Idk but rumor has it they are on a Park Benches of the World tour
Speaking of park benches, my wife now less frequently asks me what’s going on with that stock of yours?
She just gives me that disapproving look when we make eye contact and walks away mumbling something or other
If only nwbo would achieve a few catalysts soon I could go from zero to hero!
Grapefruit may be health promoting, and getting a bad rap from AF and others
https://www.eatthis.com/best-fruits-to-slow-aging-process/
Of course the benefits of grape fruit shouldn’t diminish the efficacy of dcvax
Not sure where that statistic comes from but if efficacy is even remotely close to 50% alive at 8 years, that would be remarkable!
Do you think the MM wants some C shares or at least to learn nwbo’s terms and conditions regarding the C shares?
The enemy is at the front door
Yes Louise!
I must be the luddite in the group because I sold some profitable stock to pick up a decent chunk more of nwbo at 0.646 give or take a tenth of a cent!
The logic that the phase 3 met primary and secondary endpoints, and the support from top neurosurgeons, and the UK promising progress just overwhelmed my cautionary nature.
Park bench here I come, or movin on up to the east side
Can’t wait for great events to finally be here!
Been waiting so long as has everyone, that it’s sure to feel like a dream when it’s finally, actually realizing the true potential for patients and investors!
Bullocks!
Wouldn’t blame you one bit if you didn’t check the board at all tomorrow!
If you dock at Newport/Laguna I recommend Las Brisas restaurant on the Laguna coast,
Then again the yacht probably has its own master chef
Champagne wishes and caviar dreams!
What do you have against podiatrists?
Podiatrists are physicians and every podiatrist I’ve met were very intelligent professionals.
Dr Musella is a fine representative of podiatrists and by his actions and accomplishments an exemplary human being and member of society!
What impact on society and the human race can you lay claim to?
And I guess you’d consider DaVinci just a painter?
I’m kinda surprised companies haven’t yet included having their headquarters and/or production/distribution sites struck by pieces of re-entering satellites and other space debri, into the risks section
Probably just misses the probability value cutoff
I’ve already been down that wrong road with you. It’s chronologically incorrect and the risk factor sections of these documents always identify factors even if of low probability.
But you know all this and have earned zero credibility.
My memory isn’t a bet the farm lock, however I remember something like a valuation/market cap approach that bypassed $4 stock price requirement threshold and time above it. I think this applied to NASDAQ though.
The valuation requirement was lower than nwbo’s current valuation, if I recall correctly.
I’m not an investment professional and I’m sure our professional buddies can keep me honest!
It never ceases to amaze me what even one dedicated person can accomplish and cause a butterfly effect that multiplies their energy by orders of magnitude of leverage!
I remember the having some involvement with nwbo years ago as well. Maybe they upped their investment relationship?
Thanks, I had forgotten about this billionaire investor in nwbo and believing in DCVax!
Al is a great American hero imo!
Boiler plate risk statement that applies to any trial, not an indication of outcome.
Sounds very promising!
I’m sure I speak for fellow nwbo shareholders in appreciation for you sharing your first hand knowledge in business and the markets. That’s what makes this board the best!
LP didn’t retract the A and B shares, and create the C shares, for no good reason.
Undoubtedly preparing to put something very important into play!
I’ve tried really hard to keep from buying more shares this past week, staying away from my account and reminding myself that I have other responsibilities to my wife and family and limiting my already large excursion as a percentage of investment assets.
However as soon as tomorrow I may further violate discipline and pick up more shares! Go big or go home and hope the Mrs hasn’t changed the locks
Yea right, slackers use twitter, like Elon Musk, he said with tongue firmly in cheek!
I believe Bright Boy and Poor Man have discussed that selling/placing C shares could take the pricing of the common away from the current manipulated low valuation.
The process of selling the C shares establishes a price for the C shares that a non retail buyer, such as a new partner or equity fund, will pay. This new valuation then supports the price of the common in relation to the presumably higher valuation based on the C shares valuation of what DCVax/nwbo is worth.
