The attention that the press will be paying to the Nortel patent auction will cause the market to take another look at the market cap of Interdigital and see how undervalued IDCC is at the current stock price.

Maybe that's why we're going higher today.

I agree that there is some bias on Jims board, but you have to admit when there is bickering you are in the middle of the discussion. I also agree Jim is a little quick to delete your posts. I'd like to suggest a compromise. It seems Miller rubs you wrong, why not just put him on Ignore? Wouldn't life be simpler if you could skip over his posts? Things about Miller irritate me too, but over all, I don't let him get under my skin like he does you. People look at their investment in different ways and have the same right you do to express their views. Bottom line....it's no fun for others to watch the pizzing contests. Let's all just try to get along. Hopefully we will have some great news for all longs and there will be no more reason for any bickering. Just saying........

I didn't start the "personality clashes"... nor have I ever picked a fight that I wasn't fully ready to answer the bell for.

Why do you feel a need to even pick a fight? I remember how you single-handedly dismembered the old coffee shop board with politics. It appears you like or enjoy the bickering. Wouldn't it just be easier to ignore those who annoy you? Why can't we all just get along? After all, most of us have common goals with our investment.....that being IDCC.

IMO, it just doesn't make any sense for it to take this long..........especially if CAFC is just going to confirm the ITC decision. It does makes sense if they over turn ITC. Can someone explain if my thinking is incorrect? Thanks!

I am also pretty upset that IDCC has not brought suit against ERICY or Motorola unless those parties are somehow tied to the Nokia case. We have been told that they are not but then why have we not gone after them in all these years especially since we supposedly have had a framework already in place with ERICY since 2003. It looks like IDCC is just waiting for a rate and that appears to be tied to Nokia.

Warbil, your statement above would be a great question to ask at the upcoming shareholders meeting. I've often wondered the same.

IMO, that question is impossible to answer. If any of us had the answer, they would become wealthy by either shorting or going long. It's obvious most of us believe IDCC will be higher......much higher in the coming months and/or years or we wouldn't be reading this forum.

Fog, just curious........why couldn't you simply order the new Ipad online? What you save in sales tax would cover shipping costs. Myself, I'd rather wait an extra day or 2 than stand in line for hours at the store.

Note: Even if you have to pay sales tax online I'd rather pay a little extra than wait in line for hours.

Now that's interesting. IIRC, someone here posted that IDCC had more LTE patents than Qualcomm. According to the pie chart, Q has 3 times as much LTE.

It seems that IDCC's policy is "walk softly and carry a BIG stick". That's fine and dandy, but it wouldn't hurt to publicize the "big stick" part once in a while. JMO

IMO, if what Merritt says about shareholder value is true, he might want to become more aggressive in his marketing technique. This drastic spiral downward is totally uncalled for. IDCC's current fundamentals should be more than enough to sustain $50 shareprice............like I said, this is JMO.

BUT, maybe the gap is filled, whatever the significance of that is, and we resume our climb.

Please share what it is that causes you to think the gap is filled and IDCC should rise from here.

And I thought IDCC had a high short percentage at 17%. Check out Hormel (HRL). The link below states that Hormel has SI at 55%. That's over half of their float.
