Digital Dynasties: How China’s Cryptocurrency Could Unseat the Dollar
https://hir.harvard.edu/digital-dynasties-how-chinas-cryptocurrency-could-unseat-the-dollar/
Although the US dollar remains the world’s dominant fiat currency, an analysis of the geopolitics surrounding the battle for currency hegemony reveals that China’s digital yuan will pose a serious challenge to the dollar status quo as the 21st century unfolds.
... international sanctions present a unique opportunity for China to showcase the advantages of a currency outside of US control. When Russia invaded Ukraine, one way the United States retaliated was by cutting Russia off from the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT). SWIFT is responsible for nearly all international cross-border transactions. As 95 percent of all dollar payments are settled in New York, SWIFT is policed by the US. The White House vowed that without SWIFT, Russia would be reliant on “the telephone or a fax machine” to conduct international business. The digital yuan offers a potential solution. By bypassing SWIFT and executing a secure cross-border transfer using China’s CBDC, Russia could theoretically trade with anyone willing to run afoul of US sanctions. If China itself were the target of widespread sanctions, the digital yuan could be crucial to continuing trade relations with close allies. China could also pitch the digital yuan to any countries seeking to disrupt US hegemony, such as its ally Iran. More support for the digital yuan increases its reach and recognition, in turn boosting the internationalization of the RMB.

"paid for everything in cash" Not sure I heard the news story correctly, but in Europe it's illegal to pay in cash over $1,000 (one thousand) as any amount over that must be in a digital money transfer. If true, then that's how the government monitors where you spend your money since every transaction points to what you purchased.

"an equal or better result for them by going another way"
It's understood, this board is not set up for one like you to explain and teach to those less able, so you are quite correct to only say "I know, you don't, and I'm not going to give any further information."
As for a method, there is only one active, and that is a continuation of John Bourque to take a failed Bourque Industries to his grave rather than obtain a successful company where he does not have complete control.
As posted many years ago, Bourque Industries should join with an alloy company that can make BORK products, and share revenues. This would work if the alloy company has enough cash to obtain the raw materials. This would be a no-go without sales pending.
.
Yes, I agree that John Bourque will either have his Board of Director Puppets activate the paperwork to Buy all BORKs held by investors in this company such that all BORKs held will be replaced with a cash equivalent $0.0001 for each BORK and take Bourque Industries private,
or simply have a huge reverse split in the magnitude of say 10,000:1 with the Board of Director Puppets then awarding John Bourque and them puppets with hundreds of millions of new BORK shares keeping Bourque Industries public.
Either way the Hurting in the Dark Shareholders will be trounced and receive near zero returns from a successful Bourque Industries.
It's been very recently noted that Bourque Industries does not need to go through the expense and effort of the above methods to rid Bourque Industries of the Hurting in the Dark Shareholders, but that was stated without any details given, leading me to conclude that this so-called third method does not exist or has no validity to happen.
For myself I'm weary of John Bourque holding Bourque Industries hostage with his "I am Kryron. I am Bourque Industries." attitude that prevents Bourque Industries from accepting available opportunities towards success, but requires John Bourque to relinquish his total control.
Once again, the Board of Directors should answer for what I'm sure is a violation of their duties.
If not now, then for sure eventually.

Yes, post numbers at the top of each message have always been present, but it seems that anyone who has been here more than a few months will have recognition that post numbers were also listed on the left in a column for each post when a listing of posts were displayed. But now that space has been taken over by that I don't see as having any legit value since it's just opinions of others having an agenda.
:)
The recent trades you posted, are the two 223800 OTCBB Buys or Sells.
The post numbers are no longer listed for me. Can I turn them back on?
I searched for news and found none. Please tell me the news. Thanks

When I graduated from high school in 1963...
The median income of all families in 1963 was about $6,200; but for families headed by college graduates, the median was $9,700.
But a high school graduate working under a strong labor union, for example General Electric or one of those major steel producing companies, could be hired at the lowest pay (clean floor & take out the garbage) and make more than a typical collage graduate working in a company without any labor union.

