So all that happened was towards the end of the day the 275k shorts reduced down to about 150k on the day. Despite 45k more sells than buys it still closed up. Lol. The shorts are not blind they can clearly see they are only able to fool Vein, but the longs see their game, we understand what happened. I'm surprised I haven't seen or heard, um you know, the other thing.
X
12:00, the shorts added enough to bring it to 275k for the day. You know why? 2 reasons, It is the 1st day of the 2nd Q, and after learning of the recent milestones, the only longs that have to sell are doing so. So the shorts will try and provide whatever they can to make it appear that the "market" has this priced for recent news, how do I say it, Oh stay tuned.
X
So at 11:00 I noticed that the short count jumped 115k. The question is, how long will it take to soak up those shares.
X
17,800 shares sold at 09:30:01. Only someone trying to influence opinions would do that.
Oops up a Nickle.
X
Results show that when these chromophores are dispersed in a host polymer matrix, the EO materials result in improved macroscopic EO properties, increased poling efficiency, increased loading as well as increased stability of these materials after poling.
Poling, Loading, Stability and they said it couldn't be done.
Cool by me.
X
I'm happy as I can be. Dang, We did it. Sorry, but some folks can doubt whatever they want, I call them the not so confident types. It has been a long, long road. It takes a certain kind of an investor to see this through, I guess that some have shaker knees than others.
Congrats to many of my buds.
X see ya in Denver.
You are either short this stock or you have a personal bone to pick against someone or thing at the company. Take a step back a reread your post(s). You corrected a shorts post to your liking while saying that you were not, then said that investors spending an hour or two everyday, everday, everyday on the current and projected photonics market, taking time out of their life to attend conferences, meet with other companies, invest in other private companies in this field, read very technical whitepapers papers, talk with and request demos at conferences of relevant technology, have meeting with management, meet employees, hold private investor group discussions and tour the lab don't have more knowledge of this than the "collective" whatever that is. Collective only works if everyone talks to each other, you can not take fragmented knowledge and add it all up.
X. Take a step back, don't shoot yourself in the foot. If you think you know better than the collective Board of Directors request a meeting and impart your wisdom at that level, thanks.
I know that they are far and away above my pay grade, but I still take time to ask a question every now and then.
Publicly you claim that getting institutions (index or managed) to buy millions of shares isn't really that big of a deal. If you are long you will win despite your best efforts (conscious or subconscious) to make it as difficult as you can for them, as for me I try to grease the skids.
It will read like this. "I Pumpkin am advising the shorts on this science, while I don't have any credentials in this field, and told you that it couldn't be done I was wrong, Lebby did it. So we are doing a last-ditch effort to bring forth a class action lawsuit to have any disgruntled share holders. Please contact our office. This is our 2nd attempt at this."
It is in the shorting 101 play book.
I'm guessing that punkins boss heard about what happened at the ....... I better not. Boots on the ground. Does anyone know the definition of,,,, nah,,, zip it X.
Happy Easter,
X
Sounds to me like someone else has your password?
Just saying.
X
So, what are your credentials in this field again? I'm just asking for a friend who is in the field?
X. Thanks, he used the word dufus, which is so disrespectful.
Just thrown a little of your experience. I tried to tell him of your losses, he said well he rested his case. I said but he posts like he is so smart, all he said was I certainly does not hope the shorts think that he has a clue.
Come on punk tell him of your knowledge, this is your chance to shine.
Thanks.
This couldn't be any better, we have punk advising the shorts and Lebby advising the industry.
Lol.
X
I agree, he's a good guy, he knows Snez, KCC, myself and let's just the car guy M. I Hope he makes the track to Denver.
Just Frustrated, I guess.
X. Worked on the truck all day, we did 5% today. It will take the average Joe a few days to get it.
20k more buys than sells up 17 Cents close enough to me for the 1 Cent per 1k X theory I constantly point out. As info the shorts even borrowed and threw in 20k today.
20,0000 shares current short, there are 1,000 of those 20k buys times 17 cents is $170.00 a share
Let's say that I'm off by a factor of 10 that is $17.00 Plus $4.50 is $21 a share. And that is on nothing except the current shares covering.
