I wonder if any other ST clients got the same type of call that you did on Friday. You must have a nice rapport with your ST rep. I pissed my local ST rep off long ago, so I wouldn't have expected such a call--LOL.

How many of us Scottraders have BCIT shares in our accts?
Nice to see the value in my ST account at the $0.15/share level today, but of course still have that damn pound sign next to the ticker.
I've been emailing support @ scottrade.com with supporting information from Megas' PRs and SEC filings. I have only received one reply from them, dated Friday, which I already posted:
Thank you for your email. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, DTC, has issued a Global Lock on BCIT. These shares may not be transferred to another institution. There is no estimated time as to when this restriction will be lifted. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
I'm sure they're sick of me, but we need to be vigilant and all email and call them until they make our shares tradeable. In my situation, I'm attempting to get them to move the shares to a different brokerage firm.
JMHO, of course.
Oh, what will this chart look like...
over the next few weeks and months? Starting to look nice right now...

Raskol gangs rule world's worst city

High levels of rape, robbery and murder help keep Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea, at the wrong end of the hardship table
David Fickling in Port Moresby
Wednesday September 22, 2004
The Guardian
In Lagos, expect chaos. There are gun battles in Bogotá. Crime has been a curse in Karachi. But there is nowhere on earth quite like this.
According to a survey by the Economist Intelligence Unit, the capital of Papua New Guinea has beaten all-comers - again - to take a title that no city on earth would covet.
With poverty, crime, poor healthcare and a rampant gang culture, Port Moresby consistently scores highest in the unit's "hardship" table, meaning it is regarded as the worst place to live among 130 world capitals. Baghdad is not on the list.
According to the unit, most aspects of daily life in Moresby are problematic.
Little bigger than Plymouth, with a population of 250,000, it is a place where murder rates are exceptionally high, thanks mainly to the "raskol" gangs that control large areas of the city.
Tales of their exploits are legion; from bank robberies with M-16 machine guns, to car holdups by mobs armed with machetes.
Rape cases are even worse: in one widely reported incident last year, an injured nurse was dragged away from a car crash to be gang-raped.
Visitors to Port Moresby are advised not to go out after sunset, and to avoid walking the streets in most areas even during the day.
The houses of the wealthy squat behind walls tipped with razor-wire and gates watched by security guards.
The precautions are necessary because a survey of international crime by the Home Office shows that the murder rate there is three times that of Moscow, and 23 times that of London.
The rates for robberies and rapes are just as dire.
But the raskols say much of the violence is meted out by the police, and that they are provoked into retaliation.
The base of Moresby's Bomai gang can be found up a dark sidestreet in the suburb of Four Mile. At the entrance to their squatter settlement a man is on guard, armed with a walkie-talkie.
"The police we know are very dangerous. They come in to the settlement and raid the people's food and property and beers," says Koiva, one of the leaders of the gang.
He has a pattern of welts on his head where he says he was beaten by a police officer with a glass bottle to extract a confession.
Another gang member, Stephen, shows two dark scars on his legs which he says were caused when he was shot in police custody.
Most people living in Port Moresby show little sympathy for the Bomai, whose raids on businesses and residential compounds have made them infamous. "Bloody raskols. Shoot first and ask questions later, that's what they [the police] should do," says an Australian expatriate.
Often, that is precisely what happens.
"I think the government are happy every time the police shoot a young man but we have thousands more youths on the streets," says Peter Gola, a former raskol working at City Mission, a charity that helps the city's street children.
Most raskols argue that their crimes are driven by the crushing poverty of life.
"We never mean to kill people," says Koiva. "We're just trying to scare them and get what we want to get."
Papua New Guinea has no welfare state, so in rural areas family and clan networks have kept people in food and lodging. That system has broken down in the capital, which sits in an arid part of the country where unemployment rates are estimated to be between 60- and 90%.
A kilo of rice here costs four kina - about 70p - and a tin of fish is three kina, but this is beyond the means of many families.
Most raskols say they get into crime when their parents send them out to make money. Pressured to generate an income, they turn to violence. An armed robbery can easily net more than 100,000 kina (£17,500).
"When that happens, we live like kings," says Harris, another Bomai member. "If you're lucky, you eat something good. Maybe chicken."
But there is some hope for change. Twenty minutes' drive from Moresby, City Mission's New Life farm has offered an alternative to the violence for between 5,000 and 6,000 street children since it opened 11 years ago.
The regime is strict: smoking and drinking are forbidden and there is a strong religious flavour to the instruction.
But the founder, Larry George, says the structure and respect of their new lives can work wonders.
"Most of them aren't bad kids," says Mr George. "It's mainly just poverty that's driving the crime. People can read in the papers about the government stealing millions of kina and get really frustrated."
Many of the children, he says, end up as security guards, exchanging fire with the raskols who were once their peers.

