THJMW's courtroom is less imposing than our other courthouses in town. There is a metal detector you walk through, but I don't remember about the cell phone, since I used to volunteer in the family court and they weren't allowed there. It is a relatively small court room, with rows of wooden benches on either side when you walk in. I would suggest after the hearing is over, gathering in the lobby area as the easiest way to determine who is an i-hubber, especially if there will be alot of us there.

The court is accessible from either Market Street or King Street, and there is ample parking on both streets. There may be public parking under the building, entered on the King St. side of the courthouse. If you allow for 10 or 15 extra minutes, however, you'll find plentiful parking.

Wilmington is small, and there are several places close by to gather after the hearing if anyone is up for a drink. One hotel not too far on King St., plenty as you go out of the city, if you have a car. The train station is within walking distance, if you like to walk, otherwise a short cab ride away.

Obviously, I live here in Wilmington! I am happy to answer any questions, and assuming I can have my kids arrange for a ride home from school that day, I'll be at the hearing.