Similar dynamics play out with IPOs and other offerings.
The idea of using one’s own immune system to do exactly what it is supposed to do is intuitively a great approach, and was the initial takeaway from my due diligence when I first invested in nwbo over a dozen years ago.
All the treatments my mom was given in her fight against cancer were immune related in one way or another, however none employed a whole tumor lysate approach, instead targeting one or another protein or vascular element, resulting in some debilitating side effects and failure to deal with the cancer’s changes to escape the attacks.
I tried to get her treated with DCVax but between not storing the surgically removed tumor properly and oncologists sticking to more standard options and experimental treatments that they had trials they were running.
I suspect that having shown efficacy against GBM and against other cancers treated under compassionate/private access, DCVax will be successful as a broad treatment approach as the company envisions (DCVax platform.)
That’s pretty cold…just saying
You, me, and virtually all long time longs, have been frustrated to the limits!
Between nwbo stock price and frustration at home, I tell ya, I get no respect. My wife got me down to just twice a month, but hey, I know two guys she cut out altogether”
RIP Rodney!
I somehow missed poutine when I vacationed in Montreal with my family.
Reading up on this “delicacy” I must refrain from eating it due to my triglycerides already being too high.
Is it a coincidence that poutine sounds similar to poutang?
Idk, but I think both can “fudge” you up!
The beating hearts confounds all the false narratives!
The science would appear to be much the same and without the brain blood barrier to deal with.
And speaking of BBB, it would appear to me that DCVax ability to be efficacious across the barrier could be extremely important in preventing metastasis from primary sites to the brain from establishing deadly metastatic brain tumors, but hey, I’m an engineer not a brain surgeon!
So maybe DCVax, in addition to targeting various tumors in situ, would be valuable for a prophylactic effect given the resulting immune response would manifest throughout the body and brain!
Hang in there RD, or don’t at your own discretion. It’s your investment and you know your own situation better than anyone else.
In the spirit of clarifying the investment environment basics:
1. The phase 3 trial has been completed and the Top Line results have been revealed at the NYAS event on May 10th and again at ASCO, endpoints of mOS for nGBM and rGBM being met with statistical significance, and long tail survival benefits (including the existence of previously not seen much extended survival and effectively cured patients) established
2. Decisions have been made along the way in the face of forces opposed to dcvax success and nwbo survival, along with new learnings during the trial and changing RA and medical communities views, and challenges to continue the necessary funding over the years
3. While it is true that nwbo has been either wrong on timeline milestones and had milestones impacted by external factors, it is not unusual for prerevenue biotech companies and their efforts and timelines to be wrong and/or impacted and mostly taking longer to come to fruition
4. It’s normal for you and many nwbo longs to experience periods of varying degrees of frustration, disappointment, anticipation, etc.
5. Many “missed” timeline events are of our own creation and adaptive guesswork over the years, especially when the company has clamped down on communications and other forms of information sharing
6. Considering all the above, nwbo and the dcvax-L treatment have achieved accomplishments and the top level results are such that the chances of approvals are the highest and the existence of patients alive between 5-15 years after diagnosis of GBM speaks as strongly as possible, approval or not
Very interesting indeed!
Do you know the timing of the AMC special dividend?
That is a BINGO!!!
January 27, 2023 by 2:35pm Eastern Time!
Lykiri is the due diligence king!
What’s wrong with using twitter?
It’s a powerful communications medium used by companies and individuals of all stations of stature, pretty democratic.
So many constructive options are possible as a result of this one chess move of creating C shares!
Can checkmate be far off? I don’t think so!
You are incorrect sir!
Not conjecture but public facts.
Approval is nigh !
It’s as obvious as the noses on our faces imo.
Wrong again!
The MM have the sp in a vice, until the catalysts occur.
I don’t know but do you think they invited Dr Liau to present the trial and top results for this esteemed event without vetting or with questionable integrity?
Obviously a typo, NYAS as in New York Academy of Science, not a lightweight association!
