I thinkj that the longs that are getting rubbery legs should re-read the ECUTEL PR.
This Calypso is for real, company has patent, products, and signed field trial agreements, I've been waiting since May of 2003 and a few more days or weeks will not matter. I'm holding.
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=4782
Calypso Wireless, Inc. have completed a demonstration with Ecutel of its dual mode C1250i Wi-Fi-GSM-GPRS VoIP cellular phone. Calypso's mobile phone, which according to the company utilizes the Microsoft VoIP SIP Client, was able to successfully interconnect with CISCO Systems (CSCO) networking equipment using Ecutel telephony network systems.
The dual mode, Wi-Fi / GSM-GPRS handsets C1250i runs on an Intel PXA chipset solution. The phone was firstly announced in 2003, but it is now being tested on real life networks.
The company's technology provides a system that enables Mobile Carriers and Internet Service Providers to identify and authenticate the mobile user. This creates a platform for revenue sharing between the companies and increased revenues for them by delivering new added services such as two-way, real-time video conferencing on Calypso's cellular phone using Calypso's ASNAP technology.
"We expect contracts for the delivery of our products such as Calypso's Dual Band Wi-Fi-GSM-GPRS VoIP cellular phone, Calypso's WiFi only phone and Calypso's GSM only tri band Smart Phone. Telecom Operators should expect an increase in revenues and broaden their user base by offering new functionalities and services such as broadband connectivity, VoIP, multimedia video streaming and network-based gaming applications," says Alfredo Sarrazin, Vice President of Sales of Calypso Wireless Inc.
The C1250i's browser can be used both inside and outside a Wireless LAN, and users always have access to the Internet, through the network or cellular connections. The handset's battery lasts about 4 hours for VoIP calls. The Calypso C1250i comes with headphones (Mini Stereo Jack), a cradle with USB ActiveSync Cable and AC adapter.
HeyWTF, looks like the bashers have taken control of the board, where's the support, we have a patent, product, successful demos, field trials comming, this is not the time to get weak in the knees and let FUD take over, I don't like the waiting any more than anyone else, but this is a real company with great technology, I haven't been holding Calypso since May 2003 for this. I worked for a major company for 28 years and it seemed that there were always hiccups with new product introduction, the company was over a hundred years old with many long time employees, a 45 year person was commonplace, and new product info was always hush hush with only a hint to the field what was comming and then released with much fanfare only after completing successful Beta Site Tests, get a grip longs.
(Seems the longs are hiding and letting the bashers have their way with them, so get in position bend overrrrrr.)
We need a PR George, lets do what it takes to get it done.
GO CALYPSO..

Been away from the computer for a few days and this is all the new "News" I see, and it's from July 6, is there anything else? PRs ?? This is nerve wracking.
Lets Go GS, let the PRs out, we need steak, not so much baloney.
Go Calypso
Im in, how about the JW Marriott?
Go Calypso
I thought I had you on ignore, but here is another silly girly boy attempt at some prose, you are such a hoot, soon all longs will be ROLLING IN BLING BLING, "better pay attention", the train is leaving the station and you're at the dock writing silly girly boy things. BTW how was Catalina? I will be there this weekend. I don't think you know chit ttr, you appear to be a good wordsmith though, you should be putting your talent to helpful things instead of being so damn contrary, your BS really isn't wanted or needed, should be helpful to CLYW, if you in fact have a position, if you don't have a position you should f..in post else where if you just like to read what silly thoughts you've come up with, I'm (up to 50k now) long since 5/03 and have not sold a single share.
Soon I will be rolling in bling, lol... luv it.
George and Crew are driving and know the route, get on board while you can still get a "ticket to ride" this baby.
GO Calypso, beach house down on the Baja here I come..
G'bye mr. bill,
get a grip, d'u think that Sleipner, AmMovil, CISCO etc would be sticking their necks out if there was a problem?....you can still get back in don't listen to those voices that are out there in la la land, payday is near, the eagle is flying, now is not the time jump ship.

Have you checked out Calypso Wireless, CLYW ?

