Gran Tierra not only beat earnings estimates four out of the last four quarters but beat them by an average of 26.83%. 2014 year end estimates are $.69 per share. With analysts proven inability to accurately forecast earnings for Gran Tierra combined with off the charts recent performance from outstanding bidding, project completion, and exploration activities by the company, we are going to say that Gran Tierra has a high probability of beating estimates again. We project the company will do so by at least 15% again, and we will grow the earnings estimate of $.69 per share by 15% to attain an estimate of $.80 per share. Apply an industry average multiple of 19, and we attain a 2014 year end share price of $15.30.

Did Jones have to pay for that article??
Wow, a lot of optimism here. Jennifer had left the company before Jim Cramer chased this into the $30's. I've now held this 3 times and I want to make this the third time I've sold for a nice profit. I'm more of a baby steps sort of a guy and I want this to get to $2 and then maybe get really excited.
For everyone's reading enjoyment!!!

Extension of the offer, but it seems with the stock @ .145/share it doesn't come off as very enticing.
I found this one a while ago, got the idea from an article @ Seeking Alpha.
As I understand, PGRX acquired mineral rights. Ranchers and an Indian tribe still own the land.
I have a close friend who grew up in the Holbrook, AZ. I talked to him about PGRX potential, he checked with his friends who still live there and got pretty excited as well. We both ended up investing in this, very small quantities compared to what some of you say you have. My friend just got back from visiting AZ and he says that the landowners are getting nervous. They haven't heard from the new guy(Barber)and they think they might not get the mineral rights payment. The landowners know now how much potash is under their land and I wonder if PGRX will squander a huge opportunity. I've been told the land PGRX has tied up has access to the RR and that Passport doesn't, they're land locked. I'm hoping Barber doesn't goof this up.
Hmmm, wonder what's moving JOEZ today. Nice move.
Will this be sell on the news?
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/equal-energy-rejects-montclair-energy-161019969.html
Montclair Energy LLC said Monday that Equal Energy's board has rejected its $142.4 million acquisition offer.

The company said that it currently is not soliciting proxies or consents from Equal Energy shareholders and that it would be open to further discussions with Equal Energy management.
Would this be considered a hostile takeover??
http://www.sacbee.com/2013/03/25/5290721/montclair-energy-llc-announces.html
Montclair Energy, LLC ("Montclair") announced today that it delivered a letter to the Board of Directors of Equal Energy Ltd. (NYSE: EQU; TSX: EQU) ("Equal Energy") on February 27, 2013 in which Montclair proposed to acquire all of the current outstanding shares of common stock of Equal Energy for $4.00 per share in cash and in subsequent conversations, confirmed that the $4.00 share price would also apply to Equal Energy managements' restricted shares as well.
Wouldn't that be the "kiss of death"?
This recent trend has been nice!
