RDG, the horse isn't just dead, it's mutilated!
I realize it's not iHUB'ers job to raise the PPS and I also realize CPRK has been non supportive of what we would like to see as investors.
But, if we can help keep the pps steady and/or growing w/o taking profits, this would potentially sets off alerts for other investors and/or investment companies who are not looking at CPRK on a daily basis and hopefully attract them to purchase.
It's just an idea and it's a slow day on the board.
MD's sister, the one who mans the front desk at CPRK, told me he was offered some crazy figure by a China company for the mill, but that he would never sell his dream at this point since he would personally be worth more than the offer. This comment was made Nov 21, 2008, the day I toured the mill.
Now, there are a couple different arguements here.
1) Would that same comment be made today? Who knows, but the stock price was .015 around the time I visited the mill which isn't going to make anyone filthy rich.
2) Would MD take that offer if it was still on the table?
My take on both comments is that I believe MD gets phone calls and offers regularly and chooses not to respond. He has taken a very hard headed approach (lack of communication) and doesn't seem to care about anything but the mill becoming operational.
But put yourself in his shoes (if it doesn't make you vomit). This is his life's work and the entire body of work he has to hang his hat on. Selling now would be short of realizing what he truly believes makes him who he is.
Obviously he isn't a business man, we'll agree with that. And maybe he should look at selling the mill, but what I personally guarantee is that what's in place is worth well more $19M and any mine from Kennecott to the next would love to have these mining rights. Maybe they didn't go after the claims at auction because they thought the land wasn't rich, but MD is proving them wrong with every drilling!
The key is not running out of money and getting someone in there who can truly act as a CEO.
Group Question:
If and when we get a positive PR, who will have any funds to make additional purchases? Since everyone who is interested seems to have opened a Zecco account, made their purchases, and helped get us off the bottom late last week, who will be the catalyst to send our pps higher? Obviously we aren't the only investors watching this, but if CPRK isn't committed to getting to a higher exchange and become full reporting anytime soon, how's the message get to buyers who don't know us?
On top of that, I feel we can act as our own worst enemy during runs because some investors on this board are turning over shares for profit? I know we don't control a ton of shares, but there has been quite a bit of accummulation w/ this pps decline. But don't get me wrong, I am all for taking some profit if your risk tolerance tells you to, but holding long is what we need.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to spread the word w/o CPRK doing it?
This was from Jan. 21 - Thought I posted it
Charles,
Two questions:
1) Is the rumor true that the mill is operational again?
2) What exactly did they install and what are the advantages?
Thanks,
Brian
Brian:
My understanding is that the mill is running and the additional "cells" help to produce higher content concentrate..
CAM
There's something for you guys to read on a slow day :)
It really sounds like the MSHA folks throw a monkey wrench in things when they come. I guess the lesson here is not schedule your visit w/in a month of when they say they might get there!
More Q&A with Charles Moskowitz - From 1/22/10 to 1/27/10
Charles,
I am hearing on the board that MD and the entire management team could be history. I think this is very odd rumor given that financing is believed to be in house and that they would have been critical in securing that through their efforts so far. I could see a different lead PM or some other type of manager taking over, but not ousting the entire team and starting over. Have you heard anything to this effect and can you please answer the questions below.
Thanks,
B
Management Team Questions:
- How can MD be replaced?
- What is his role on the BOD?
- Is he not the largest shareholder?
- Who are the candidates to replace if true?
- Who is forcing the issue?
- Who do you think secured the financing, if it's true, and how would they have w/o proving competency in the current management team?
I have NO info on this...CAM
Now there's a rumor that MD was in front of the SEC in Salt Lake yesterday???? Do you have any information on this. Even if you can't comment on specifics, can you comment on whether this is just a rumor?
I have no info on this, but I will ask...CAM
Hey Charles,
What's the chance of a PR this week? Doesn't matter what it is, but the masses are going crazy from the lack of communication.
Thanks,
Brian
Brian:
I have a call into Mark to find out..I will reflect ASAP
CAM
Thanks Charles!
