yep,
Let me be clear- there is a real risk that I actually shorted myself by doing these trades and I am buying as we speak=[ err trying to buy] to make sure I am covered- I will feel better on Friday if all goes well. until then- ---
Aye, but not French
I don't expect anything-
100 lots or better- I have one pending so it's gonna have to be after Friday and after that like I said I'm done- If your email in profile is valid I'll send it his way right now. Make sure you understand the divi- I got flagged already on the last one.
[sigh] It's not that easy- unless you have your shares at Computershare or the like . I thought I may have killed the golden goose last week but apparently not- But there are definately drawbacks to doing cross market trades and I'm done for now- .
Uhmm- that's my point- about Friday- .37 actually.
Got my one millionth share today. Good luck all!
Yeah, I'm suprised we have held in this range, reminds me of when I was buying mid September- hoping for a repeat performance!
Bought some more yesterday at .05 and trying for some right now- I'll have some info for anyone interested in doing the overseas watussi on Friday.
On a cash divi- you would have to have bought on Monday- but since this is a stock divi this applies-- [err I think]
This is really confusing in regards to anyone selling after today but before the ex dividend date [ since apparently there isn't an ex date]. Makes my head hurt thinking about it.
From sec website
Sometimes a company pays a dividend in the form of stock rather than cash. The stock dividend may be additional shares in the company or in a subsidiary being spun off. The procedures for stock dividends may be different from cash dividends. The ex-dividend date is set the first business day after the stock dividend is paid (and is also after the record date).
If you sell your stock before the ex-dividend date, you also are selling away your right to the stock dividend. Your sale includes an obligation to deliver any shares acquired as a result of the dividend to the buyer of your shares, since the seller will receive an I.O.U. or "due bill" from his or her broker for the additional shares. Thus, it is important to remember that the day you can sell your shares without being obligated to deliver the additional shares is not the first business day after the record date, but usually is the first business day after the stock dividend is paid.
So since there is no ex div date to get in or out by the record date seems to be the key. IMO as always

An hour before we close- someone's gonna look at his trading screen and say- "Wow!, I only have 60 minutes to be a shareholder of record and I have ____# of shares to buy"
IMO ofcourse
Watch for the epiphany around 3:00pm today .
apparently "shorts'
Gosh for a guy who is looking to sell- you seem almost bummed that this may move today - cheer up- [ so far Glen has kept your .05 floor ] .
[wink]
I made a nice trade here buying before the RS and I have no complaints- but having a gagged T/A - I would definately
keep an eye on the diluting MM . Good luck here !
Hey thanks for the info and we are on the same page about all. I'm a freebie and appreciate the heads up!
Theme for this summers hurricane season- Early and often.
May 9, 11:26 AM EDT
Atlantic's 1st Named Storm Forms Early
By JESSICA GRESKO
Associated Press Writer
Atlantic's 1st Named Storm Forms Early
(AP) -- The first named storm of the year formed Wednesday off the southeastern U.S. coast, more than three weeks before the official start of the Atlantic hurricane season, forecasters said.
Subtropical Storm Andrea had top sustained winds around 45 mph Wednesday morning and didn't appear to be much of a threat, the National Hurricane Center in Miami said. Still, a tropical storm watch was issued for parts of Georgia and Florida, meaning tropical storm conditions are possible within 36 hours.
"We're not looking at this system strengthening significantly," said Richard Pasch, a senior hurricane specialist at the center. "We're not viewing this as a major threat."
At 11 a.m. EDT, Andrea was centered about 140 miles southeast of Savannah, Ga., and about 150 miles northeast of Daytona Beach. The storm was moving west at about 3 mph.
Forecasters said no significant rain from the storm was expected to fall over land through at least Thursday morning. But wind-driven waves have been causing beach erosion in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida and the ocean has lapped at beachfront homes and condominiums.
Subtropical systems are hybrid weather formations that are usually weaker than hurricanes and tropical storms. They are kind of a half-breed, sharing characteristics of tropical systems, which get their power from warm ocean water at their centers, and more typical bad weather that forms when warm and cold fronts collide, Pasch said.
Forecasters said Andrea has the warm center characteristic of tropical storms but its core is not particularly well defined. In addition, its winds are farther out from the center than they would be in a tropical storm.
Typically about one subtropical storm forms each year, but they often turn into tropical storms. That doesn't appear to be the case with Andrea, senior hurricane specialist Jack Beven said. It only has a small area of warmer water to draw energy from and is also facing dry winds.