Port Moresby, (9°30′S 147°12′E), population 255,000 (2000), is the capital of Papua New Guinea. The city is located on the shores of the Gulf of Papua, on the southeastern coast of the island of New Guinea.
The area on which the city was founded was first sighted by a European in 1873 by Captain John Moresby. It was named in honour of his father Admiral Sir Fairfax Moresby.

[edit] History
[edit] Before Colonisation
The Motuan people of the area now known as Port Moresby, traded their pots for sago, other food and canoe logs, sailing from Hanuabada and other villages, built on silts above the waters of the bay. They also intermarried with the Gulf people and created strong family and trade links.
The Hiri expeditions were large-scale. As many as 20 multi-hulled canoes or lakatoi, crewed by some 600 men, carried about 20,000 clay pots on each journey. To the Motuans, the Hiri was not only an economic enterprise but they also confirmed their identity as a tribe because of the long and dangerous voyages. These voyages are commemorated in modern times by the annual Hiri Moale Festival held at Ela Beach in September.

Queensland raises the British flag at Port Moresby 1883
The area was already an important trade centre by the time, Captain John Moresby, of HMS Basilisk first identified the area of the site later to become known as Port Moresby. The Englishman had just ventured through the Coral Sea at the eastern end of New Guinea and upon encountering three previously unknown islands landed there. At 10 o’clock in the morning of the 20th February, 1873, he claimed the land for Britain and named it after his father, Admiral Sir Fairfax Moresby. He called the inner reach "Fairfax Harbour" and the other Port Moresby.
Actual European settlement of the site did not occur until a decade later when the south-eastern part of New Guinea island was annexed to British Empire. British New Guinea was passed to the newly established Commonwealth of Australia in 1906, and became known as Papua. From then until 1941 Port Moresby grew slowly. The main growth was on the peninsula, where port facilities and other services were gradually improved. Electricity was introduced in 1925 and piped water supply was provided in 1941.
[edit] World War II and after
During World War II, many Papuan people returned to their villages or were evacuated to camps far from Port Moresby. The city was home to an important Allied base and thousands of troops were stationed in the area. Many Papuan men were enlisted as carriers for supply support to Allied armies. As a result villages in the Port Moresby area fell into disrepair and after the war, Port Moresby had to be reconstructed.
In 1945, the Territory of Papua and New Guinea was formed when Papua and the former German New Guinea, which had been administered by Australia since 1918, were amalgamated under a single Australian Administration. Port Moresby became regarded as the capital of the combined territory and a focal point for the expansion of public services.
[edit] Capital City of an Independent PNG
In September 1975, Port Moresby became capital city of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. New government buildings were constructed at Waigani to house government departments, including a spectacular National Parliament Buildiing, opened in 1984, which blends traditional design with modern building technology. The PNG National Museum and National Library are also located at Waigani.
The population of the Port Moresby area has expanded rapidly since independence. In 1980 the census registered 120,000; by 1990 this had increased to 195,000.
In 2004 Port Moresby was ranked the worst place in the world to live, in the Economist Intelligence Unit's ranking of 130 of the world's capital cities. High levels of rape, robbery and murder and large areas of the city controlled by gangs of thugs, known locally as "raskols" were cited. According to a 2004 article in the Guardian [1] newspaper, unemployment rates are estimated to be between 60 and 90% and murder rates three times that of Moscow and 23 times the rate in London.
[edit] Regions and Suburbs
Port Moresby refers to both the urbanised area of the National Capital District and more specifically to the main business area, known locally as "Town". Other neighbourhoods of Port Moresby include: Koki, with its popular fresh produce market, Newtown, Konedobu, Kaevaga, Badili, Gabutu, Kila, Matirogo, Three Mile, Kaugere, Sabama, Korobosea, Four Mile, Hohola, Hohola North, Boroko, a major shopping area, Gordon, Gordon North, Erima, Saraga, Waigani, Morata and Gerehu.
[edit] Transport
Port Moresby is served by Jacksons International Airport. Air Niugini (the national airline of Papua New Guinea), and Airlines of PNG all fly into Jacksons. Jacksons is served internationally by flights to Brisbane, Cairns, Honiara, Manila, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo with Air Niugini. As the national highways system is discontinuous, there are many internal flights to other towns which cannot be reached by buses, known as PMVs locally, eg Madang.
Port Moresby is the only town in Papua New Guinea to have taxis.[citation needed]