Can you give me some information on this Sherrif's sale set for Friday? What is it? Is this the non institutional lein holders issue you have written about or something else?
In your personal dealings with MD, do you feel he would step down or relinquish any of his status with CPRK in order to secure a better financing package, if there were options on the table? Or, do you feel he will do everything possible to stay as CEO and the ring leader?
--Next Day—
Good morning Charles,
You never responded to my questions from yesterday. Were you going to?
Thanks,
Brian
Brian:
I expect the same outcome as before...cancellation, postponement of satisfied by payment...
Cam
Ok, I was just connecting the dots from past communications. So, the Sherrif's sale is being pushed by and more likely will be canceled by the lein holders, right? Where does the Nevada Star lawsuit stand and can you give me your two cents on that?
Can you not answer my MD question?
Brian:
I don't think it's my position to make that judgement on Mark...I do believe he should delegate more and not get bogged down in stuff that is not his strong point...I think he would be a better COO, and bring someone in who is more in tune with the financial side of the business..
CAM
I appreciate your candor Charles. Is this something you would like me to keep to myself? I realize you don't share info unless you would share it with everyone, but this is a personal comment, not CPRK.
Who all made the list of the mill tour today? Did CandyB get to go?
I heard MSHA employees might be out there. What are they inspecting?
Brian:
I don't say anything that I wouldn't say to everyone...and my opinion is simply that...an opinion.
The business world is full of companies that had a hardworking Individual who had the idea, followed through and made it happen...followed by turning over essential, non-core duties to someone who could more effectively manage them. I believe that Mark is exactly that guy...but he is too busy doing everything...He needs to delegate......
As to who went on the tour, I believe that Rich Waters and Terk Husbands were the only 2 to go....the MSHA is in fact there and that limited how many could go...I don't know exactly what they have an interest in seeing..
This is the only thing we cannot work around...when they get there, we drop everything to accommodate them...Candy did not go...
CAM
By the time we get out there, it better be drinks of elation based on perseverance!!
I'll bring the Crown XR if so!
Well, if the pps is still in this range by the time we get there, I definitely won't be wearing a fluffy shirt
I think everyone going should pick a date, and based on that date, make a shirt.
Front: (your iHub name)

This would be to show support for your investment, nothing more. Plus, it would make us all much easier to find.
Sound good or sound stupid?
BTW: It's not allowing for the spaces, but the info on both the front and back would be aligned so it reads nicer
Sounds great! It looks like others have covered all the questions I would have had.
Have a great time and we'll be eagerly awaiting a post from each visitor :).
What time is your tour?
Thanks Farm! Looks like low trade numbers, but volume's decent.
All of mine are green! However, only NFLX is green where it matters.
I have a nice mix of -29% to -34% and then some company called CPRK who is down an attrocious -72.61%, but rising :)
Yanik/Farm/Whomever - What's the overall buy/sell look like today? The charts I see in TDAmeritrade are fairly inconsistent.
I guess I should have read this first :). Thanks Richwaters, I love it when great minds think alike! I will get you my questions.
Wednesday Mill Tour
From what I am reading it sounds like 3 board posters are attending this tour; richwaters, TerkOH, and our new member of the BOD CandyB.
I am conflicted in my feelings of how important this visit is:
On one hand, it could be the only way we find out if employees/management are expecting the worst from Friday, the future, and we should all cut our loses and get out.
On the other, the optimism and mood could be refreshing on our way to a canceled Sherrif's Sale, awesome CuCon percentages, PR's of LTF, and .05 pps.
More than likely it will be somewhere in the middle, with optimistic folks who are prone to optimism and skeptics who are prone to being skeptical, just like this board.
But, we won't know the half of it unless we ask. So, my questions to the 3 or more whom are attending:
- Do you guys feel a game plan is necessary for the tour?
- Is there a plan for information gathering based on issues posted here?
- Is anyone willing to ask the tough questions?
- Are you planning to rock the boat?
I understand that a tour is a tour. Who is guiding? If Walt (who we toured with) does it, he probably won't have much more than passionate mining information. I assume MD is way too busy with other stuff to do the tour himself.
