So is 004 RC?
Was ALKM bottling for a VATE?
All good news
I don’t see sub penny. I see churning in this range until revenue and or major account acquisition news moves the needle. Revenue growth has to outpace the share structure and further additions. It depends on execution by KGB management now. Applying basic business methodologies. Reduce margins to increase market share. This basic sales 101 philosophy has worked on a micro level at my retailer. Maybe some new sales blood pushes this along. JMO
Wow just landed here. This sounds like a dilution machine. I would say they sold shares for cash to make the acquisitions - which happens a lot. Insiders have to account for their shares. So how long before this dilution is over depends on how many shares they have to sell. From previous experience the SP won’t advance until the dilution stops. Then the RS talk starts so to regain the structure.
But who knows - they could hit a HR and move this along. The scalping is a whole different animal.
Just MHO.
Anyone home?
PR drop this week?
Thanks for posting that. A couple of surprises on there.
I suspect most longs have pondered selling or at least reducing. I want to have a positive outlook like Fax so I’ll say in terms of CY achievements there is still room for additional success. Most of that will depend upon how fast SC comes on line and the trade show outcome.
Stineman got Lemin to 900K in two years. That would probably be a good thing.
It’ll probably test the 52 wk low as holders realize that KG is a distributor with some home grown products. The rebranding of Kona better be a home run design. The prod is good but mgmt seems intent to start the whole process over. They need to hire a Sales Director and not RC in that role. IMO.
True but I’m not in a hurry.
Let’s hope life doesn’t imitate art!
Load up and wait for the next cycle or sell and go away. This is .01 land.
This week might be a good time for a PR drop that’ll keep the Soc Media momentum up.
Is there a time line on the Ticker Change?
Distributors want product they can sell and make $ doing so. If their margins are not good enough there is no incentive to sell.
Distributors need the product available to sell.
Distributors want the manufacturer to market or at a minimum joint market and share costs.
Distributors HATE when a manufacturer takes accounts direct ala Green Leaf. When a manufacturer takes a customer away from a distributor, (even just one) the relationship is over.
Pull through (Lemin customers) are not necessarily Kona customers.
Large distributors can take on a line and “sit on it” just so it doesn’t interfere with sales of their existing CBD or energy drink lines.
A market new comer rarely gets the elite distributor in the market. That takes time and sales have to be accomplished with a lesser distributor to create a sense of ‘FOMO, with the elite distributor.
Some potential reasons why Kona can’t keep a distributor. The distributor / manufacturer relationship has to be handled by a pro and not a newbie. I’m is a serious art form.
The above holds true between a manufacturer and distributor no matter what the industry.
That said I’m not selling or buying more and want to see the results of the trade show and how the 3M is spent.
Otherwise growth through share sales / dilution continues. And as Fax eluded to the growth needs to be at least +100% YOY IMO.
Yeah that’s a mystery. Other small CBD drink co’s list the retail outlets where product is available on their website. Plugging the store and the disto who put it there. There’s none of that with KGB that I see.
Every mention helps sell it. This show in Chicago better produce new disto’s at the very least. We shall see.
Nice.
Was the spike due to the assumption it might trade on Monday? Nice regardless.
The logo is fine. Shouldn’t waste dollars on it unless the idea is to bring the High Drate, Lemin, Kona drinks under one umbrella or all encompassing company logo.
There’s another small CBD drink producer with 5B+ OS serving a small obscure upper MW market who’s CEO is somewhat active on Twitter. He recently uploaded pics of the products in retail stores - warm no less - the product is not positioned in coolers and he mentioned their disto by name. The SP more than 2x in the last 5 days. KGB has got to hire someone who knows the value of marketing. It seems RC’s value is finance and operations. And the jury is still out on the finance.
Agreed
So I assume the 3M gives YA II PN what .. @ 200M shares? And no mention of restrictions?
Yup. RC better figure out Social Media quickly.
So a year from now YAII PN ‘CAN’ convert and sell their 100mm @ .03+. So big things, (growth initiatives) need to happen in the next 12 months (eg: Trade Show or Nat. Retailer win(s), FDA apprvl, etc.). Otherwise it’s business as usual - as we’ve seen over the last several months?
Any rational explanation for the skid? There’s a lot to like here but where is here? .10 or .30+?
Tactical Nuke strike might be needed. Major league disappointment this year. Great products but crickets from mgmt. Personally I’m looking for some real good news from the up coming show in Chicago.
Have the High Drate sales ever been discussed by management? A microscopic sample size - but my source is selling out of some of the High Drate flavors.
Are the High Drate
Whatever they’re doing it isn’t good. I would’ve thought yesterdays PR on the future proofed website refresh would’ve popped the SP a little.
Don’t we all.
Ugh! Eventually it ends but who knows when.
My guess is they leave local retail and small mom & pops to whatever disty channel they have.
The sales team is probably whale hunting for the big national accounts.
The Territory Mgrs are upselling every known account. My guess is they don’t know where the majority of accounts are because the distys don’t typically give the principal, (Kona) the POS data. But I’m not in this biz so just a guess.
Some here need to take Mr. Peabody’s Wayback Machine back to Physics 101. Maybe the Wayback Machine ran on kinetic energy too? Nope. I don’t know SB but CEO’s typically aren’t the most technical people in the room.
Sounds right but what I think we’ll see are more Territory Managers who’ll push it on their local levels. Hopefully incentivizing what functional distribution we have left. IMO
Volume 1K at 9:53.
That’s what the trade show in Chicago is for. I might take a road trip to Chicago to put eyes on everything. They’ll need to come away from that event with some serious business opportunities IMO.
Agreed. Congress acting will just widen the path. From what I’ve seen personally, (very small sample) the Territory Mgrs are key. They arrange deals / discounts with the merchants and drive it.
Excited?! Good! See if it can sustain today
