RR, My vision problem is Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy.

It's caused by an unnaturally restrictive nerve sheath around my two optic nerves. Flakes of placque can enter the optic nerve and kill optic fibers.

It first manifested its'self with an attack to my right eye. In three days I was blind in that eye. This wasin 1994. I was told that I could be blind in my left eue within 5 years.

Nothing happened until 2002 when I started having minor attacks to my left eye. I stopped driving then. The attacks have continued and now only 15% of my optic fibers are functioning.

I had catarac surgery in my left eye, in 2009. with the same wonderful results you have described.