Just trying to get a feel from the group on what is planned, if anything, for tomorrow and if I can help in anyway.
Have a great time and enjoy the new additions!
Peace,
VVV
Charles probably responded that way regarding the mill since several of us asked last week. He probably assumed that all knew that much and it was "additional" info you were asking for. Here is my q & a with him last week.
Charles,
Two questions:
1) Is the rumor true that the mill is operational again?
2) What exactly did they install and what are the advantages?
Thanks,
Brian
Brian:
My understanding is that the mill is running and the additional "cells" help to produce higher content concentrate..
CAM
Nope, actually I have no clue why they parted ways. Please enlighten. But backup with DD because you are calling Charles a liar.
You can send your response privately if you wish, but I can't return it.
Peace,
VVV
Are there really that few transactions today or are these being bunched by the MM and only executed occasionally?
Why when I looked this morning, the 9:40am EST volume purchase was just above 2M+ and TDAmeritrade had it finishing higher, but now it's 3.11M and claims it finished lower?
Can someone explain how order volumes and final settlement works?
This is just comical! Here is one vote for seeing 5000% above it's low very soon!!!
CPRK @ .0035
52.17% above its low 01/14/10 - 03/03/09
My experience w/ Charles is that he gets back to you very quickly, but isn't long winded. I like cut and dry, so I never read into his responses too much.
You seem to be in a different place, please explain.
Hey Richwaters - Thanks for catching me up!
Great post! The way you presented the information and portrayed the current environment as well as the sentiment of this individual speaks volumes about the patience and long nature of this investment.
One question...was this individual the new mine engineer?
I am very encouraged that it only took a little less than two weeks to get these new cell banks installed. For all the past let downs and delays, supposely vendor related, this seemed to go very smoothly. To understand the Cu percentage problem, install 2 new cell banks, double our soak time and get the mill back operational in < 2 weeks is simply encouraging! This might be too little too late for some of you, but remember this, CPRK has never claimed to be out of the "soft start" mode!
And for all the MD bashing that goes on here, it is encouraging for someone from the inside who knows the daily headaches to support MD. I am not advocating for him if he isn't the right guy, but we will simply never know if someone else could have been a PR maniac and done any better. There simply hasn't been a great deal of good news to report! But, the end of this month and into February, that all changes!!!
Peace,
VVV
Thanks CK-
I am sorry to beat a dead horse, but I have to ask one more time to make sure I am clear on my understanding and communication to my investment circle. I will pose a question and then answer with my current understanding. Please correct or expand on any q/a that is incorrect:
1) Is the mill up and running? Yes - per Charles
2) What enhancement to the mill was installed? 6 additional floatation tanks - per board
3) The purpose of this enhancement was to recover greater percentages of copper through a longer soak time? Yes - per board
3) Cementation is an additional step to recover pure levels of Cu that are left over from floatation? Yes - per board
4) Cementation is not currently in place? True - my assumption
5) Both Cementation and SW/EX processing are additional recovery methods that will be installed as CPRK continues to grow? Yes - if money and other issues align in our favor
Please let me if any of the following are not correct. As I mentioned earlier, I would love to be wrong in all of our advantage, but I am just trying to get my facts straight!
Thanks in advance to anyone who comments.
Peace,
VVV
Thanks Farm-
Cementation sounds like a great recovery process, so does SW/EX...I simply want one or both installed ASAP :).
But, it sounds like CopperKen has provided enough details about what the additional floatation cells are for to help me understand that additional soaking doesn't necessary create any bottlenecks, but simply provides more time to recover higher percentages. Sounds great to me!
Thanks for all the information everyone and willingness to get me up to speed since I don't read the boards consistently!
Peace,
VVV
pwf - Did you mean "wouldn't"?
Thanks Farm, but cementation wasn't the process just implemented according to the feedback I have received this morning. I would love to be wrong, but it sounds like we simply expanded the current processing of the mill by 6 floatation cells. Same process, just more of it...at least that's the way I am processing the information.
