Fusci, my statement about "millions required" is based on an actual occurence, not speculation. I don't remember mentioning Wal Mart. The major manufacturers such as Monsanto, Scotts, etc. will cut their cost to nothing for their product to squash any significant market share that Itro may get. If you were a retailer, you would promote the product with the highest profit margin for your store, wouldn't you? It's very hard to get a foothold at the retail level nowadays. You need lots of $$$$$$$. Even the best plans won't work without the resources to execute them. Focus on minerals. That's the hot ticket, IMO.
Fed, we've been over this. Any significant marketing plan cost millions, and many large outlets (like Costco) REQUIRE that you spend millions before they will even carry the product. Outsourcing of the bottling process is easy. I'd rather see the millions spent on raw materials, silver recovery, Auric and business operations. IMO we are in for a good run concentrating on the metals aspect right now. The seasonality of the fertilizer business will be less of an issue and fert sales will continue to grow and grow. I do like your new hat, though.
FIBERDOG,
Your 9/6 message to me was indeed a fact. It has been resolved. Thanks for the tip.
Fed, now that one made me LOL. I don't know if the good doctor has any kids. The SEC frowns on cheerleader press releases. As Joe Friday once said "Just the facts, ma'am. Just the facts." I'll look into the Kitco question. Just keep buying.
fusci, who's Doug?
Great post, $hard. This should be posted every other day to remind the longs and inform the newbies.
$hard,
I need to talk to you off-post. E-mail maybe, phone is even better?
Thanks, $hard. My apologies.
$hard,
How is it that my post referring to prox as chicken little gets deleted, but his post #10233, with absolutely no relevant itronics information, is allowed? Who decides what is ok? Just want to know the rules, that's all. Thanks.
Prox,
Have you seen a copy of some PR that we don't know about? I'll buy you a million shares to add to your bazillion if the next PR isn't all positive. Stop being Chicken Little with all your repeated negative rhetoric and provide us with real info. One of the main reasons that Mr. Forkner joined Itronics was his close inspection of the steps Dr. Whitney has HAD TO TAKE to keep the company going. Sometimes a deal with the devil is the only option. Without these deals you would have to post your relentless caustic diatribe on another company's chat board, as Itronics would not be around to be your whipping boy. Compare the balance sheets, sales, and expansion over the last few years; improvements across the board. The R&D phase was indeed costly, but it has taken us to the brink of fantastic profits. I've been around Itro for about as long as you, and, yes, have some shares at $0.17 (ugh). But all this negativity won't help any of us to recover.
Fiberdog,
Just read your 9/6 message. I'll look into it right away. Thanks for the tip.
Fed,
I'll try to answer the questions I have an opinion about or have done some research on. Isn't everything IMO?
1. Formation of Auric with no investors - You need the company and business plan in place to attract any serious investors. Auric was formed only 4 months ago.
2. Forkner has had his bags unpacked for all of about three weeks. Give the guy a chance. He didn't show up at the door with a bag of money. Any large scale investment takes an agonizing amount of time to complete paperwork.
3. Fert and Guardian sales are entering the Fall selling season. IMO orders should be up over last year.
4. Silver expansion project is imminent,IMO. It's too good not to do and will generate steady cash flow.
5. Sales could probably be better with more cash on hand. A stock of materials would ease the peaks and valleys of demand.
6. The pinks are a cheap place to do business, but not forever. As I personally found out, the stock is not accessible enough on the market due to the low price and brokerage commission structure. Zecco, maybe E-trade, is about the only reasonable place to trade it. That's why the volume has been low. There are several ways to remedy the problem. Soon, IMO.
7.Who told you you'd get 'something last week'? Just curious.
8. Keep the white hat on. Just a litle longer.
9. Truly, I don't work for Itronics.
Doug doesn't have any answers. But I might.
Do you and your buddy fed actually think that Itronics can clean up every toxic site in the world with their technology? The problem that you have identified requires a completely different process to clean up, and all the accompanying EPA oversight. You two give Dr. Whitney crap for going in too many directions at once, then berate him for not chasing opportunities like this that would require a completely new line of technology. You guys are so smart, why not join forces and start a new company of your own? The really sad part is that Itronics will someday make a lot of money for both of you. OK, Prix, I'm ready for more of your negative comments toward Dr. Whitney. Go ahead, it will be the same rhetoric we have all heard for months.
