Mr.NNVCLOVER.Looks like one might need an Ornithologist to help track that portfolio as it seems to be "flying south" for the winter.
No thanks. That portfolio is about as exciting to watch as watching dust accumulate. In fact some "Pledge or Endust" might be usefull right about now as it is looking rather "Dull"
As for me,I'll lead off my portfolio with NNVC thank you very much.
BTW , S.C.A.M. is a great acronym for NNVC thanks for comming up with it!
"Superior Company And Management!!!!!" I LOVE IT!!!!!
Keep up the excellent suggestions!
Thanks. You're very astute and I respect your thoughts.
I do what I can with what I have.I have no time during the day to make corrections in my trading strategy.I have to do what I do before the market opens and hope for the best.I don't usually get home before the market closes.
I also don't feel comfortable with after hours trading.
"One day at a time".
I know you asked Mr.Dane and I'm sure he will give you a good educated answer.
I would like to weigh in even though I haven't been here as long as the others.
First of all this is a "Non Marginable" security. There are investors like me who try and come up with the money to buy and after selling the odds and ends and whatnot , we then have to wait 48 hours for the money to transfer from the bank acct. to the brokerage acct. Then it has to "clear"for 3 days to buy "Non Marginable" securities.Quite a time lag.
Also as a OTC/BB stock it is volatile.Traders are sometimes like cattle. One head starts to stampede and the whole herd follows without knowing why.
Other quirks involve "stop loss" triggers. When people use these they may be giving shorts and the herd mentality the opportunity to sweep up your shares during a sell off , creating a bigger sell off in the process.
I guess what I am saying is that I don't worry if I got the stock at the lowest possible price.I look at where the stock will ultimately go and buy within a price range.
I believe you are well within a "bargain" price range.
Stabilizing over $2.00 and listing on the major exchanges will help but it will take higher share prices to slow and stop the short attacks.Look at BTX for example over the last 1 1/2 yrs.
I don't try to sell at $1.50 and buy at $1.25 as that could backfire so I hold what I buy and buy more as conditions permit.
You are right. The management and science is sound.Buy with confidence and don't sweat the volatility.Ride it out.
Respectfully ,Shamus
If you're looking to buy it's doing fantastic!
That's where I interpret that he may know things beyond what I or we may know.
Does that seem reasonable to interpret it that way?
Sorry. The quote begins with "Knowing that ....." to the end .
Also refer to my thoughts a few days ago post # 44539.
So you don't missunderstand my statement , here is a snippet from an interview.
Knowing that these tests were ongoing and results were forthcoming, my colleague Ray Blanco and I had previously set up a conference call with the company. Besides CEO Dr. Eugene Seymour, we were joined by Dr. Randall Barton, the company’s chief scientific officer and Dr. Anil Diwan, the chairman and president. I’ve told you before about Diwan, the platform’s chief inventor, and Seymour. Barton was previously director in drug discovery research at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. There, he was deeply involved in the discovery and initial evaluation of nevirapine, which was approved by the FDA for the treatment of HIV in 1996.
I used that conference call primarily to confirm my understanding of the press release. We strayed beyond that, but I’ve decided not to address topics outside the content of that press release, for a number of reasons.
First, the content of the press release is so historic, it’s absurd to gild the lily. Second, it might trigger a requirement that the company file with the SEC regarding new public information. I don’t want to force them to do that
As I mentioned before.I subscribe to P.Cox's BTA.
He is in close communication with the companies he has recommended and is privy to information that I (we) would not be privy to.
He has recommended the selling of companies that have met his criteria for such a call.
Mr.Cox has an excellent reputation for his service and I'm sure he knows a lot of the "behind the scenes" activities that he can't release.
Based on that knowledge and his forthright honesty with his readers,I trust his judgement and his recommendations.
As long as he says hold,I will hold.
Hope this helps.
Not parroting Seymour. Those are my own thoughts.
As to your question,I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
What are your feelings about this stock.
I'm sure you know the science and Mgt.etc..
I assume this is more of a "business" for you than it is for me.
You know, buy , sell make money , trade trade etc.
That is not my approach.
What is your "gut" feeling about this technology and this company.
Where will this technology be in 5 years?
If you answer honestly you are either a trader or an investor.
Neither is good or bad but there is a difference.
Believing comes after doing DD.But believing is everything.
If you can't be a believer after DD then it's not the right match.
Thou knowest not what thou playeth with.
You evidently do not know or appreciate the science involved. If you did ,you would know this is a breakthrough technology that will demolish
existing therapies.
This is the equivalent of discovering penicillin and we are in the early days of the process.
The beauty is that penicillin affected only bacterial infections.
There are thousands of viral infections that NNVC can address.
Each worth billions more than we give credit for.
Correction accepted.Please apply corrective applications.
BTW are the marital relations now as vibrant as they were in VA.
