tired_of_workin: Excellent contribution. Tks. eom
cashacumming...it may be that this has been a Dubai play all along so the orders will naturally come from there. imho.
CEOofPPI...will these shares move in tandem with Dubai shares then, e.g. Dubai-listed shares move up $1, will these shares move up $1? Thanks for your input.
FISH...maybe you'd have an opinion... how will listing on the Dubai exchange affect these shares wherever they end up being listed? any idea? eom
CEOofPPI...i own GFGIF.PK which is also GFG.V and there is virtually no trading volume on GFGIF. TD Waterhouse wouldn't let me but on the Vancouver exchange in my ROTH for some reason. Won't the shares on the Dubai exchange trade independently from these shares on whatever U.S. exchange they end up on? I am long and holding since LOFT. Tks.
Will Dubai listing hurt our stock here? eom
Fish...wise thoughts. eom
correction...wessal, not emaar. eom
GZFX4ME...Emaar 125 mil, 3 principals 120 mil, ??? coincidence?
TexasLongTrader: Is Vista the parent of Consultech? If so, this has been a Dubai-initiated and directed play all along.
jimmym4...you may have figured it out! Well done. ...and they are running it all through LOFT-SLJB. There may be more going on vis a vis Dubai in that nothing happens there but through the royal family. Isn't the port deal still under development and Dubai may be looking for a U.S. entity to run the U.S. port management deal through. Wouldn't that be a hoot. Boorg33 placed a post here that viered in that direction.
oreodiamonds...i just called DTCC to get that information. the answer i received is to call my respective broker/dealer. DTCC doesn't interface with the general investing public. http://www.dtcc.com/contactus.htm i don't have a worthy reply at this time to your question but will continue to research it and forward if i can develope some usefull information. tks,
Visiontrack...no need to certifiy IMO. I've never asked for a stock certificate. All are held by my broker/dealer in STREET NAME. I cannot think of any downside to that when you are dealing through a reputable broker/dealer. (I've held Series 7, 63 and 3 licenses in my checkered past.)
rrufff...you da man! tks for your contribution. eom
1millionfl: You are probably 100% right-on regarding when a stock is likely to run up. Tks, eom.
bgramer: Excellent point. I've accumulated 50,000 shares from .024/share as Loftworks to .12/share as SLJB. I seem to be giving an increase from this position to 75K or 100K much more thought. The free cash is in the ROTH but something is holding me up. I might be feeling that we could be seeing, say .065/share before .10/share or highter...maybe this week.
rover-az: Who is running the show in my opinion is Vista, apparrently a Dubai Company. That answers the questions of how SLJB seemingly jumped into bed in the Gulf region all of a sudden.
What a bitchy board. As a group of strangers you are taking way too many personal liberties with one another. Grow up and keep it professional and impersonal, ok? Many excellent contributions have been made on this board but they are becoming increasingly difficult to find. EOM
Will Dubai listing of shares hurt the market value of SLJB shares?
Kaddy27: I thought about this same question all night it seems. Yesterday I recognized that Vista is the parent company and is a Dubai business entity. Your post helped to gain more understanding as to how all the pieces fit together. I am guessing that Vista through Loftworks purchased an already up-and-running U.S. public trading vehicle. Why, time will tell. Sulja Bro's may have approached Vista through Consultec or vice versa. In any event, it appears that lightbulbs have been going off at the highest corporate levels of Vista as to the potential of the SLJB vehicle. I'm glad I jumped on for the ride when I bought most of my position via Loftworks at under .02
Fish...great contribution. Tks. eom
Metro...Bourg33's post was almost scary and a great read. This could be the stock we've always dreamed of. It'll take dicipline and patience to maximize this opportunity. We're ahead of the game at this point as most investors haven't heard of SLJB yet. So far, so good.
OHIO... $4 bucks? $20 would be good. Why not? eom
Pennimon: Excellent thoughts. Tks.
