Updated website, new products on capstone industries.com
Check out brite force, looks cool. Other new products.
Of course, no mention of it anywhere, found it myself.
I re-read the announcement:
"This feature enables the user to conserve their power failure resources providing lighting solutions capable of spanning long periods of extended power outages."
....spanning long periods of extended power outages.... Could be OMG
I agree with that. My question is about how much power does the adapter unit hold/ how many hours of lighting might it provide. Even two hours would be huge given it works with the normal light 0n-0ff switch. This technology has so many possible uses...direct sales, licensing, etc. Go M.I.T.!
Can you imagine how many of these they could sell before hurricane season?
Or for storm preparation?
They could become standard for any new construction....
"It can be incorporated into almost any lighting fixture design including standard bulb socket adapters, ceiling can lights, track and counter lighting, lamps, chandeliers and other indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures."
That is what is so cool. It is an adapter that you can add to every fixture in your house and go from
room to room turning the lights on and off.
It can be incorporated into almost any lighting fixture design including standard bulb socket adapters, ceiling can lights, track and counter lighting, lamps, chandeliers and other indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures.
....Imagine your power going out, but the lights functioning throughout your home just as they would when power is available.”
Lights using the technology can be operated on an as needed basis.
This feature enables the user to conserve their power failure resources providing lighting solutions capable of spanning long periods of extended power outages.
UNBELIEVABLE. Hotels, homes.....
Not sure- but the fact that he specifically says you can use control the light with your already wired
on and off switch is unbelievable. You can lose power and turn the lights on and off in your bathroom.
Assuming it could hold power for even one or two hours-- you could use your bathroom lights five minutes at a time for two days! That's what is amazing. Disruptive technology.
The SecRET Is Out

“Imagine your lights staying on when the power goes out!”
New proprietary technology provides roadmap for expansion of power failure lighting solutions
Enables expanded solutions offering for outdoor coach lights and outdoor security lights, as well as bath vanity lights and recessed lighting applications
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL, February 6, 2014 – Capstone Companies, Inc. (OTCQB: CAPC), a leader in the design and manufacture of specialty power failure lighting solutions and innovator of consumer safety and security products for the Hospitality, Retail and Institutional channels, announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Capstone Lighting Technologies, LLC, has been assigned the power failure technology patent application filed on January 3, 2014, by inventors Neil Singer, PhD, Ken Pasch, PhD and John Granada, from AC Kinetics and Stewart Wallach, CEO of Capstone Companies Inc.
The proprietary technical attributes of the technology enables unique power failure detection, switch controlled properties, as well as thermal protection. Notably, it is applicable for a broad variety of lighting fixture configurations. With this innovation Capstone plans to expand its product line into a larger and more diverse offering of stylish indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, which combine day-to-day lighting solutions with the safety of power failure lighting capabilities. It can be incorporated into almost any lighting fixture design including standard bulb socket adapters, ceiling can lights, track and counter lighting, lamps, chandeliers and other indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures.
Stewart Wallach, Chief Executive Officer of Capstone, commented, “Today is another important milestone for Capstone and represents the culmination of over 14 months of collaboration with AC Kinetics. With this groundbreaking technological innovation, Capstone is capable of providing seamless, integrated power failure lighting solutions while maintaining the design and style of the primary lighting fixtures. Imagine your power going out, but the lights functioning throughout your home just as they would when power is available.”
When power failure occurs it activates the technology’s power failure lighting solution. Lights using the technology can be operated on an as needed basis. This feature enables the user to conserve their power failure resources providing lighting solutions capable of spanning long periods of extended power outages.
By incorporating a thermal overload safety protection, the proprietary technology can be used in applications with insulated lighting fixtures including ceiling cans or small closets.
In closing Mr. Wallach noted, “We believe this is a unique solution which we expect to assume a lead role in the power failure lighting industry. We are now capable of providing the safety of power failure lighting solutions without compromising the style and design of an interior or exterior space.”
Capstone expects to debut the initial products incorporating this groundbreaking power failure lighting technology ahead of the 2014 Hardware Show in Las Vegas, NV on May 6, 2014.
No worries DD. The auditors couldn't believe the company finally made some money and insisted on reviewing and re-reviewing the books a few times.
I made that up but hope it's true. With the next run of announcements, this is going up 100% or down 50% real fast.