If so YEEE HAHHHAAA! Keep it up!!!!!(Pardon the pun)
I know what you mean by the "fairer gender" but we are still in the same common thought pool.
NNVC is going to make Google look like a "second thought".
Everyone here is panicking over a drop in price and the 50DMA and the lack of news and the next lower support level.
No one pays attention to the science of NNVC and the IP of the company and the comming news from tests and if they do they put it on the back burner.
Everyone is impatient , wanting results NOW,NOW , NNOOWW.
I'm a newbie compared to others here but NOTHING but NOTHING comes when you demand it.It comes when it comes.BUT IT WILL COME!
I understand.Life goes on.We all have different opinions and approaches to life and it all comes out in the wash.
I'm just saying that when you really believe in a company like NNVC you MUST hold and BELIEVE!!
If you can't then you're in the wrong game and get out.
I BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As Weeeeeeeeeedieeee says , GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NNVC!!!!!!!!!!
Right you are
I appreciate your thinking.
I don't fret when the price drifts lower though,I just buy more if I have the means to do it.
When (Not if) the SP is $100 , I'm not going to worry about how many shares I got at $1.50 vs $1.05
If I sell at $1.30 , my luck would be a rally back to $1.50
If I buy at $1.30 my luck would be a drop to $1.05
I'm not going to worry about buying below $2.00/share as it is a terrific bargain when the SP is $100 in a couple of years.
I'm just going to keep buying and accumulating as I can as long as I can while the prices are at this "Bargain Basement" level.
Look at Google with a sp over $600 and Berkshire hathaway with a sp of $125,000/share.Their market caps are under 200B.
It wouldn't be a stretch to see NNVC be in the 1000's in 3-5 years.
Was buying under $2.00/share worth it? Me thinkith so.
Without any new NEWS , I just see "Downdrafts and sideways trading".
I'm not being pessimistic (In fact I would like to see it happen)
as I would like to use my Big-Fat-Tax Return to buy more!
Watch the SP start moving up about a week before Feb.15th.with a feeding frenzy just before the conference.
I like that.I've had a couple shots like that.
Check my post #44458 and #44441 Shamus
I don't know.I don't do that either. When I do something that works I find better ways to do it instead of just punching the same button over and over.
Even a successful method doesn't work forever.Perfection is a goal but never achieved.
I like your posts , you've been very contributing to this board so I was hoping it was just that.It was a little "fuzzy" the way it was written.
I respect your opinions and am glad you clarified the post. Thanks,Shamus
There are three meals a day.Lunch is only one of them. The other two , breakfast , lunch and even the in-between-meal snacks are about to be eaten as well.
I hope they have food stamps.
Refer to the definition of insanity."Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results".
Can you clarify this post about Dr.F?
Is this insinuating lying on his part?
Not knowing the intentions of this type of post makes it difficult to ask the right questions.
I will say that if Dr.F. is lying , he's only fooling himself. He's invested in NNVC as well so lying about things is only shorting himself as well.
There is a difference between lying and miss-stating something.
Dr.F. may be guilty of human errors as we all are but violating "Good Faith" dissemination of information and ideas is definately not part of his "profile".
Any way of finding how far down the pipeline they are?
You may or may not agree with me but without "news" , the stock seems to stagnate and become short bait or just drift lower.
I'm not complaining because I hope to funnel my tax return into more shares anyway.
Either way it's a win.
My concern is for those who won't view falling SP's as we do.
Keep in mind the example of BTX.They rose to $9.00 and got shorted back to half of that.
If NNVC takes off in Feb.and jumps to $2-4/share,they are still in "short territory".
I do believe that NNVC has so many cures in the pipeline that they could keep the PR's comming and leave the shorts in the dust if they time things right.
Basically , I think all they have to do is to prove their platform to the FDA and all the different diseases are a walk in the park.
Sign me up
I smell a lot of conflict of interest here.
What about reigning in the FDA and cutting costs for bringing new drugs to market.
If this is another beaurocracy being created , what's to keep the FDA from showing favoritism to it and against emerging companies like NNVC?
Emerging companies wouldn't have the capital to invest in their research as big pharma would.Where would individual investors like you and me be able to fit into this scheme?
On the surface it looks like the government is setting the stage against emerging and inventive and creative incentives and small investors existing now in the marketplace and replacing it with more government boredom and control.
They're trying to "help" in the health insurance debacle and look how they're screwing that up too.
Add social security / wellfare etc.etc.etc.
The government is like a camel.Once the camel gets its nose under the tent , the whole thing is comming down.
I say tell the Govt.to go back to the constitution and "Provide for the common defense" and stay the hell out of "The public's interests".
After 25 years in the RX biz myself , Hospital Ph./Retail and Wholesale Ph. I have seen my share of abuse and "shady" prescribers.I understand your "cringing".
I feel strongly about PRWP and have begun adding them to my (albeit small) portfolio.
