This may have been noticed before.

It said in the filing 390M shares would be reserved to satisfy the reserve requirements of the 6% notes.
"F" Ribotsky, they haven't paid him in 2 quarters anyway. Litigation would drag on forever and he probably wouldn't like the exposure.
BTW, I have a nice size chunk of shares and also voted no.
I did and they said "there is not enough to generate a press release on this at this time."
I took that as there are recent developments, but not enough has been accomplished to allow a press release or acknowledge what has taken place lately.
Could it be.....
"20 billion yuan bio-engineering industry cluster. ??????????????,????????????????????,?????????200???????????? Speed up the Chinese Shandong new bio-pharmaceutical projects, fully grasp CONSTANT biotechnology, pharmaceutical upgrading Confucius Hall, as soon as possible sales income over 200 billion biotechnology industry cluster."

Looking at the last 2 quarterly statements, there was a 65% increase in net sales. It seems like a substantial increase for the time of year. IMO Q4 will be even greater, despite Q4 being seasonally the lowest for sales.
Anybody have a guess as to what "killer" refers to in this article?

You sure the translation is correct? Maybe the correct translation is,
"China protest decries eating pussy"
Sorry in advance to the sensitive ones...
Judging by the action today, this was more of a buying opportunity than a sell-off. The PPS would have gone lower otherwise, given how tightly held the stock is.
There must be more positive than negative sentiment on Kiwa, even after this report. Keep in mind, the quarterly only reflects what's happened through September.
Supposedly from IR4KIWA on yahoo board.
"The management is working extremely hard to bring all investor's long term success. Investor's should expect to learn about more positive business developments in the not to distant future."
Looks like the revenues were up from the last quarter and for fertilizer sales, the 3rd quarter is probably not the best for revenue. So if you look at it like our gov't. looks at unemployment claims, Kiwa sucks less than they did the quarter previous. This should be a sign they are improving in a difficult economy.
They still have no reason to be open about their progress, without having more shares to sell to raise capital. Spending money on touting the company, gets them no return.
I too expected a weak report. If you can hold until the annual is out, you will see something more positive.
IMO
I believe the quarterly is supposed to be released mid November. I'd expect to see some kind of lag if Kiwa will benefit from it in their fertilizer sales.

I take that as they are not bankrupt.
I noticed SSGI was back on the bid towards the end here today. I don't know why, but I take that as a good sign. They were in it heavy during the last rise.
Thoughts?
Bad day for stocks all around, not just Kiwa, IMO.
I haven't noticed any difference, but the fact that it's there is a good sign IMO.
115,000 shares, IMO 1 person bailed that's all...
Does Ribotsky & NIR Group ring a bell? Spend some time reading through the posts from the past. Look for the posts with links to save yourself some grief doing research. Bottom line is they have lots of potential if they can rid themselves of the bad financing. Being current on news is no help for them, they have no more shares to raise capital, so why spend the money when the payback isn't there?
IMO, buy some and keep a close watch come mid November when they release the quarterly report and hopefully, some good news to boot.
IMO, if there was bad news, the volume would be much higher and the pps even lower.
Mr. Li quoted here.
http://www.ccn.com.cn/news/shehui/2009/1021/283164.shtml
CONSTANT biotechnology company chairman Li Wei, also told reporters that the company involved in bio-fertilizer seven years, as compared with chemical fertilizers, bio-fertilizer prices higher, the user requirements is also high, so basically at the first 5 years of losing money earned shouted state. 但是近年来市场上安全健康食品日渐畅销,而新的《食品安全法》虽然是对终端产品的要求,但实际上要求上游的生产加工都要随之改变,因此政府和农户的观念在逐渐转变,生物肥料的春天正在来临。 But in recent years on the market safe and healthy food becoming popular, and the new "Food Safety Law", although to-end product requirements, but in fact require the upstream production and processing must change accordingly, so the government and farmers are gradually changing the concept of , bio-fertilizer in the spring is arriving.
据介绍,在美国等发达国家,生物肥料、有机肥料的使用已达到了10%-20%,而我国到去年底才达到1%,因此李伟认为,我国的生物肥料和有机肥料市场前景广阔。 According to reports, in the United States and other developed countries, bio-fertilizer, organic fertilizer use has reached 10% -20%, while our end of last year to reach 1 percent, so Li Wei believes that China's bio-fertilizer and organic fertilizer market prospects .
I wonder if they are doing anything with MM SSGI?
Repost from last week. Meetings today and tomorrow. Hopefully, something good for Kiwa comes out of it.

Hugh, you are a research machine...I hope Kiwa backs it all up soon with good news.
W'nuts
Sorry, realized the paper goes back to '07.

Recent mention of 1647 as 1 of 3 types of anti-bird flu drugs.

IMO, the slippage lately is largely due to chart players and short termers that bought in during the recent rise getting out because their theories didn't pan out on this one...yet.
Some made money, some didn't.
Just means Kiwa would have another 400 million shares to sell into the market. Stock price could go either way depending upon their ability to rid themselves of NIR, Kiwa's success, and shareholder sentiment. Shares can be sold in a controlled manner to raise funds, while not affecting share price drastically. Just remember the previous posts in regards to Chinese having the ability to invest in U.S. stock market. That brings a lot more potential investors.
I'm being optomistic here..
IMO
Kiwa trying to expand here? Difficult to understand....
http://www.changle.gov.cn/Article/ShowArticle.asp?ArticleID=9240
Yup, it's a gamble like any other. Do yourself a favor and read through all the previous posts, look at the links and make your own decision.
People pump and people bash. It's your challenge to weed through it all...
Where's this from? Could be part of a new website being worked on by the web developer? Haven't seen it before, must be current.
http://www.prc-global.com/presentations/KIWA/Kiwa_Presentation_files/frame.htm#slide0240.htm
Also, since the Chinese can now invest in U.S. stocks (as of '08-see Hugh's previous posts), the 400M authorized shares will seem miniscule. IMO, we are starting to see some investment from there, due to their more recent product marketing and hiring.
It would be nice to know if someone could provide some idea of how many shares are owned here and by foreign investors and how that has changed, or not.
It makes sense that KIWA is so tight lipped about anything. I believe it's in their best interest to NOT promote themselves at this time in regards to the NIR financing. After all, KIWA has the advantage and may be able to either repay NIR in full or force a renegotiation to some sort of fixed rate without penalties, if NIR wants to see anything. If NIR does anything else, they get less.
IMO, on a limb...
It seems the Kelongboao website has gone AWOL from the internet. I wonder if the job ad posted a while back for a web developer and this are connected and part of the AF-01/1647 marketing plan?
BTW, it sure seems a couple MM's are holding a decent chunk of shares. I take that as a positive sign...
Keep 1 eye on KWBT as well.
5000 shares might be a lot for a chinese guy on e-trade?
3rd Q. rep. should be out in a week or two, hopefully with news NIR deal is over and progress has been made elsewhere...
Can Kiwa play their own stock without disclosing it? I don't know the regs.
