Many reasons for miss information, you know what I mean.
Hope you and Linda are having a great holidays.
Maybe the next article about IDCC will be like this
IDCC and QC merge...IDCC stock worth 200 bucks a share and the IDCC next Share holders meeting will be in Houston with professor Dickerson presiding.
Say crazier things have happen

cls
Ghors, the the legal system needs to pass more strict laws against corp injustice...if a CEO of a large corp steals share holders and employee's funds, and someone breaks into a business and steels coffee money..chances are the CEO will walk....why? the courts are at fault our laws are very week MO
cls
JK.what a rodeo...thanks for your report...interesting to say the least...now I'm curious as to what the Nokia lawyer would have said if they thought IDCC was going to win, and why they socked away millions of dollars to pay for past infringement. Not sure about who has control in these courts now days.
Again thanks
cls
spree at least he has a IQ
Nokia's mention of sinking more funds into software at the investors relation meeting in Dallas, could be a hidden hint of a future check to be written on the behalf of IDCC with many zero's. Time to move on
http://biz.yahoo.com/rb/031125/tech_nokia_1.html
OT..Has anyone noticed the SP of idcc increases just before the Bonnies gang meet??...spree you better look into that

cls
Hey Art..I'm ready to get chaped..LOL
cls
bulldozer, you guys are putting IDCC under a microscope , thats ok, but remember no company is perfect. I agree that seems to be a tough time lately for IDCC to hit a long , down the middle of the fairway shot...but for a small company it has done ok against the giants in the industry, and will strut with the big boys one of these days soon MHO
Maybe a warm up at Houston's Bonnies and $25+ SP for over 30 days
cls
norfolk, thats the best news ever on this board.
Tell your dad we expect to see him back in the saddle soon.
cls
Norfolk, we will be praying for a speedy recovery for Jim, and thanks for your thoughts on life as a whole.
Life is short.
May God Bless
cls
OT Quartzmano...
Some cases do end up, upside down...many should never ever be concidered to go to trial.
The legal system has given little to tort reform MHO
Do you think the legal system is going to shoot its own foot? They won't trust me.
cls
Lets not think IDCC legal battle is a push over, see below
THE STELLA AWARDS
It's once again time to review the winners of the annual Stella Awards. The
Stella's are named after 81 year old Stella Liebeck who spilled coffee on
herself and successfully sued McDonalds. That case inspired the Stella
Awards for the most frivolous successful lawsuits in the United States.
Unfortunately the most recent lawsuit implicating McDonald's, the teens who
allege that eating @ McDonald's has made them fat, was filed after the 2002
award voting was closed. This suit will top the 2003 awards list without
question.
5th Place (3 Way Tie)
Kathleen Robertson of Austin, Texas was awarded $780,000 by a jury of her
peers after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler who was running
inside a furniture store. The owners of the store were understandably
surprised @ the verdict, considering the misbehaving toddler was Ms.
Robertson's Son!
5th Place (3 Way Tie)
19 year old Carl Truman of Los Angeles won $74,000 and medical expenses when
his neighbor ran over his hand with a Honda Accord. Mr. Truman apparently
did not notice there was someone at the wheel of the car when he was trying
to
steal the hubcaps.
5th Place (3 Way Tie)
Terrence Dickson of Bristol Pennsylvania was leaving a house he had just
finished robbing by way of the garage. He was not able to get the garage
door to go up since the automatic door opener was malfunctioning. He could
not re-enter the house because the door connecting the house & garage locked
when he pulled it shut. The family was on vacation and Mr. Dickson found
himself locked in the garage for 8 days. He subsisted on a case of Pepsi he
found and a large bag of dry dog food. He sued the homeowner's insurance
claiming the situation caused him undue mental anguish. The jury agreed to
the tune of
$500,000.
4th Place
Jerry Williams of Little Rock Arkansas was awarded $14,500 and medical
expenses after being bitten on the buttocks by his next door neighbor's
Beagle dog. The Beagle was on a chain in it's owners fenced yard. The
award was less sought because the jury felt the dog might have been a little
provoked at the time as Mr. Williams who had climbed over the fence into the
yard was shooting it repeatedly with a pellet gun.
3rd Place
A Philadelphia restaurant was ordered to pay Amber Carson of Lancaster,
Pennsylvania $113,500 after she slipped on a soft drink and broke her coccyx
(tailbone). The beverage was on the floor because Ms. Carson had thrown it
at her boyfriend 30 seconds earlier during an argument.
2nd Place
Kara Walton of Claymont, Delaware sued the owner of a Night Club in a
neighboring city when she fell from the bathroom window to the floor and
knocked out two of her front teeth. This occurred whilst Ms. Walton was
trying to sneak into of the window in the Ladies Room to avoid paying the
$3.50 cover charge. She was awarded $12,000 and dental expenses.
1st Place
This year's runaway winner was Mr. Merv Grazinski of Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Mr. Grazinski purchased a brand new Winnebago Motor Home. On the
trip home from the OU Football game, having driven onto the freeway, he set
the cruise
control @ 70 mph and calmly left the driver's seat to go into the back and
make himself a cup of coffee. Not surprisingly the RV left the Freeway,
crashed and overturned. Mr. Grazinski sued Winnebago for not advising him
in the owner's manual that he could not actually do this. The jury awarded
him $1,750,000.00 plus a new Winnebago Motor Home. The company actually
changed their manuals on the basis of this suit just in case there were any
other complete morons buying their recreation vehicles.
WiFi chip company is cashing in
http://biz.yahoo.com/ibd/031010/tech_1.html
mschere my bet is the job has a lot to do with Chinese engineers coming over to help with TD-CDMA...JMHO
cls
Excuse the typo...Sierra Wireless
Serria Wireless seems to be on a roll...hope it will help IDCC down the road
http://biz.yahoo.com/djus/031008/0818000465_2.html
cls
laranger...agree 100 %...they are not going to leave any thing in sealed documents that would cause a train wreck MHO
Thanks for your words of wisdom
cls
amrwonderful..right on! I can not understand a simple yea or ney from Lynn
I wish we were in another court sometimes....could it be better??
Ah for the wheels of justice...the whole world is bogged down in a legal mess, and it will get worse, much worse.
now back to lurking
cls
mschere..corp...could Nok be stalling in the courts to scare competition from licencing with ITC, while they (NOK) continue selling product, to get a head start on sales??? As long as they continue to bogg down IDCC with other players they are running and gunning...and will settle later...probably at a cheaper price and will have mucho sales under their belt...just a thought
cls
I'm in hopes that we will hear Judge Lynn phone conversation with Nokia's lawyers saying
" can you hear me NOW ! "
Time to move on...
cls
Interesting IFX is easing up lately...are they about to hammer a chip deal???
or is it their other products making a rise in stock price??
cls
DD I'm not so sure being a bully after ericy settlement is the answer yet.The process is slower than we would like.
No one seems to be in a hurry as we would like.(.me included)
After watching Q for a few years, there seems to be a strong push from the big boys to go around their technology as much as possible...with their "we got it you pay it " attitude.
I know they are a large company and can say that...but at first I bet they did not. I'm betting that the cogg in the wheel will be removed as soon as Sam comes to the plate...or Nok
3G will come..too much money has been spent...IDCC will get a nice share of its market...MHO
cls
gman1962..I'm with you.
long idcc
cls
mschere, I think IDCC will set a new sales record 4Q