He said it wasn't unusual for the storm to form in May, outside the hurricane season that starts June 1 and end Nov. 30.
"What we call the hurricane season is a totally manmade creation. Nature doesn't always pay attention to that," Beven said.
Eighteen tropical storms and four hurricanes have been recorded in that month since 1851, and none of the hurricanes made landfall in the U.S. The earliest hurricane to strike the U.S. was Alma in northwest Florida on June 9, 1966.
Private and university forecasters have predicted that the 2007 season will be especially active, producing up to 17 tropical storms and hurricanes and a "well above average" possibility of at least one striking the U.S. The federal government plans to release its predictions May 22.
The Atlantic basin has been in a busy period for hurricanes since 1995. Some federal forecasters believe this is part of a natural cycle. But the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a U.N.-sponsored group, says global warming caused by humans has led to an increase in stronger hurricanes.

TA won't give out numbers- it's the infamous select american transfer agency. I think they may have recently changed ownership so maybe they will be more shareholder friendly going forward- but for now they haven't returned email requests for the info .

(UPDATED) Penny Stock Market Makers Who Are the Players in this Game
By Bill Panetta
Let Me Start off by saying this: Level 2 Does not have the same effect like it did 5 years ago except for OTCBB Stocks & Pink Sheet Stocks. What Do I mean By This? NASDAQ is all chart plays, level 2 has no meaning as it once did for NASDAQ Stocks, and too many games can be played now on level 2. Simply put if you don't know how to read the charts you will get killed on NASDAQ Stocks.
With all the changes on Level 2 Traders have been forced to learn TA, You could had a made a killing with level 2 before 2001 with out TA; I have witnesses that have proven this.
And when I make this comment I am talking about regular trading hours, after hour's different story. Bottom Line Level 2 does not have the same effect on NASDAQ Stocks that it did 5 years ago because of the New Super Soes Trading System being implemented in 2001 and along with 1 cent spreads, it was the worst thing NASDAQ ever did for traders IMO. The Traders from 5 yrs ago know what I am talking about.
Let's talk about the 2 exchanges where Level 2 has not changed and having level 2 is really important to your trading. I am talking about The OTCBB & PINKSHEET Markets.
If you learn how to read into Level 2 on the OTCBB & PINK SHEETS it will really enhance your trading. Let's break down the Market Markets.
There are 4 categories of Market Makers let's start by talking about the first one.
Retail Market Makers:
These are the market makers from very popular brokerage firms. They handle a lot of the order flow for small retail investors.
NITE: NITE
UBSS: Schwab
SBSH: Citibank
ETRD: ETRADE
BOFA: Bank of America
Second Category: This is the list that you really have to master because these are the MARKET MAKERS that can kill a stock in a hurry when they are the sitting on right side of the box on Level 2.
HDSN: killed CKYS single-handedly
VFIN:
CGFL: new kid on the block for sub dilution
RBCM: Old CLYP. Has killed many sub penny stocks in the past to no-bid.
FANC: used to be a heavy S-8 seller. May show up once in a great while.
SSGI: aggressive on sub penny stocks
Third category: There are lot market makers in this category so I will break it down to who are the most important: These are some of the more friendlier market makers on the street.
DOMS: one of my favorites
MAXM:
VERT:
HILL:
SALI: can be a seller at times
JEFF:
FRAN: very friendly
ABLE:
QUIN: haven't seen him around much lately
VNDM:
SEAB:
MURF: getting active lately
STGI: getting active lately
VERT:
WDCO: can be a seller at times
PERT:
NIII:
BEST:
GNLN: nice to see him back again
EFGI: can be a seller at times
Category 4: ECN MARKET MAKERS: Electronic Routes
these market makers are only used on OTC BB stocks. They do not work for pink sheet market.
ARCA: used a lot by promoters to sell stock
TRAC: rarely used any more taken over by EDGX
EDGX: new kid on the block
There are probably a few market makers that I left out or there will a few new market makers that show but for the most part these are the major players. Good luck hopes this helps.
Speaking of sticky and stinky- nice visual here
http://web1.msue.msu.edu/emergency/farmsafe.html
Every year, farmers and other agricultural or horticultural employees are injured or killed in farm-related accidents. Sometimes this is because of equipment malfunction or a farm animal that behaves erratically. However, usually it is due to either an unsafe farming practice or the victim taking risks that should not be taken. For example, in 1989, five Michigan dairy farmers were killed by methane after one was failed to emerge from a manure pit and the others tried to rescue him.
