Kurt Bush had a strong performance today at the triangle in Pocono. Rusty Wallace finished second and Mark Martin third.
I see the Cubs evened it up today. 6-5 Chicago win. Got Prior (7-3) against Suppan (9-7)tomorrow.
You have our old ss. A very good one too Edgar Rentería.
I want a rematch Cardinals vs Red Sox in the World Series again this year.
Squeezzzzzeeeeeeee play. Luna scores on David Eckstein's squeeze bunt in the 11th inning. The Cardinals take the first of three against the Cubs at Busch Stadium.
The Cardinals vs The Cubs. Baseball doesn't get any better than that.
* Michael Waltrip's surprising announcement that he is leaving DEI at season's end begs several questions. Where is Waltrip going? Will NAPA go along?
Waltrip said he basically decided to leave because DEI vice president Richie Gilmore wouldn't commit to preserving the relationship between Waltrip and crew chief Tony Eury Jr.
All those developments immediately fueled speculation that Eury is headed back to Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s team. It could also mean that Eury will end up being Martin Truex Jr's crew chief when Truex moves up to Nextel Cup next year.
* The so-called "race to the chase" is broken up in three groups. The top three - Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle - basically have a post season berth assured. They have very little pressure on them for the remaining seven regular season races.
The next group is playing defense. Most of them have no victories this year. Rusty Wallace, Elliott Sadler, Mark Martin, Dale Jarrett and others are more concerned with consistency than victories at this point.
Then there's the third group, which includes prominent names like Jeff Gordon, Earnhardt Jr. and Matt Kenseth. They probably have to race aggressively, try to finish up front and hope they can finish all seven.
* Kentucky Speedway is suing NASCAR and International Speedway Corporation, alleging "monopoly" in the awarding of Cup dates. This is a serious, direct assault on NASCAR/ISC's absolute control.
The Francis Ferko lawsuit, whose settlement resulted in a second race date for Texas Motor Speedway, seems like small potatoes when compared to this one. It would seem risky for NASCAR and ISC officials to let it go to trial.
* Feud of the Week
Jamie McMurray vs Matt Kenseth
McMurray, competing for a Chase berth, blamed Kenseth for a crash that knocked McMurray's Dodge out of the New England 300 on lap 27. "Where he wrecked me was pretty deliberate," said McMurray. "I don't know what he was thinking."
That's cool. I wish there was a speedometer so we could see how fast he was going.
Cashed in my chips on Brunswick (BC) today.

It's at the upper end of it's recent trading range.
Haemonetics (HAE)a medical instruments & supply company is showing a bullish harami. It looks like it may be ready to resume its uptrend.

Pride (PDE) looking good. Hopefully we will see it test it's March highs.