Please sell all of your bazillion shares and go away. Your constant negative rhetoric is getting old. Now you are complaining about things that haven't even happened yet. If you truly think Itronics is such a dog, then only a stupid person would continue to own their stock. Sorry the dilution ruined your little takeover plan. Move on, please. Good news is coming IMO.
Thanks to you and ctinvestor. Zecco it is.
Help!! My account won't let me buy any more Itro. Where are you guys trading? Any favorites?
You're right proxy, debt is tough to overcome. And as long as the debt service is like it is, it's going to be a slow haul to increase useable cash flow. IMO new investor money would allow for further restructuring of the debt. Then get rid of the NY boys and the increases in sales will have a more noticeable effect on cash flow. The Stage 1 refinery project is vital.
Per more metals-related press releases, it might serve us to look back in order to see what is coming ahead. The year’s press releases so far in review. There is plenty of good news. And a lot of metals-related info released in a timely fashion coinciding with the rise in metals prices. All of my comments are, of course, IMHO. Sorry for the length, just lots of good stuff.

Fed promised that he wouldn't put the black hat on as long as the stock closed above .0012 from now on. He is rather impatient.
Thanks, Prox. For a minute there, we had some optimism and positive direction going on. Thanks for bringing us back to earth. lol. Can we give this a chance before slamming it? If it goes to .02 again, you can sell your bazillion shares and call it a day. Anything wrong with that? I'll take your "over" bet. Forkner will still be there on 3-11-10. Bottle of Dom?
You hit the nail right on the head. Most of us have been long term stockholders who knew that the swamp was full of alligators when when got in. I also don't care for negativity, as you may have noticed. lol. I don't believe in pointless pumping either. Simple facts make for a pretty good discussion. Thanks for the post.
If it's an existing mine site, the fire department would have assigned it an address, part of public record. Even if the mine closes, the address remains. And it's supposed to be an existing site, right? C'mon, Fed, you can do better than that. Coordinates will work too.
His bottled beverage of choice is Dom Perignon. You can send it to me and I'll get it to him. lol. Don't know much yet. Sure has an impressive resume. This just might be "the guy" that attracts new money.
You're funny, bigkahuna. I had been simmering for 2+ years. I just couldn't take the vitriolic diatribe anymore. My apologies if I've offended anyone (except Fed, of course)lol
I'd be glad to move on if you promise not to bash when the stock settles a bit, as it inevitably will. Keep that other guy away (lol). He's too depressing. I like this guy much better.
Where is my address, Fed?
Guardian is for sale directly from Itronics in one-gallon kits. It can only be sold to states where it is licensed by the EPA, so you can't just open it up to anyone with a credit card. Any successful venture into the retail market would take millions of dollars just for the advertising. IMO, the margins are probably a lot better in the bulk-sales arena anyway. And you don't just walk into Home Depot and proclaim that you are now selling the best stuff. The big boys like Scotts and Monsanto would immediately cut their prices so much that you couldn't sell enough to create brand recognition. That scenario happens all the time. Also, a lot of the big box home supply stores sell fertilizer products as a loss leader to get people into the store. That's a fact. Next topic. BTW, do you honestly think I could answer you the way I do if I worked for Itronics? Get a grip. Both of you. Please.
I didn't think you had the address to the alleged mine site. How about a private reply then? More B.S.
Hey Fusci/Fed,
Where's my address to the mine site?
You are correct about one thing, Feddup. You're wrong. As I asked for, please send me the alleged address of the mine site. You offered it in your post #9622, somewhere "in Walker Lane". Funny how you never answer specific questions, but always finish with a rant to throw us off the subject. Do you need the same sort of detail from every company you invest in? I'm sure companies like GE, Wal-Mart, Kohls, etc. take your irate calls on a regular basis. Back to my very first question: if Itro is full of idiots and crooks, why would you invest your hard-earned money with them? Why does someone always have to get 'screwed'? I'll keep digging in an effort to get clarification of the agreement. Auric will be a great deal, just wait and see.
