According to history, the blue line was where victory struck and blue carried the flag home.
Scratch one Flat Top...
Sorry about the original on June 6th and the destroyer lost with her.
Wave,
Can't PM. Yes... Fun. Like taking a carrier group to Truk... You never know what you are going to find... MS Shipping or Beef in the harbor...
THAT would be Victory At Sea!
Midway or Pearl Harbor?
Then again it depends on what side...
Why
Let us assume two things from the start.
1) The majority of the players are rational
2) They are logical to a point as well
Then;
Risk... Why would anyone or any company do something like this? Because the reward for those involved is worth the risk. PBLS had to of known that its investors would discover that the A/S had been raised. Do you think that that PR today was just out of the blue? It was to stop a back-slide that would of come without it (Could still come). We only see one side of things here. Assuming 1 & 2 above are correct then PBLS risked this A/S action to get something greater in return. I am of the opinion that PBLS is not worried about cry-baby investors, holding investor's hands or for that matter operating in a fashion that represents a world-class company Until it suits them. I will leave my chips on the table until one of two things happen
1) to see what action was worth the risk
or
2) to discover that management does not fit 1 or 2 of the above assumptions
Personally,
I do not really want them to act like a world class company until they close on a Company-Maker project.
Coydog, OT
professor's salary
What do you teach?
sawdin,
I believe you are correct. When I visited, there was talk of some very large Acq action. There are no cash problems. Some talk of O&G assets that would make a complete company.
I look at it this way. I am averaged under .03 on 1.25MM shares. I am covered.
I told you that tequila and beer don't mix.
Ask yourself why?
Why would you modify a buy back?
Realperson,
Yes they do have the money. This buy back offer is nothing less than creating a new floor for the stock.
One of the things that was discussed.
If that were the case, then my tequila consumpsion alone would of produced news and a form 10 last March.
I find it a good sign of pending activity when they show up.
Arrival of bashers is a good sign
Never fight a battle that you have to win.
When your enemy advances, retreat.
When your enemy retreats, advance.
If you do battle in swamps and wetlands, you must position close to grass, with the trees to your back.
That would cost billions. I would be happy to just poke a hole in WY.
What is the total auth & outstanding???
Asus,
Do you have a picture of depends???
I take it then, that we agree...
I understand. Just a personal comment on storms.
One other thing people that do not live in Hurricane Alley might not understand is this...
Cell phones mostly don't work. Land lines don't work. EMS, FD & Police are busy. Power is out. It is Vegas time with resprect your roof, windows, crud flying airborne at 70 -125 mph, jerks that wait for such a day to victomize people, 90- 100 degree heat, isolation and the "End of the World Syndrome".
Other than that... Go PBLS
Nice to hear from you Asus.
The_Free_Nebula... I agree....
"so shameful how so many are looking for disaster to make some money...chilling stuff..."
A second disaster like Katrina will do us no good. It might in fact hurt PBLS. If anyone wants a disaster then take the scenario that no one dies. Example: Given that we have oil in KY, TN, WY & NV... A hurricane comes into the Gulf and skirts the outer shelf and hits Texas south of Corpus Christi (150 - 200 miles south). The Hurricane takes out the deep gulf production and leaves the smaller coastal production (ProGas does not get hurt). The Hurican slams into a sparcely populated region of Texas (Has Happened Before). What happens? The price of crude shoots up for several months and the sugar growers of Texas have a rare thing happen "Rain". Everyone wins except for the deep rigs (Which the majors evacuate everytime).
The path of such a storm has happened twice before in the last 2 decades.
PBLS has much more to gain from there not being a storm.
The only ones that could want a storm are flippers.
I live near Houston. I have been here when we got 35" of rain in one weekend. I have been here for a CAT3 huricane where the eye passed over me.
Believe me, you don't want a storm.
Asus. The mthead thing is the only entertainment we have for the time until PR's come out. Then again we could just begin posting on his boards, I think they need the numbers.
I think it is good sign that people are really trying to save us from ourselves.
As for Utah and NV, does the saying "On Trend" mean anything?
