Regarding the unusual volume number....
You folks may have noticed that the number ending in "300" was unusual given that trades were thought to be 5000 minimum in multiples of 500. However, just to let you know, I did ask the person at the PHLX about it and she acknowledged that it was unusual, but had no explanation for it.
As I said on the Yahoo board, wouldn't it be nice if they made a mistake and the actual volume was 2,343,000?

Don't try to deceive with your post title. The lawsuit is regarding Jenna posting derogatory remarks about another poster. IHub is only mentioned in the suit and IMO IHUB acted promptly and correctly by immediately removing the message in question.
"[1] InvestorHub.Com immediately removed the chat room message shortly after the particular message was published. Notwithstanding this fact, many on-line investors saw and read the message on InvestorHub.Com before it was removed."
Guess it's getting dangerous not only to slander companies, but also to slander individual posters.
Sara
My understanding is that posting graphs that are stock related are okay. Also, note that geocities is not a private website where some wacko can hack IP and ISP info.
Sara
Hit the "private message" by accident... here's for public consumption.
And thank you for all the great stuff you post here. I read this board regularly.

Aquasearch Kicks Off Multimedia Ad Campaign for the AstaFactor(TM)
KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii, June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Aquasearch, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AQSE) this week began an intensive, multi-faceted advertising campaign for its premier nutritional supplement, The AstaFactor(TM). Television ads will be carried on KGMB-Channel 9, a CBS affiliate and the number two-ranked station in Hawaii. Full-page print ads will appear in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Hawaii's second largest daily newspaper.
"Wal-Mart, Longs Drugs, and many other fine retail outlets now carry The AstaFactor(TM) throughout Hawaii," said Mark Huntley, Ph.D., Aquasearch Chief Executive Officer. "Our campaign is designed to support their success. Demographics for both KGMB and the Star-Bulletin are a perfect match for our product. Here is our goal. Within 30 days, there won't be a single adult in Hawaii who hasn't heard of The AstaFactor(TM)."
Ads for The AstaFactor(TM) are centered on consumers who volunteer their own opinions about the product. "These are people who have seen their health and athletic performance improve significantly," said Edward Sun, Director of Global Sales and Marketing at Aquasearch. "We simply asked them to tell us their experience."
Huntley pointed out that Hawaii represents less than one half of one percent of the US population. "We believe that what we learn here in Hawaii will be instrumental in accelerating our marketing campaign on the US mainland," he said. "We are focused on growing our recent distribution agreement with Advantage Webco Dodge."
Advantage is one of the nation's leading sales and marketing agencies for food and consumer packaged goods companies. Advantage fulfills the sales, marketing and promotional needs of more than 1,200 manufacturers in the United States. The company represents top brands such as M&M Mars, Tropicana, Unilever HPC, and TwinLab to grocery, drug and mass merchandise outlets, including Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, Sam's, Costco, Albertson's, and Safeway. In Hawaii, they also serve Longs Drugs and ABC stores.
The AstaFactor(TM) is a natural supplement rich in astaxanthin, a potent antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. In a recent survey, 92 of consumers reported that The AstaFactor(TM) is equivalent to or better at reducing muscle soreness, joint pain and other inflammatory conditions than certain prescription anti-inflammatory drugs. Additionally, 76 reported that The AstaFactor(TM) is equivalent to or better than many over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs. The AstaFactor(TM), which is the only natural astaxanthin supplement tested in a human clinical safety trial, has no known side effects.

Just hoping it isn't that severe.

I watched OXGN today and it started out near the the high for the day fairly early on and then slid down as the day went on... and I see what you are saying about the stochastic.
One of the big mistakes I've made in the past is buying on news instead of waiting for the excitment to wear off a bit and buying when it retraces.

Well, that makes me feel a little better. The bad news is my trades this morning weren't too successful... the good news is that I got out as soon as I saw things going south.

Nice looking chart. I did some comparision with some of my long term holds and it was very interesting. Fortunately, my two biggest holdings look pretty good on the max chart.
I have some ideas for todays trading... if it doesn't work out well, I'm going to step back again from my attempts at the short term... at least for now.

Vendit, thanks for your take on the GNTA chart. It has looked particularly good to me lately with good news, increase board activity on RB, increased volume as well as that nice chart.
You mentioned that you didn't think candles are good for predicting beyond the next day, what other kinds of TA, if any, do you believe have better predictive abilities for the long run?

Todays Annual Meeting Summary, from yahoo thread. Thanks to (Tommny). - First 15 minutes were scripted legal stuff regarding the proxy votes. (all three votes passed with approximately 75% of the votes cast)
- Genta is no longer an antisense company. It is now considered a "diversified oncology company".
- Statistically over the past few months Genta has done better than the biotech index, the nasdaq, and "anything else you can measure it against".
- Company has recently consolidated it's operations and all of it's previous offices (California, Lexington Mass, NYC,) in Berkley Heights NJ in a heartland of the pharmaceutical industry. Warrell joked that it will now be easier to plunder the other pharma's employees.
- Many new and improved marketing initiatives from hiring the new Marketing director to two recent revisions to the website.
- Discussed analysts coverage (Needham, Gruntal, Janney Montgomery, and Ladenburg) All of which have issued Strong Buys)
- Technical discussion used the slides from the Wall Street Analysts Conference from last week.
- Four current areas: Antisense (Genasense), Gallium (Ganite - this is the intravenous therapy for bone loss), Androgenics (this is the prostate therapy), and Decoy Aptemers (which were not discussed)
- Genasense will be manufactured by Avecia Ltd., a U.K. company. Company has contracted for two years and has manufacturing facilities in Scotland (for the European manufacturing) and in Massachusettes for the U.S. Each site can be used as back up for the other.
- Androgenics and Gallium. Anticipates these to be in clinical trials by this time next year. (Gallium clinical will be for the oral ganite)
- Still anticipate partnering for Europe. Have spoken with all of the majors. European partner will have to handle the NDA in Europe.
- Still anticipate keeping the US market for ourself but Warrell did not seem as adament about this.
- Asked the IR person Tara Spiess about Janney's comment about a potential takeout. She said they do not comment on analysts speculation. She said it would not be prudent to entirely rule out a sale if the price were right.
- Genasense is the only unpartnered blockbuster cancer drug out there at this time. Our clinical trial efficacy puts us ahead of the market.
All good news no big announcement.
My impression?...This is going to be HUGE.
Warrell commented that he has been involved in four NDA's and Dr. Itri (isn't that Mrs. Dr. Itri-Warrell???) has been involved in at least 10 NDA's. Lot's of good experience. (Sorry I couldn't bring myself to ask how many of these were approved).
Warrell is one smooth dude. Much more comfortable and confident than last year. He knows he has a winner here. (Can you say Nobel Prize??)
No specific discussion of the number of people in the trial but it did not seem that small as it is being conducted at many medical centers around the country and abroad. In fact two people specifically asked how someone goes about getting into the trials. One person seemed very desperate. Warrell was asked about European Partner and was also asked about when the company would be profitable.
His answer to the partnering was that Genasense is the only blockbuster cancer drug that is not partnered at this time. Everyone has wanted to speak with our guys regarding partnering and, I assume, acquistion. I think he was alluding to the fact that any partnering agreement we sign would be significant.
Regarding profitability, Warrell said that if we partner this year, it will do alot towards making us profitable. I personally believe he was understating the obvious.
I think that if a partnering agreement is announced it will be huge for the stock price. Because it will demonstrate that someone is willing to "share" some of the risk.
