PG&E and authorities trying to figure out bullet holes and shot out arms (insulators) on transmission tower that started fire. Also another tower nearby.

It would have been helpful for them to have provided tables of oil and gas price forecast and also a table or chart showing sensitivity to different price scenarios. Also a reference to whose forecast they used if they did not generate it internally.
Subscription model for car users. Seems like a good choice for people that change cars frequently although I haven't looked at the economics.

Alberta energy regulator proposal to reduce production along with OPEC is difficult given the way the non-mining projects work. IMO the best thing OPEC can do is to opening the spigots wide and let the discipline fall where they may. It may come to that anyway.
Huawei - "disappearance" of Canadian ex-diplomat in China on day of bail hearing for Meng. Time to push for Taiwan independence or ONE Republic of China policy and buy some LMT and RTN shares.

Good about the pre crash sales. No so good after particularly Seminole (OXY will take it of course so OXY looks good) but I guess they need to fund Guyana. OXY bought out Altura years ago so now has excellent Permian land position. Plenty of deep potential at Seminole SA unit.
I haven't paid any attention. What assets did they find buyers for since early 2016. TIA.
Is that happening in the US already wrt PBM's? I certainly don't see it in generics pricing particularly if you get coverage through exchanges based upon personal experience. As much as 10X higher going through PBMs compared to self pay.
Chinese analysts consensus expectations going into reverse auction was 40% discount. Outcome is in the range of 50-70% discounts. China drug stocks taking big hits.
The biggest upside is Guyana (ie if they decide to sell). Bakken is low risk low reward gas dominated production that may find interest if offered up for sale. Everything else seems like hodge podge.
Neither IBB or XBI held lows from yesterday. SPX would not have held if not for oil related stuff rebounding. Feels like the end of the world.

Those 2 bio indices flashing green now.
ERIC/NOK having a nice day given the potential implications of arrest.
IMO I see a few signs that tax loss selling accelerating into this dump and finishing sooner than if Huawei arrest didn't happen. IBB and XBI for example.
WY - and some home builders holding up (for now) during this dump because of dropping yields. Bigger drawdowns over the last year in high end home builders tells a story IMO (TOL/LEN vs DHI/KBH).
My guess is that it couldn't hold the prior low of 1.45 from earlier raise the day after filing. So that would be a good enough reason for folks that trade based on charts. Insiders bought a quite a lot of the earlier raise at 1.50. We shall see whether tax loss selling can generate lower lows and what happens after that is over.
Any idea on pricing in China?
Sounds like a variation of what USC researchers have done in the lab using existing hair follicles stem cells. Latest survey from hair restoration society suggests that is the hope of the majority. Still somebody has to do the tedium whether harvesting or implanting.

Orwell again - American style. Palantir wants to monetize and that creates scary strategic business incentives.

Interesting analysis of news flow on controversial company (TSLA in this example). It gets really interesting when stock price movements are overlaid with percentage vs time chart. I haven't decided if the dog or tail is doing the wagging.

3M - Drinking water issue. I posted about this before and more details coming out. Going from bad to worse especially the part about management telling scientist not to put their thoughts into writing.

HAIR- down 35% since filing of ATM shelf on 11/27. Piper conference yesterday with not much new since Q3 report. ASP of legacy system around $220K. ASP of new implant capable system $270K. Average time savings on procedure ~1.5 hours clinician time, + support staff time. Robotic procedure charged out at ~20% premium compared to manual procedure.
Cash runway of ~12 months as of Q3 balance sheet. Nibbled some today.
Thanks. Didn't know it was getting done already (see link below). It must be part of Bayer now. What Deere has done with steering and GPS IMO is the easiest part. IE turning tractors into piloted robots. Even then, it needed to have MON add ons to do the seeding.

If they can offer AI farming services to optimize crop selection, that could be worth quite a lot.
Don't know if it was leverage or algorithmic driving volatility spike that caused the blow up. Seems like he could have handled the latter it if vertical spreads were used. It implies he wasn't a "hedged" fund but rather making directional bets on O&G prices using open ended puts and calls. He was long oil and short gas.

A statistical study of how well companies do after a newly hired CEO puts his own money on the table would be useful.
Yes. Luck is a big fudge factor. What are some more recent prominent examples of luck (ie discarded and picked up) in biotech?
They have the land position and deep water just can't compete economically until the stuff runs out which will be quite a while as it is not limited to US basins. CVX lucked into their Permian position as an after-thought via organic + Gulf + Texaco purchases so has enviable acreage. Funny thing was that E&P was dominated by deep water group think until independents smacked them with huge production numbers before divestiture plans got going.
I was referring to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in the prior post not a stock symbol. Sorry for the confusion.
The EV battery wars that are shaping up. The US needs 10 gigafactories for total EV penetration according to auto execs. That has implications for Tesla's lead and Musk's claim that they will get to $100/kwh cost by next year.

Still no signs of turnaround in TOL, LEN, DHI, KBH. KBH has held up the best but still trending down. Can HD and LOW by themselves hold up lumber?
How do the results from mdgl/vktx affect FxR's role - giving enta's version the benefit of the doubt of not raising LDL? Will whatever answer to the question require more clinical trial(s)?
I have a college roommate that works for them and up in the management ranks now. Lots of folks getting hurt. Some are writing that deregulation and privatization will solve this. Yeah sure, maybe that will solve thunder and lightning too. I converted my position to a strangle then closed the out put side when the credit line news came out. Tourniquet time.
