Why am I getting the feeling some folks are disappointed the BP DWH spill did not turn out to be worse?
However, the way it is written seems much more like an advertisement than a product review.
In fact the product really wasn't reviewed at all.
Did you double check your math?
From what you've stated in the past that doesn't seem possible.
New items??? Do tell...
Maybe it's like The Company That Cried Wolf syndrome?
Ya know... If you can't copy & paste it, is it really in print?
LOL!
They are quoting Sarah Young "a zevotek spokesperson". I wonder if this isn't another convenient 'leak' to boost share price.
If there is a solid retail deal ZVTK needs to make it official with a real PR not a picture on a pdf file.
It's New, but is it True?
http://newionicbulb.com/images/pdf/print-consumerdigest-oct2010.pdf
They still need an OFFICIAL PR or it's a rumor. imo
LOL, as you stated earlier today...
Got to agree, somethings rotten in Jersey.
So, should MOPN have a conference call? And if they do would it be inappropriate to only allow an inner circle or "core group" of investors? Would that violate any rules if those MOPN investors were privy to any insider info?
Seems on topic... lol
Walgreens still has the reviews from when the ZVTK Ionic Bulb was sold there...

Sure does... Even the discussion.
There it is... Proof that the ZVTK Ionic Bulb is not working!
LOL! Ya slipped-up thar, buddy!
More dilution before the 10K is released is not out of the question.
Good Post!!!
"I could turn a profit selling these on the street corner."
I and quite a few others have stated the same sentiment in the past.
That FORM S-8 is a Must Read for any potential ZVTK investors.
That would be great! But, if your guess on an evil Haliburton/MOPN connection turns out to be true, I would expect some Greenies to bail out and some of their heads explode.
The PR stated "one of the world’s largest oil companies" so maybe we are safe. lol
Halliburton is more of an oilfield services company.
Yep, another fine example of agenda driven journalism. Good photography though.
"Does the oil industry need a product like MOPN to prevent this from happening again?"
Yes they do! Unfortunately the use of loose sorbents was banned on the open waters. Until that changes...
Well, I guess by being Pro MOPN just naturally makes me Anti oil spill. lol
Officials: Oil probably didn't cause fish kill
(AP) – 2 hours ago
CHALMETTE, La. — Louisiana officials say thousands of dead fish floating at the mouth of a shipping channel likely died from a seasonal lack of oxygen — not the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
Between 5,000 and 15,000 dead fish were found Sunday, collected in pockets of spill boom near the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet.
Species included crabs, sting rays, eel, drum, speckled trout and red fish.
An investigation and samplings by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries show the area was hypoxic.
Long before the oil spill, the northern Gulf has suffered from a persistent "dead zone" of low-oxygen water blamed on nutrient-rich runoff from the Mississippi River.

LOL! I drove right past the MOPN facility last summer and didn't even know it. Of course I hadn't even heard of MOP yet. My father grew up in Littleton, NH and we caught a lot of nice trout in that river. (upstream from Littleton)
BTW, thanks for the pic!
Oh! You haven't made up your mind yet... Sorry.
Company name shouldn't matter at first as long as the buy lots of MOPN products.
LOL, Disagree!
From Marine Fisheries...
"We don't want to jump to any conclusions because we've had some oxygen issues by the Bayou La Loutre Dam from time to time."
The trouble is They have been saying the same thing since the Diet Coffee days. It just isn't news... good or bad.
From an old DCFF PR...
About Diet Coffee, Inc.
Diet Coffee, Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary, Zevotek, Inc. plans to market and sell independently a range of distinct and independent lines of home care and household products. In May 2007, the company entered into a license agreement to sell an energy saving compact fluorescent light bulb named the Ionic Bulb. The company plans to market the Ionic Bulb through TV infomercials, catalogs, magazines and major U.S. retail and specialty stores and the website www.ionic-bulb.com.
bjizzle, being that you seem to be the DD expert of all things ZVTK, I find it hard to believe that you can't find that info for yourself.
But, since I'm a nice guy and I just was looking at their site I'll give you the link...
http://www.newionicbulb.com/blog/infommercial-air-times/
Brian, that's why ZVTK is NOT a home consumer products marketing company. It only has ONE product.
And what's with all your childish name calling??? Grow Up!!!
