Josh, I don't have the time to investigate what you are , but one thing for sure, you are a prolific poster and now I've had to waste a precious iggy on you just to free up board space. Get over yourself.
Fog, how do you know the shorts have NOT been accumulating during this period? On the big volume days there sure seems to be a lot of shares in play. It will be interesting when the A/F's get here to truly see where all these shares came from. I contend this is still a flippers playground and they've done darn good playing here. All the shares for Wessal? Where did those come from? Very interesting story unfolding in Sulja Bros and we're soon to see the next couple of chapters. I wouldn't trade my ringside seat for a million dollars right now!!!!
Bull, I agree with you about shorting this stock at THIS time. However, most on this thread believe the actual shorting, if any took place, happened well before this date, probably when Dennis was still in the picture. Had we known DA was up to his armpits in supplies debt to Sulja, we might have jumped on the short bandwagon with NITE and company. He did, afterall, appear a shorters dream target. But then Daddy Consultech stepped in and got his debtor out of hock by buying his vehicle. This was the wild card in the deal and may have hit the shorts "in the shorts!"
I was at the table with my employer and a couple of business people one night having a drink and one of the guys offered to buy out my boss... right there! We're talking a deal that had to be 18-19 million bucks. My boss called the guy crazy and said he wasn't interested in selling. The guy was bold, though, and said, "I'm going to write a figure on this napkin and you say yes or no." He writes the number, passes it over and my employer picks it up with a mild "harumph!" and procedes to look it over.
He looks at the napkin, then over at the business associate, back to the napkin. Long pause.... "Throw in your condo at Steamboat and we've got a deal!" Handshake, wild hoops and hollers, more drinks and off we go. I've got a new boss and my old one is skiing in Colorado.
Old School. This is Petar's world. He tosses this $6 million SAM bone to us on the end of his statement like it's some kind of sugar frosting on a nice wordy cupcake. He's absolutely as frustrated as we are about the financials. But in Petar's world, the financials are ALREADY done! "What's the big deal? I told you what we're making and it's true!" On to the next deal, eh? I doubt we'll hear from him until he shows up with a big azz baseball bat and knocks the shorts into the cheap seats in centerfield.
Hey Pound, did you think your post was just so darn good it needed a second shot?
Poor SPIN, just can't seem to "play well with others!"
Excellent insight "mrgoodtrade!"
We are just a bunch of lucky stiffs who thought the loft idea was promising and liked Dennis Ammerman's pluck standing up to the evil empire shorters. We stepped in pooh and are going to come out smelling like gardenias! Could we have ever imagined in February some rich Arabs were going to make our company their "supply" lifeline? I'm riding this pink rocketship all the way to space and not bitching about a darn thing!
Petar is "Old School." Simple as that. He's probably used to drawing deals up on cocktail napkins with handshakes afterward that cement the whole thing. Four letter words and bruske demeaner tempered with cigars and cognac and you've got Old School. I can see the gym deal going down like this:
(Unidentified crony) "Hey, Tommy Hearns bet me we couldn't build a gym as cool as their old one in the ghetto..."
(Petar) "No kiddin? Well, let me make a couple of calls. I think we can put a few parcels together down by the lake and build a whoopazz gym. Let's surround it with some retail and condos and we'll make a ton on the whole thing. Hey, thanks for bringing that to me. I hadn't even thought about it"
He has already told us to quit bugging him and his clients. He's not warm and fuzzy so get over it! I don't need daily reassurance from the guy. The company has promised us one of the greatest short term returns in the stock market and I believe them. Other than the A/F's not coming out fast enough for some folks on this board, they've delivered on everything and with a healthy dose of transparency.
I admit we'll need a different personality to steer the ship in the future... so does Petar. Truth be told, I'm bummed he's had to babysit the position right now because I know it's taking him away from doing what he does best... drawing up deals on cocktail napkins.
Suljak, that's great! I hope to have the same conversation... only I'm not bringing it up until $2!!!! LOL

Oh NOooooooooooooooo!!! Someone spoke German and that creepy Profit guy came out of the Transylvanian woodwork. Last time I un-iggied him, it cost me three trips to the therapist to get straightened out. Yipes.