I'm jealous, ditch. Perlman... nice...
I had an opportunity twenty-something years ago while I was in college to see Isaac Stern and Yo Yo Ma at a rehearsal--unfortunately, the actual show was sold out, but nice to see the rehearsal, nonetheless. The other famous classical musician I recall seeing was Jean-Pierre Rampal--my aunt took me to see him at Boston's Symphony Hall when I was a teen.
Anyhow, I hope it's a great show!
Has anyone contacted Cindy today?
Sent my email to Scottrade already. I don't expect them to make things easy, but maybe we'll have a pleasant surprise from them. Yeah, sure.
Let Megas put the pressure on corporately, and if we all press them individually, then who knows...
Nice to see the 211... next, Scottrade needs to let us have our shares to trade. I'm sure they'll have their damn excuses once again. Will we have yet another battle? I'm hoping this time around they'll be nicer about things. Not optimistic, but hopeful. Let the games begin...

Just a tidbit of info. . .
Spoke with Brad Goodspeed yesterday and he said a press release will-be forthcoming within the next two weeks. Since Radix is in fact sharing and office and are answering the phones, I am temporarily optomistic.
Also he assured me that Radix's product line is still intact.
Also, roughly 2/1-2 million shares are still in short positions probably held by La Jolla and marketmakers. He thinks they are holding onto their positions until forced to buy- back when the price begins moving up. Weigh this information and come to your own conclusions because it's still speculative.

Thanks for sharing what Brad told you.
Hopefully we'll see a PR within 2 weeks.
If every shareholder would telephone the company, like you and I, c4lady, shakin and a few others are doing, I'm sure it would encourage Brad and Kathy to make for a speedier press release process, as well as an updated website, etc.
Brad is very receptive and answers your questions. 509-248-0283

I guess I was wrong about the directors' compensation thing...
at least looking back a few 10Ks, I found this...
COMPENSATION OF DIRECTORS
Directors who are not employees of the Company do not receive any fees
for Board meetings they attend but are entitled to be reimbursed for
reasonable expenses incurred in attending such meetings.
I didn't find this in the latest 10K, so maybe there was a change?
They're directors...
probably compensation for BOD meeting. I've seen that with other companies. If so, then what was discussed at the BOD meeting? Something leading to recent interest in the stock? In the I-Box above, you'll see this highlighted part of the last 10Q filing...
Among its alternative courses of action, management of the Company may seek out
and pursue a business combination transaction with an existing private business
enterprise that might have a desire to take advantage of the Company's status as
a public corporation. At this time, management does not intend to target any
particular industry but, rather, intends to judge any opportunity on its
individual merits. Any such transaction would likely have a dilutive effect on
the interests of the Company's stockholders that would, in turn, reduce each
shareholders proportionate ownership and voting power in the Company. There is
no assurance that the Company will acquire a favorable business opportunity
through a business combination. In addition, even if the Company becomes
involved in such a business opportunity, there is no assurance that it would
generate revenues or profits, or that the market price of the Company's common
stock would be increased thereby.
The Company has no commitments to enter into or acquire a specific business
opportunity and, therefore, is able to disclose the risks of a business or
opportunity that it may enter into only in a general manner, and unable to
disclose the risks of any specific business or opportunity that it may enter
into. An investor can expect a potential business opportunity to be quite risky.
Any business opportunity acquired may be currently unprofitable or present other
negative factors.
Has another business opportunity arrived? Maybe others are wondering the same thing?
