going parabolic at anytime.
My guess is this should be at a quarter by Thanksgiving and possibly .50 by early next year. Then on to $1+ land by next summer. IMO.
Not a chance unless game changing news comes out in the mean time!
Exactly, that's the key is all major brands have 4k technology set in motion and will be coming out with it over the holidays.
That doesn't surprise me at all. More and more of my friends are strictly subscribing to Netflix and other various online sources for TV shows. People are getting fed up with constant rate increases by cable companies, in addition, they can watch the shows on their time.
4K/Ultra high def is the next step up from 1080p/hi def. I heard somebody talk about how it's already prevalent over in Japan when they were over there recently. I've seen VERY few articles mention anything about 8k and if they do, it's like one sentence. I agree, the human eye probably can't distinguish much more than 4k.
It's only a matter of time where we will start seeing 30-50% days.
I love the stair step/gradual action this stock has taken in the past month or so. Very healthy price action. With it getting closer to the holidays, it's only a matter of time before a huge run happens, where we get those 30-50% price increase days. .50 - $1 by early next year. IMO
Some interesting articles discussing 4k:

I would like highlight one of the sentences in one of the articles that makes 4k seem promising over 3D:
Well, the arms race is over. While 3D services have either been cancelled (ESPN) or suspended (BBC), Ultra HD – and 4K in particular – have been catching on, or at least garnering headlines. - See more at: http://www.tvtechnology.com/article/k-vs-d-at-ibc-/221012#sthash.FRFgMIz3.dpuf