"and get enjoyment not telling others that want to know any easier approach available to Bourque Industries"
.
another voice
So, "an easier approach" is available for Bourque Industries to become successful, but will that include current investors holding common shares of BORK that did not partake in the activity of giving cash directly to Bourque Industries (aka John Bourque) or will John Bourque order the Board of Director Puppets to make changes to Bourque Industries such that the Hurting in the Dark Shareholders will be trounced and receive near zero returns from a successful Bourque Industries?
Knowing John Bourque's disdain for anyone holding only common shares brought on the open market, as in not giving Bourque Industries cash directly, these folks are fodder to be added to the compost pile to grow mushrooms.
So, who knows of any "easier approach" available to Bourque Industries?
Well, Bourque Industries insiders and MerthyrQ.
For which none of the above will post in a public forum what they are.
Those John Bourque designate as friends of Bourque Industries and know the "an easier approach" have a mental attitude of "I know and you don't, ha ha ha." and get enjoyment telling others that want to know, this status.
.
Greetings MerthyrQ, From your post, that this is a reply to, I take the meaning of your "[John Bourque] can go another way [and] jettison the troubled history." to mean keeping the existing public Bourque Industries with a jettison, in effect, of all investors through a huge reverse split in the magnitude of say 10,000:1 with the Board of Director Puppets then awarding John Bourque and them puppets with hundreds of millions of new BORK shares.
Seems like a simple thing to do.
Especially knowing John Bourque doesn't give a shit (he said) about the investors.
Thank you for the insight.

"Because that's the style."
It's understood by all teenage girls "Don't throw away any cloths out of style because eventually they will come back in style."
Somehow teenage girls equate "in style" cloths as a way to be attractive to boys.
Boys of course are completely imperturbable (need Churak to check if this is a real word) if the cloths girls wear are in or out of style, except when the in style cloths are completely stupid, as was the case when all girl's shirts had football style shoulder pads which alerted the boys not to mention the idiotic nature of what the girls were wearing. Whenever I walked behind such fashion my brain correctly signaled that if the girl's shoulder was indeed formed that way from birth, it was a deformity at birth needing corrective action by a doctor.
Don't ask Susie about this as she will get violent towards you.

For John Bourque, it's personal "I am Kryron. I am Bourque Industries."
Thank you for the Sell Signal. Once those few day traders that have been here for the last few months, trading among themselves for lunch money decide to leave for a more active worthless penny scam board, BORK will fall to $0.0001 as desired by John Bourque. Upon that John Bourque and his Board of Director Puppets will activate the paperwork to Buy all BORKs held by investors in this company such that all BORKs held will be replaced with a cash equivalent $0.0001 for each BORK.
This will accomplish for John Bourque his "I am Kryron. I am Bourque Industries."
Then "Surprise Surprise" the new privately owned Bourque Industries will obtain success.
Yes, almost as if the means for success in the public Bourque Industries was present prior to the stock buy out.
John Bourque will then give the middle finger to all those that bashed him, including those that didn't.

Your woman's buttons, right or left type?
Position of buttons on a woman’s shirt, whether they are on the right or left, is symbolic of social status.
Back in the day, buttons on the right would indicate that you are a farmer or ‘commoner’ because you were dressing yourself. Buttons placed on the left, however, told the world that you were upper-class and dressed by servants.

Can you sell your BAM shares, so as to declare a lost? Even so, I'm sure the Chill would prevent any Buyers from buying them. Guess it depends where they "exist," as the paperwork you have on their purchase should display how they were created.
The BORK glass is 99% empty, and maybe 1% full if unexpectedly Bourque Industries has already accomplished positive movement towards success but John Bourque has decided not to make that fact public.
Seems we are not Current, but
That seems to imply that John Bourque and the John Bourque Board of Director Puppets have a "No Confidence" rating and must decide if Bankruptcy or selling the patents for pennies is the proper avenue to take.
Once again, John Bourque will take a failed Bourque Industries to his grave rather than relinquish his total control and have Bourque Industries obtain the ability to move this company towards success.

