My response was to the article’s chart, which to the trained eye shows clear market manipulation.
Nowhere does it state that Amgens technology conflicts with IBIO’s. The stated goal of the Federal Government to produce 50M doses means everyone is going to get a shot at proving themselves. No one or two companies can even hope to come close to producing anything near that quantity alone.

Absolutely fantastic response on Yahoo to the Sweeper hit piece on Thursday. I am still working to confirm all sources and encourage people with relative links to post.

We expect to perform an important role in the emergency response to the current outbreak and to see our technology and products used in other important human healthcare applications in the future." 23) Robert Erwin - "Technology used to produce the ZMapp antibodies in plants is covered by issued U.S. patents owned by iBio, and iBio also has additional proprietary technology that can be applied to increase the antibody yields over current levels. However, we cannot speculate on contracts that might or might not be awarded."
less Nov 12. wtf?
I made my point. I see I’m not going to get any intelligent banter out of you. See you after Nov 10.
There you go
Name an Ebola vaccine that has? IBIO’s technology, which has nothing to do with the vaccines themselves by the way, will be trial by fire like everyone else's. Thats a good thing for longs.
What is key here, and this is extremely important.... there are no vaccines currently approved by the FDA to treat Ebola, yet the Feds are forging ahead because they have no choice. As long as a drug is not going to make a patient worse, then they are going to try it. IBIO’s technology across the board is still in trial phase, but will be given a chance to prove itself as it is simply a technique for inoculating plants with the genetically modified carrier. What numbskulls like the bashers here don’t realize is that IBIO would not be conducting trials for their technology on a Ebola, when there are no approved Ebola drugs. It would be nonsense. Likewise, its nonsense to think they would approach the Feds with an offer to help if they weren’t 100% sure their technology would work. But I digress. Never let the facts get in the way of a good bashing.
Thanks for posting that, you beat me to it. It’s great info for longs and highlights one of my earlier posts. As soon as you can answer my previous question, we can have a dialog.
You’re mistaking an absence of proof for proof of absence. Again, explain to me why a company would put itself out as having a solution to help with the Ebola crisis to THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT in a published news article, if they weren't able to deliver. Convince me. I’m all ears. Really. I want you to make a logical argument. For your sake. Please.
http://ibioinc.com/ibio-responds-to-inquiries-about-its-role-in-emergency-response-to-ebola-virus-disease-outbreak/
No, its not. Image is important to IBIO. Thats why they made a deal to remain on the Amex. I’m sure they want these wild price fluctuations to end, but it isn’t likely without a signed deal.
Thats exactly it. And predators like Rosen and Street Sweeper use semantics, misinformation and outright lies to twist the truth. We’re to believe that IBIO, or any company for that matter is going to make an offer to the Feds that they can’t fulfill? Really? Thats what we’re supposed to believe? Thats what they’re coming with?
The real benefit to longs going forward is that not only can IBIO’s technology be licensed by essentially every plant based Ebola vaccine manufacturer, but it can also be licensed by plant based manufacturers of a myriad of vaccines.
Three paragraphs in and the author begins talking about taking short positions in bio stocks. The hit piece written by Sweeper last Thursday talked about their short position in the first paragraph. So congrats to the author for taking a chance on people making up their minds before they got to the crux of his bashing.
I’m still waiting for someone to approach me with a logical and at least semi coherent argument for why a company with a state of the art facility, cash on hand for the next 12 months minimum, multiple licensing contracts, funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a former advisor to Presidents Clinton & Bush on their Board of Directors, and.... offering their technology directly to the Federal Government in the Ebola crisis is a pump & dump? Because you said so? Because a hack law firm that has nothing to lose and everything to gain by adversely affecting IBIO’s share price said so? I hope you’re better than that. You’re going to have to be.
I traded pennies for 10 years. I’ve seen all of the scams and heard all of the stories. P&D’s don’t care if they are on the OTC, Pinksheets or a roll of toilet paper. IBIO has taken steps to ensure they remain on the AMEX while their stock is beaten to hell by day traders and shorts. IBIO doesn’t regard itself as a penny and image while you’re dealing on such a high level is extremely important. What you have here is simple market manipulation by pro’s who know damn well that the market over reacts to any news good or bad, and they take measures to profit from it.
Anybody reading this who has a position in IBIO and is unsure about it, get out. Because you probably don’t know enough about the underbelly of the market that preys on you. Jackals like Rosen and the current paid bashers attacking the message boards who are hired by firms short on Ebola stocks like IBIO, use your good nature against you. Good luck.
Just so I understand....
You think it’s perfectly reasonable that IBIO would offer its services to the Federal Government without knowing whether their technology would be effective in producing Ebola vaccines? It makes sense to you that IBIO would take such a risk? Whomever is writing your script and or talking points needs to do a better job. Its making you look bad. Ignorant actually.
This is exactly what they said.

