I'm counting on $3+ in the VERY least to bring us back to pre-split valuations... While $1.00 a share certainly would be nice, it would be a rather hollow victory if PPS didn't move even much higher than a buck...

The investment seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, which correspond to twice the inverse of the daily performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Oil & Gas index. The fund normally invests 80% of assets in financial instruments with economic characteristics that should be inverse to those of the index. eik, I did great with DUG calls today..Bought June 26 calls at 1.70 and sold them for 2.15. It closed at 2.50 !!! lol
ARSC : Doubled from the lows..Story hasn't changed but a pull back is possible considering it went up too much, too fast. Taking profits is a prudent thing to do. Nothing beats riding on free shares
Too much too fast My trading discipline dictates taking profits here. Story hasn't changed but a pull back is possible
Yeah, harbs. I took a small starter position in DUG just to make sure it goes down further lol. It will become a nice play at some point. GL!
The stock actually went up and stayed up well after my exit points. I didn't sell any shares in recent days because I didn't have any. Whoever tried to pump the stock at 12-13 cents range failed badly so they ended up panic selling. Hemi shareholders will eventually win big if the story is right. I think it is. I have made a lot of good friends here and I wouldn't say anything that would hurt them. I am sure the mods will do the right job in purging the personal attacks. It will lead to meaningless fights otherwise. Last but not the least, bashing a stock for a lower entry is what lowlifes do. I never did;never will. GL, every one
That is certainly a possibility. MMs some times act on their own as well.
Ovi, Here is the post I made on Hemi when it was topping..I currently do not own any HMGP shares.

I also made another post on this forum..I don't stay around to bash the stock to buy back lower. I don't indulge in private message 'trash talk' about the stock. I just move on. I wouldn't have even talked about Hemi if you didn't ask. It is no reflection on the stock; just my trading discipline. I don't get married to any stocks (made that mistake before).
Good luck!

My take on HMGP : I hope it is, Kel. I called the bottom around 4 cents range and I am plenty sure I own the bragging rights for bringing in buyers and stopped the bleeding at that range. That was the hardest time to be positive on the stock and I see most of those who were negative then are bullish now. I am being cautious now only because this upward movement was built on NITE's mercy. I would have like it lot better if AUTO was on the bid because they were the ones bringing it down. That would nicely fit the 'short' theory. Sure the fundamentals haven't changed but they didn't play a role in this run. Based on my trading experience, this is what normally happens. The market maker runs the stock up on low volume after 'cleaning out' the weak sellers. Some of the big holders chip in with some money and buy the stock because they are worried it would fall right back down. They also work hard to generate the frenzy so that they can sell their shares to new buyers. The 'always late to the party' i-hub momo crowd bring in some bagholders with their push. The distribution phase lasts for some time and I hope for the sake of our friends in the stock,it lasts long enough for them I sound the most bullish when the stock is trying hard to reverse from the lows and get cautious once it runs a few hundred percent higher from the lows. Folks who follow me know this very well. At least I am not costing them any money and I am not creating any bagholders by giving an atrocious price target on pinkies. Wishing you the best. I will be around to cheer if this propels higher on some solid news and better market dynamics. So far as pinkies goes, I sell the stock based on my trading discipline and willing to buy back lower if the story is right. This way the story is same and you have more shares than ever before Good luck!
NWOL : beautiful close today This stock can fly so fast if UBSS stays away for a while..lol..
Thanks, Real I agree on the resistance point. I am not a big fan of parapolic moves. I would rather see some profit taking/churning at this level.
Amen to that I don't want this to get overheated too soon..
ARSC up big a(gain) It got thrashed here a few weeks ago (Not by our friends)..The other stock that was talked up (zy something) went nowhere..lol..
Good thoughts I see this as a long term positive..
ARSC is up only a measly 50% since we talked last time here lol
Saw that! Good sign it is..It is long time since we had our last PR..Bring it on, NWOL
That pretty much sums it up Slow and steady does it for me..
Oil is getting close to a short term top and I am betting we will see a correction before the next run. I bought DUG in pre-market trading at 27.02 for a swing trade. I normally average in & out. Looking to add more if DUG goes lower.