I hope I am wrong...someone please tell me I am wrong :). 90% recovery, given that the mill is up and running, would be a weekend full of smiles!
This is ridiculous! I read the post from Obama and instantly dismissed it. No backing to the comment, no further comments, no anything...just an empty rumor IMO.
But, I just emailed Charles and asked him this question to find out. I'll post Q&A when I get it.
I would highly recommend directing all questions to Charles before you waste any brain cells theorizing on posts. At least, once you have Charles feedback, you'll know whether the company has a stance or not. Then you'll have both sides to ponder.
I think that is accomplished with the SW/EX processing, which is what I thought was being put in, but we just increased the capacity of the same process we are running now.
And I thought the bottleneck wasn't with the floatation cells, but was with the screens and drying process?
Can someone who has taken a recent tour and asked the process efficiency question please straighten us out...thanks!
I wonder what processing issue created the change at the lead engineer position???
Cu perentages...
Are you saying that the Cu was not up to contractual obligation, or that at 50 tons a day, we didn't have enough Cu to make our numbers, so we need more volume?
As for the first question, all the results of batches seemed to report out above average Cu percentages. At least, that's what I remember.
Ok, so just additional cells expanding the same process we have been running. Makes sense! Must have been why it didn't take them long to get 'em installed. Thanks for the reply!
Looking forward to hearing news about who is actually buying our expanded product. Do you think our output was too low for the new buyer and they mandated the expansion and are waiting to see the results? Could be a great test of competence and everything goes right, a beautiful relationship for the long term! God knows we need steady cash flow!
Yanik, not sure I understand your question...
Did you mean to reply to my note on shares?
I didn't know Dotson was in front of the SEC. When? Do you have an article or something about this? A post # I can read?
This is a question to anyone, but can someone explain to me what "cell" upgrades were just made to the mill? I thought it was the SW/EX, but that would be idiotic of me to think they could implement something so great in such a short time. I spoke with Charles and he said the mill was running again and the upgraded cells will help to capture more metals. He doesn't seem to have all the engineering facts. Who does?
Management Team Questions:
- How can MD be replaced?
- What is his role on the BOD?
- Is he not the largest shareholder?
- Who are the candidates to replace?
- Who is forcing the issue?
- Who do you think secured the financing, if it's true and how would they have w/o proving competency in the current management team?????
Wow....
Did you sit back, look at all the facts, kick yourself when the stock ran and cheer when it came back down, knowing that you had a chance to buy in at such a low rate? Or, have you been an investor for some time and just trusted the process and averaged down during the lows?
I just recalculated my shares across my accounts. If I wouldn't have sold all my winners to buy a large chunk at .026 when there was no way it was ever going to be lower :), I would be in better shape, but I feel pretty good about my pps.
3.089M @ 0.0117
It's funny that we are w/in $15000 of investment and you have 152% more shares than me :)...great work and I am very jealous! All the luck in the world to you and all CPRK'ers!
I am still convinced all of us will look back on this day and just laugh at the stress and rollercoaster of emotions we put ourselves through :)!
Peace,
VVV
Can't remember who posted it, but did we ever receive confirmation from Charles that the mill is up and running again?
Just a thought here:
I know that several of you guys have opened Zecco accounts and are able to take advantage of these very low priced shares. But, I am a little worried about the group living and dieing by the bumps in pps when it's basically just us purchasing. What happens when we run out of money?
Everyone is obviously in control of their own investing strategy and such, but the group might want to spread out the large purchases so there is a nice bump per day instead of a heavy run on the stock and then nothing for weeks.
We all know the only way to drive up the price comes from the company, but if we are temporarily buttering up our investment warm fuzzies, we are setting ourselves up for a little run, then fall.
Just a thought!

CHARLES FIXED IS EMAIL FORWARDING ISSUE
Charles,
I just wanted to let you know that I compiled all our conversations and shared them with the board. I hope you didn't get too many emails today, but it seems that people who were complaining about you not returning their emails were using your CPRK email address. Do you check that one? If not, you might want to have it forward all mail to your gmail account.