Shares of crypto-focused bank Silvergate shed more than half their value on Thursday after the lender said it was evaluating its ability to survive as a going concern.
California-based Silvergate, one of just a few US banks to focus heavily on crypto, has been hit hard by the recent collapse of digital token prices and the implosion of Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX empire, which was a banking client.
In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, Silvergate said it would not be able to file its annual report with the Securities and Exchange Commission on time. It said it would miss the March 16 deadline because of a further weakening in its capital position since last month, when it reported dismal fourth-quarter earnings.
Silvergate said it was “evaluating the impact that these subsequent events have on its ability to continue as a going concern for the 12 months following the issuance of its financial statements”.
US-listed crypto exchange Coinbase said on Thursday it was no longer accepting or initiating payments to or from Silvergate “in light of recent developments and out of an abundance of caution”. The exchange added it had “di minimis corporate exposure” to the bank, and institutional client cash transactions would be facilitated through other banking partners.
Galaxy Digital, a crypto financial services company, also said on Thursday that it had stopped accepting or initiating transfers to Silvergate, adding it had “no material exposure” to the bank.
“This action was taken out of an abundance of caution to ensure client and firm assets are secure,” the company said.
Silvergate’s shares closed 58 per cent lower in New York on Thursday.
The bank disclosed that its capital ratios would suffer from fresh losses on its securities portfolio, which amounted to $5.7bn at the end of 2022, following further such sales in January and February. The bank has been selling off securities in an effort to meet withdrawals from crypto customers amid what it has described as a “crisis of confidence” in the sector.
“These additional losses will negatively impact the regulatory capital ratios?.?.?.?and could result in the company and the bank being less than well-capitalised,” Silvergate said.
The warning marks a precipitous fall for the once small community bank that supercharged its growth by pushing into cryptocurrencies. Many of the world’s top crypto miners, exchanges and custodians used Silvergate to deposit and transfer billions of dollars.
The bank’s share price rose to a high of $219.75 in November 2021 but on Wednesday closed at $13.53.
Silvergate in 2022 reported a full-year loss of $949mn in 2022 compared with a profit of $76mn in 2021.

Google results for: Can a Tesla coil power a town?
No. About the only electric appliance or equipment or apparatus that can operate directly from the output of a Tesla coil is lighting using ionized gas; neon lighting, fluorescent tube lighting, and MAYBE some other vapor or gas lamps.
Tesla coils produce AC at a high frequency that is not useful. Second, the Tesla coil can't direct power to where it is needed, so most of the power will radiate into space. Third, there is no way to bill customers for their use of the received energy.

Why don't we use the Tesla coil to send electricity wirelessly present day?
Even if [relatively inefficient] Tesla coils were used in some way to provide wireless power, the money-people (financiers) didn’t like the idea that there would be no way to meter the power and make money from it. And, if it were implemented, the RF fields would be insanely strong. Today, people are even up tight about the billion-times weaker RF fields from cell phones.

Are you referencing Tesla's Powerwalls for VPPs ?
In July 2021, Musk revealed that the company had a backlog of 80,000 Powerwall orders, but due to the global chip shortage, the company would only be able to make less than 35,000 units in the quarter.
Virtual power plant
A virtual power plant (VPP) is a cloud-based distributed power plant that aggregates the capacities of heterogeneous distributed energy resources (DER) for the purposes of enhancing power generation, as well as trading or selling power on the electricity market. Examples of virtual power plants exist in the United States, Europe, and Australia.
The Tesla Powerwall is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery stationary home energy storage product manufactured by Tesla Energy. The Powerwall stores electricity for solar self-consumption, time of use load shifting, and backup power. The Powerwall was introduced in 2015 with limited production. Mass production started in early 2017 at Tesla's Giga Nevada factory. As of May 2021, Tesla has installed 200,000 Powerwalls.
In May 2021, Tesla announced that it had installed 200,000 Powerwalls, selling 100,000 devices in a single year, the same amount that the company had previously taken five years to achieve.