I challenge anyone to point to a claim that can be proven false. It can’t be done because the only people with any relevant info are within the company. What proof could Rosen possibly have. It would be laughable if the accusations weren’t so serious.
Unfortunately, we’ll know when we know. It makes sense to me that it’s in everyone’s best interest to allow GT to refinance unsecured debt and come out whole. I’ve had a feeling all along that AAPL was going to do whatever it had to in order to prevent disclosure through court docs. Now we find out that not only is AAPL accepting payment over 4 years via sale of furnaces only, but that its also giving $150M in exit financing to help GT pay other creditors and is leaving the door open to working with GT on SG in the future. This points to a greater role for AAPL in helping GT exit Ch11 in one piece for what amounts to chump change in the world of AAPL. My guts been right on this one so far and its telling me GT will emerge with some shareholder value. I believe this is one of the rare times shares do not get wiped and re issued. Remember, the top 5 institutional holders including BlackRock and Vanguard were prevented by court order from selling. They’ve got skin in the game. Big time.
Is that a question or a statement?
Rosen - Hack Law Firm In Collusion with Professional Traders.
Comment on Sweeper hit piece from SA.
"Accusations are not facts and certainly not proof of any wrong doing. In the case of IBIO, Rosen has neither fact nor proof, but thats beside the point. Rosen’s only goal is to drive the stock price down for his clients. Ask yourself, “how would Rosen have any proof of its claim?” It’s asinine to think someone outside of the company would have such information, let alone a hack law firm that works in collusion with professional traders. And Rosen is making this claim less than a week after IBIO made the statements in question. Again, wheres the proof? IBIO was the victim of 2 hit pieces and a phony lawsuit all in a single day. Now the message boards are rife with paid bashers. IBIO suffers because a drop in stock price from current levels to previous offers those who have taken a short position the greatest potential gain. This is stock price manipulation 101 and jackals like Rosen hurt many good people badly."
LOL! wait... you’re not serious, are you?
First of all, few people have the guts or care enough to pick up a phone or write a coherent email. Ever read this on a board?.. “Somebody needs to call so-and so and find out whats going on." Secondly, do you really believe that that phone calls and emails would ever convince someone working on a business deal to bail? C’mon Man!
Bombarding him is exactly what you do.
got it. thanks
Showing 2’s on the ask. Anyone else seeing that?
Exactly, who would they be selling to without a pump? Where is the buying pressure generated? The buying can only be coming from inside which means either the RM rumor is true or they’re accumulating for a later pump. Unless of course a few professionals around here got together for a P&D spam fest ;) Seriously though, if TFZI is accumulating for a later dump we still go higher in the near term.
Nice. Taking a chance on SPXU FEB 11 C @ .05 Already in VXX FEB 27 C
Anyone playing VXX / SPXU calls?
Thanks. New to the board. There are some extremely talented traders here, really looking forward to learning a thing or two.
Strangle for insurance?
Not the best option chain.
Our recent growth within this sector is demonstrated by the expansion from 40 employees to over 200 employees in less than 4 months. Thats a sizable upgrade to say the least.
Seems to be some serious news. Just starting DD though. Sentiment generally good around here?

A dynamic loyalty environment with major players
On August 12, 2011, Visa announced plans to take an aggressive step toward curbing credit card fraud in the United States by accelerating the transition to embedded Europay, MasterCard, and Visa (EMV) chips in debit and credit cards. EMV is the global standard for micro-processing chips that are embedded in credit and debit cards to provide additional security and the ability to include other applications such as Loyalty.
AT&T Inc. and Verizon Wireless, the largest U.S. mobile carriers, are planning a venture to displace credit and debit cards with smartphones, posing a new threat to Visa Inc. and MasterCard Inc. Apple and Microsoft, two traditional rivals, partnered with other high tech companies to outbid Google's $4 Billion bid with a $4.5 Billion bid for Nortel patents. Google is spending $12.5 Billion to buy Motorola Mobility, but the big prize isn't Motorola's lineup of cellphones, computer tablets, and cable set-top boxes, it's Motorola's more than 17,000 patents, a crucial weapon in an intellectual arms race with Apple, Microsoft and Oracle to gain more control over the increasingly lucrative market for smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
Google sees its future in mobile payments. It is also looking at other ways to reduce the anti-competitive threats against Android by strengthening its own patent portfolio. On August 18, 2011 Citigroup Inc. announced it has launched a mobile-rewards application with Best Buy Co. Inc. that enables its cardholders to redeem ThankYou rewards. The issuer's free app runs on Apple Inc. iPhone or iPod devices and on smartphones that use Google Inc.'s Android operating system. According to IE Market Research, "NFC has the potential to replace cash and other payment methods, and could account for a third of the $1.1 Trillion global mobile payments market by 2014."
Opportunity for Schimatic Cash Transactions Network.com (SCTN) patented Loyalty Program
Into this global market for EMV compliant smart cards, mobile rewards and patent protection SCTN brings an EMV standard for loyalty on a smart (micro-processing) chip including Smart Cards, Smart Phones, and Near Field Communications (NFC) devices. SCTN's US patent 5,806,045 is described as: "A method and system for allocating and redeeming incentive credits on an integrated microcircuit chip platform." The Company has registered patents in United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Australia. Collectively these patents could enable our company to play the role of game changer in the Mobile Payment and NFC Market space, creating the potential for us to realize a substantial increase in shareholder value.

I like it. Lets go with that.
It’ll waffle here for a minute. The ask will probably have to come down to get the real momo going.
Its going to take a minute to hit radars.
You have to. I hit it @ .0019 and thought that was crazy.
Rumor is a Smart Card is ready for release
Hey Welsh, look familiar?
Could be an ALZM type run setting up if there are rumors in the pipeline.
