tamtam, good one for you, lugs and rest of the crew.
That's okay, I made 30%+ on $20K from my recent $.397 buys.
If I buy again at $42, I'm happy for me again.
If I never get to buy again because all of you longs are kicking some ass, I'm happy for you guys.
It's not a zero-sum game to me. Others can win at the same time I win.
You guys DID kick some serious ass today, though.
robj
(Hey, I'm out of my one post per day on the ERHE board already--if you want to post this to that board to show I'm indeed eating some hat, go ahead)
thanks for the detailed thoughts, lugs.
Hope you make your money here.
It doesn' really look like I'll get back below $.45 unless there is bad news--which I don't want for you guys.
I'm still looking around to short-term a couple but don't really have any top candidates that turn my crank right now.
robj
good one lugs.
sold too early at $.57
okay though, it was only going to be a trade from the beginning probably.
what do you think of this Mark guy's access to info.
I'm thinking that a lot of today's rise is based on his posting to the message board.
that scares the shit out of me.
well stocks2rise, sorry but I was one of those traders out at $.57. Didn't know my shares were going to stop your rally, though
lolol
I'll be back buying when we're back around $.42.
I'd say mark killed the rally when he said results "in a week or so" as a bunch on here were trading and buying like the results were imminent.
luck to lugs et al.
okay degenerate gambler.
wtf is ERHE going to do with those two payments of $20M or $.06 per share in revenue?
I guess they could buy an elephant with thse peanuts.
This company is a huge, bloated pig solely owned by Offor for his benefit--and that's why they don't communicate like many here are now complaining about.
glad I unloaded 2/3 at $.515
I thought i might be a long-term holder, but when one sees a company with $26M cash talk about being an acquirer, it seems obvious they are a bit delusional.
They may get some pizz money to insure a free carry, but it won't go very far when spread out over 600M+ shares.
The share structure is so bloated the ups and downs in the share price are caused only by the daily orderly execution of trades. News of the block choices, partcularly when it looks like ERHE was able to jump the queue, would have sent a smaller market cap stock way up.
ERHE as a $300M market cap company just doesn't compute, and my last 1/3 shares have become traders, too.
luck to lugs and all.
robj
i'm blinded by your insight richard smith.
ha!
the more and more posts I see about "a fart of gas" a "duster" "105 owner, ERHE, called it disappointing" I wonder if this whole JDZ was over-hyped and will under-produce.
ERHE needs a big guy to release gang-buster results on one of the drilled wells--unless, UNLESS, everybody is talking down results to keep the next round of bidding lower.
robj
hey i really wanted to stay long, but sold 2/3 of my $.397 shares yesterday at $.515 when the stock started looking a little tired on day 3.
Would've held except for the comment that they made about being an acquirer. With ERHEs current cash and 600M+ shares outstanding, I don't see what they could buy that would be acretive--even if they got some $Millions for a partnership.
Plus, in Nigeria, nothing happens on a Westerner's time schedule, which isn't a surprise for those who've held this 5+ years waiting for events that some now are positive will happen next month. Let me see, where have I heard that before.
Ive still got a substantial number of shares that are well-profitable and that can be held until next month's story (or at least the block awards, whenever they happen) play out.
robj
what happened to mickey's board?
thanks, lugs,
good thoughts on the cash.
ERHE just looked a little tired and I had way more than i wanted to hold until news--as this one always seems to teeter on the edge of good news.
Got enough shares left that there is a nice reward if we fall off the edge into that good news.
robj
lugs,
sold about 2/3 today at $.515 with average of $.397.
Didn't like that news about ERHE becoming an acquirer.
$26M won't go very far and they already have plenty of damn shares outstanding.
I'll sit with the last 1/3 of my shares and see where the story goes for a while.
my preference is for ERHE to be the acquiree not an acquirer
okay, while still limited to one post I'll ask the experts here:
Is there more of a chance of a buyout, a partnership or slogging it alone?
robj
I'm sure this is like a parlor trick but this link has how IDCC rates on some of the stock market Gurus' methodology.
http://www.nasdaq.com/asp/guruanalysis.asp?symbol=IDCC&selected=IDCC
I wonder which stock scores the highest?
Yes, but it is not endorsed by Pickens. It is just a comment by a member of that site.
Plus it was way, way, way back in July 2008.
Something more current is needed.
robj
i'm afraid NNAN doesn't have much of a chance into higher volume inroads like paint, wallboard and other green construction materials.
I think they will, at best, be a niche player.
right now too many shares outstanding 70M+ to raise anymore money without diluting the crap out of existing shareholders.
please don't tell me dr. ron price is anywhere near this.
charlatan
just bought into AMNL and finished out a $.61 position. time for you clowns to start ordering some real halloysite or the navy will buy it all.
ha!
you do know that what some here consider DD other consider fluff or even pump. It never directly involves FASC sellling anything.
This is heading sub-penny, imo
Yeah, I'm now officially a long on ERHE
with a basis of $.397, I think I'll either be able to trade it profitably; buy and hold for a buyout (it's the only thing that makes since for Mr. O to cash in); or sell out on next block announcement.
My best read on this is that it should be able to trade above it's high of $.91 sometime.
I've consolidated my IRAs in only 5 stocks now.