Lebby is very conservative and typically does not make these kinds of statements but he did today.
"This work proves beyond a doubt that polymers are here to stay".
X
Because until now Silicon Photonics was able to keep up, get it? That is NOT the case anymore silicon photonics is maxed out and AI is kicking the Data Centers arses. Lebby needed to show first that is was faster then had to demonstrate a path forward to the next level of performance beyond the 1st step. We've got this for Decades baby.
Sorry Reanimator but you are totally out of you league on this one.
Lightwave Supplies the Material, Lightwave Licenses out the Patents and may or may not provide some help. The foundries are the prebuilt assembly lines, typically one would expect Lightwave would need to build a multi-Billion Dollar foundry.
Not debt and cash on hand for over year. not tricky financing ish
X
Ooops I gotta watch this open because I have 3 buy orders in. OK I was hoping for shorting at 9:30:00 but they waited, I'll grab as shower then check to see if they fill.
This world-class result, achieving data rates of 400Gbps per lane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The data center industry is currently focused on exceeding 200Gbps per lane, primarily driven by generative AI opportunities.
Wow 400, we are getting bought out. Why? "our company's EO polymers are capable of exceeding double the current industry expectation".
So Lebby always said we need to show the indutry that we are not a one trick pony but show them a path forward.
Now that is a nice PR directed at "investors"

A new era in semiconductor design!
Integrating an on-chip modulator, particularly one based on advanced technologies like plasmonic Mach-Zehnder modulators with electro-optic polymers, offers significant advantages for companies involved in chip development. Here's a brainstorm on the potential benefits and the companies that could be most interested:
Enhanced Data Transmission Speeds
Immediate Benefit: The primary advantage of an on-chip modulator is the dramatic increase in data transmission speeds within the chip and between chips in a system. This is critical for high-performance computing tasks, AI, machine learning, and big data analytics, where processing large datasets quickly is key.
Interested Companies: NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and other companies designing processors for AI, gaming, data centers, and high-performance computing would see immediate benefits from such technology.
Reduced Latency
Communication Efficiency: On-chip optical interconnects can significantly reduce the latency associated with electronic interconnects, improving the overall efficiency of chip communication.
Interested Companies: Companies like Qualcomm and Broadcom, which develop chips for telecommunications and networking equipment, would greatly benefit from the reduced latency for faster signal processing.
Lower Power Consumption
Energy Efficiency: Optical interconnects can be more energy-efficient than their electrical counterparts, especially over longer distances. Integrating modulators directly onto the chip could reduce the overall power consumption of computing systems.
Interested Companies: Mobile and portable device manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, and Huawei could leverage this for longer battery life and lower heat production in devices.
Increased Bandwidth
Handling More Data: The use of optical interconnects allows for higher bandwidth, enabling chips to handle more data simultaneously. This is particularly advantageous for server chips in data centers and for complex calculations in scientific computing.
Interested Companies: Cloud computing giants like Amazon (AWS), Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, who are continuously expanding their data center capabilities, would find this technology invaluable.
Scalability and Integration
Flexible System Design: With the miniaturization offered by plasmonic modulators, chips can be designed with more flexibility, allowing for scalable and dense integration of optical interconnects.
Interested Companies: Startups and established firms in the semiconductor industry focusing on next-generation chip designs, like ASML and TSMC, could innovate in manufacturing processes to incorporate these modulators.
Competitive Advantage
Unique Selling Proposition: Having a chip with an integrated on-chip modulator could serve as a strong unique selling proposition, differentiating a company’s products in the market through superior performance metrics.
Interested Companies: Virtually "all semiconductor companies", but especially those in highly competitive markets like consumer electronics, automotive (for autonomous vehicles), and IoT devices, could use this as a differentiator.
In conclusion, the integration of on-chip modulators based on advanced plasmonic and electro-optic technologies could herald "a new era in semiconductor design", offering substantial benefits across various domains. This would not only push the boundaries of what's possible in terms of performance but also open up new product categories and market opportunities for innovative companies.
AdamN (user 846633) is the same person.
X
Tedpeele (user 81790) your new ID AdamN (user 846633) will it be posting?
X. Just asking for a friend.
PR piece? Looks like a notice to the industry a communication "come and get it" thing to me.