Good to know, lee I know you got the dd part covered. I did think the net income was higher but 7 million is still good. I don't hate a stock that just gave me 50% profit in a few weeks..I will come back to show my love..lol..Good luck!
Read this article in full. LUMC is mentioned at the bottom. Looks like we didn't have actual net income as many thought Still doesn't take anything away from this being a good reversal play. I booked some profits at 30 cents..It was nice making 50% gain in a few weeks time. GL!
New rules can turn a loss into a gain
By Harold Brubaker
Inquirer Staff Writer
New accounting rules are causing bizarre gyrations on financial statements and giving some companies a bottom-line boost when their credit goes bad.
Radian Group Inc. took a $1.33 billion hit in its first-quarter earnings from the decline in the value of insurancelike products it sold and was liable for. That part is not new.
What's new is, the Philadelphia insurer of mortgages and bonds last week had to take the market's perception of its own creditworthiness into account when valuing the obligations.
Because there are significant doubts Radian will be able to make good on them, it had to report an offsetting $2.06 billion gain.
In a miracle of accounting alchemy, as the likelihood of a debt or other obligation being repaid drops, firms that use this method must book a corresponding gain in income. That forced Radian to report first-quarter net income of $195.64 million, up from $113.47 million a year earlier. Radian took pains to point out it had an operating loss of $215.2 million.
C. Robert Quint, Radian's chief financial officer, said the theory behind so-called fair-value accounting was fine, but the reality was not: "No one really understands what's real, what's not real."
The standard-setting Financial Accounting Standards Board for years has been moving toward requiring reporting of financial assets at their fair market value. But the rule suddenly is "drawing more attention because of the volatility" in the credit markets, said Brian Bushee, an associate professor of accounting at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
For fiscal years starting after last Nov. 15, the rule standardized definitions, set up a three-tier framework for valuing financial assets, and required major disclosures. It also required companies to take their own credit into account when valuing what they owe.
Radian did not go as far as it could have with the new accounting rules. Another new rule lets companies choose whether to report certain assets and liabilities, including debt, at fair value. "We have debt that we're carrying at the amount that we owe as opposed to a fair value that would be lower," Quint said.
By contrast, Luminent Mortgage Capital Inc., a Philadelphia investor in residential-mortgage-related securities that was on the verge of going out of business last year, valued its debt at fair value. Its debt has fallen in value because of doubts that Luminent will repay, so it booked a gain.
But wait: If Luminent's prospects improve under new chief executive officer Zachary H. Pashel, some of that gain would be reversed.

Cat and mouse blamed for blackout
Albanians may have found a new villain to blame for the frequent power cuts that have been blighting their lives.
The country's main electricity company says a cat chasing a mouse caused a 72-hour blackout in parts of the capital, Tirana.
The animals ran into an area of high-voltage cables and were electrocuted, a spokeswoman for the firm - Kesh - told Reuters news agency.
"We took pictures because we've never had anything like this," she said.
Power cuts have been endemic in Albania for many years.
The authorities usually blame drought and the dilapidated state of the communist-era grid, which appears to be buckling under the strain of the extra demand caused by the Albanians' recent access to modern amenities.

Likely to get even more nicer in the weeks to come
No sweat here..I am more of a 'News beats the chart by a mile' kind of guy lol
An update like that would be timely We are basing nicely in this range..
Lucky you I am trying to get more filled at 1 cent!! It is 0.009 x 0.013 now..my bid is not displayed..
It is HMBNQ now. It is perhaps the only stock that didn't bounce big after filing bk..It went straight down for the most part..I wouldn't be surprised to see this run up big from here. Nice play
LUMC : More than 50% jump since the alert!
here is a lotto : HMBNQ
here is a lotto : HMBNQ
We are holding onto the gains that were made in the last 2 days. The bid support is there. Nice
ARSC : A slow and steady upward run is what we want
lol..ARSC is a development stage company..What else you expect to see ? Until they start making revenues, ARSC will be issuing equity in lieu of cash..They already got the funding for their plant. Once the revenues start kicking in, they won't be relying on issuance of shares..
I agree, Vic. What we lack is credibility. When some one says NWOL is a scam, there isn't anything that we got to counter that. It is certainly Maly's job to put out audits and close some deals. Sometimes_right is doing a good job posting them coz the potential is not realized by many. The stock price action is the best we have seen in some time and let us hope Maly make good use of the market dynamics.
ARSC on fire again..but you are so funny next thing I know you would call this a pos..lol
Going to get lot better I think
No problem, os. Let us see some green again today
lumc reported net income..let me look for it..
They gave me just 10k at 0.019 and moved up the ask to 0.022..LOL..
Watch how this plays out..why don't you sell me some..I am bidding at the ask..
