Now that we have illegal manipulation of the stock by a rogue trader they should just suspend the capital raise until we have better news and a stock price over $4. Get grant money to focus on the infectious disease side and just suspend work for 6 months on breast cancer
Bold prediction: TPIV will hit $40 within 5 years. It's a big gamble because we have no idea what will happen in Phase 2 testing but I am betting on Keith Knutson, Glynn Wilson, the proprietary epitopes, TAP and PolyStart.
Can't wait until we get off this moronic bulletin board exchange and onto the NASDAQ!
Did someone just buy 50,000 shares?
TAP and PolyStart could come in handy for the Ebola crisis if we had data for the FDA to
approve.
Wonder why? Somebody expecting news?
Let's check back in 6 months. Things move more slowly than anyone can imagine. How would you feel if you bought into GeneMax when the TAP technology made the news?
I often wonder why it takes so many years for these little biotechs to get their act together. The dreaded valley of death. But every little biotech I am invested in has done nothing meaningful for years. What the hell do they do all day to stay motivated? I know more goes on behind closed doors than we see. But people are literally dying every day because they move so damn slow.
I agree. Wilson needs to get us off the Bulletin Board ASAP. Wish there was a law that prevented shorting of biotech stocks that were deemed critical, potential life-saving companies. Yes I know I am dreaming but I believe illegal shorting is a potential cause of the horrible price of TPIV.
I completely agree TPIV is severely undervalued. Probably due to illegal shorting.
I have 8.7 million shares of BMSN and a comparable number of ENTB shares. When David Koos pays himself with shares of both companies it increases my confidence that both stocks will soar some day. Who knows better than him? He knows the potential of both and Regen better than anyone else. He is working with Tom Ichim, a brilliant and innovative scientist.
Have you looked at TPIV ?
Marina should be a $200 million market cap company right now based on its technologies, partnerships and pipeline.
Nice press release after the market close about Keith Knutson as chair of our Scientific Advisory Board! Our technology plus his current and future epitope discoveries is a huge competitive advantage! He is impressed with our ability to address T cell stimulation and antigen presentation! Read the release.
On a bad day in the market overall.
Nice press release today. Good to see SMARTICLES continue to perform well in the clinic.
The capital raise on May 24, 2010 was above the market price on that day! Read the press release from that day. Confident institutional investors back then before PolyStart and the new Knutson epitopes that were not revealed until 2012.
It's definitely not management's fault. We are a thinly traded stock on the red light district bulletin board. The price is easily pushed around by idiots who don't know what a cancer vaccine is. They blindly short any low float low price stock. Our management knows this. That is why they want to uplist in 2014.
I know it is early and we only have Phase I results, but when I read about the combination of newly discovered epitopes from Keith Knutson and consider they will be combined with our PolyStart with TAP technology, and read the publicly available info comparing our vaccines with those of Galena, I conclude we will make history. I am prone to being overly optimistic, but I believe we will have something more effective than Herceptin.
Yes we need to exhaust all possible sources of grants and free money. I think Glynn Wilson holds somewhere around 500,000 shares now after the preferred share conversion. His interests are aligned with ours for sure. The original debt holders were compensated with preferred shares that became common shares. Their interests are also aligned with ours. Let's all figure out how to make the stock go up with minimal dilution.
I agree 100%! Short sellers of TPIV are indirectly murdering people by slowing TPIV's clinical development. They should be ashamed of themselves! It is infuriating to watch. I agree they should thwart the short sellers by selling shares at $5 or a fair price to wealthy individuals who want this company to succeed. Phil Mickson's wife had breast cancer so he would be receptive! I am sure other famous wealthy folks have had an experience with breast cancer as well. Stop the shorting!
Yes in time it will happen. Always takes way longer than we expect. Short sellers ruin the stock and it's like they have to start over again.
Some group trying to destroy or steal TapImmune. A real shame for all involved.
Patients will lose as mgmt puts off the capital raise now and slows the progress.
How can we stop shorting of TPIV? Stop the destruction of value by evil people.
To Mgmt: Please delay the capital raise until the share price recovers. Ideally find some non- dilutive source of cash through a license of TAP or PolyStart in a non strategic indication. Crazy to raise $20 million during a Biotech Market Decline. We have waited for years for things to develop, what's a few more months?
Only 2 million share float means the price is extremely volatile. Worked against us the last 2 months but any unexpected good news will send it soaring. Should be at $100 million market cap minimum based on current pipeline when compared to peers like Inovio.
Big jump in stock price will occur if interim Phase 2 look promising. Might be too late if you don't check back until 2016. Big jump might be in 2015.
You are probably right. I am just mad I did not take profits when it was near $5. Think it will be a while before we get anywhere near that number. The secondary will knock us down for a while. I still think if PolyStart, TAP and the Knutson peptides perform well in Phase 2 this is a $800 million - $1 billion market cap company. Will take us longer to get there than I thought.
It would be dumb to raise all $20 million with the stock price at all time lows. Raise what they need to get through 3rd quarter and hope that good news stories lift the price permanently and then raise what you need. Dumb to dilute everyone so much. They don't need $20 million now.
I never thought it would go under $3 again after the news in late March, but still don't think it's going under a dollar.
If the TPIV price stays below $2 for months, I will continue to add shares at a faster clip than I expected. Thought the price would stay higher after the folate alpha news in late March, but this downdraft has been steep. I will make it work for me and add a year or two to the 10 years I planned to hold TPIV.
I will hold until Marina is a large cap company with a market cap over $ 10 billion.
I will continue to buy shares and will look to build a position of 50,000 shares if the price stays cheap. Don't get disappointed, just go with where they put the price and adjust your strategy. Puts the payoff further into the future as we are back at Dec 2013 prices considering the reverse split. All the good news since then has basically earned us nothing.
I have been holding since Jan 2012. Will hold it for years!
Great Manipulation which results in capitulation! Excellent work today Mr Market Maker driving the price into the ground for institutional investors to rip off another struggling biotech that could save your life someday! That is if the market would just let these biotechs get a fair price for capital. This exchange we trade on disgusts me.
Never thought we'd see these prices again but added to my position. Thank you short sighted sellers. My goal since early December 2013 has been to build a position of 40,000 shares after the reverse split and hold it for a decade or more as TPIV grows into a large cap company. Getting closer.
My other position in TPIV saw some price declines and could not resist adding to my position. Will now have to wait until the next pay period to add new money to the account to buy GTHR. Thinking it won't be liquid until they do a reverse split and complete the financing. Don't want to pay 3 cents for the stock when it will probably go lower Pre split before the financing. Crazy since the potential is in the hundreds of millions.
Milici seems like a smart guy with great ideas. I am going to bet on him and hold for the long term. Once someone sells me some shares.
Oh yes I could moderate here on GTHR as well. What do you like best about Genethera?
What is Mod?