Cardinals starter Chris Carpenter becomes the NL's first 14 game winner today. Carpenter outpitched Roger Clemens and held Houston to three hits in a 3-0 win. It was his fourth complete game and third shutout of the season.
The Cardinals are 9-2 against the Astros this year.
I like the way he climbed the fence after the race and took the checkered flag. Here's a picture.
http://www.nascar.com/2005/news/headlines/cup/07/17/tstewart.loudon/index.html
He's the man to beat right now. Things change fast in NASCAR though. A lot of people said the same thing about Jimmie Johnson earlier this year.
He was unbeatable today. He's the hottest driver right now.
Tony Stewart dominated the race in New Hampshire today leading 232 of 300 laps. This has moved him up to third in points. 85 behind Jimmie Johnson. Gregg Biffle is in second.
That would be Great news Martin coming back for one more season. The only thing better would be if he were to win the Championship this year and retire as NASCAR Champion.
That surprises me. Michael Waltrip has struggled this year but has had a lot of success driving for DEI in the past. I'm sure Waltrip won't have any trouble finding another ride.
* Over the last ten races, Tony Stewart has piled up more points than anyone else. Over that span, Stewart has scored 115 more points than Greg Biffle, who's second over the period. Stewart has finished second, first, first, and fifth in the last four races.
* A theme of the summer has been repeated tire troubles. This time Goodyear officials said the teams should've used "scuffed" tires, meaning that slightly used rubber was better than the new "stickers."
* Dogged consistency continues to benefit Rusty Wallace as he patiently works his way into the Chase. A 12th place finish at Chicagoland moved Wallace up from fifth to fourth in the points standings. Wallace has been running at the finish of 31 straight races.
* Kurt Busch moved into the top 10, while Dale Jarrett fell out. Eight races remain in the regular season.
* Feud of the Week
Kevin Harvick vs Greg Biffle:
This rivalry, which has flared up several times through the years, did so again when Biffle felt Harvick improperly tried to keep him a lap behind in the Busch Series race Harvick went on to win at Chicagoland Speedway. Biffle called Harvick "a chicken driver" and said no one else would have raced him that way.
poll at nascar.com
Will Jeff Gordon or Dale Earnhardt Jr. make the Chase for the Nextel Cup?
Both will 29%
Gordon only 14%
Earnhardt Jr. only 33%
Neither will 24%
poll is still open
NL wins. Albert Pujols = MVP.
I would be out of it before it gets to the gap. My target would be closer to the 200 day ema, maybe a little higher.
Me too. He's the best driver that hasn't won the championship. And he's an all around good guy. You can tell the other drivers have a lot of respect for him.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. got himself back into the points race with a win at Chicagoland. The difference in the race was the two tire change and quick work by the pit crew on the last stop. Matt Kenseth seemed to have the best car yesterday and finished second. I think the odds are still against Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon making the Chase this year. We got 8 races before the Chase begins.
Brunswick (BC) may be worth taking a look at tomorrow. It looks like it has stabilized from it's recent drop. And is showing positive MACD divergence from its April lows.

Stops should be placed below last Thursdays low.
Could be. I have so many cousins I can't keep up with them. lol
No. I'm from Arkansas too.
Thanks. Nice day in the market today. Maybe it will continue early next week.
Jack In The BOX (JBX) may be the type of swing trade this board is looking for.
http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=jbx,uu[h,a]daclyyay[pb50!b200][vc60][iUh14,3!La12,26,9]&...
JBX has pulled back to gap support. It is still in an uptrend above a rising 200 day ema. And stochastics (14,3) still oversold is beginning to rise.
Nice first half for Rusty Wallace (5th in points) and Mark Martin (8th). Hopefully they will both make it into the chase this year and finish their careers in style.
It looks like it. I haven't been able to get in either.
It was FedEx (FDX) that gave the P&F sell signal today taking the BPTRAN to 95. FDX will have to rise almost 7 points to give another buy signal.
http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.pnf?chart=FDX,P&pref=G
I agree. The NDX also has a P&F sell signal useing both the traditional and a 1% box.
http://stockcharts.com/webcgi/Pnf.asp?S=$NDX&N=A&C=2
http://stockcharts.com/webcgi/Pnf.asp?S=$NDX&Y=P&B=1&N=A&C=2
The NDX would have to go to 1640 on the traditional and 1643.97 on the 1% to give a buy signal
Sorry about that. Try this link.

P&F chart for BPNDX
The BPNDX still has a buy signal. The index would need to drop to 74 to reverse to a column of O's and give a bull correction signal.
I'm not Bruce but thanks for the link.
Is this what you are looking for?

According to CBS Marketwatch there's skepticism that OPEC will be able to cut their daily output by 1 million barrels per day. OPEC agreed to meet Jan 30 and could adjust the quota at that time.
FCEL
I see what you are saying now financialadvisor. After your post I looked at the 5 min chart of FCEL and saw the hammer. In my post yesterday I was thinking more of a multi day swing trade.
Good post even though it didn't work out this time.
FCEL I wouldn't touch it. It has gapped down twice since November. Both times on heavy volume. I May look for a double bottom around 7.25.
$SPX second try