Whatever you always claim to know better about how to introduce and roll out this technology to the industry. Anyone can plant doubts about anything, that is beyond easy because you will always be right until you aren't. So I guess you feel good about something until you proven wrong then for rest of your life you can hang your head. Me I like to believe in something and feel even better when proven right. If I wrong oh well, I make my decisions and stick with them, ain't nobody's fault but mine when I'm wrong.
Those patents put in place are now are making much more sense.
X
Wow, it is great to hear what was given 'to the industry' at the conference. So, as I read it, the onboard chip is so small that a customer could order a participating foundry to put it on a chip for the purpose of moving the data from point to point to speed up bottlenecks. I haven't seen the details, but on chip would most likely mean electronic data, to light to waveguide on the chip (now some of those other patents are making sense about moving thru the layers on a silicon chip, mirrors, graters etc.) and back to electrons. Notice that I didn't say fiber but waveguides. Also agreed this is about on chip. So once foundries are comfortable, the customers can order these placed wherever they want. Lightwave would supply the EO polymer, license the patents. It will be difficult for Lightwave to prioritize interest because they can not serve everyone at once. That's a good problem to have. Still, say a buyout in eminent. The stock market is forward looking, AI is frantically looking to reduce the significant pain point issues (latency), so we should see a hugh increase in the demand on the business side and on the equity (stock price) side as well, but once again until the shorts "get it" and cover they will try to hold this down.
And more important than the red green stock market game thing is that I wonder how Lightwave will go about handling all the queries on the ground during the last day of the conference? It is going to be a busy holiday weekend for the Lightwave crew.
X
Thanks. Yes, I just figured it out, so tomorrow is the last day of the quarter.
X
I'm showing that the stock closed up 29 cents. I'm showing 24k shorted shares were returned today. There is that 1k for 1 cent thing that I refer to often. That being said, they may adjust those numbers, but as of now, at 17:20, that what I see.
Tomorrow and Friday are when I usually see the shorts adding shares to drop the price because T+2 Friday is the settlement date for Finra. That being said, Friday is also the end of the quarter and um oh, dang, yippee kaya
Oops gotta go, no time to finish that thought, stay tuned.
X, Unlike Ted/Adam I only have 1 ID. So how many IDs will he get before Ihub figures it out? I think that he knows something big is about to happen and this is a last ditch effort, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.
Ted told us that he does not believe what people say. He only believes what he can find on the internet. True as the day is long.
X
Tedpeele (user 81790) or should I address AdamN (user 846633) same person.
KCC is so far ahead of knowledge in this space, he's got you chasing your tail, dwelling on single words and missing the big picture here.
I kind of think you are starting to slip, does that run in the family history? Talking about single words over and over is weird, as is having multiple ID's.
So are you saying that if someone clicks on one of Tedpeele (user 81790) and AdamN (user 846633) messages then clicks on the purple 'more' above the post (with a little arrow) they can 'report' the violation that Tedpeele/AdamN is the same person using multiple ID's but is most likely fooling Ihub by using different IP addresses? I get it.
I copied Admins post to someone else that tried this below
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=43623520
X With the advent of AI it would be easy enough for Ihub to compare writing styles with a 99% certainty available to academia types. Also, they could determine who is passing around who's ID in the short shop.
Or simply have them log in twice in and compare IP addresses if it changes, it is scrambled.
The truth be told Tedpeele (Adams other ID) is a $0.00001 type of stock investor where he can tell pink sheet types anything. He is not used to trying to comprehend high level EO polymer engineering in a Silicon foundry environment, so he just concentrates on a single word.
X
The shorts need to get on the stick and provide more borrowed shares to tamp this down. It could lead to a 10% up day while the conference is still in full action. I don't want to say anything else..
At 12:30 there are 10k more sells than buys and yet it is up 25 cents.
Well looky there, someone just bought 2k shares up 2 Cents, 1k=1 cent yet again.
Doesn't look like a lot of sustenance in the shorts posts today, KCC has handed Pumkin a beat down and Ted is so worried that he has created a new ID and is concentrating on single words.
F, me and someone got the dinner last year, wine and all I think it was $4k that should buy me a little goodwill.