I think you will see a lot of action with them before June this year.
As far as I know almost all of the major test results etc.(Dengue/HIV etc.)have been released over the summer/early fall.
Now awaiting journal publications.
Refer to Nanotoday's post #44328 and my response #44329.
Maybe Dr.F or someone else here can share some insight into any "background noise" that they may know of going on behind the scenes.
Otherwise , absent any short attacking , I see another "quiet period" before mid Feb.
If Cox has any new news I'll post it unles someone else does.
I am not in the mood to attack you as I have in the past.
Although you are as obnoxious as you have ever been you do fulfill a purpose in life as crocodiles do in the wild.
No one appreciates crocodiles and yet they do provide a service. They are the "garbage collectors" in the wild,as sharks are in the oceans.
Keep shorting and cleaning up the garbage from investors who keep giving you the "stop loss orders" and keep "renting"you their shares.
I appreciate the price dips you provide to buy more
Remember , crocodiles eat garbage but they do provide a service.
Keep eating your garbage and keep up the service you provide.
In case it hasn't dawned on you yet. BTX , NNVC and others in the Cox Que.You are fighting confirmed "believers" and not "surfers".
My post #44438 is the latest.
Any thoughts?
Toss up question to everyone.Open to opinions.
I don't want to have tunnel vision here but I am focusing on the upcomming Dengue journal report by Dr.EH and the Puerto Rico event in mid Feb.
Most of my news comes from P.Cox and watching this board.
Is anyone expecting PR's on other events/tests etc.before then?
Otherwise I see sideways trading or the possibility of SP drifting down during this quiet period with uptics a week or so in anticipation of Puerto Rico.
Looking forward to all your thoughts.
Thanks , kelto1 (Shamus)
An exerpt from Cox's latest report about short attacks.
The more transformational a technology is, the easier it is to get people doubting it. Take, for example, NanoViricides (OTCBB: NNVC). This company's remarkable technology combines nano-sized polymer structures with biological ligands -- nanoviricides. The ligands "signal" to the target viruses that they are inside human cells. The viruses attack these nanoviricides and are, in turn, dismantled and harmlessly removed.
I know this sounds like science fiction.
In fact, the company has proven the technology over and over in conjunction with some of the world's most important scientists. It's real. It works, and it will revolutionize the way medical science deals with a broad range of viruses. Viruses, incidentally, are only now beginning to be truly understood. It appears, in fact, that they play roles in conditions we never suspected, ranging from obesity to chronic fatigue syndrome. So NanoViricides' future is vast.
Nevertheless, there is a minor industry based on convincing investors that NanoViricides is some sort of hoax. For a long time, if you did a Google search on the company name, the top paid search results were screaming claims that the company was a scam. If you searched my name, it often returned accusation that I was part of the NanoViricides scam.
I wish, by the way, that I did own part of NanoViricides. I am prohibited by my arrangement with Agora Financial.
Dr. Eugene Seymour told me that he had tried to contact Google about putting an end to this slander, but could never get a response. Google's informal corporate slogan, by the way, is "Don't be evil."
Anyway, there are several reasons that people might attack a company in this manner. Some are probably simply trying to sell a report about NanoViricides, or at least get credit card information from people foolish enough to fall for the trick.
Sometimes, however, these tactics are part of a broader short attack. Many of you know, in fact, that these short attacks are taking place because you have been offered money to "rent" your shares. I hear about it constantly, and this does not happen to just NanoViricides. The last time I reported it, Pro-Pharmaceuticals was being targeted.
In general, the greater the company's potential, the more attractive it is to short attackers. If a company has generated a lot of "buzz," it is likely that a lot of "traders" have decided to buy shares. These people often know nothing about the company's management, technology or market potential. They're just surfing trends.
As a result, groups that specialize in short attacks can manipulate them. These groups are expert at spreading rumors. They seem to have people planted on the boards who can say just the right thing at just the right time to trigger a stampede.
When I lived in Silicon Valley, I knew quite well the man who was then Steve Jobs' CFO. He frequently described his job in terms of warfare. I was skeptical at first, but he convinced me that a group of people were waging war against him and his company. If he didn't fight back, they would succeed.
Why would anybody attack a company run by Steve Jobs? They did so because sophisticated traders, as you know, can make money by driving a stock price down. In the age of the Internet, with the means to reach millions of investors, this has become a serious problem. Normally, I try to ignore these attacks because they usually don't hurt the companies they attack. They hurt the investors who sell their stock at low prices.
Now where's that guy with the hotdogs , beer and popcorn?
The cheerleading at this game is phenominal but the concessions are lacking.Guess I'l have to raid my own fridge.
How is Danika doing in Fla.?
OK now it can run.I just managed to buy another 1K.(Sold the sword). How's everything?
I would love to see it before the Feb.festivities.I would love to buy more at that price.
