MDGC claims to have point to multipoint technology. In the United States and several other countries, the 24 GHz and 60 GHz unlicensed bands are available for non-spread spectrum short-haul point-to-point applications. These are the perponderence of unlicensed spectrum... Can you clarify what frequency MDGC is using which doesn't require licensing for P to MP?
This is highly unlikely as any spectrum with the bandwidth and coverage Val purports to have would require licensing. Can you tell me the spectrum they are transmitting in?
These are exactly the licenses that MDGC would be required to have that I have been asking for evidence of. If you search the FCC website you will not see any applications or licenses in MDGC's name... Once again, it is difficult to prove a negative, but if this is the positive they are hanging their hat on... God forbid (pun intended)!
I am happy to help here... My sister, a former Idaho Deputy Attorney General, now works for the Catholic Church here in Boise. I will give her a call tomorrow (after Mass) for some guidance as to whom I should contact regarding lease details and equipment installed on the roof. No need for Val to prove any ownership of equipment any more, as I have the right contacts (spiritual and otherwise) to assist.
Let me clarify that I assume Luckydd has an inside perspective based on several comments including:
Lucky, you seem to have some inside contact with the principal(s) at MDGC... If in fact you have their ear, please ask them to contact me so I can validate the technology they purport to have. I have sent emails to Val who suggested that he would get back to me to give me a tour. He has never followed up on those promises. I feel like I have the ability to provide an unbiased perspective on the technlology if someone from the company would show me something demonstrable... pictures, product schematics, actual product, real (validated) test data... anything at all.
Otherwise, without some substantiation of their claims, why wouldn't everyone think it is a scam?
Aren't the markets closed Monday? Maybe not in China...
It is interesting to see how slow the traffic gets when the stock is down. It is further interesting that when one of the promoters is absent, all appear to be absent. Where is the cheerleading for this mighty company with no revenues, products, employees or locations?
Kind of the way people goose neck to watch a traffic accident...
I find it interesting that it was not part of the business plan as relayed by the web site and by all of the pundits herein. Never once in the last two months of following this company did I find any information relating to Chinese and Philippine installs or trials or business being conducted. Interesting that now it comes out and seems to be indentical to business described five or more years ago...
I read the annual report and Alice in Wonderland... I'm still debating over which one was the bigger fantasy...
If in fact all of the Media G3 store revenues is bad debt, it would be the first time I am aware of that internet commerce failed to collect money... I know that my site actually verifies and receives the payment before we ship anything... Maybe I am operating with more advanced technology than this company is...
Lucky,
Are you not concerned that the previous company reports of business in Eau Claire, WI and Boise, ID now have changed (disappeared) and turned into business in China and the Philippines? If not, I have to question you ability to evaluate real business. If so, I have to question your allegiance to the fantasy makers who wrote this report.
Meet me anytime, anywhere to help me understand why you support this POS. I'll buy lunch (and travel costs) if you can show me a trace of a real business. Let's make it Darla's if you can get to Boise. Otherwise, Dim Sum at their Shanghai offices would be good too... FANTASY BS is what this is...
My opinion is that it is interesting that there was never before a mention of the 2 year old tests being conducted in China and the Philippines. And all of the talk previously of Eau Claire, Wis and Boise, ID apears to be gone. This is total BS and clearly supports previous suppositions that the Boise Project (and other projects) were complete fantasy and entirely made up. If I am wrong, where is the mention of Boise in the report?
I assume he reads this board. I also assume several of his partners read it. It will do me no good to talk to him as none of the "followers" will believe anything a detractor says about this company. So far, not one single piece of evidence has been offered in rebuttal to all of the negative assertions. All it would take is a couple of very small pieces of evidence (and I'm not talking about some screen shots of broadband speed web sites). The equipment to provide these types of technology are significant. Show one picture of installed equipment... or an FCC license applications... or a Chinese or Philipine license application... or a cnacelled check to a licensing authority. or a cashed paycheck from an installer... or an invoice from an accessory provider (cables, mounting brackets...).
Conver the unbelievers and they will go away... Keep spewing BS and this will continue to call it what it appears to be, a scam!
Well, if you are convinced of this, I completely understand why you are confused by all of the MediaG3 statements. I am not Paulenator or anyone else. I have never posted on this board under any name other than Paul Hornung. I am fairly sure Val knows who I am. I know he knows me but there is a slim chance he doesn't associate my posts with who I am. All I know is he has texted me 3 or 4 times this week on unrelated issues...
... and all I want is to see some of this equipment. If it has all been moved away from the Boise Project, certainly there must be photos of the equipment. Whenever we use to provision licensed equipment we were required to photograph it and keep copies of all related technical specs. Can you show me any of this? Can anybody?
I think you have your Pauls mixed up... Thanks for the tip of the hat though.
Interesteing that the top of page eight states that:
"MG3's LMDS was developed as the only system that operates at the new European frequency of 43 Ghz"
Here is a link talking about Alcatel's 7390 LMDS Solution which operates from "10 to 43 GHz"
insert-text-here
The real humor is that this is an announcement from 2001...
Where is this equipment manufactured? Where is the manufacturing costs (or capital expenditure) in the financials? What is the provision for bad debt (it seems to be about the same as the revenues)? Did the company sell to itself and then not pay itself? This quacks like a duck to me...
