I've had a couple of late requests...yes, you can still send...but it does look like somewhere it's been suggested that emailing to the court, etc. would be suffient.
Ilene
You are all very nice...but when I think about the time that so many of you have spent here, doing dd and sharing with all of us, this project is a drop in the bucket!
Just for the record, I have had a couple of emails where the attachments were blocked, so no letter...and a couple of requests to remove, or add numbers, etc. It is very difficult for me to do that, so please don't be too annoyed if something slips past me.
You guys are great, and I swear if I get anymore "thank yous" I'll have to turn into the raving lunatic only my kids usually see :)
Hi everyone,
Back from work to log on...I have a total of approximately 200 letters that I will be delivering to the two locations I promised here in Wilmington, DE tomorrow (Trustee's office and the Court).
Three things...I am unable to send confirms to everyone, since there are just too many now to do. I apologize. It looks as though an email will suffice, so if you haven't already sent me a letter to print, can you send an email? I spent hours on this last night and today...will do the same tonight and tomorrow, and fear I won't be able to deliver on my promise if I get any more! The last thing...everyone has been so nice in thanking me...and I want to say how much I have enjoyed getting the nice notes...so thank you and you're welcome!!
Ilene
no problem!
you're welcome!
trying to send a quick response to everyone...if you don't get something back from me, I didn't get it! Ilene
To the board mods:
Can this be stickied until tomorrow evening?
I am willing to hand deliver letters here in Wilmington, to the Court(THJMW) and to the Trustee's office. If everyone who wants me to do that would please send your objection letter w/your name and address to lenikosa@yahoo.com by tomorrow evening, I will print them out and hand deliver on Thursday.
Ilene
no PM's sorry...do you have my yahoo address? lenikosa@yahoo.com
I am embarrassed to admit I am not following the thread close enough to understand if it's just an address and a name that's required, why it shouldn't just be an email, which I can print off...email is lenikosa@yahoo.com. if it needs to be actually overnighted...131 Continental Drive, Suite 102, Newark, DE
Attn: Wells Fargo/Ilene
great!
Strike, you're welcome!
Cool. Just let me know. I will keep checking back to get my marching orders :)
Ilene
I am here in Wilmington, but if we are now requiring authentic sigs as opposed to faxed or email...you'll need to send to my work, so I can be sure to get everything...let me know and I will provide address to anyone who wants it.
Ilene
I can take care of the Wilmington attorneys (I think I counted 5).
I will gladly deliver the letter(s) to the courthouse. I live only 5 minutes away, and have enough flexibility during the day that I can take care of this.
Thanks, Jimmy for posting the info again.
Ilene
Jimmy, up to you...and the offer stands for anyone else. my email is lenikosa@yahoo.com, and if you'd prefer to fax it, pls. send an email and I will respond with the number (it's a work number...)
Ilene
Hey guys...I am here in Wilmington and will gladly hand deliver any faxed letters to the court if you'd like.
I may try and go to this one. It's been awhile since the last hearing I went to.
FYI...If you hold your shares in street name with a brokerage, you probably checked off on a form somewhere whether or not you wanted to receive information from the companies whose stock you hold...I got my letter in the mail today...if you didn't receive one, call your broker and ask how to be included in future mailings.
What it may mean is that they are working through the night, or at least until midnight. Delaware has an electronic filing system for court docs and they can send up until midnight. My guess, although I certainly don't know for sure, is that all parties (including THJMW) are reading and submitting in preparation for tomorrow...whatever deadline the court imposed to have some of these motions, etc. filed. All IMO
If you go through a broker, he/she can buy CDs of different banks for you and you will still have the coverage on each CD up to the max., without having to go through all of that.
KS...looks like a place called Catherine Rooney's, about 3 miles from downtown has karaoke on Thursday nights. Did not see anything for Scrimmage's...sorry.
frustrated
no PM...but I have read your account...wish I had been there. Brembo and I showed up at an omnibus hearing a few months ago
maybe I'll see you there!
Yes, it is...maybe a block or two before you get to the hotel, on the other side of the street.
I have to admit that I am partial to the Hotel DuPont, elegant place to gather, not heavily frequented, reasonable drink prices. Also several places close to there, all within 5 or 6 blocks of the courthouse.
Of course, I am of a certain age where elegance is more my style :) But I can make suggestions from beer joint on up!
THJMW's courtroom is less imposing than our other courthouses in town. There is a metal detector you walk through, but I don't remember about the cell phone, since I used to volunteer in the family court and they weren't allowed there. It is a relatively small court room, with rows of wooden benches on either side when you walk in. I would suggest after the hearing is over, gathering in the lobby area as the easiest way to determine who is an i-hubber, especially if there will be alot of us there.
The court is accessible from either Market Street or King Street, and there is ample parking on both streets. There may be public parking under the building, entered on the King St. side of the courthouse. If you allow for 10 or 15 extra minutes, however, you'll find plentiful parking.
Wilmington is small, and there are several places close by to gather after the hearing if anyone is up for a drink. One hotel not too far on King St., plenty as you go out of the city, if you have a car. The train station is within walking distance, if you like to walk, otherwise a short cab ride away.
Obviously, I live here in Wilmington! I am happy to answer any questions, and assuming I can have my kids arrange for a ride home from school that day, I'll be at the hearing.
let me know if you need any info on the area
Wish I could go, since I am right here, but have a board meeting scheduled for noon on Monday. If anyone is in town and needs info on anything, let me know!!

I thought so too, at first, but then it looked like it was a transfer from one of our accounts to another. I have to admit, I am reading it on a netbook, so it's difficult to get the whole document without moving the page back and forth. Off to work, so can't respond again, but anxious to read what others think!
There are many benefits to converting your traditional IRA to a Roth IRA in 2010, but remember that taxes will have to be paid on any gains converted, and you will want to have the money to pay the tax owed available outside of the IRA...
As much as I hate to agree with him, Washington Mutual Investors Fund is part of the American Funds family.
Where did you see that? I am not at work and so don't have access to most of my data...just looking to read the statement, if possible. Thx in advance.
I completely agree with your assessment. Like so many others, I want to see this handled more quickly, but only want to see a decision made that is well thought out and is less easily countered for whatever reason.
Thanks, Oilstrike! I have been battling the flu and your PM brightened my day :)
YW. I wish it were more substantive. It's one of the reasons I wanted to go to the last hearing...after I had asked about the judge, I wanted to see her in action. Actually too short a hearing to get much of a feel, but she struck me as solid.
Maybe Brembo has a different interpretation?
trust me, I can't remember when I ever hoped I were more right, too!
I don't know her, but I do know people who do, including another judge here. She has a good reputation, is all I can report. I trust the people who have conveyeed this to me...despite my shared frustration at the length of time for her to rule.
