That's a lame excuse. But he didn't even tell me that. He didn't back to me at all. GLTA
I simply asked to see the facilities that I have invested in. Do other companies do that? Can you get a tour of the Coke or Pepsi plants if you own stock in those? Or even if you don't own stock in those? Many companies gladly give access to their facilities. It is a way to promote the company and increase the shareholder base. Don't see any downside to that at all. To the contrary, some potential upside. That is, unless you are against the concept of making money on your investment. GLTA
Black shouldn't blow shareholders off. He has been entrusted with our hard earned money. He could definitely improve in the shareholder relations department which would also help get the PPS moving north again. GLTA
I am not some Joe Smoe. I am an investor in Mr.Black's company and should be treated accordingly. If I was a CEO I would welcome investor visits to increase the awareness of my company and encourage other investors to jump on board. What a novel idea!!
I talked about the previous share repurchase plan that didn't happen so I won't beat a dead horse on that. I have sent communications to the e:mail address on their web page on numerous occasions and have never once gotten a response. I asked if I could tour the Worldwide wipes plant and again got no response. Don't you think Black would want to promote positive investor relations and increase awareness of his company by encouraging investors to tour their facilities? If he is not going to respond to any inquiries that are received why not just delete the e:mail address on their web page? He talked about the large German companies that were considering putting the microfill machines overseas but we haven't gotten an update on that in 4 months now. Is it still a go program or is it dead? Just a few of my concerns. GLTA.
In my opinion, and based upon my investing experience, it would behove you to listen and analyze posts that are both supportive and critical of HNSS and make your investing decisions accordingly. I have invested in stocks in a similar way as you in the past, i.e. listened to pumpers and those supportive of a company and blew off the bashers and those critical of a company, and got burned badly when the PPS tanked. Hopefully HNSS will work out with a nice return for all longs but there are some red flags out there. To ignore those is not smart investing. Good luck.
According to the PR on the 17th, "the Company has a fiduciary responsibility to its stockholders that precludes it from enriching a few at the expense of the many". That means the company can't buy back stock from shareholders at the various prices they are asking. i.e. the plan as communicated was not viable to begin with. They made that PR so they could come back later and say the shareholders have given them a vote of confidence to proceed with buying equipment. GLTA
I have one account. GLTA
See the PR on November 2,2010(Healthnostics announces stock repurchase plan) and the follow up PR on November 17, 2010(Healthnostics announces repurchase results). There ended up being no repurchase program and the company invested in new machinery instead. The equipment investment is all well and good but Black should have never announced a repurchase program from shareholders to begin with if he knew he couldn't go through with it. I think that has made some potential new investors skeptical of yesterday's PR. IMHO GLTA
I think he did mislead investors. I guess we have a difference of opinion on that. But I won't call you all kinds of names because we disagree. Evidently a lot of potential new investors agree with me because they aren't jumping on board after today's announcement. I will come back with the Pom Pom's for my next post. GLTA.
And that's not unusual for a company trading on the Pink Sheets. It's guilty until proven innocent here with many investors. GLTA.
You didn't read my post correctly. HNSS is credible in my mind that's why I am heavily invested in it. I think it has a credibility problem with potential new investors wanting to jump on board. If that wasn't the case the PPS would at least be at $.01 now. Who wouldn't want to get a 30% return in the short term based upon today's PR? The fact that the PPS has barely moved since the announcement tells me that some people are skeptical. GLTA.
I have not lied at all. All I said was if investors believed this morning's press release they would be scooping up shares at a big discount to the offer of $.01. It's not happening, at least yet. How is that a lie??
I already have many times. I currently own 1.8 million shares. How many do you have? Do you think if Apple or Microsoft was trading 35% below an offer they put out to buy back shares that people would be buying like crazy when the offer came out? Absolutely. Why isn't it happening with HNSS? Because they don't have the same credibility. I'm sorry I can't sugarcoat a lot of things like many of the other posters on this board. But I am still long and will continue to be. At the end of the day we are all here to make money and many aren't at this point because the PPS has been declining. That's not my opinion, just a fact. GLTA
Because I think eventually they will be worth more than $.01.
Just stating the obvious. If the investment community believed today's PR they would be buying up shares like crazy. A 35% discount to the offer price. It's not happening. I think the stock is a good investment and will eventually provide a return to me but my shares are underwater right now. Trying to add some reason in the midst of all the sugarcoating/cheerleading. GLTA
Did you expect any different? No. I'm sure Black didn't either.
Correction. Somebody just bought at $.0061. GLTA
But why isn't their a mad dash for shares right now at a price much less that what US News is offering? You can buy right now at $.0065, a 35% discount to what US News is offering. The last PR hurt the company's credibility. Black never had any intention of buying back shares from shareholders so he shouldn't have even released the previous PR. IMHO GLTA
I just bought another 700,000 shares the other day. Don't plan on selling. Don't you think it's odd that the PPS isn't moving towards the offer price of $.01 after this announcement? Because Black came out with a similar offer some time ago and subsequently said he couldn't follow through on it. Can't you accept other people's opinion's without ridiculing them? Don't act like an $#$%^. GLTA
People don't believe the press release or they would be buying. When the last offer similar to this fell through it hurt their credibility. IMHO GLTA
Having said that, if good financials don't move the PPS up, what will? Do they have any plans to uplift to a higher exchange? The NASDAQ? Share buyback? Sale of the company? etc.etc. Thanks.
Good numbers but the stock price doesn't move. Any chance of the company buying back shares to get the PPS moving again? GLTA
What's "the inevitable"? Thanks.
But even at a PPS of $.03 the stock would be significantly undervalued based upon previously announced earnings. Should be north of $.10 at a reasonable P/E of 10-15. GLTA
Mr. Black feels confident the PPS will be over $.03 in less than a year otherwise there would be no benefit for US News to exercise their options at this price. IMHO GLTA
They need to give us something with numbers in it. Been mostly fluff to this point. GLTA
If this is good I don't want it to get any better. Down 9.4% on over a half million shares traded. GLTA.
Your crystal ball needs a tuneup. Going the other way. GLTA
TD Ameritrade is showing 156 million shares outstanding so the market cap would then be $312 million. Did they get a big contact recently that hasn't been announced to justify such a valuation? GLTA.
And what would the market cap be then? How many shares are outstanding? GLTA
No agenda. Just went down to $.0048 when the bid was $.005 and the ask $.0055. GLTA
Looks like the T trades have started again. GLTA
No volume in 2 1/2 hours? GLTA
I have. Where are all the buyers to suck up these shorted shares to keep the PPS from tanking?
If there was sufficent bid support the PPS wouldn't continue to tank. Simple supply and demand. GLTA
Not whining. Just injecting some reality in the midst of all the cheerleading. The stock wouldn't be plummeting if there were buyers. Until Mr. Black steps up and provides some bid support or gives new investors a reason to buy then the stock will languish. That's not whining. Just the facts. GLTA
And the bid keeps going lower and lower. GLTA
Do you see all kinds of new buyers stepping up to the plate here at these bargain basement prices? No. Because there aren't any. The only people that are aware of this stock are those that follow this board and they are already loaded up. Need some new investors to come on board or this thing will continue to languish. GLTA.
I'm not either one but I would be a lot better off if that was the case. Taking a beating here. Should have waited and bought lower. Oh well.