"failed to emerge from a manure pit" - on my tombstone for sure!
try this for pathetic
A 71-year-old man who went outside in the rain to pick up the Sunday newspaper plunged into a cesspool in his front yard, and his son and neighbor were sucked in when they tried to help.
A Long Island man said the soggy ground, soaked by two days of rain, gave way outside his home: "I walked across the lawn, and all of a sudden I disappeared."
He yelled to his wife for help, and she threw a rope and called their son, who lives with them. The son said the scene "was like a horror picture."
A neighbor who heard the commotion ran over to help — but the ground gave way again, swallowing him and the son. The neighbor crawled out and passers-by tried to hold onto the others until the Huntington Fire Department arrived.
Firefighters secured the ground, lassoed the man and his son and dragged them out.
It's not the first time a cesspool — a pit that collects waste from toilets and sinks — has swallowed someone in Huntington.
In 2001, a man practicing archery in the backyard with his two children died when his cesspool caved in and consumed him. And in 1998, a Huntington Station man was rescued after he fell 65 feet into one.
I'm also bidding .08 with UBSS not sure why it never shows..
Wow! I guess the key is that if you drink that and live you will be stronger for it. Drink a frog and Hop on a bus- kinda catchy!
This is gonna run like Oprah to the all you can eat ham buffet.
Yep-I keep thinking back, I got caught holding more shares than was reasonable and I'm sure others short or long did too. After talking with guys at Raymond James and Schwab and they all agree that Don has jumped through numerous hoops and spent a considerable amount of time and money to see this through. Seems like we're all going to see the fruits of his labors sooner now rather than later.
Short answer - [pun intended] The smarter shorts have covered but are more than happy to help the squeeze by creating buying pressure to squeeze the dumber shorts [insert brokerage house of your choice here]. All we need is the story to be told again and get the momo going and our pirate shorts will be happy to run it and then ofcourse reshort it.
aye
The old saying "sell in May and walk away" [ from the stock market ] doesn't apply here. I think buy in May and check back Laborday will be more apt.
Good luck all !
Been going back and forth on the PR thing- on the one hand a Friday after the close PR might give everyone a lot to consider over the weekend and maybe get the word out a little better. A Monday morning PR would likely give us a nice momo bump- but I'm not sure the momo would last if most didn't understand the real issue here. Either way I think a PR is certainly called for and I'm looking forward to it!
BTW Oakwood's newest incarnation will be happy to know that overseas there is an interested party in getting this up and running again.
Better days ahead!
Bid all day at .10 not a nibble.. better days ahead.
Right- they "hold" stocks for the different brokerages along with clients- ie, I have shares of Bank America held there on a drip plan in my name. But Schwab told me that Computershare will clear my CRLD shares . Like I said something is at work here that has yet been disclosed.
Wow! And if I may? Have you sold any into this nice rise?
Yes, the infamous one.. but according to Scott trade and Schwab Computershare is clearing the shares . Interesting stuff- Hopefully we'll be at $10/shr by the time the shares are issued and we can all dump for a nice profit- or maybe we'll discover a silver vein.....
I was told first week in May- but taking one month is unusual- I think there may be other factors here at work, I have 32k post RM shares so I'm all for a nice pps increase-
That's pretty nifty!
According to the transfer agent no shares have been exchanged as of yet- most likely someone has sold short thinking the shares would arrive to cover.
Verification of Shares to be Delivered.
How will the shares be delivered by settlement date?
(Settlement date is trade date + 3 business days)
Deposit Certificate Certificates are in my possession, are registered in the name of the account and will be delivered to XXXXXXXXXXXX by Settlement Date.
Journal Shares, which are in good deliverable form, are being journaled from another XXXXXXXX account by Settlement Date.
Transfer Shares are being transferred from another financial institution, are registered in the name of the account and will be at XXXXXXXXX by Settlement Date.
XX Corporate Action Company is undergoing a corporate action (i.e., stock split, company name change, corporate exchange or acquisition, merger or spin-off) and shares will be in the account, in good deliverable form, by Settlement Date.
Exercise Shares to be issued in the name of the account by a transfer agent, as a result of an exercise of a right, warrant, or convertible security.
Yep, -- there has been a screw up- and unless they pull a rabbit out of a hat someone's scr%wed and it's not the shareholders...
Talking about our transfer agent- and where the shares are- Computershare- there is more to the story here= potentially a large short caught here . imo