99.1 Email Text of Resignation
From: Holtz, Laurie S. - Sent: Tuesday, January 07, 2014 12:33 PM
To: Stewart Wallach. - Subject: Board membership
Stewart,
I have enjoyed being a part of the company and working with you all these years. However, I have health problems that prevent me from doing many things including business matters. Because I do not feel that I can contribute to the company I feel it is appropriate for me to resign as a Board Member.
I wish you great success and will miss being involved.
Most sincerely,
Laurie S. Holtz
Getting the simon and garfunkel treatment from ACKinetics too- no news in a year.
(get it..sounds of silence...)
50k is 30,350. No lamborghini, maybe a VW. Lol
50k is 30,350. A VW, no Lamborghini. Lol
50k is 30,350. A VW, no Lamborghini. Lol
I put in a 50k limit order at .015 for fun. Got 10K and the ask was pushed to .016.
A $150 buy lifted the stock 6%. Imagine what real buying pressure could do. Quickly.
No one mentioned the most interesting part of recent events to me. There was no conference (for the first time in memory), no opportunity for questions, no mention of additional info RE: AC Kinetics, no mention of two new approved AC Kinetics board members, no mention of secret project with AC Kinetics that was within weeks of finalization by last report. Interpretation? Good or bad?
I didn't see that they announced a webcast...
I just bought a set of 3 wall plates from Sam's Club online. Had to pay a two dollar penalty as I am not a Sam's Club member. Could've bought some shares with the two bucks. None the less, I put them up in the kid's rooms and they look great, function great.
L2? I put in a test order of 5K at .0175 and it won't go through.
Wanted to see my holdings at .0175, worth a hundred for the fun of it.
Flip,
I usually agree with you and find you accurate.
FYI
In 2011 Stewart was approved for a salary of 260K and took a voluntary reduction to 180K.
In 2010 Stewart was approved for a salary of 248K and took a voluntary reduction to 180K
In 2011 Gerry was approved to a salary of 173K and took a voluntary reduction to 148K

Say what you want about the recent stockholder vote but it wasn't so they could give themselves a raise.
Why are people assuming there will be no conference? There has been a conference with every quarter for years. Why do people think this is any different?
Six hundred sixty plus one million twenty seven thousand plus five million seven hundred thousand plus record equals 13 million in sales ?
Bull-- is this you?

Nice. Whatever is driving this no news rally, hoping it's just the beginning.
I hope you are right and I probably agree, but you said they "get along VERY, VERY WELL."
Two capitalized very s infers you have some reason for the strongly worded assumption.
What do you base your assumption of their bro-hood on?
We would all agree it is likely that Postal and Wallach are working together, with the same agenda.
Between the two they have 300M shares; add in McClinton (32M) and other insiders they have about 400M shares. Likely 60% of the company.
They have no need to steal the company. They already have it. They are not in it for short term loans for a few thousand at a time; they are laying out millions of their money. This is their opportunity for the hit of their lives. There are no great assets hidden inside to steal from under our feet;
they are building a company.
Postal got the shares because he is on the board of directors and thought the shares had a future;
the Fishers were not on the board of directors and had no forseeable reason to keep the shares.
Postal clearly was at the negotiating advantage knowing what CAPC has in store for the future.
If they want to reverse split into the NASDAQ or into a merger I would imagine they would do so for the benefit of their 400M shares. And their shareholders. Wallach seems to be a straight shooter to me.
I am comfortable assuming they have the most to gain from the increased value of the same common shares I have riding with theirs.
Some nice, relatively bigger trades than what we have been seeing.

Well...your guess? and Townie? Msturgio? Running bull? .....Miss good old Salve...
1000 free shares to the winner of the contest (lol)--
What is the total sales for third quarter?
On route to ten million for the year.... or six?
Will it be two million or four? Let the contest begin!
Guesses?
It's interesting. I put in a bid for a teeny 300,000 with the bid .0056/.0065
I only got 53.8K and the bid shot to .0065/.007
I raised my bid to .007 and only got 20K
The quote went to .07/.0072
So- 73.8 thousand shares in, I've moved the stock up 25%
So- I am done for now, too weird to chase it up. Over a few hundred dollars
of buy at the ask. Low volume goes both ways.
If ACKinetics is real this could be like a spring.
Wallach:
As referenced earlier, we believe that Capstone will benefit from its investment to AC Kinetics’ energy-saving electric motor technology. They are well along in discussions with some of the world’s largest motor drive control manufacturers. This development in their core business, in conjunction with the product development support that we receive from AC Kinetics, makes our relationship very valuable. I expect it to impact the future of our Company substantially. So, everything is good, it’s on course, and again, as mentioned earlier, the Project S1000, I’m anticipating days away from being able to share some further news relative to its completion.

I am betting (betting is the real word) it is something real. I don't believe they are investing millions just for the interest. Stewart has invested years in this. He doesn't need the nine thousand in interest. Look up Jeffrey Postal. He doesn't need the interest either. Can't wait to hear about the details of the new project. Salve, the ACKinetscs site has me very curious as well.
There is no getting a new CEO. He is (largely) the whole company.
Thanks for the 200,000 at .0042 I'll be back for more. Been biting the cheapies the last few weeks.
There is nothing KEI can do with present sales. Everything so far is about expectations
of sales. Can't do investor relations with 6 month sales of less than two million dollars.
Get it to the magic 10M and they have something to work with.
Speaking of that, did they mention the secret project or AC Kinetics?
Very high tech, disruptive, Massachusetts Institute of Technology style, patented rubber ducks.
Not your mother's duck.
Hey Salve.
Do you think there is a contract for a certain number of watches to be developed, produced
and delivered or is the contract based on a small basis of orders and then re-orders if they sell?
Is there generally a minimum order?
They discussed 6% in the conference-- at $50/watch 100,000 could be 0.3 M and one million could be 3 M with the only overhead being Sloven's office and salary. That could be a nice boost in cash without any carrying costs or inventory.
I think it was meant to be Distinctive, not disruptive. Oy. LOL