Cowboy,
Wolverine Gas & Oil, thats the one.
pnew122
Nevada Geothermal has that covered.
Gold is a whole different world of drilling "Core Hole"
Now What if we found the world's largest reservoir of piss. I would be glad to hear that... At least they drilled.
On the other side of things. I think the PR about the 15,000 BBL/d adj lease is confused with another. I think the 15,000 BBL/d lease is really the TeaPot dome scandal from the 1930's and the PR got WY confused with NV. The TeaPot dome Lat/Longs are located in WY. In a conversation the 15,000 BBL/d was mentioned as the TeaPot Dome. I think this will be cleared up when PBLS completes its workings and throws the gravy on the table (Form 10).
Other than that, I have had way toooo much tequila to really think about it other than an average share price of .026 for myself.
Chapter54, You are now released to spell chk me.
USC Cowboy
"Oil and gas exploration and development is a rough and tumble business and you simply do not share your info, not with a competitor nor a shareholder. ITS ALL ABOUT THE PROFITS!"
What a mouth full. I agree 120%. You never tout what you have in the oil & gas world until you KNOW what you have, you know you can DEVELOP it and you have TAKEN the leases on trend around you if you can.
Even then you still don't say much, but production reports and guidance for the coming year... AFTER production has started.
arconway,
It is not Eden Energy. It might be Wolverine Gas & Oil.
PS
Look up mthead on RB and decide for yourself how much you want to put yourself out...
Could you fill me in on what has transpired in the last two weeks?
From that I will be able to tell who I should call. The phones in India and Russia have made a lot of progress in the last 5 years. ... . lol
Hey Gravy... I need Phone Numbers.
Nice to see that you stuck this one out. I got in at .28, .48 & .67 but bailed around .87 when crap went side ways. I will be looking to place again soon after seeing today's news and after I place a call or two to both the russian and indian partners. I once worked in the international section of my company and know from experience that it is not hard to get people on the phone over there.
If anyone has phone numbers to save me some time please post them. Not the Canadian one, the asian ones for the partners.
Thanks Gravy,
You are correct. A friend at ML told me that once the certs are in your account that "THEY ARE REAL" someone else will have to cover.
Second thing he told me was that if there is a short position then that in itself could create a bull mkt for the stock once it starts to move.
In the end, once solid numbers are published then people will begin to invest to the numbers.
I think people saw that the dates and hence News on the two latest acq's were coming due. Not much for technicals, just solid ideas that have a better than 50/50 chance of working out. If you look back at the history of the stock in respect to volume & news I think you will that PA has kept a good lid on when news was going to be released.
Question;
the website. Does anyone have any idea as to why the last few PR's are not on it?
I still believe that the new website (Goes Live) will be a good indicator of when the good news and updates on operations will start to roll.
I know, I wish there was a fund investing there. Kind of like those "China Funds". It is like a whole new Texas being born. Every time I talk to project people up there they tell me about the going rate for people with an electrical back ground and ask me if I am interested. I tell them that any thing less than 70 deg F is a Artic Front to me...
Thank You,
How is the job market up there these days???
Does this dress include a peice of cloth with the rising sun on wrapped around my head, a sword on my side and sipping sake while they warm up my plane???
Sugar Land, Texas, 1,231,500 shares.
Jim,
Actually they are referred to as legacy stocks. That is the few that work out in penny land. A friend at a brokerage and an acquaintance of a co-worker that works on the bankruptcies of penny stocks put the numbers to me in different way. The one at the brokerage said that 1 in 9 work and the other said 12% to 15% work out in the long run. The remainder are left as broken and burning ships off the “Coast of Orion”.
Volume is now double the average of an entire day...
tophat,
To qualify for NASDAQ,
Min. $5 share price at the BID and $15 million in share holder equity.
To stay:
Min. $1 share price at the BID and $10 million in share holder equity
I know what you mean. It is always better to be in the second boat when the rapids come.
I think it might be a good indicator of whats to come but keep in mind the diff between the two.
1) PA has done what he has said he would do and on time. LFKW has missed dates.
2) The fold in of Consultech into LFKW is something PBLS does not have.