The daily share totals are trailing down which tells me there are fewer "shakeable" hands each day. Lord knows they're trying! The amount of new bashing is testament to that. And we are even seeing some older posters getting into the act- maybe a breakout of "Copy Cat" bashers. Some of these folks really deserve to be in the Basher Hall of Shame. LOL. And that the share price has dropped less than a penny and a half with:
A. No A/F's
B. No news
C. Constant bashing
Why, it's a darn miracle we are where we are! Hang in there; the rewards are for those who persevere in the face of adversity.
Actually, even paying members have only 200 "Ignores" at any one time. I know because I had to release some scum out of Iggy Jail to deal with more virulent scum of late. Matt PM'ed me that 200 is the current default. Could we petition for a larger one?
My "Suspicion Index" is October 27th, 2006.
I don't need Petar to know my name. Don't need the company to even "care" about me or my family or all the other folks I convinced to purchase SLJB. Don't really care if they sell the company. Just do it after they execute the business plan and I'm fishin' with airsys!!!
Air, just think about the new Contender and all the good times you'll experience on her. Nothing has changed with SLJB but a few more days have passed without Petar doing what WE want him to do. There is a good reason and we haven't a shred of evidence the delay is caused by anything negative. The company is fine and Petar knows exactly HOW fine and will reveal that to us soon. When that happens, I may buy one of those Contenders for myself!
Give them a few hours and someone on this board will have Mrs' V's cell number. LOL
Thank goodness the goofballs on this board can't bother my CEO. Fringe, I'm sure Mrs. V can get hold of him.
Scot, I'd count me and my wife in... but we'll only be up about a million by December and I promised her I wouldn't go to Dubai until we had made $5 million... say, about April.
Finally, someone who understands!!!!
SOROS, I think your thought process is extremely valid. All of us have "belief" tolerances that are reinforced or challenged by the information we get from our companies and our ability to validate that information. In Suljas case, I think we have so many diverse avenues all coming together in this vortex, it is difficult to really even comprehend where this thing is going.
Top this with Petar's attitude toward penny flippers and all the international aspects involved and you get a vacuum of validity that is very real. If investing in the correct pink stocks were easy, everyone would be doing it profitably. There does exist a certain transparency with this venture due to the stability of the Suljas, but it seems more each day that we are going to go well past a building supply company in Harrow, Ontario in a very short time. When I heard Egypt a week ago, my ears perked up because, before this time, Egypt had NEVER been mentioned. What else that "hasn't been mentioned" is a part of our future? I'm still sticking with Steve Sulja's promise.
Just a thought.... Remember when we were paying for counsel from that slick Madison Avenue law firm? Do you think Petar may have concocted a plan with them to eliminate the short sellers, flippers and hedge funds? Think about it. In good faith he has warned the shorts several times by posting unaudited financials on the web site. Obviously, this group of thieves is a bit more hard headed than most and have consistently thumbed their collective noses towards him.
Petar needed a little more time for Wessal to accumulate. A small delay in posting the financials serves several purposes. First, it gives this Arab partner, and VERY good friend of the company, the chance to complete their block at a decent price point. Secondly, it stirs enough doubt for the skittish to exit their positions. Don't underestimate Petars loathing of the day trade crowd. He has first hand experience with the mentality of this ilk and he can't get away from them fast enough.
Imagine, here's a guy that does multi-million dollar deals sitting on pillows around a low table with strong coffee served in demitasse cups. He moves in a business environment where your word and loyalty supercede the price of materials. And then he reverse merges into an American public company where penny gamblers crawl up your butt daily just to see what the steak looks like! Every word is disected, ad nauseum, in public forums, every twitch, every conversation, examined and probed until you don't even want to open your yapper for fear some goofball with 50,000 shares will revile your entire family from the basement of his parents home.
Oh, Petar knows EXACTLY what he's doing and the execution is going to be a beautiful thing to watch. Very soon we will witness what Steve Sulja promised not long ago... one of the greatest short term returns in the stock market. The fuse is lit and soon it will be fireworks.
Work with me here. Is there enough intrinsic, or future, value to make it worthwhile for Petar to role the entire Consultech Construction company into this public vehicle? We have heard for a long time about CCM Midwest, a much smaller division and one that seemed better paired with what Loftwerks had on their plate at the time. What is CCM worth?
I just don't see Vista, et. al. coming into this vehicle at this time because they really don't need to. But we certainly appear to be integrating into the supply chain of the big Kahuna, Emaar. Successful companies throughout history have formed loose vertical monopolies to reap the economies of scale. Sometimes illegal, but always more profitable, these vertical ownerships (controlships) provide the security of preferential supply and optimization of price benefits.