Thanks for the great article, Prox. Itro's primary market for Guardian is indeed in the Northeast, as stated in the PR when Guardian was released. C'mon, Prox, you know it's always difficult when you bring a new product into a new market. They do have people promoting Guardian in that area. Great tips like this are always a help. I will most likely always disagree with your negative assessments of Dr. Whitney's abilities. But then again, life wouldn't be any fun witout a few disagreements, right? We all have the same goal here, to make $$$. Have a great Labor Day!
feddup,
The plan is pretty clearly laid out in the PR. I don't knkow the timeframe, but considering that the minerals sector is so hot right now, I would imagine that's it soon. Why such a hurry to get off the pinks? It's a cheap place to do business for now. Patience, my friend.
Sorry, feddup, no sinister plot, no evil warlord, no henchmen, not even a secret lair. Please do send me the address of the mine that they have purchased; if they did it hasn't been recorded yet. How do you figure that Auric was formed separately from Itro when it is 83% owned by Whitney & Whitney, a 100% owned subsidiary of Itronics? As I mentioned earlier, Auric was formed to provide the intellectual technology to facilitate mineral recovery projects in the red-hot mining sector. Yes, they will use their technology to complete projects, but won't be giving it away to anyone. The PR means exactly what it says, no hidden, dark meanings. This mining venture has always been a part of the business plan. Check it out on the website, as well as Dr. Whitney's vast experience in mining projects. IMO, this venture could conceivably raise enough capital in a short period of time to get the NY boys out of the picture sooner than later, and protect Itro shareholders if they lose the lawsuit.
As I understand it, there won't be any transfer of technology.
Here's what I came up with $oldier. As you know, Whitney & Whitney is 100% owned by Itronics, ans W&W is also an 83% owner in Auric. Auric was formed as a company to provide intellectual support only in the formation of mining projects. You are correct in your statement that, at this time, there is no project and nothing has been purchased. Mining is the hottest investment area right now, and there are projects in the making. Check out the Itro website under the W&W logo, and you'll see that Dr. Whitney originated in the mining business and has vast experience with huge mining projects, including the largest zinc mine in the world. And this mining venture has always been part of the original business plan. As the share value in W&W increases, it creates value for Itronics (being wholly owned by Itro), and will probably provide some much-needed cash flow. I'll keep digging.
fusci/feddup,
Thanks for helping me figure you out. You are indeed bi-polar. One of you is the bash-for-cash guy when the price is soft, and the other is the pumper when it goes up. Good luck with your meds, my friend. I hope one of you gets better soon.
Thanks, $oldierHard, for your comments. You're obviously a smart guy and seem to be the only one who can keep fusci/feddup regulated on his meds correctly. Fusci, listen to $oldier, he's pretty good at figuring things out, and his guesses are quite accurate. And yes, I was busy at work yesterday and couldn't play in the sandbox with you. Unlike you, I don't have time to sit around in my dirty t-shirt and underwear all day and surf the internet. But I'm sure those "educational" sites you frequent keep you occupied. LOL It does bring a tear to my eye that you missed me. I don't know much about Auric yet, but I'm digging. Keep it positive, everyone!! BTW, The audit was to be 80 grand.
Feddup, you're losing it. Please call your doctor for an increase in the dosage of your meds. You ranted how Auric was formed separately from itro to hide assets, and now the true story is that it's part of an itro subsidiary. Straight from the PR, "For this, Whitney & Whitney, Inc. will be issued shares equal to 83 percent initial ownership in the new company." Once again your ignorance is showing. The fact is that itro has shown double-digit growth in the worst economy we have ever seen. Compare the balance sheets from now to 18 months ago. That's not cheerleading, those are the facts. You should try facts sometime. Everyone but you apparently agrees that the NY scum is responsible for the low PPS. Even Proxy agrees. You have never answered my question as to how your paid-by-the-short-seller, libelolus bashing can possibly help the PPS. Calling me names is ver-r-r-ry professional. BTW, who the hell is Doug?
You're right Proxy, Itro needs to win this suit. Check into NIR's legal history. They don't always win. But Itro and their management can't be all the negative things you say and still have accomplished all they have. Come on, the train's leaving to the promised land. Stop slowing it down and get on board!!!