BNVI
GNVC
DSCO (only free shares from a good $.485 set of buys and out on the run-up to $1.60+
ERHE
AMNL (.61) (You'll hate this, because it is the former ALMI that I've scalped a few times--and should have again yesterday at $.84). Don't have 100K+ shares like I did last time but I've been looking for some relatively safer havens from the overall market so far this year. Got lucky and have gotten out of some trading stocks with decent profits or minimal losses.
I've tried to buy enough of these 5 stocks to make a difference if I have guessed right.
Not always a good guesser, but sometimes I am.
good luck lugs on all of it--especially ERHE right now.
I think BNVI is a coiled spring but GNVC will be the fastest 2x at this price. (BNVI will be the fastest 10X from this level, though, imo)
robj
IHUB moderator on ERHE limited me to 1 post per day.
wow!
anyway tolet you know I bought Wed and Tr at $.38 and $.375 to top off what I'm willing to hold until the next leg of this story plays out.
Just nibbled on Wed.
But hit it a pretty good lick at $.375 when the volume was only 200K+ and the downforce had obviously abated.
I did have a sale in at $.91, but I'm going to see what happens. It's all in IRAs anyway
robj
the moderator may have limited me to only one post here each day, so here goes.
Bought what I'm planning is the last of the shares for my unexpected longer-term hold today at $.375
Probably be the high for the day, but the downside volume has obviously slowed down, so if it is really down 19 of the last 20 days, maybe this is the bottom.
So I loaded up.
I will trade out of enough shares to have quite a few riding for free just in case this does make it to $1.00 or more.
I haven't seen anything above $3.00 predicted in a long time. Is everyone still that down on the longest term possibilities of this company. At $3.00 per share that values this minnow at $2B--it seems high, but wtfdik
if rufie is right, then ERHE owns a big piece of the only dry hole in Nigeria.
that's the kind of company I like to buy
took a few partial fills at $.38, but finished what I think I'll just hold for a while.
You know, I'll be a millionaire if this stock ever trades at. . . . $1,000 per share
Ha!
excellent lugs.
appreciated.
okay, let's say it is a few of the bigger pumpers on this board selling.
They've absolutely been wrong on their optimistic tone so far, so what makes you think they won't be wrong when they take a more pessimistic view now and sell out?
These are the people who have learned to lose on both sides of every trade.
robj
okay lugs, enough joking from me for a second about ERHE.
You've held it for a while and I only traded it at $.29
I've found myself an unwitting long at $.42 average. I've got a sell for $.68 on just a scalp, but am wondering if I wouldn't be selling this stock just before it finally matures.
Give me your thoughts on where ERHE goes in worst and best case scenarios and in-between.
thanks for the heads up.
robj
have i ever said how much ERHE blows?
Enough so that I had to average down at $.39 today--and that was probably the high of the day.
This company is magical--maybe they would be better off if they ran the Nigerian lottery.
all those biotechs are kind of in a pickle.
some good Conference calls from management, and never a word about a reverse split.
I think they are expecting a partner before that to push them to above a dollar.
Mixed bag if that partnership happens too soon, because the PIII trial is cheap, fast and easy to populate with hot flash women and I would hope the company wouldn't give up the farm on a cheaper than necessary partnership just to stay listed.
Of course there is an appeal the company can make that gives them six more months.
ERHE is OTCBB and I don't think that's necessarily the reason why it sucks so hard right now. (I just bought more today at $.39 to average down--which I hate to say that word)
Comparing GNVC to BNVI, I absolutely think they are comparable with similar futures, but right now if I was buying either one, I would probably put 2/3 in BNV just to buy more shares and 1/3 in GNVC keeping dry powder if it falls to $1.50
only my opinion lugs, but wtf do I know I've bought ERHE twice in the last 10 days.
robj
Waitdog, no problem with you continuing to wait for the share price to keep dropping. Down 25% from anybody's buy at the bargain price of $.02.
This post of mine was removed. I'm going to try it again and if it's removed, I'll lodge my protest with IHub.
All I said was that the stock is trading like somebody other than retail investors know something. All the big trades on Fri and Mon were at the bid.
that's all I said.
Except that I might have called ERHE a big p.o.s.
but only in the kindest way.
robj
The only time ERHE isn't going down is before and after market hours.
glad I could get in at a recent top of $.46
I'm just magical
wcamom,
it was a post that needed a laugh.
Mine are just trading shares and I'm not joined at the hip to this company like a lot are here.
So I'm just interested in having a little entertainment. I, too, think the shares will probably go up, but right now it's in a starring role as a big p.o.s.
robj
now southernman--that's really long-term.
I'll be swallowing the gun long before that with this nigerian nightmare
oh good big blocks going off as it goes lower.
You big p.o.s. do you ever go up?
I knew buying this p.o.s. was a mistake, but I thought the technical buy signal at the bottom of the bollinger's was a good place to try. (Horrible purchase at .46 and I hope it doesn't become a long-term hold)
Begging to get out
hey, lugs,
i bought in for a trade at $.46 before it went in the tank e.o.d. on Monday.
Tried to buy a spec more at $.42 on Tuesday without success.
Just riding everything out.
Heading back to U.S. tomorrow from Playa del Carmen.
I think snow in forecast for weekend where I'm heading.
yech!
robj
didn't see a question about ALMI--maybe you deleted it
I'm sure only good stuff has happened to FASC since. . . JULY!!!!
Could be the last time anybody is willing to pay above a penny
that's exactly right Mickey,
IDCC won't ever get an insider arrested for trading
You gotta buy some damn shares first.