We seem to have stumbled into the perfect mix of timing and place. Petars connections and knowledge of Arab business culture has vaulted little Sulja into a position of prime supplier to the greatest building boom in history. Where time is money, is there any remaining doubt why Emaar needs Sulja as much as Sulja needs Emaar?
BFogerty, you purchased your shares from a brokerage, not a market maker. It is the responsibility of your broker to deliver your shares. If they chose to do business with MM's that continually "fail to deliver," then it's their problem. In this case, I still firmly believe Petar will find a way to "hurt" the short sellers, but not "kill" them. We will all soon discover what GFYM meant and the real life personification of "short seller captured capital."
Han, I was really giving you the benefit of the doubt up to this post. But I have to ask you an honest question, "Is English your second language?" If it is, you are doing really well and congratulations.
As for the accountant/ friend/ tipster... this guy could give Deep Throat a run for their money. Keep posting.
I'll take the slow road as long as she's moving north! "Slight delay" may need to be added to the oxymoron list with jumbo shrimp and military intelligence.
It does feel like Wessal may be putting the finishing touches on their purchase... with a little help from their friend.
What you "get" for your subscription is knowing that you have helped support a public forum where you just might obtain information that leads you to millionaire status. Oh, and there's a few other benefits, too, but I like the first one best. GLTUA
Pleeeeeze, keep the PPS down for a couple more hours. My daughter is waiting for her check to clear on her brand spanking new trading account at Scott. I think she'll be receiving the gift that just keeps giving with Sulja soon!!!
I am so bummed! Just found out that even with a Premium membership, I can only have 200 deadbeats on Ignore at any one time. Yikes! You could have used that many iggies in a couple days on this board alone. Come on, iHub Master, we beg of you, please set the default higher to spare us our sanity.
What I'd like to know....
What are all these companies Petar was talking about!!! I mean, we've got a building supply company that has a couple outlets, a truss manufacturer and what else? Big question. Do we own real estate? What and where? Are they merging CCM Midwest? What lies beneath the surface of this iceberg that has caused so much accounting work? My goodness, it seems like we could have accounted Exxon Oil in less time. I'm still betting what we are about to discover will blow the investing community away. Hope so because my daughter is entering the stock tomorrow and I'd sure like to appear an "investing god" in her eyes!
Rawnoc, you are extremely bright and done a lot of DD here. Your own, stated goal is, "Find big growth, big margin, small debt co.'s priced at a massive discount to calculable future earnings." Has the small delay of audited financials caused you to sour so quickly on our Sulja company?
Some may have missed your sarcasm. We all want to see the company follow through on their statements and I truly believe they will... very soon.
Petar cares about the real shareholders. And he does not give a hoot about the flippers and weak players. I doubt it was any easier for him today than for us but for very different reasons. First, he KNOWS what the real numbers are, he KNOWS what contracts he has coming, He KNOWS how big CCM Midwest is going to be for SLJB, he KNOWS how the Arab connections are going to grow and he KNOWS how Emaar, Vista, KORE and Wessal are going to fit in the grand scheme. And what's amazing to me, seeing the weak knees today, is that he has basically told us what this company is going to be worth and when. All you have to do is read the statements from him and Steve Sulja.
The quality of DD available for us on this board is second to none. The transparency of the management team, although not as clear as some would like, is far, FAR superior to most pinkies. At times today I was saddened to see some good folks bail because they let the negative energies unleashed against this company hold sway over their investment choices.
Petar hates the shorts as much as we do and I believe he has a plan for their torture and execution that will make George W's policy request feel like a day with Mr. Roberts. I'm going to sleep like a corpse tonight. Admittedly, after I throw a couple Captains in my face, but tomorrow the sun will rise and with it, maybe the much coveted financials. If not, I'm willing to bet we'll see them early Monday morning and the next chapter in my life as a wealthy schmuck will unfold.
I'm just bustin' yer bawls. I love New York and all the insane people who live there. Just got back from my third vacation there in three years. GLTUA
Please tell me you aren't my student's English teacher.
How can you have Fringe on Iggy? He has the best videos and most eclectic content on iHub. Irritating? Yes. But interesting....
You'll be fine. We all will. And we WILL be rich.