Hopefully the Q&A will allow some to relax and trust the process.
Thanks again!
Brian
Brian:
I appreciate that you shared the info since I can't use the board.....I did check and the problem with the cam@Copperkingmining.com address was that somehow the forward to the personal email was disengaged...I have fixed it, and if you get the chance you might want to share that....since I really do
pride myself on keeping open communications with all...
CAM
RDG - can you please send Charles your list of "tough" questions again and now that we know the email addresses are forwarding, there aren't any excuses for him potentially dodging your questions.
VVV
Hey Richwaters,
I wish I could make it to the tour, seeing the new advancements would be great. I haven't been there since Nov. 08...i'm due!
As for your question, I have to answer publicly because I have a free account. My conversation with Charles has been Sticky Noted...it's post 51705.
Peace,
VVV
Hey Farm,
Directly from my posting of conversation with Charles.
"The fully reporting status is still $200,000 and 45-60 days away, although we could become "Pinksheets" compliant in probably less than 30 days and for a lot less money..."
I don't know how much "a lot less money is", but he acknowledges that fact that it isn't $200K.
I think the point here is that Pinksheets isn't the end goal of CPRK. I won't even start to speculate that I know anything about getting a company listed on an exchange, but will trust Charles that becoming fully reporting is a much larger process.
VVV
IowaHoss,
I thought you had to be "full reporting" to even get on the SEC radar? At this point, CPRK is as much speculation as speculation gets. I am not sure the SEC cares what our PR guy says or would consider him anything more than a potential pump and dump employee.
To others who follow non reporting penny stocks...please reply to this message and let us all know if the SEC cares about what CPRK's IR guy reports behind the scene. I simply don't know if "insider trading" is research at this level.
Peace,
VVV
Charles on subject of $100,000,000.00
CAM,
This was a recent post on the board...do you know anything about it? This information is said to be from a guy who has been associated with the project from day 1.
"I heard that the whole project got a $100,000,000.00 investment/funding with the first $10,000,000.00 arriving Friday!"
Thanks,
Brian
Brian:
I have heard it, but as of this moment it is only a rumor.
CAM
Rumor created by outside investors or rumor created internally by parties who would know?
No clue
That very well could be true, but it's also a very negative event to publish. Obviously it takes quite a while to get one of these agreements done and if they would have PR'd right away, it might have built short term confidence that CPRK was not at fault, but the length and frustration the investors would have felt about how long it was taking to get another buyer might have been worse in the long run.
Just imagine if they would have PR'd this, whether it be one or many PR's.
"CPRK severs CuCon purchasing agreement with RBS Sempra due to many issues not relating to the shipping schedule, tonnage, or %'s of metal in the copper concentrate. CPRK is actively persuing several avenues in order to secure a new, long term buyer. Any interim agreement will use the stockpile of CuCon, not newly milled CuCon as the mill is currently not producing as we install and implement the floatation cells.
As stated previously, CPRK is still in a "soft start" operational mode. These issues will be addressed and solved as is normal during a soft start."
You don't think the skeptics, shorters, naked shorters, conspiracy theorists and others would be all over this??? Eventually, with no more good news to follow, even us longs would be beaten down by the negativity this would create, regardless of how it was spun when PR'd? There are quite a few that would have sold right away...
But, you have a valid argument and there are probably better ways to handle what they are going through. However, Charles mentioned that he'll go back on the Bill Chippas show when he has positive info to share. I think that says it all. We would still be waiting for the uplifting PR to get us back on track. But there wouldn't have been one...
Think of it this way. The RBS agreement really never took hold and never produced anything tangible for CPRK. But the next one will. We have never felt the steady stream of profits or have any clue how many positive PR's CPRK will issue when things are operating smothly. This is part of the faith that needs to drive your investment. Consistent PR would only be hampering CPRK at this point.
Have faith that you invested an amount you are willing to lose, as with any investment, and that CPRK will continue hurdling the many issues they are experiencing!
VVV
