Guardian is for sale directly from Itronics in one-gallon kits. It can only be sold to states where it is licensed by the EPA, so you can't just open it up to anyone with a credit card. Any successful venture into the retail market would take millions of dollars just for the advertising. IMO, the margins are probably a lot better in the bulk-sales arena anyway. And you don't just walk into Home Depot and proclaim that you are now selling the best stuff. The big boys like Scotts and Monsanto would immediately cut their prices so much that you couldn't sell enough to create brand recognition. That scenario happens all the time. Also, a lot of the big box home supply stores sell fertilizer products as a loss leader to get people into the store. That's a fact. Next topic.
