I wonder if ACLH, if once settled with the SEC can sue for damages from the people who hosed them over.
IDK - any thoughts?
What gets me is they didn't even have a chance to get their "sh " together as a company, looks like they were trying.
I bet most of the club zero members never even ran a small company and dont know how hard it is. scam or not that is for us who invested to decide to get in or get out.
Geeze if you pulled ANY company apart you will find some mis-statement or mistake made. Maybe we shouldn't invest in apple because they are being sued by Nokia.
I dont need any supervision. Do you?
Holy crap, what is up with this xxxxx. why put the kabash on all these innocent people on something he never invested in? He made us loose our money in this on a BS assumption. its mind numbing.
maybe i should turn him in for jaywalking.
thanks
yea but a ton of peeps lost a lot of money here. We didnt need anybody's help. I am having a hard time believing someone would do such a thing.
ref aclh post 15160-15162
are you serious?
I have wondered why THRR wasnt suspended also. I was emailing all types of info to the SEC about THRRs claims. I guess a lot more people complained about ACLH. Also there is that Hotline to expose scammers trying to take advantage of the oil spill
.
So are you saying that you were the one calling the SEC on ACT as well ???
i would think they have our money + their assets.
Well you can call your congressman and ponder the timing of ACT trying to get into the mix of contractors to help clean the gulf, BP refusing to use anything but that crap their sub corp sells, and all of a sudden the SEC putting their boot on the neck of a small company with a good chance of having a part in the cleanup of this freakin mess. maybe the whole scenario needs a little oversight.
Looks like freakish timing if you step back and look at the time line.
Anyone who is in this has to be prepared that this may be dead and gone worst case. But also keep in mind The gulf disaster is a unusual event so something may happen that can lift this from the ashes.
Its kind of strange with all the retards sabotaging at both CC's and now this? tells me this was a setup by some screwball with the A$$ against ACLH.
somebody had an agenda. And dont tell me it was ACLH - why would they shoot themselves in the foot when their stock price was going up - scam or not...
If the PR is the ISSUE hold on to you hats because the whole pink sheet listings are about to be froze up. If not then we know theres more to the story than he pr'ed this and was not exactly on target...
This should keep club zero busy for a while.
There must have been some mitigating circumstances because they changed the PR, so why do it if they weren't going to do it in the first place.
If the SEC had any concern for shareholders and our economy they would be putting the perps that brought down the economy in jail instead of wasting time on a road kill pinkie that is feed for the club zero vultures.
yep I agree
Patient? lol Ive been in this since about 2007
Is there an appeals process?
Insider trading? what do you mean?
Well I haven't checked lately but I don't think these ACLH guys have sold shares or raised the AS while the pps was going up. That to me would have been a sign that they were in the mood for scamming.
Their AS is low their float is low. Not the trademark of a scam company IMO. If they were selling into the PR'S for no good reason I would be very suspicious and would have bailed long ago.
I Think they just ( as any small business would) saw a windfall opportunity in the oil spill that happened and tried to make the most of it by getting their paperwork up to date and work the sales of their services to the situation. I think they may have been a little to ambitious and excited to be in the game and made some critical mistakes.
They have a decent product they were trying to bring to market ( the hardest part of doing business) were floundering in this bitch of an economy, then this oil gusher erupts on the scene and they might have said, yea we can do that and help, and by being naive IMO walked into an ambush. ( My assumptions in this)
IMO , I think a disgruntled investor or one of the Club Zero members called the SEC, made a BS stink about the 'details' of the PR'S which snowballed into a stupid suspension over the said details.
And probably normally it wouldn't even blip on the RADAR but with all the TV coverage and politics involved they put a target on ACLH and that was it. IMO
I think, as I see it, that ACLH is just a little guy business trying to find a nut. And believe me I've seen some scams in my journey of trading and as a professional QA inspector.
On the other hand, even if this position ultimately costs me in the long run I hope the SEC will finally crack down on some of these real BS penny businesses like in the good old 90's when 8 out of 10 plays were legit and it was somewhat easy to find good companies even without the internet and easy money. Something was lost after that in that the penny's became the wild wild west instead of just the wild west.
Check this - look up RRC ($42.20)I owned that puppy when it was .10 a share ( and probably labeled a scam by some peeps) in my early days of trading in the late 90's but the rules and laws were a bit different than what was going on the last 10 yrs. I hope the SEC is on the job now in a real way and not just doing this from the politics of the situation.
I hope ALCH can get things corrected with the SEC and all with a stake in this.

Happy Days ...