What is illegitimate about asking for clarification on the Boise and Eau Claire projects? Do they exist? Not in the financials...
I don't see any reference to the "Boise Project" or to any midwest cities with the service. Apparently you need to go to China or the Philipines to get MG3 service. This will leave a certain deli I know high and dry...
I keep watching CNBC for the announcements or reports...
I wonder if those payroll payments were made with Media Credits...
Try Darla's, downtown Boise. You'll recognize the little wireless router in the coat closet. This appears to be MDGC's entire infrastructure...
Guys, you are so harsh on MDGC and Val... Is there a chance that their site said the fins would be available "tomorrow"? If so, it still isn't tomorrow... because in Val land it appears that tomorrow never comes...
I have set aside a couple of hours late today to read the financials... Hope they don't disappoint...
I can't imagine that a CEO who is busily preparing new financials and fighting wrongly brought lawsuits, all while rolling our major wireless broadband projects across the nation (or at least in Boise and Eau Claire) would have the time to monitor a board like this and make comments. Surely you jest...
MDGC to the moon! Why stop at a penny or a dime when nothing times nothing means nothing, hell let's push this thing to Google or Apple price levels. With the relationship with Sprint and the deli in downtown Boise, there's no stopping us!
It makes me laugh how the only arguments here are about what's coming, nothing about the lack of anything EVER being delivered. This is my first experience looking at a board for true penny stocks and I must say, there are two types of posters: the crusaders for good and the types who ignore all financial fundamentals and hope to push a worthless stock from fractions of a fraction of a penny to a fraction of a penny... If all of this energy was put to creating something real and good, we could change the world... F that though, let's continue to argue until the SEC shuts this thing down... Only problem I see is once the company is shut down and this board closes... where will everyone go to say "I told you so"? IMO and just my O... Starting to realize that this has been a couple of weeks of my time that I will never get back.
Lucky, your optimism is almost infectious. You certainly must live a charmed life. IMO...
I wonder if this particular elephant can remember way back to when he last touted company achievements that were delivered?
dnet, I am not claiming to be an expert at appraising equipment. I think just providing a list of equipment I saw would assuage some concerns that have been expressed on this board. Certainly the $1million in equipment contains some readily identifiable equipment whose value could be easily ascertained. As for my experience, I have been involved in some large wireless broadband project (both licensed and unlicensed links) within the last 5 years. In fact I drafted several RFP documents for government and municipality projects and assisted in analysis of responses and awarding of contracts... Suffice to say that if I don't know the value of the equipment that Media g3 has in inventory, I know someone who will...
Money, what equipment did you see? Where is it located? Certainly if you saw a project you were shown some large wireless fixed dishes either on top of tall buildings or on towers? Can you share with us where they are located so I can see them myself?
Colemano, I have worked specifically with large consulting organizations and municipalities on wireless broadband projects. This has exposed me to the premise equipment needed in these types of projects and the valuation of such equipment. I also have some experience in a business that was affiliated with a used IT equipment provider. I still have contacts in that industry who would be more than happy to provide me with quotes on IT equipment and wireless broadband equipment. I can only assume that if Media g3 has almost $1 million worth of equipment it must consist of at least some wireless broadband and general IT equipment. Lastly, with the advent of the internet, valuations of used equipment of any kind can be easily ascertained... Thanks for the question...
This is awesome! Other than the media credits and the blue sky there appears to be about $9M in equipment on the assets list. Can we see the equipment? I'd be happy to give an assessment (based on 20 years of industry experience) of the value of the equipment...
Joepenny, you have previously posted comments that make you appear to be part of the organization. Perhaps you will meet me for coffee and set up a tour of the company's facilities... Let me know.
I am just as curious as all of you and would be delighted to be proven wrong about my belief (opinion only) that the underlying technology proposed by the company is either not existent or overstated...
dnet, there is no reason to post the email. As I previously stated Val responded to it saying he would give me a personal tour as soon as possible. I am still awaiting such an invite and wanted to make it clear that I am waiting for such. So as you can surmise, the emails address that I have is in fact correct. For that matter, the address he replied to is also correct so we won't have any concerns about "lost emails"...
Let's be clear here. I am not a "good buddy" of Val's. I have met the man 4 times, the last time gave me cause for concern and that led to DD which led me to this board. I am simply trying to validate claims made both by Val in person and by others on this board so I can ascertain whether or not to entertain offers from Val.
I go in with open mind but a bit more skeptical after weeks of reading this board and not ever seeing any proof of the technologies the company claims to have...
Lucky, I sent Val an email last week. He said he'd "arrange a tour as soon as possible." I have not heard back and thought I'd get a response by posting here since several people on this forum seem to speak from a company position. I thought they could help persuade Val to set up such a meeting.
Why don't we settle this once and for all. I live in Boise and have an extensive IT background including experience working with licensed and unlicensed wireless broadband technologies. I am happy to take a site visit to look at the company's operations hub. I can verify premise equipment, look at the FCC licensing docs, scan the equipment (almost $1mil worth according to the last financial reports) and verify the existence of the normal types of assets that an ongoing business concern would have.
I have met Val. He certainly knows me and probably knows that I am posting here. He commited by email to show he his operations just last week. Let's get it done so all of this speculation can be put to bed... When and where? I am available.
No free drinks... but free wifi at Darla's Deli...