Ted and his new ID does his best to try and make someone dwell on a single words.
X
Adam I mean Tedpeele (same poster) needs to rein in this in.
That 200k they did yesterday to try and changed the narrative has been absorbed.
X
Let me look, yut Perfect.
18k more buys than sells up 15 Cents.
20,000,000 shorts / 18,000 = 1111 Times 15 Cents = $166.
If I'm off by a factor of 10 that puts the price at $16.66 Plust the current $4.35 is $21 Bucks.
I do see and anomaly of 700k shares being returned that were hidden from my data. I can not explain it.
X Now up 19 Cents on 19,000 more buys than sells Cool by me
The shorts need to rein this in before it gets out of hand.
Ouch they just tride and threw down 10k but the price is up 20 Cents. That is 2 Cents Per 1k. yippee ki yay
The buys and the sells are dead nuts even yet the price is up 8 Cents. The shorts start off with about 7k. Many do not understand some use the phrase that's how the "market prices it". But one has to factor in the effect of the shorted shares to arrive at the true "Market Price"
So 5 minutes later the "Buys" exceed the Sells by only 1k shares and it is up 10 Cents. The shorts have no choice to throw more shares into the mix to suppress the price.
There 1 minute later as I said they just threw in 3 k shares and brought it down to only being up 7 cents yawn. OK now only 1k more Sells than buys and it is up 10 Cents, that is over 2%.
X this is the definition of smart accumulation
Oh the shorts are still operating under T+2 so Today is the actual trade date for the end of the short period on Friday.
Ted do you still have both ID's open? That is an ihub violation to the terms of service.
X
I just laugh, Punkin - over the years I said 100 things that were wrong 1,000 times but I think I was right on one thing.
Punkin when will you ever get it?
It is not work the keystrokes for me to opine.
X Now he is back to 5 to 10 years, last night he said anyone could do it, and the patents do not matter to them patents. I think Lebby said 8k 800 gig in 2024.
KCC mopped the floor with you.
I'm saying a pop at the open, lets see if I'm right?
Yup even though there was a 4,674 sell at 09:30:01 it jumped 4 cents.
For years, Punkin stated that it was impossible to create a stable polymer. Now he is saying that anyone can do it. Told everyone that poling modulators en masse was impossible now says well they are only using 200mm wafers they should use larger 300mm wafers. Told everyone that crosslinking was required, Lightwave showed that it is not. Told everyone that gold box protection was required, oops with the ALD patents it is not needed it protects the polymer and check it out is applied in the foundry. Claimed that ramping via a foundry was impossible, Lol, well there are thousands of modulators on a wafer.
Someone asked how long a foundry run was because it is assumed the industry wants to see multiple modulators from different runs. Unlike when they were experimenting with runs, they don't have to wait for it to finish its run before they start the next run. Based on the schedule, they could probably run them weeks apart.
Some say bringing up his past doesn't matter, but again, all that he is doing is projecting his inability to see the problems with the Lumera molecules on Lightwave. I just hope for his own sake that he did not convince a large, short player that he knows what is going on.
X Yippee Ki yay MFers.
Proto sleep well my bud.
yippee ki yay, yippee
So how did they make out in the end?
Shorts may win a battle or two, but they will loose the war. Don't me wrong, I love the Indians and I donate to them.
Xster pow wow, yawn this is Tuesday. yippee ki yay!
Amen, it is hard for most to understand the need for this.
Nice post.
X
Sure, to the moon. I can not tell you when it hits the wall in every venue or data center it is different.
I'd say once wall street, self driving car, missle, medical procedure has a 5 second delay you'll see.
X That is why I invested here. Certainly not for the market games.
No, I kind of told them how to do it about a week ago. IHUB, needs to step it up the IP ID's and look at scrambleing up market geographically. It is totally random. It won't last though, I hate to teach the shorts. Post from one side of the Baltimore bridge then posting from a different IP in 5 minutes. You can not physically post from the US then post or edit from Mexico in 5 minutes. Should throw up an immediate flag.
My bad, honestly, I thought the shorts were smarter, kind of my fault. Sometimes, I figure out how cheaters cheat.
With AI ones posting styles are easily identified.
X.