If they have the old wells as per their interview this may still pan out. whatever can be f'ed can be unf'd if these guys can get the SEC out of their arse.
DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
The Securities and Exchange Commission suspended trading in penny stock ACT Clean Technologies Inc. (ACLH) for 10 trading days as the agency said there are questions about public statements from the remediation-services provider.
They include the "accuracy and adequacy" of information including BP PLC's (BP, BP.LN) "purported expression of interest in using a so-called oil fluidizer technology purportedly licensed to" an ACT unit for use in cleanup efforts from the Deepwater Horizon's explosion and sinking last month. Also raised as a concern by the SEC is "the purported results of field tests finding that the oil fluidizers are effective for use in clean up efforts in the Gulf of Mexico."
The company issued a statement Tuesday to "update" two recent releases, downplaying connections to BP but instead saying samples were given to a BP contractor. It also said that "prior resting and usage" of its oil fluidizer "makes it an effective weapon in the clean-up of hard surface oil contamination," without specifically referencing potential effectiveness in helping deal with the Gulf spill.
As of now, trading will be allowed to resume on June 9. The stock was trading at below a penny until April 29, when shares began to rise and closed on May 3 at 7 cents. The stock has traded between 3 cents and 7 cents since, closing at 4 cents on Monday.

Because scams aren't going on in BIG business - lol - just read the news from the last year and a half.
How do you think those businesses got soooo big. Honest dealings? hahahahahaha
Some of these so called Big boy businesses are run like a Tony Soprano special and everyone seems sooo hopeless in doing anything about it.
give me a break, we the american people have been getting hosed for the last 9 yrs by big businesses and we took it like chumps.
Now all of club zero and the SEC is out picking off of road kill. Where were you guys for the last 9 yrs when you should of been saving us from the ones that count????
lol

Happy days...
hehehe yea and sodium is in salt but also used in nerve gas.
My take on this creaping,
this is my theory, take it or leave it,
Maybe they had a notice from the SEC to adjust their embellishments from the previous PR's. It seems to me they made to specific of a statement that they were dealing directly with BP when in fact they were doing it through ANCON Marine it seems.
They did so with the mew PR's this morning at 6am. Thinking that they were in the clear they went on business as usual and thats why the CEO wasn't aware of the suspension. He thought it was taken care of.
And given the hard core politics of the situation it rubbed somebody wrong and they got the prize, altho its what every other stock in the same position is saying as well.
This is just my theory of what might have happen given ACLH the benefit of the doubt.
But everything is a scam in todays world don't ever forget it.
No it doesn't.
They can be 2 separate corps (entities) but still under one roof. I have a business that is incorp and we do one thing BUT are developing other business models in a close to but separate set of technologies. Once we get the new one off the ground we will incorp that one as a seprate entity and it will have its own name, president etc etc. but use the main company's sales team and other resources like a separate company but under the same roof at least in its startup phases. It becomes a 'sub corp' of the main one.
You do it for efficiency, insurance, liability, or you just want to keep the technologies separate, depends on the biz plan and how you want to structure it. Thats why I don't see it as strange.
Wow why would one harp on that sooo much? Lots of companies have subs and are under one roof.
grown but not men IMO.
Oil Innovations Pump New Life Into Old Wells
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/05/business/05oil1.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1
Excerpt
Many oil executives say that these so-called peak-oil theorists fail to take into account the way that sophisticated technology, combined with higher prices that make searches for new oil more affordable, are opening up opportunities to develop supplies. As the industry improves its ability to draw new life from old wells and expands its forays into ever-deeper corners of the globe, it is providing a strong rebuttal in the long-running debate over when the world might run out of oil.
Typically, oil companies can only produce one barrel for every three they find. Two usually are left behind, either because they are too hard to pump out or because it would be too expensive to do so. Going after these neglected resources, energy experts say, represents a tremendous opportunity.

Your right everything verified would be outstanding. Im with you on that.
Now show us a pink you would recommend thats around .03, that everything is verifiable and has the potential to go up a couple of hundred percent. I'm sure you will have tons of followers here.
So what REAL companies do you recommend??
Hey I hate to get scammed to but all I can do is put into what I believe will run, checking things to the best of my ability as well as the help from the fine people on this or other boards, then sprinkle a little luck into it and it comes out the other end the way it comes out.
If I can control every aspect of this game then I would be typing this from my beach house off the great barrier reef off of Australia.
happy days to you

true that my friend, true that
Think of it this way, with this oil disaster on everyone's mind there is going to be a lock down on who and how companies can do deep water drilling.
This positions aclh perfectly to move forward with their new business model idea of flushing out the thousands of old wells for maybe thousands of barrels per well. This may be a very lucrative revenue stream besides the work they can pick up in the gulf.
I think things are looking bright for this company.
holding long and strong here.
I think they said Green Rhino
yea just go down to your local kindergarten and it was the same thing - people couldn't or wouldn't find the mute button.
Man all this puppy needs to do is buy back some shares and she will fly to the moon. People seem to love this stock.
I know I do already.
Looks like the market woke up ...
this is crap, all the other oil spill plays are up today...
What the Hell ... OVER
I did that very thing
Right on JNet. With the dow down the way it is I think we did a great job today.
EXCELLENT ! they are getting their loose ends squared away so they are ready when the contracts hit...