I`ll give you a simple answer. LOL! They didn't prove that their results of so many PPM of oil was from the BP spill. Storm water run-off could be the explanation. Marinas in particular always have elevated levels of oil and contaminates. How do we know there is much more now?
No IMO, the story was Not accurate to the point it was addressing. Was it from the BP spill or was it there before? Is the reporter and hired chemist (not scientist) qualified to say? How can they say without the before and after data?
Anyway, does anyone know if the MOP sorbent would be effective picking up this invisible oil that can't be seen or smelled or would that be left to the so called oil/hydrocarbon eating bacteria/microbes.
How is comparing before and after statistics being dense?
Even MOP doesn't remove 100% of the oil so you'll aways have a certain PPM residue. The BP DWH spill isn't the first oil spill in the gulf waters so there has to be some oil residing in the background. If they don't have the PPM data from before the BP incident the study is flawed.
And what were the toxic PPM of the samples taken BEFORE the BP DWH spill? They didn't take any before samples! The "Chemist hypothesized" them for your viewing pleasure.
The truth is... out there... somewhere...
Go MOPN!!!
MOP is an oil clean up product. If successful, this company will be paid directly or indirectly by big oil.
IMO, The discussions/arguments here are starting to take on a left leaning greenie environmentalist tone that seem to promote a particular agenda. Was very subtle at first but gaining momentum.
O/S From the last ZVTK 10Q filing...
"As of May 17, 2010, there were 3,040,618,507 shares of our common stock outstanding."
Gotta be at least 4 billion now. Don't sound like BS to me.
When it comes to this "plume" I can't see how MOP products can be effective in the clean-up. They say the darn plume is invisible and if you swam right through it you wouldn't even notice.
I'm starting to think there is becoming an agenda to make this plume seem immediately more menacing than it really is. Now some might say it's "Greenies" wanting to stop offshore drilling. Or, some might say investors in oil spill clean-up stocks such as MOPN are pumping the severity of the plume(s) for the $$$.
Anyway, For those that imagine this plume is a big black gooey blob of oil 20 miles long and hundreds of feet thick... read this...
08/19/2010
Late Thursday, federal officials acknowledged the deepwater oil was not degrading as fast as they initially thought, but still was breaking down "relatively rapidly." Jane Lubchenco, chief of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, said agency scientists and others were "working furiously" to come up with actual rates of biodegradation.
She noted a bright spot from the slow breakdown of the oil: Faster would mean a big influx of oil-eating microbes. Though they are useful, they also use up oxygen, creating "dead zones" that already plague the Gulf in the summer. Dead zones are not forming because of the oil plume, Lubchenco said.
The underwater oil was measured close to BP's blown-out well, which is about 40 miles off the Louisiana coast. The plume started three miles from the well and extended more than 20 miles to the southwest. The oil droplets are odorless and too small to be seen by the human eye. If you swam through the plume, you wouldn't notice it.
"The water samples when we were right in the plume look like spring water," study chief author Richard Camilli said. "You certainly didn't see any oil droplets and you certainly didn't smell it."
If you are not interested in the negative ions, ZVTK's Ionic Bulb is just, um, well, just a very expensive CFL.
People seem to be forgetting the The Ionic Bulb is really All about the Ions. Energy saving bulbs for lighting purposes are everywhere.
Yes I agree. Don't hold your breath...
Waiting for ZVTK to announce a deal with a major retailer.
Investors do deserve an update from time to time though. jmho
Yep, 30th of September to 15th of October...
I've been saying that for months...
chatham, too bad you said to ignore me (zvtk basher that I am) or you would have already known this. LOL!
Quoting your email from Mr. Carlson...
"But will continue to run adds on TV as needed and will expand our media coverage once a retail deal is secured."
It sounds like there HAS NOT been a retail deal yet. He didn't say... once a retail deal is announced... he said... "once a retail deal is secured"
Maybe Annette's Green is Good podcast comments about Wal*mart & CVS were inaccurate?
It's a SunBlaster Ionic Bulb. Not Zevotek.
http://www.valleyindoor.com/product.php?productid=767&cat=0&page=1
This is a Canadian company that sells all kinds of bulbs and products for indoor growing. They also sell their ionic bulb in their retail store, not just online.
Like others have said, it doesn't look like zvtk has an exclusive deal.
Very possible it could be made by the same manufacturer in China.
LOL! That's what they said about the last 10Q.
You are correct in that it all comes to a head in October.