I don't believe TTR is of the Mr. type, either very much a lady or perhaps one of the Calif girlymen the Gov spoke of, posts are somewhat entertaining, JMO,
GO CALYPSO,
this is going to be a long weekend waiting for the PR.
Many thanks,
A breath of fresh air post. Many of us have waited a long time for this, I for one can wait a little while longer. Thanks for the information, looking forward to a long weekend that I can now enjoy without the apprehension.
GO CALYPSO
Why are you here?
What is disingenuous about it, if I had additiona resources, I'd have bought more at these bargin basement PPS.
How about upgrade? In the real world equipment gets upgraded all the time. Many times upgrades are backward compatible, it may be that only firmware or software download may need to be replaced/upgraded not entire backbone.
What happened to the old analog systems equipment when Qualcom came along with a better mouse trap "CDMA", can you even buy an analog phone anymore? I seem to remember that in the early days of digital phones that there was a dual mode "digital/analog" phone on the market.
I'm not an expert but I don't think that would be a problem, carriers if needed would upgrade their infrastructure.
It may be a little o w i e certainly not an Ouch. Especially in this competitive market, only one carrier, say Verizon, offered ASNAP features, the rest would be forced to follow suit or lose customer base.
I called Calypso spoke to Alice a short time ago, they too are waiting anxiously for news about the demo.
Long Calypso...
I'm in the building automation, controls, special systems, (sales & marketing side) industry since 1973. Some of my competitors in the bid market do dumb things, taking projects very cheaply, that are above their level of competancy and often they go belly up and in the process make a mess out of what could have been a nice project. They often talk a good game, but with the mouth you know some people can do anything, thats all I meant by that. They can't see the forest for the trees, so to speak. From the first time I read about ASNAP, I could see the potential. I don't understand how ASNAP works, but I do understand the need and desirability for the technology, the Company needs all the support it can get, that is why I turn off the naysayers, they can cloud your thinking if you listen to the "can't do" view of things and I am a "can do" type of person. I was recently talking to a engineer with a company that makes telephone systems ,PBX's etc., he said it couldn't be done, that his company had tried it and it would cost too much for the phone, I don't think he really understood the concept, yet he was a trained engineer (probably a good by the book one) but you have to get out of the box.
Just sitting and waiting for the good news soon to come.
GO CALYPSO...
Right on Dave,
That's why I put the Peepod, WiredDog, Boob41, MichelleAllard, Jets and the other bashers and buffoons on ignore as soon as I saw what they were about. Who needs their crap, just bad for moral, I "figgered" they were either being paid for their posts or just plain ignorant of the potential of Calypso, at any rate they weren't helping the cause. In my line of work there's a saying that you can't outbid and idiot, and thats where I place them.
Loosers...
Go CLYW,
Lets hope you're right, I have been holdingand adding to Calypso since May of 2003.
My wife's betting me dinner that the demos will not happen next week (but she did pick up 1K just in case), I'd love a good steak dinner at Flemmings or Ruths. She can't understand why I have been sticking with CLYW for so long, she bought into NWAU earlier this year, a little outfit here in Scottsdale, they're doing great, "GoFigger".
Sad to say but being hopeful about Calypso is the best I can manage do at this point. If the crew starts hedging on the demo due to some tragic event, and I'm in a funky mood like I'm in today, I may consider cashin in and move on to other venues.
Go Calypso
I went to the Sleipner site they have a great easy to understand presentation for the CoMob, confirms my faith in Calypso, the i-Mate PDA2K shown for CoMob has the Calypso logo on it, so it must be/have ASNAP (capable), I want one of those. It appears that doing a Google search on the i-mate PDA2k that it is available everywhere.

Good read, is link posted, and just wondering if anyone on the board has connections to Nokia to verify level of involvment with Calypso?
Go Calypso
TTR,
HEYWTF, make some sense , get a grip.
GO CLYW
I'm a desert rat in Scottsdale, and really look forward to my trips to the coast, going to SD next month (two trips planned) for tuna fishing, just love the ocean. You're right, the desert is good and has been good to me (since 1978), but keep thinking about beach front property in Yuma LOL.
IMO some longs need to get a grip, not waste their time listening to the naysayers. Calypso has tremendous potential, I personally have been taking advantage of these low pps.
Long CLYW
Regards
Where are yesterdays sellers? I'm trying to get another 4K at market, still isn't filled, want/need to have an even 50K.
I love the water but stuck in the desert, Calypso can help me escape.
Go Calypso,
Must be something in the air, my car and several others in the neighborhood got the eggs too. It's not good for the paint job.
Long CLYW
I also have not sold any, have been buying since 5/15/03, I believe in CLYW / ASNAP, so much potential here, and am holding for the big payday (picked up another 5K @ 1.005 today, wish I had more dinero to take advantage of this current opportunity caused by the disgruntled few). I'm holding an even 45K, and I'm going to retire to the beach down on the Baja with this baby. It's so close I think I'm beginning to smell the salt water. GS will get the job done.
Go Calypso :)
Dave I'm in for a total of 30K @ 1.24 average, CLYW will treat us right, this is great, I was in on EDIG some time back when it ran to $24, I was in at .07 very nice. I like the crisp, bright tone of the GHS light gauge on my Gibson Blues King, I have also used the D'Angelicos and Martins (not sure who actually mfgs them never looked into it), both good strings. The GHS Boomers are my favorite to use on the Fender Strat, they're always the same, tone doesn't change from set to set.
Regards
OT - Dave I have used the GHS Boomers for many years, I have a couple of Fenders (Strat and a nylon string) and a GIbson Blues King acoustic. Many Nashville pickers use GHS, another string maker is "Ernie Ball". I have used them also. BTW I picked up an additional 5,000 CLYW this morning @ 1.24, too bad I couldn't get WI's shares @ 1.22, LOL, I think he blinked, big mistake.
I picked up another 5000 today $1.21, two partials to fill my order. Wish I could have picked up more. I don't think we'll see these levels again after next week (pre-supposing the demos go well).
Long CLYW
Is it possible to arange bail for ASNAP? At this rate the next buying opportunity may be under a buck soon.
Go CLYW
I am beginning to smell something in the wood pile, maybe some electronic death, where are you ASNAP, PK2000, CF99, the sound of silence, noticed ASNAP has not posted since last Friday, hmmmm...
No bashers, no pumpers, no news, feeling like the old mushroom, I can't remember when things have been so quiet, is it the lull before the storm?
GLTA
Jaw,
Ckeck this out, seems to me that MRI is a real company in the auto distribution area.

Go HSYN
I'm holding 10K (5K & 5K) @ $ .98 average.

I've been holding and following CLYW for over three years and feel like the well known mushroom, this ridiculous, so much B--- S---, no truths being told, no performance, just promises, excuses, I'm beginning to think its all caca.
Tony Drake's telephone # is 281-579-1602. Call during Business hours and he will answer.
This is within a few blocks of my home, it would be interesting to check this out, especially if CLYW will be attending.
Where does the information for your up-beat posts come from? I look on CLYWs' web site but can't seem to locate any of the positive info you seem to have access to. Thanks
Hello Mick,
I'm a long with XYBR, holding 10K, this company has great potential. Should be very nice movement resulting from exposure in the Russell Indexs's.
